Chapter 8: Tornado Magic

"BOOM!!", the thunderclap went outside, and the lightning flashed along with it.

"Who knows where tornadoes come from?", Mr. Electrihoof asked his students, as he was looking at the storm through the classroom windows.

And then he said, "Well, when a weather team from Cloudsdale fly fast in a circle in one way, they can create a tornado. As the weather team fly really fast around, and around and around".

And when he was finished, his young daughter, Crystalite, sitting up front said, "I dreamt of a story kinda like Sharkcolt and Lavafilly". She showed her father her drawing. "Icefilly and Dreamcolt", she said.

But her father wasn't amused, he didn't believe in those kind of things.

"Her powers come from her crystal heart, and they channel through her horn", said Crystalite, as she pointed at the crystal necklace on her Icefilly drawing with her pencil, and she was using her magic to hold it.

But then, her father closed her notebook, and he said, "No more Pony Tales".

And then, some of the fillies and colts started talking to one another, and showing them their drawings in their notebooks.

"Dragonfilly and Griffincolt", said a filly in the back of the class, she was showing her drawing to a colt in front of her desk.

"Treecolt and Plantfilly", said Fireball, as he showed his drawing to a filly behind him.

"Sneezecolt and Hiccupfilly", said Dodge, as he showed his own drawing to a filly in front of him, and she giggled.

And then Mr. Electrihoof called out, "Does everypony hear me? I'm a teacher, right? Wrong, I'm an awakener. Only I'm finding it more and more difficult to keep my class... awake".

"Ah-choo!", Crystalite sneezed.

"And no recess again for you today, Crystalite. You have too many allergies", said Mr. Electrihoof as he walked to his desk.

"I'm just... cold", said Crystalite. She was shivering a little bit, and her arms were crossed.

Just then, Day Dream walked in the classroom. I'll be happy to change places with you", he said to Crystalite. "It's a lot warmer back there in my spot".

"But I... h-have to sit up front", Crystalite said in a shivering voice.

"It's just that you're sitting right under the fan", said Day Dream as he looked up at the ceiling.

"Ah-choo!", Crystalite sneezed again.

"And it's summer, and you're sneezing", Day Dream said.

"You're gonna get me in trouble", said Crystalite with a worried look on her face.

"Day Dream?", said Mr. Electrihoof from his desk. So Day Dream walked to his teacher's desk to hear what he has to say.

"Are you trying to make real friends?", asked Mr. Electrihoof.

"Yeah, trying like you told me to", replied Day Dream.

"That's good", said Mr. Electrihoof with a smile. But then, with a concerned look on his face, he said, "Just not with my daughter okay?"

Then, Day Dream turned and looked at Crystalite, then he turned back to his teacher. "No!", he said with a worried tone in his voice. "It wasn't like that, it's just..."

"Sit down, Day", said Mr. Electrihoof.

So Day Dream walked to his desk at the back of the room, class was about to begin.

And as Day Dream got to his desk, Titus walked in carrying his books, but he was also carrying Day Dream's Dream Journal that he and his three friends stole from him during the playground chase yesterday. He had a mischievous look on his face as he looked at Day Dream.

"Rrriiinnnggg!" The school bell rang.

Then, Day Dream, with a furious look, put down his saddle bag and walked up to Titus' desk. "Give me back my journal!", he said holding out his bandaged hoof.

"Class has begun, everyone in your seats", called out Mr. Electrihoof.

"Titus took my journal!", Day Dream said to the teacher.

"I did not!", said Titus.

"Minus! I mean, Titus", said Mr. Electrihoof. "You get a minus for misconduct. Give Day Dream back his journal".

So Titus did what he was told, an gave Day Dream his journal, and Day Dream swiped it away from Titus' hoof with his magic, and he walked back to his desk.

Then Mr. Electrihoof said, "One more time, Titus, we'll have to change your name to 'Minus'."

When Day Dream sat at his desk and opened his journal, he was shocked. Every page in his beloved Dream Journal was scribbled and ruined with black ink!

"HE RUINED MY DREAM JOURNAL!!!", shouted Day Dream.

"I did not!", Titus protested. "Mr.Electric, send him to the principal's office and have him expelled!"

Suddenly, Day Dream threw his journal with his magic at Titus. "Ow!", he yelled.

"You're in my class!", Mr. Electrihoof called out. Then he got up from his desk, stood in front of the class, and stomped his hoof. "Not the other way around, I know everything, and you know nothing! At the end of class, both of you will report to the principal's office! With your parents!"

Then Day Dream looked outside and noticed that there was a tornado getting closer to the school, but it was no ordinary pegasi made tornado, possibly dark magic.

Suddenly, one of the classroom windows flew open and strong wind blew in. So Mr. Electrihoof went to the windows and tried to close them. But the wind was so strong, that all of the classroom windows flew open.

Sheets of paper, class projects, and works of art flew all over the place. The storm outside was definitely not pegasi made, even the Wonderbolts, who came to investigate and stop the strange storm from Cloudsdale wasn't able to control it.

Back in Day Dream's class, Titus noticed his Dream Journal was near his desk when Day Dream threw it at him. So he picked it up, and put it in his saddle bag.

The storm was getting stronger, much too strong, even for the famous Wonderbolts. And it was too powerful for Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, who both came to Fillydelphia to try and stop the storm, but their alicorn magic was powerless against it.

The electrical tornado was getting closer to the school!

"EVERYPONY, DOWN!!!", yelled Mr. Electrihoof.

All of the young fillies and colts got down to the floor and hid under desks, including the teacher.

CRASH!!! Some of the windows, including some parts of the wall broke apart, and crashed into the classroom.

But there was something else that crashed in the classroom. Not some 'thing', but some 'pony'.

Two someponies in fact. A blue pegasus colt, and a pink Earth filly.
