Chapter 30
"Arizona" Teddy whispered "mom, I think she's waking up"
"Arizona honey, it's your mom, come on honey open your eyes" Barbara said reaching for Arizona's hand, as she opened her eyes blinking a few times.
"what? Where am I?" she asked her voice cracking
"you're in a hospital in Denver" Teddy said
"Denver, what happened?" Teddy looked at Barbara, both looking down, Barbara took a deep breath looking up at her daughter "you're tour bus was in an accident, the road was icy, and the driver lost control" Arizona took a deep breath looking around the room "where's Callie?"
"Callie? Who's Callie?" Teddy asked looking at her mother confused
"my wife Calliope?" Arizona said
"oh honey" Barbara said leaning in "they said you'd probably had some dreams and when you woke up you'd think they were real"
"so, there is no Callie?" Arizona asked
"no, no honey there is no Callie" Barbara sighed. Arizona turned her head to look out the window, as the tears stung her eyes. "I'm still a musician?"
"yes" Barbara said, there was a knock at the door, the doctor came in. Teddy pulled her mom out into the hallway "mom" she whispered in the hallway "the girl in the car, her name is Callie, Callie Torres" Barbara looked at her daughter, tears threatening to spill down her face. Teddy reached out pulling her mother close to her "she's awake, just be thankful she's awake"

