Summary: Tallest Red is horrified to discover he only has 24 hours to live. What will he do?
A/N: Before I begin, let me apologize profusely to you, my
friends. I am a terrible procrastinator. I start things, but I don't
always finish them. 'Failure' and 'Tales with the legend' are
prime examples of this…though, I do want to finish them…but
I had this huge writer's block, and then… I got inspiration for
this fic, and a one-shot….
so you know, Red is EXTREMELY OOC, so
I warn you….you see, I wrote the prologue, and was reading over it
and I thought: "wow. Red sounds like such a BABY!" or,
un-Red-like. so…sorry.

she loves them all.
24 hours
"wha…what are you saying!" the tall Irken asked incredulously. "I'm truly sorry, my Tallest. But the tests we ran showed us that your illness is fatal…" the medical drone looked at him sadly. He looked back at him grimly. "how long?" he asked. "At the most, 24 hours." "…only that long?" "Yes.We have no known cure at this point. Again, I am truly sorry, my Tallest." "Yeah…me too." With that, the tall Irken drifted out of the medical area of the Massive.
As the seriousness of his condition overwhelmed him, he held his head in one claw and braced himself against the wall with the other. "what…WHAT AM I GOING TO DO!" he shouted angrily. He banged his curled claws against the wall desperately. "why did this happen! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN! WHY IS LIFE SO DAMN UNFAIR!" his shouts dissolved to sobs, and he slid down the wall. "It wasn't supposed to be this way…" Red sobbed again and curled into a ball, unsure of how to go on. 24 hours to live. He definitely needed to take care of some unfinished business…but he knew….it was all over tonight.
A/N: ok, that was
really short, but it's just the prologue! This stories' chapter
titles and such and basic plot came from the song '24' by JEM…I
fell asleep listening to it, and this plot came to me. Please
review!
