Spoilers: The Man in the Morgue
A/N: So I just watched this ep, and my first reaction was "HOLY EXPLITIVE". My second reaction was "AWW, Booth loves her soo much! They are SO cute together." My third reaction was to grab my computer and type.
This is the product... it's short and simple, and I doubt I'll continue. Simply because this just rolled right out of me, and I'm not sure I could force it.
I like honest reviews, cause that's the way I roll, so pleaseābe honest. Now. Read.
"Why are you nice to me?"
Booth paused.
You're smart.
You keep me on my toes, and never cease to amaze me.
You're shockingly independent, but somehow I worry about you anyway.
You're beautiful.
It's fun to watch you in the midst of a stroke of genius, even if I have no idea what you're saying half the time. Alright, maybe all the time.
I find that I miss you, whether I'm away for an hour or a week.
You make me smile, even when you're mad.
I want to be near you, no matter what it takes.
I love you, Bones. God help me, but I love you.
A million answers. A million confessions. A million thoughts running around in his head. But now was not the time.
"I couldn't do that without you, Booth."
Would there ever be a time? As he looked at the battered, bruised, and yet stunningly beautiful woman across from him, he couldn't help but think that time seemed to be in short supply these days.
"Then you should be a little nicer to me, huh?"
There will be a time, Booth told himself, he would make sure of that. But not now. Now was the time to enjoy being with Bones, Temperance, his best friend. He will tell her how he feels; He'll tell her everything when the time comes. But not now.
Love it? Hate it? Think I should never show my fanfic face again? You know where to click.