"Mrs. Robbins?" the doctor said walking out of Arizona's room, Barbara nodded "everything looks good, she's stable, we'll keep her in the ICU for another couple days just to make sure the swelling goes down, based on the outcome of that, we'll move her to a room, she's going to be here for a while, but things are looking good" he gave them a smile. Teddy found herself holding her mother's hand, giving it a squeeze, they both smiled with tears running down their faces.
"thank you, doctor," Barbara choked out, Teddy looked back into the room to see Arizona staring out the window, she sighed and headed back into the room
"was there anyone else involved" Arizona asked turning her head
"yes" Teddy looked down taking a deep breath "there was a car, a father and daughter from Madison"
"from Madison" Arizona asked, the beeping of the machine started to increase
"Arizona calm down" Barbara said "you'll put yourself back into a coma"
"I want to know what happened" Arizona said moving her hand, the IV was starting to hurt, and her head was pounding
"Arizona there'll be time for that later" Teddy said reaching for her hand. Hearing Barbara's phone ring, she dug through her purse "it's your father, I'm going to" she nodded towards the door phone in hand "hi honey, yeah, she's awake"
"Teddy" Arizona said once Barbara left the room "I know you're hiding something what is it?"
"I'm not hiding anything, I'm just so happy you are awake" Teddy reached for her hand
"cut the bull shit" Arizona said pulling her hand away
"wow you just wake up from being in a coma for a week and you're already back to yourself" Teddy laughed
"Theodora" Arizona said sternly
"fine, yes it was a couple from Madison, no one we know, I don't know any more than that honestly"
"do you know their names? Are they ok?"
Teddy sighed thinking about what Arizona had said when she woke up "they are ok. The daughter" she paused looking in Arizona's eyes "Callie, is still in the hospital here, I'm not sure what's wrong, but the dad, I didn't catch his name, is good just a broken arm"
"Callie" Arizona whispered, "can I see her?"
"why?" Teddy asked confused
"I need to make sure she's ok"
"I don't think that's a good idea at least right now"
"Teddy please" Arizona pleaded
"Zo, you just woke up"
"fine tomorrow" Arizona said turning to look out the window "do me a favor though" she sighed
"anything"
"send her flowers"
"done" Teddy smiled. It had been a long week, sitting in the hospital room hoping and praying Arizona would wake up, she would have done just about anything for her sister at this point. "Arizona" she whispered
Arizona turned her head, as Teddy reached for her hand "yeah"
"I, ah, I'm glad you're ok, I missed you" Teddy felt a lump in her throat as she said the words "I love you"
"I love you too sissy" Arizona smiled
"your father is on his way and he's bringing Mark" Barbara said coming back in the room
"who's Mark?" Arizona asked confused
"you don't remember Mark?" Teddy asked looking into Arizona's groggy eyes
"no, should I?"
"he's um" Teddy said looking at her mother for some help with the answer
"he's your fiancé" Barbara said, reaching for the blanket on Arizona's bed to pull it up to cover Arizona more.
"my fiancé?" Arizona blinked "you mean I'm not?"
"a lesbian?" Teddy laughed "no, Arizona, you are totally straight"
"well, what the hell, I'm so fucking confused right now" she turned her head to look out the window again. As Barbara's phone rang "I have to take this" Barbara said leaving the room, Arizona turned her head looking at her sister "so you're telling me I have a fiancé named Mark, and I've never been with a girl?"
"nope, you're completely straight like I said" Teddy had to hold back a laugh "I on the other hand, am completely gay"
"what the fuck is going on here" Arizona said holding back the tears, the dream she had while in coma, was totally fucking with her. "so the girl in the car, her name is Callie?" Teddy nodded "please tell me her last name isn't Torres" Teddy's face turned red and her eyes got huge "it is, isn't' it?" Teddy nodded "if her dad's name is Carlos, I'm done"
"I'm not sure of her dad's name, I think you should get some rest, I can wake you up when dad and Mark get here"
"I want some answers Teds, really" Arizona pleaded
"later" Teddy whispered, as Barbara walked back into the room "damn press"
"mom, you work for a news station" Teddy laughed
"I know" Barbara laughed looking at Arizona "do you need anything, another pillow?"
"no mom" Arizona said blinking, turning her head towards the window, if she felt better she would have loved the view "I'm fine, I'm getting tired I'm going to sleep"
"ok dear" Barbara said walking over to Arizona, placing a kiss on her cheek "I'm so glad you're ok, I was so worried"
"yeah, me too" Arizona whispered but no one heard her, with her eyes closed she heard Teddy say "mom, she's completely out of it, she didn't know who Mark was"
"I know" Barbara sighed "I hope she starts remembering things soon"
"she" Teddy took a deep breath "she knew the girl Callie's last name"
"how?" Barbara asked looking at Arizona
"I don't know, do you know her father's name?"
"I think it was Carlos" Barbara said "why?"
"I'm assuming, in her dream, she was with a girl name Callie Torres, from Madison, who's fathers name was Carlos"
"well what the hell" Barbara said still looking at Arizona
"we can't tell her this information" Teddy said almost pleading with her mother "I read somewhere" Teddy was cut off by a knock at the door, turning she saw her father and Mark, Arizona's fiancé. Mark rushed to Arizona's side, kissing her forehead. Arizona had to hold back the reaction to move away. She wasn't sure what was going on but hearing what her mother and sister were just saying made her even more confused. Taking a deep breath, she drifted off to sleep.
"I'm going to go get a drink and go to the bathroom" Teddy said standing up making her way to the door. She turned and looked at her sister laying in the bed, she sighed whispering "Arizona, I don't know what's going on in your head, but I'm going to find you the answers you are looking for". Heading down the hall to the elevators, she hit the button as it opened stepping inside she hit 3 instead of 1, where the cafeteria was located. Stepping off the elevator, she saw the nurses station, making her way up to it, a pretty brunette, nurse looked up with a smile "hi, can I help you?"
"yes" Teddy smiled "I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of Callie Torres's room please"
"just one moment" the nurse said looking down at the computer as she type, Teddy noticed her name was April, looking up again, Teddy's heart stopped beating for a second when she was lost in a pair of brown eyes, shaking her head she heard "if you go down the hall" she pointed "and to the right, her room is 317, it'll be on your left"
"ok, thank you so much"
"anytime Miss Robbins" she smiled Teddy looked at her confused, April let out a small laugh "I'm a fan of Arizona's, I couldn't help but not recognize you, and when you asked her Miss Torres's room I put it all together"
"thank you again" she nodded, with a smile. Teddy pushed herself off the desk, heading in the direction she was told. Whispered "317" to herself, she stopped just outside the door. Taking a deep breath, she reached up and knocked. "come in" she heard a raspy voice say. Clearing her throat, as she made her way into the room "hi, I'm"
"Teddy Robbins" Callie smiled
"yes" Teddy laughed, Arizona was huge, and apparently everyone knew her family. 'well this chick is from Madison' she thought "um, my sister"
"is she ok?" Callie asked concerned
"yes, she actually just woke up, thank god" Teddy said looking up "she um, she asked me to come and make sure you were doing ok"
"I'm doing about as good as I can be" Teddy looked at the bed, Callie had her left leg in a cast, along with her left arm, and a bandage on her head "don't worry it looks worse than what it is" Callie smiled "they said I can go home in a few days, thank god, the food here sucks"
"so I've heard" Teddy laughed "so um" she sighed "I don't know if I should be telling you this, considering we just met and all but" she stopped
"what is it?" Callie smiled, she liked how shy Teddy was being, from what she had read about the Robbins girls is Teddy was the more out going one, always speaking her mind.
"do you mind if I sit?" Teddy nodded at a chair
"please do, it's nice to have a visitor besides my dad"
"how's he doing?"
"he's good, arm in a cast, just like me" she smiled holding up her arm "we're twins"
"so, um, Arizona had a dream, I think she thinks it was real"
"a dream?" Callie asked "I had one too, when I woke up it confused the fuck out of me"
"yeah, she seems to be lost, she knew who my parents and I were, but she had no idea who Mark was"
"Mark is her fiancé" Callie said knowing all about Arizona's life, well what she knew from the internet and tabloids
"right, well she seems to think she's married to a Callie" Teddy said looking into Callie's blue orbs. Callie thought for a moment, her dream was coming back to her "she thinks she was with me, doesn't she?" Teddy nodded, she saw Callie take a deep breath "in" started to say "in my dream she and I were married, and happily in love"
"so" Teddy looked at her quizzically
"sounds as if we had the same dream" Callie said
"what I don't understand is Arizona is nowhere near gay" Teddy sighed "she's always given me shit about it, so for her to have a dream like that, totally baffles me"
"I don't know much about dreams, but maybe it's a way of telling both of us, there's something better than what we have, out there" Callie smiled looking into Teddy's eyes, especially after proving everyone suspicion that she was gay, everything about Arizona was out in the open, but her family stayed pretty quiet only a few rumors leaked out. Both turning their attention at the voice coming from the doorway "I'm sorry honey they only had the" he stopped just inside the door "oh you have a visitor" he smiled setting the items he was holding on the table reaching out his good arm "hi, I'm Carlos Torres"
"Teddy Robbins" Teddy smiled taking his hand
"Arizona's sister, right?" Teddy nodded "how's she doing? I heard she was in a coma"
"she was, she just woke up about an hour ago, she seems to be doing good, when I left she was resting"
"good, I was so scared seeing that bus almost fall over the edge like it did"
"you helped get her out, didn't you?" he nodded "that's actually how I broke my arm, I fell, trying to get the door to the bus open. Those things suck" Teddy gave him a quizzical look "I'm a bus driver" he smiled
"he works for the bus company in town driving those big buses"
"ah gotcha" Teddy smiled "um, Arizona wants to meet you guys, I am trying to talk her out of it until she is a little more healed but if I know my sister she'll talk me into it tomorrow"
"I, we, would love to meet her" Carlos smiled
"ok, I'll see what I can do, when did you say they were letting you out?"
"hopefully within the next week, she's got a long road ahead of her with rehab, but we'll manage" Carlos smiled
"alright sounds good, I better get back" Teddy stood up making her way to the door she stopped and turned around "I'm really glad you guys are ok" she smiled
"thank you" Callie smiled, Teddy nodded and left.
"that was nice of her to stop by" Carlos said picking up a can of coke he had brought, offering it to Callie but she passed
"dad, she said Arizona had a dream"
"oh"
"I had one too, in it she and I were together, happily married, I didn't think anything of it, but Teddy made it sound like Arizona thought it was real"
"that's weird, but I've heard people in a coma sometimes wake up thinking the dreams they had were real"
"she didn't recognize her fiancé"
"what" he laughed "from what I've read about them they are madly in love"
"I don't know" Callie took a deep breath, a knock on the door let them know the nurse was ready to check Callie's vitals.

