Chapter 13: Power Surge

"Now?" asked Sharkcolt, as he crouched down with his wings spread open. Getting ready to strike.

"Now!" replied Lavafilly. She was ready to fight, too.

But Day Dream stood behind Lavafilly and backed up a bit. He was too scared to fight giant, evil power plugs.

The sparkling plugs began to surround the three ponies like giant snakes.

Sharkcolt fought back first. He did a really big back flip and landed on a high bridge, where some power plugs were about to strike. He punched 2 plugs hard, and threw one of them on the ground.

Then he did a cart wheel flip that kicked a purple plug, and he punched that plug while he punched 2 more. And a green plug came up from behind, and zapped him. And a black plug came up to Sharkcolt, wrapped itself around him, and threw him to the floor below.

And that plug, along with a yellow one started zapping him while he tried to punch them.

Mr. Electric cackled and wimped mockingly at the scene.

Lavafilly was running while more power plugs began to surround her, stopped as more blocked her path.

Then her hooves started to glow red hot!

And the lit on fire, and shot herself up in the air like a rocket, away from the evil power plugs. She did a back flip in mid-air, and landed on one of the high bridges, close to Mr. Electric.

Then Lavafilly turned around and faced the enemy.

And with her pink mane and tail on fire... Lavafilly started shooting lava out of her hooves! All over Mr. Electric's mechanical body, again and again, repeatedly. He was in a lot of pain.

"Feel the burn!"

"AH!" he exclaimed painfully.

Lavafilly shot out a huge blast of lava at his face. And he was knocked out.

But when she stopped to see if the damage was done...

Mr. Electric quickly woke up! He faked it all.

"Not for reals", he said. And he shot electrical bolts at Lavafilly from his tail.

And she fell to the floor below.

Meanwhile, Day Dream gained a bit of courage.

So he pulled out a nearby giant yellow plug to fight. But as it came to life and looked at him, Day Dream felt scared again, and he ran away as the plug started chasing him.

And as Day Dream ran from it, the power plug suddenly stopped. It couldn't go any further.

Day Dream started laughing as it was struggling to get to him. And he signaled it to come to him teasingly.

And when the plug was about to try again, it noticed a spare extension plug nearby. So it inserted itself into that, and it began to chase Day Dream again. He gasped, and started running from it.

When it was gaining on him, Sharkcolt suddenly leaped out of nowhere and landed on the evil power plug.

And he did a back flip and crushed the plug's head to pieces under his hooves.

Sharkcolt growled and showed his razor-sharp shark teeth!

Then Lavafilly got up, and joined Day Dream and Sharkcolt for another stand-off against Mr. Electric.

"Internal radar, shark-like reflexes", said Day Dream as he admired Sharkcolt's fighting skills.

"You're amazing!"

"But is it enough to defeat Mr. Electric?" Sharkboy asked as he was getting ready to fight again.

"We have our secret weapon, remember?" Lavafilly asked.

Sharkcolt and Lavafilly stood up to Mr. Electric again. Ready for Round 2.

"Did you really believe... you could stop me?" asked Mr. Electric as he showed off his electrical muscles.

"I know we can't, but he can", said Lavafilly, pointing at Day Dream standing behind them.

"Take it away, Day Dream!"

So Day Dream made a fighting pose. But Lavafilly was expecting him to do more than that.

"Show him what you're made of, Day", she said.

"What am I supposed to do?" he asked. Day Dream didn't know what Lavafilly meant.

The 2 ponies were disappointed. And Mr. Electric just smiled.

"I told you this would happen", said Sharkcolt.

"I thought he would just remember", said Lavafilly.

"Remember what?!" Day Dream asked. He really doesn't understand what Lavafilly is saying.

Suddenly, Mr. Electric turned one of his hooves into a claw, grabbed Lavafilly, and lifted her up.

"The dream!" she replied. "Remember the dream!"

"I don't remember half my dreams!" he said.

Then, another of Mr. Electric's hoof turned into a claw, grabbed the young unicorn by his back legs, and lifted him up upside down.

"That's why I write them in my Dream Journal!"

And finally, Mr. Electric grabbed Sharkcolt by his back shark fin with a spare electrical claw in his body. And Sharkcolt growled angrily.

"What half your dreams do you remember?" asked Sharkcolt.

Mr. Electric laughed maniacally as he carried the three ponies high above the floor.

"This part I remember", replied Day Dream.

"Where are you taking us?" Lavafilly asked Mr. Electric.

"Where all the useless dreams go", he replied. "To the Dream Graveyard".

He laughed as he let go Sharkcolt, Lavafilly, and Day Dream, letting them fall down a magical portal below his lair.

The three ponies screamed as they fell.
