Of all the things to have happened to Eda, sudden non-consensual strangling via Abomination goo was definitely one of the things she did not expect to happen to her. She did her best to brace for impact as she and Lilith were being dragged down into the sewers, the landing knocked Lilith out cold while it almost knocked all the wind out of her. All of a sudden she was thrown against one of the sewer walls, she collided shoulder first and felt a pop followed by excruciating pain in her dominant shoulder, any attempts to move her arm were in complete vain. A sense of dread kicked as she realized that her arm was dislocated, what made matters worse was that Lilith was unconscious and she was also separated from her Palisman Owlbert when she and Lilith were grabbed.

Her distress would only worsen when she heard what her attacker sounded like, it was cold monotone and devoid of all emotion.

"Intruders detected: detain and apprehend for immediate Cyber-conversion."

Out from the shadow emerged a modified Mondasian Cyberman, it looked like most models of Cyber-Mondan except for a face or mask that looked like masks worn by Coven scouts. No, no that couldn't be possible, those monsters had done something she never thought possible: Cyber witches!

Like a prey animal, she helplessly began stepping back, trying to get as much distance as possible from the threat. It proved moot though, the Cyber witch used abomination magic to grip her leg, knocking her off balance and dragging her to them. She tried to grab something with her only functioning arm in an attempt to buy herself some time, but no such luck came with the attempt as there were no cracks or protrusions on the sewer floor to allow her purchase of much-needed time. Seeing no other alternative, she hastily detached her leg, playing her last possible card in a deadman's hand in this game of life and death. She had expended all her options, and now all she could do was steam for some stranger or good samaritan to help.

Lilith was stirred awake by the blood-curdling screams from her younger sister, any daze was flushed from her system. She saw a figure with a coven scout-like mask, strapped to all sorts of ungodly contraptions wielding abomination magic. It seemed to be attacking Eda, In urgency, she grabbed her staff and fired off a blast at the figure, whatever the hell they were. She managed to hit them in the arm, causing a gruesome and bloody explosion that sent bits of flesh, metal and bone everywhere. Unfortunately for Lilith, everywhere meant that there was now a shard of bone currently embedded in her left shoulder. Lilith let out a pained groan, if it weren't for the pain-numbing adrenaline that was flooding her system, she would scream and curse up a storm, but right now she was hellbent on protecting her little sister.

The monstrosity of metal and flesh that Lilith could only guess to be a 'Cyberman', tilted their head to the side and looked down at the stump where their arm once was, and to both Lilith's horror and amazement, used the Abomination goo to form a new arm. The Cyberman began to march towards her, converting their hand into an axe. Lilith braced herself before aiming her staff at the Cyberman's head before blasting it again.

It was a direct hit, unlike the shot to the arm the damage SEEMED minimal, the keyword was 'seemed'. The Cyberman's mask was damaged, revealing the face of a young witch seemingly in their early to mid-twenties, with basil-coloured eyes. Their eyes snapped out of a seemingly emotionless trance to reveal a look of shock, then sorrow and ended in horror as they looked at what they had become. In rapid succession, they went through the stages of grief, stopping short of acceptance. In one swift move, the witch used the abomination fluid to take their own life.

For a whole two minutes, the air was filled with a deafening silence. The events kept playing in the back of Lilith's mind: that thing, that Cyberman, was a witch -a young individual who had their whole life in front of them, only to have it be ruined by the Cybermen and then snuffed out by her. It wasn't even a quick or painless death either, no they had to see the monster that they had become. The thought of what the Cybermen did to make to increase their numbers made her blood boil, she was furious. However, before she could do anything rash, she heard Eda asking her for assistance.

"Are you alright Edalyn?"

"Yeah, just some bumps, bruises and a dislocated shoulder."

Lilith got more than a little worried at how casually her sister treated a dislocated shoulder as a superficial thing when she literally couldn't use her arm, not only that but resetting her shoulder would hurt worse than a swarm of fire bees. Given that she travelled with this Doctor fellow, she wondered how he dealt with these things.