"where's your drink?" Barbara asked once Teddy was back in the room
"oh um, I guess I forgot" Teddy looked down, she had forgotten all about telling them she was going to get a drink
"ok" her mother said confused
"how's she doing?" she nodded towards Arizona
"she's out cold, we were thinking about heading to the hotel, now that she's awake and doing better, we can go and get some decent sleep and a shower"
"you guys go, I'll stay here" Teddy said
"I'll stay too" Mark said he had ahold of Arizona's hand
"no Mark, no need for you to"
"but she's my" he started to say but Teddy cut him off "honestly if she wakes up, I need to talk to her" she looked at him "and I'd prefer to do it alone"
"Teddy she's on a lot of pain meds" Barbara protested
"I know mom, just please, I need to be alone with my sister" she snapped
"ok, ok" her mother said "Mark, we'll go grab some supper"
"do you want anything" Daniel asked
"no I'll grab something out of the cafeteria"
"like your drink?" Barbara said, Teddy knew she was on to her
"ok but if something changes please call me" Mark said leaning in kissing Arizona on the forehead and whispered "I love you" Teddy saw Arizona flinch, she chuckled to herself knowing she was awake. Teddy sat down in the chair next to Arizona's bed, as she watched her parents and Mark leave. "ok they're gone"
"I didn't think they'd ever leave" Arizona whispered, opening her eyes
"hey" Teddy smiled "how are you feeling"
"my head is pounding, but otherwise good" Arizona tried to smile but it hurt too much
"well get some rest, I'll be right here when you wake up"
"I know you went to see her"
"see who" Teddy tried to play dumb, but Arizona saw right through it
"Callie, how is she?"
"she's doing good, she's in good spirits" Teddy said thinking about what Callie had told her about the dream she had
"I want to see her" Arizona said leaning forward as if she was trying to get out of bed "ugh my fucking head"
"Arizona, lay back down" Teddy said standing up, pulling Arizona back down on the bed
"no Teddy, I need to see her" Arizona said almost in tears
"I'll tell you what" Teddy sighed "why don't you get some rest, and I'll see if she can come up here, you shouldn't be going anywhere"
"you promise?"
"yes, sissy I promise" Teddy sighed again "now lay back down and get some rest"
"hello ladies" a voice said from the door Teddy turned to look, and couldn't help but smile, it was the same nurse Arizona had every afternoon since she'd been here. Her name was Addison, she was a gorgeous redhead. Teddy couldn't help but not stare at. "hi" Teddy smiled hoping her face wasn't red, picturing what she would do to her if they were alone together.
"Arizona, I'm glad you're awake" she smiled going over to the machine "how you feeling?"
"my head is killing me"
"I figured as much, I have some pain meds here, they will most likely knock her out for a few hours"
"good, she needs to rest"
"I agree" she said pressing some buttons on the machine then putting the meds into Arizona's IV "there, give it a few minutes and it'll kick in"
"thank you" Arizona sighed, ready for some relief, she laid her head back on the pillow
"I'll be right here" Teddy said, not taking her eyes off the nurse, she got her attention and whispered, "can I have a word with you in the hall?"
"don't be asking her out now" Arizona laughed, her eyes were closed
"ha, funny" Teddy said playing it off as a joke "she hasn't even been awake for a day and she's already back to making my life a living hell" she laughed
"that's what sisters are for" Addison laughed, nodding towards the hall, Teddy followed her out "what's up? You aren't really going to ask me on a date, are you?"
"well" Teddy said raising her eyebrows
"why don't we get Arizona better first and we'll talk" she smiled, touching her arm.
"ok" Teddy felt herself blush "but what I wanted to talk to you about was, Arizona wants to see the girl who was in the car, I was wondering if you thought it'd be an ok idea to have her come up here, or maybe take Arizona down to see her?"
"I think" Addison stopped, looking into the room "she's not stable enough to leave the room, but if Callie is willing to come up here, that would be a fine idea, I heard she had a dream that she was married to her"
"crazy huh? She's not even gay" Teddy said following Addison's gaze to her sister
"yes and no" she went on to explain how comatose patience have dreams.
"hmm" Teddy said "well I'm going to go talk to Callie again, you have my number if she wakes up, will you text me please" Addison smiled and nodded "thank you" Teddy reached out touching her arm. They both paused for a moment feeling the electricity of the touch Addison whispered, "will do" and winked. Teddy looked in the room, sighed as she made her way to the elevators.

