Chapter 1: Sharkcolt is Born
"Sharkcolt was not always half-shark, half-pegasus. He was a marine biologist, or at least in-training. His father studied great white sharks in a cloud laboratory in the southern Celestial Sea, and he called his son, 'Sharkcolt', because of how much he loved to care for the sharks. He made them sushi, and had given them all names: Goliath, Tsunami, Leviathan, and Kraken.
"But one day, a magical and mysterious storm appeared, it wiped away the entire laboratory. Sharkcolt and his father's wings were badly hurt, but thanks to the life rafts, Sharkcolt and his father survived, but they survived on different sides of the wreckage, each floating off in a different direction. 'Sharkcolt!', yelled his father, as he drifted away from his young son. Sharkcolt was completely alone.
"Almost completely, but one of the sharks recognized him. 'Hey, it's Sharkcolt, don't take a bite out of him boys, he's a friend', the shark said to his fellow shark friends. They took Sharkcolt to their cave home off of the coast of the Dragon Lands, where he'd be safe and dry.
"His new family were sharks... hundreds of sharks!"