FIVE HOURS EARLIER

The sound of the cell door opening caught the Doctor's attention, he wondered what the Cybermen could want this time, more torture maybe? In the month and three-ish weeks that he had been in the demon realm, he stumbled upon this little nest of Cybermen before being detained, they had put him through the wringer, though he had been a tough nut to crack 'perhaps they think another round of electro-shock and cyber-mites will get me to break and give the secret to perfecting their "Cyber-witches"' he thought to himself, it wouldn't work his brain would just burn the micro-computers of the cyber-mites. Lackadaisically, he turned to face the door only to see that it wasn't off to the torture room with him, but instead, he had a new cellmate. It was odd seeing his new cellmate, it was as if he was looking into a mirror, an admittedly less handsome and more sleep-deprived mirror, but a mirror nonetheless. Seeing how they would most likely be sharing the same cell for the foreseeable future, the Doctor thought it best to introduce himself.

"Hello, I'm the Doctor, I'm your cellmate who might you be?"

"Alador Blight."

This took the Doctor off guard, so this was Alador Blight: from what he heard, from the locals of the Boiling Isles, he was expecting some stuffy aristocrat or mad scientist-looking fellow. In reality, he was just someone who looked like they needed a fortnight's worth of rest, a fresh shave, ten cups of black coffee and two full English breakfasts.

"So you're responsible for making those weaponized piles of slime I-"

"Abomination goo actually, that's what they're made out of."

"Does it really matter what material is, you're still using it to make weapons. Despite that though, I'm amazed by your skill as an engineer."

Alador's pointed ears perked up, and the hints of a smile began to creak onto his face. Something told the Doctor that Alador didn't get much appreciation for his engineering skills quite a shame really.

"So I assume the Cybermen kidnapped you, no doubt hoping that you'd 'help' them perfect their Cyber-witch project. Am I correct?" the Doctor asked, Alador gave a simple confirming nod.

"I figured as much, in a world predominantly reliant on magic, finding an engineer worth their salt is no doubt difficult to find. Any attempts they make to make Cyberwitches outside of the more organic Cyber-Mondan models tend to self-destruct, something about the bile sac putting out too much energy for their circuitry."

"So they think that an Engineer with experience with both magic and technology might solve their problem," Alador astutely guessed "You seem to be well acquainted with these Cybermen, Doctor?"

"Just the Doctor, thank you very much. And yes, you could say I have an acquaintance with the Cybermen, though it's far from a friendly one: I'm what you would call a consistent thorn in the side for them."

The Doctor began to regale Alador on his many encounters with the Cybermen, which soon transitioned into him explaining things such as the Timelords, regeneration, and the TARDIS. In the back of his mind, he knew he probably shouldn't be divulging this information all at once, let alone in captivity, though when one is trapped in a cell all by themselves- you tend to get very chatty when you have someone to keep a half decent conversation up. Hours went by and as his stories went on, he saw a look of excitement and fascination grow ever increasingly on Alador's face, followed by a good-natured joke about each other sharing a face.

"I suppose it's an honour for a Timelord to share my rugged good looks."

"If by rugged you mean tired then I would concur," the Doctor laughed until a realization clicked in: he and Alador shared a face and had fairly similar "oh Alador you're a genius!" he boldly exclaimed.

"What do you mean?"

"Think Alador, we share a face and similar hair. What do you suppose could happen if we were to swap attires?"

The Doctor saw the pieces begin to click in Alador's mind. They would swap out attires and pose as each other: the Doctor disguised as Alador would put up a fight with the Cybermen to distract them from Alador who would make a run for it. Since Alador would be a higher priority, they'd put more effort into restraining who they would think would be him, while the real Aldor would theoretically be long gone by the time they realized. It was a bit risky given they had differently shaped ears, but both figured it could pay off as long as they covered them up. The two began to switch clothing, and for the most part, it went swimmingly well, though there were questions raised about the Doctor's tattoo that depicted a man transforming into a jaguar, other than that though it went well swimmingly, especially for the Doctor, who was trying to hide his giddiness over Alador's boots fitting him perfectly.

Once the switch had been established, they waited for the Cybermen to open the door to bring one of them to be interrogated. Once the door opened, the Doctor began to get in a scuffle with the Cybermen, in the altercation he was able to disarm one of them. Seeing one of the Cybermen's weapons drop was Alador's cue, he grabbed the Cyber gun and made a mad dash out of the layer of this technological terror. Using the Cyber gun, he was able to decommision a handful of Cyberscouts and make improvised exits. He was at the home stretch, and he was close to escaping into the sewers, but when he opened the door he was "greeted" by two armed Cybermen.