"hello" she smiled knocking on Callie's door, she made her way into the room "sorry to bug you again but"
"it's no bother, my dad just left for the night, he said he was tired of being cooped up in the hospital, so I told him to go to the hotel and get some real rest" Callie smiled "it's good to see you, how's Arizona?"
"the same as she was a couple hours ago" Teddy smiled
"good"
"she really wants to see you, but" she paused "the nurse doesn't think it's a good idea for her to leave the room right now"
"hmm" Callie said looking around "how about I go up there? I'd love to see her too"
"that's what I was hoping for, she's not going to leave it alone until she gets to see you for herself, maybe it will" Teddy stopped, taking a deep breath
"maybe" Callie smiled knowing what Teddy was getting at
"she, ugh, I wish I knew what was going on, I hate this" Teddy said sitting down in the chair
"I understand, let me get the nurse in here and see when a good time would be" Callie said hitting the call button
"hello Miss Torres, what can I do for you?" a male nurse said coming into the room
"I was wondering if it'd be possible for me to get out of the room for a bit, was thinking maybe she" she nodded towards Teddy "could take me on a walk, in a wheelchair of course"
"you're Arizona's sister, aren't you?" he asked
"yeah" Teddy nodded "she's asking to see her"
"how is she?"
"she's doing good, she'll be here for a while"
"I'm glad she's awake" he smiled "I'll see what I can do about getting a wheelchair"
"no rush, she's sleeping right now they gave her some pain meds before I left"
"ok" he smiled leaving the room
"maybe we could take this walk outside for a bit, I could really use a smoke" Callie smiled "and I haven't been out of this room in forever"
"sounds good" Teddy smiled, as the nurse came back in with a wheel chair. Callie laughed "don't make fun of my amazing dress" Teddy couldn't help but laugh. She liked this girl, she knew Arizona was going to love her, which deep inside of her made her worry, Arizona wasn't gay, but with the dream she had, and seeing how outgoing Callie is, she could just see a switch flipping in her sister's head. She pushed that thought a side as she helped the nurse, his name was Joe, get Callie into the chair. Callie thanked him and nodded for Teddy to start pushing.

