Chapter 10: Dimension Drool

The tornadoes in the storm were getting stronger, and they were destroying everything in their path, but luckily they're not near the houses or the school. For now.

"I can't believe I'm finally getting to ditch this place and go to Dimension Drool", said Day Dream, as he was running with Sharkcolt and Lavafilly through the school grounds.

"How are we getting there?", asked Day Dream as he continued running with the two ponies and into the woods.

Suddenly, the three ponies stopped in front of a big tree, with four small pointed rocks that made a circle around them. And in the center in front of them was a small round stone firepit, and it had an old inscription on the side of it.

"This is how we get to Dimension Drool", said Lavafilly, pointing at the firepit.

"Only you can light the fire in this enchanted firepit, Day Dream", said Sharkcolt. "Your unicorn magic is the key to creating a magical portal to Dimension Drool".

"Really?", asked Day Dream. "But what if my magic isn't strong enough, and what if I fail?"

"And I've never done a spell like that before".

"You won't fail, Day Dream", said Lavafilly with a smile. "All you have to do is read this inscription out loud, and create a spark from your horn. And that's how the portal to Dimension Drool will open".

"That's it?", Day Dream asked.

"That's it", said Sharkcolt and Lavafilly.

"Okay", said Day Dream. And so, he stood in front of the firepit and read the inscription out loud.

It read:

"Water give life to Earth,

and Air ignite Fire.

Take me to the World

where I most Desire".

After Day Dream finished the inscription, he lit a spark from his horn and aimed it at the firepit.

And suddenly, a rainbow colored fire lit up in the firepit. And then, the four rocks started to glow around the three ponies, and they each shot white, blue, green, and red beams of light in the firepit.

When the rocks stopped, a violet wormhole appeared over the firepit. It was the gateway to Dimension Drool!

"You did it, Day Dream!", shouted Lavafilly.

"Now let's go save our worlds!", said Sharkcolt.

And so, Sharkcolt jumped into the portal first, then Lavafilly jumped in next, and Day Dream took a deep breath, and jumped in the portal last.

And the magical portal from Equestria to Dimension Drool closed.

The ride for the three young ponies was a little bumpy in the portal, but it was thrilling for Sharkcolt and Lavafilly, but not so much for Day Dream, but he toughened it out a bit.

"We're almost there everypony", said Lavafilly. "We might wanna hold on to each other's hooves, it's gonna be a bit of a rough landing".

So Day Dream held Sharkcolt's hoof, and he held Lavafilly's hoof, and she held Day Dream's other hoof. And together while holding onto each other, they made a circle, and they started spinning round faster and faster. And that meant that they're near the other end of the portal to Dimension Drool.

"BOOM!!" In a bright flash of light, the three ponies fell on a shiny looking ground, but luckily the ground was soft and they weren't hurt.

When they got up, Day Dream looked behind him and saw the magical portal close and disappear. And when he turned around, he saw an amazing view of big purple mountains in the distance, there were planets of all sizes in the sky, along with billions of tiny bright stars and some galaxies glowing in many colors.

He was in Dimension Drool!

And there was a huge amusement park filled with lots of cool rides, fireworks were everywhere, and a giant rollercoaster combined with a tall mountain in the middle of the park.

"Recognize your dream world, Day"?, asked Lavafilly.

"Not really", replied Day Dream with a frown. "I feel like I should, but, I just don't".

"It's affecting him too", Lavafilly said to Sharkcolt. "I thought he would just remember".

Then Day Dream turned to them. "Remember what?", he asked.

"Your dreams", said Sharkcolt. "Of this world. Us. Your powers".

"I have powers?", Day Dream asked with his eyes widened.

Sharkcolt nodded his head.

"More than any of us, don't you know that?", asked Lavafilly as she walked towards Day Dream.

"Everything that is, or was, began with a dream", Lavafilly said with a smile. "And you dreamt us, Day. Us and this whole place".

"I did?", Day Dream asked as he was looking at the big amusement park in awe, and with a smile on his face.

"Every dream you ever had landed right here in Dimension Drool", said Sharkcolt, pointing at the amusement park.

"Why is it so dark"?, asked Day Dream.

"The dimension is dying", said Lavafilly with a worried look on her face. "Began yesterday".

"What's the calculation, Sharkcolt?", asked Lavafilly.

So Sharkcolt took out a shark-shaped device from his belt, and said, "45 minutes till the Darkness destroys Dimension Drool".

"We didn't go to Equestria to save you, Day Dream", said Lavafilly. "We need you to save Dimension Drool".

"But how?", asked Day Dream.

"The Dream Lair is on the other side of the mountain range", said Sharkcolt as he pointed his hoof towards the purple mountains. "That's where your dreams are going bad".

Then Lavafilly said, "But to get there, we'll have to travel through the Passage of Time, catch the Train of Thought, swim down the Stream of Consciousness, and skate across the Sea of Confusion. Now covered in ice".

"Why'd you do that Day Dream?", asked Sharkcolt with an angry look on his face. "Why'd you freeze the ocean?"

Then suddenly, Lavafilly pushed Day Dream aside and burned Sharkcolt's arm with her hoof.

"Ouch!", he shouted.

"Day Dream didn't mean to do it! Did you, Day?", said Lavafilly. "Day Dream is a good pony, otherwise you and I would be evil, and we're not evil!"

"I'm not evil, am I Day?", asked Lavafilly.

"I don't think so", Day Dream replied.

"That's why we brought you here, to put things back in order", said Lavafilly. "We just have to stay positive, it's not the end of the world".

"Not yet, it's not", said Sharkcolt.

So even though bad things are happening in both Dimension Drool and in Equestria, Lavafilly remains optimistic and hopes for the best. While Sharkcolt on the other hoof, he's just hoping to take down the one responsible for creating the Darkness. And as for Day Dream, he's hoping for adventure and fun, as well as saving his dream world and his home.

Suddenly, thunder boomed and it startled the three ponies, it was the Darkness, heading straight for them!

"THE DARKNESS!!", shouted Sharkcolt.

"RUN!!", shouted Lavafilly.

So the three young ponies ran down the hill from where they came out of the portal. They were running towards the amusement park.

"This is like a nightmare!", shouted Day Dream.

"Oh, yeah?", said Sharkcolt. "Just wait till you meet Mr. Electric. He's the worst nightmare yet!"

Day Dream was starting to feel more scared than he was back in Equestria. What can a young unicorn like him do to stop something so scary and powerful?
