Chapter 5: Battle for the Book
Day Dream left his classroom and went outside to go home, while he held his Dream Journal with his magic.
"Day Dream", called out Titus. He was sitting on a bench with his three friends, Dodge, White Pine, and Fireball, Day Dream turned around as he was walking past them, and he gave an annoyed look on his face. "Let's be imaginary friends", Titus said, "you can try and hang with us, and we'll pretend you don't exist!" His three friends then giggled, while Day Dream frowned at the bullies.
Then Titus showed his notebook to his friends and said, "Check it out, Sharkcolt gets shocked by electric eels. And then they feed on his cooked flesh".
Titus showed his drawing in his notebook to Day Dream. He drew Sharkcolt being attacked and shocked by three green electric eels in a water tank.
"Wow, Titus", said Day Dream as he looked at his drawing, "you're skills are... weak!"
Then suddenly, with Titus angry at Day Dream's work, he got off of the bench and grabbed Day Dream's Dream Journal with his mouth and started pulling it away from Day Dream's magic. But his magic was stronger, then he let his journal go and it hit Titus in the face, and Titus yelled, "Ow!", and he dropped the journal.
As Day Dream picked up his journal with his magic, Titus and his friends looked at him in shock. And then Titus, rubbing his muzzle, stared at Day Dream, and said in a furious tone, "I'm gonna burst your bubble, Dream Boy!"
And with that, Day Dream started running towards the school playground frightened, while holding his Dream Journal tightly with his magic, and the four bullies ran after him.
The chase for the Dream Journal began!
The school playground was big, it had swings, seesaws, monkey bars, and slides. Day Dream was fast, but the bullies were catching up to him, then he started to climb up on one of the jungle gyms, for he thought that he could lose the bullies there. But they were right behind his tail.
"Get the book!", shouted Titus, as he directed White Pine to go right, and Dodge to the left, while he and Fireball went straight. Day Dream ran through the jungle gym and slid down a small slide, then White Pine blocked his path on his right, so Day Dream climbed on another jungle gym to try and escape.
As Day Dream ran through the 2nd jungle gym, White Pine and Fireball blocked his path, and then, Titus and Dodge blocked his other path behind him. The scared young unicorn was trapped as he held his beloved Dream Journal in his arm.
"Hand over the book", said Titus as he held open his arm to Day Dream, "or you'll visit the dream world".
Suddenly, Day Dream threw his journal with his magic over Titus and Dodge into a nearby slide behind them, and he went down the same slide after it, while the others went down other slides after him.
When Day Dream came out of the slide, he grabbed his journal with his magic and ran towards nearby monkey bars and started to climb. Then the bullies, who came out of the other slides, went after him on the same monkey bars.
As Day Dream climbed faster, he slipped and fell, and he landed on his right front hoof and sprained it. He was in a lot of pain and his magic stopped holding his Dream Journal, because Day Dream couldn't focus due to the pain.
Then, Titus walked up to Day Dream, who was lying on the ground, groaning in pain, and he picked up his Dream Journal. And with a smirk on his face, he said, "I'll bring you a revised addition tomorrow".
Titus and his three friends waved goodbye to Day Dream and walked away with his Dream Journal, and left him on the ground below the monkey bars in pain.