"wow it's gorgeous here" Callie said once they were outside "a little chilly" she shivered
"here" Teddy said taking off her sweatshirt and placing it around Callie, but not before taking out her smokes, she lit two and handed one to Callie who nodded her thanks "it is gorgeous here" Teddy said looking around in the distance you could see the mountains, that were snow covered.
"ahhhhh" Callie said letting out the smoke she just inhaled "this is what I needed" Teddy smiled "my dad won't bring me out to have one, I don't smoke too often but after the last week I really needed one"
"I hear you there, I'm waiting for Arizona to start whining"
"you two are close?" Teddy nodded "must be nice, having a sister, I'm an only child, my mom died in a car accident 5 years ago"
"I'm sorry" Teddy said sitting down on the bench, which was cold on her ass.
"hopefully you don't look like you pissed yourself" Callie laughed
"was it wet?" she hadn't looked she just sat down
"not that I saw, but who knows"
"right" Teddy laughed, she really liked this girl, hopefully they could be friends once everyone was home "so you're from Madison?"
"crazy huh?" Callie nodded
"it is, to be this far from home and" Teddy went on, they kept the small talk going while they finished their smokes. Teddy wheeled Callie back into the hospital lobby, "oh a pop sounds so good"
"what kind?"
"mountain dew, please" Callie smiled a smile Teddy couldn't help but love. "so, Arizona's not gay, but you are?"
"mmhmm" Teddy said taking a drink of her pop "she's always given me shit about it, and said she could never be with a female" 'maybe she's changing her mind'
"I am" Callie smiled "and I love it, there's nothing better than being in the arms of a woman, but it's been so long"
"I hear you there" Teddy smiled thinking about the nurse "Arizona has a really hot nurse, I've been trying to" Teddy was cut off by her phone going off. She pulled it out, seeing a number she didn't know, she could only assume it was Addison she opened the text her assumption was correct hey Teddy Arizona is awake and looking for you… she's not the only one ?~Addy
With a smile on her face she typed a quick reply and looked at Callie "someone special?"
"I'm hoping maybe" Teddy smiled "come on our rock star is awake" she nodded towards the door, pushing Callie in that direction.

"hello" Teddy said coming into Arizona's room
"where the hell were you? You said you'd be" Arizona said turning her head towards the door she stopped midsentence. Losing all sense of anything seeing the Latina woman from her dream.
"I'm right here" Teddy laughed, looking at the two of them they both had the same look in their eyes "Arizona, this is Callie"
"Callie" Arizona whispered lost in her thoughts, Callie appeared to be doing the same clearing her throat Callie spoke first "Teddy tells me you wanted to meet me"
"yeah" Arizona cleared her throat "yes, I did" she made eye contact with Callie. "I, um, wanted to make sure you were ok"
"yup just peachy" Callie smiled "broken leg and arm, but it could have been a lot worse" "your dad is ok?"
"oh yeah" Callie smiled "he has a broken arm"
"apparently he's the one who pulled you out of the bus" Teddy said sitting down in the chair
"really" Arizona asked looking at Teddy, Callie smiled and nodded "mmhmm"
"wow, remind me to thank him" she smiled
"how you feeling?" Teddy asked reaching over fluffing her pillow
"better, now instead of a constant pounding, it's a dull ache" she pointed to her head
"well you look adorable" Callie winked, Teddy saw Arizona blush, she had never seen Arizona blush before. There was a noise in the door way, as Addison appeared "good you're back, she was worried" she smiled Arizona looked at her "can I see you for a minute" she looked at Teddy
"you two good?" Teddy asked looking at the two of them, who both nodded, smiling

"so" Arizona said moving in her bed to get more comfortable, "you're from Madison?"
"yup" Callie laughed, she had just gone over this with Teddy "small world that we were to meet this way"
"I think I've seen you somewhere though" Arizona said "but it could have been a dream, I don't know"
"you bumped your head pretty hard" Callie said reaching up touching Arizona's head, she moved her hand slowly down Arizona's arm, stopping when she got to her hand, holding it, Arizona couldn't do anything but stare wide eyed into the chocolate brown orbs, feeling a jolt of electricity in her touch. She had never felt anything like that before, both lost in each other's pools of blue, being pulled out of the trance they were in when Teddy came into the room smiling. Shaking her head "what's with that look"
"I just got a date"
"with the hot nurse?" Callie asked moving, so she could look out the door and maybe catch a look at her again. Teddy smiled and nodded
"go sissy" they spent the next few hours sitting in Arizona's room talking until Addison came in saying it was time for Arizona's meds, noting the time Teddy looked at Callie "we should probably get you back"
"yeah" Callie said looking at Arizona "it was good to meet you"
"I want to see more of you" Arizona whispered, she shook her head hoping no one heard that clearing her throat, seeing Callie smile "it was" 'dammit I think she heard me'
"I'll be back sissy" Teddy said standing up and wheeling Callie out of the room.

"she's amazing" Callie said once they were in the elevator
"yes, she is"
"do you know the extent of her dream?"
"not all of it, just that you two were married, and madly in love"
"hmm" Callie said looking down at her hands "I, um, I don't know" she laughed they walked in silence into Callie's room "would you mind helping me in the bathroom? If not, I can call the nurse" Teddy looked around, they were gone for a couple hours and had a bottle of pop "I'd love too" she smiled as she wheeled her into the bathroom. "hey, don't be shy, we have the same parts" Callie laughed
"right" Teddy smiled as she helped Callie out of the chair and onto the toilet "oh my god" Callie said in relief, she finished up Teddy helped her back into the chair and back into her bed. "thank you for today"
"no problem" Teddy smiled
"and congrats on the date with the hot nurse, I'm sure if I would have had a penis it would totally be erect seeing her" Teddy laughed, she couldn't help but be surprised at the way Callie was talking "sorry it's been awhile" she rolled her eyes.
"I hear you" Teddy smiled "I should get back, if you need anything" she leaned over grabbing the pen and paper from the table "here's my number, don't hesitate to call or text"
"thanks, I won't" Callie smiled "have a good night"
"you too" Teddy said turning to leave.

Six months later found Arizona doing a show, she was still in a walking boot, going through rehab, but she wanted to get back out there doing a show at a small place in Madison. "oh my god she's here" she said to April, her manager, they were standing along the side of the stage looking out over the crowd.
"who is?" April asked confused
"that girl Callie I was telling you about"
"from the accident?"
"yeah" Arizona said not taking her eyes off Callie "do me a favor" she said reaching for a pen and some paper jotting down a note "will you make sure she gets this?"
"can't Teddy do it?"
"she's not here" Arizona smiled
"what the hell?" April laughed Teddy never missed a show
"she's in Denver"
"Denver, what the hell is in Denver?"
"hot nurse" Arizona laughed
"go Teddy" April laughed
"I know, I gotta say she was pretty hot" they both shared another laugh
"alright, which one is she?"
"the Latina standing 4 people in from the right, she's got the purple superman shirt on" April looked out again taking the note nodding. "um, now please"
"wow demanding" April laughed gaining a look from Arizona, "I'm going" she laughed again as the lights flickered signaling it was time for Arizona to go on. Taking a deep breath as she watched April walk up to Callie, as she made her way to the stage.

"excuse me, are you Callie?" April asked
"I am" Callie smiled looking at the older woman who was standing in front of her
"I was told to give you this from Arizona" April handed her the note "enjoy the show" she smiled turning around making her way backstage. Callie held the note for a few seconds, staring at it, then opened it
Will you meet me back stage after the show?
She looked up at the stage, as she caught Arizona looking at her, she held up the note and nodded.

"that was amazing" April said once they were back in the small dressing room
"thanks, I missed playing, can't really do much when your arm is in a cast"
"I know that feeling" they heard from the doorway, Arizona couldn't help but smile
"hi"
"hello" Callie smiled
"come on in" Arizona said sitting down "don't mind me, my leg is still weak, as you could tell I didn't move around much on stage like I normally do"
"yeah you've got some pretty elaborate moves" Callie laughed
"you good here?" April asked looking around the room
"yeah, I'll catch you later" Arizona smiled
"it was nice to meet you Callie, I'm April Arizona's manager, and I'm leaving" April laughed
"you too" Callie smiled, she was still in shock that she was in the dressing room talking to Arizona Robbins. "so" she said once April was gone
"do you want to have dinner? I'm starving"
"I would love to" Callie smiled, she watched Arizona stand up "just let me get my things and we can head out"

"I don't have a car here" Arizona laughed
"I got mine" Callie smiled nodding towards the parking lot "can you make it that far?"
"yeah" Arizona smiled, making small talk as they walked "sorry I'm a little slower than normal"
"it's all good, I'm not quite up to full potential either" Callie smiled

"thanks for having dinner with me" Arizona smiled once they were back in the car after eating.
"I'm not ready to go home yet, what do you say we head out to the lake for a bit, it's a nice night I love going out there on nights like tonight"
"I'm game" Arizona smiled

"will you thank your dad for me? I honestly don't know if I'd be here without his help" Arizona said as they walked, they had shown her pictures of the bus, shortly after everyone got off it fell down the embankment.
"I will" Callie said stopping "have you ever been here during the sunset?" Arizona shook her head "it's amazing"
"I bet it is" Arizona took a deep breath looking at Callie. Who turned, their eyes locking on each other's. Callie closed hers taking a deep breath "tell me about Mark"
"what's there to tell, we met in high school, been together for about 5 years" Arizona said sighing, after the accident she wasn't sure he was what she wanted
"he seems pretty amazing"
"yeah, I guess" Arizona shrugged, turning to look out over the water "truth be told, I don't see a future with him, at least not anymore" she turned back to look at Callie "which is why I ended it with him"
"oh?" Callie reached up, putting her hand on Arizona's cheek, butterflies engulfing her stomach "has anyone told you how beautiful you are?"
"not in a while" Arizona smiled leaning into Callie's touch, feeling the butterflies engulfing her stomach.
"well you are" Callie whispered, without another word, Callie leaned in, their lips meeting. It was slow at first, until Arizona reached around pulling Callie into her. Arizona's tongue ran along Callie's lower lip, asking for entrance, Callie opened her mouth, granting it. When their tongues met, both let out a moan, that could be heard for miles.
