A/N: Sorry this one is a little late real life got in the way, hope you enjoy :)

Chapter 11

Cody walks through the woods, his package carefully secured beneath his arm. He knew this was the right thing to do, he just knew it.
Unaware of Serrator and Crustor stood above watching him, nor the danger his plan has exposed the bull zord to.

Mike walked into the kitchen and found the others all eating breakfast, but no one was dressed for training. "We not training today?" he asks.
"We need to check on the gap sensors, make sure they're all working and are properly calibrated, boring but with the increased activity we need to be sure," replies Jayden.
"Fun," sighs Mike as he drops a kiss onto Emily's head before sitting down and grabbing some food.
"An unfortunate necessity of the samurai duty" nods Evie as she eats her yoghurt.
"We'll split them up to make it go faster," says Jayden, "Mia, Kevin and Antonio you can take the ones around the North of the city and the forest. Mike and Emily, if you can deal with the stuff to the south including the beach and surrounding area, Evie and I will deal with the main chunk of the city and the outskirts."
"How will we know where they are?" asks Emily.
"We can transfer the co-ordinates to your samuraisers," assures Evie. "It really won't take long with the seven of us."
"If it's got to be done, it's got to be done" nods Antonio, "I'd rather not be surprised."
"Definitely not," agrees Kevin.
"I'm sure we can have some fun along the way," assures Emily looking at Mike.
"Yes you can," murmurs Evie with a smirk, Jayden nudging her and she just chuckles.

They finish up and head out.
"Nice job on the groupings," smiles Evie as they lace their hands together once they've split off from the others.
"I figured Mike might complain less if he had Emily with him, and if I'd put Kevin with Mike, it would've caused problems. Easier to do it the way I did."
"Sure Antonio's feelings won't be hurt you didn't want him?"
"He'll survive," answers Jayden. "At least it will take way less time than it used to."
"Yay for having five other people" agrees Evie, "now how about we have some fun along the way?"
"We have to at least check some first," replies Jayden, "but after that, I'm all for it" he smiles leaning over and kissing her.
Evie laughs and they head for the first sensors.

Emily smiles as she finishes eating her ice cream while they check the sensors, sat on the wall next to it swinging her legs. "My mom never used to let me have ice cream this early."
"Well don't tell or they'll say I'm a bad influence," replies Mike as he stands up and smiles.
Emily giggles, "you kind of are."
"Oh I am, am I?" he asks leaning forwards so his hands were either side of her legs.
"Mhm, you gave my ice cream and it's not even lunchtime, very bad influence" nods Emily with a cheeky smile. "Plus, before I met you, I'd never have even considered this," she adds as she leans up and kisses him.
Mike smiles and kisses her back, one hand moving to her hip the other cupping her face as her arms wrap around his shoulders.
Deciding for once to be the one to push things a little Mike deepens the kiss. The strange contrast of how cold her lips were from the ice cream, somehow not unpleasant.
Emily responding immediately as she pulls him closer, her hand tangling in his hair.
After a few minutes they break it to catch their breath properly and Mike smiles, "if that's where it gets, I'm more than willing to do gap sensor checks."
Emily just giggles, "speaking of we do have a few more to do."
Mike nods and helps her down from the wall before lacing their hands together as they move onto the next sensor.

The seven of them regroup about an hour later.
"Any problems?" asks Jayden.
"None on our end," replies Kevin.
"Nor ours," confirms Mike.
"We were good too. Let's head back," says Jayden.

They arrive back at the house and Ji pops up from behind his tomato plants, "hey guys, how'd it go, any problems?" asks Ji.
"What's with that hat Ji?" laughs Mike as he sees the traditional straw hat Ji was wearing.
"It protects me from the sun," answers Ji.
"So does a baseball camp," snorts Mike.
Emily nudges him pointedly.
"It was fine, no problems, all fully calibrated," assures Jayden as he looks around his face creasing in confusion when he sees the open door.
"Did you leave the door open?" he asks looking at Ji.
"No," replies Ji looking confused.
"If this were a horror movie, this would be the part where the audience starts screaming don't go through the door," notes Mike.
"Then it's a good thing we're not in a horror movie," replies Kevin as they walk up to the door, stepping inside cautiously.
"That's what they say in a horror movie, says Evie.

They walk through to the main room and are surprised to see a kid sat there.
"Hello?" questions Jayden.
The kid jumps up, "oh uh," he frantically wipes away the spot on the table where he'd had his feet. He looks at Jayden his eyes wide and he grabs his bag hugging it to himself like a sort of shield.
"Uh, you must be the red ranger," he says nervously before sticking his hand out.
Jayden shakes it the entire team still eyeing the kid curiously as he reaches into his bag.
"I brought you this," he smiles holding up a white power disk.
"Is that what I think it is?" asks Evie as she looks at it.
"I need you to free the bullzord," says the kid.
"Cody?" asks Ji in surprise as he appears behind them and they separate to let him walk through. "Does your father know you're here?"
"No," admits Cody. "I jumped the fence."
"Cody's family are guardians of the first zord that ever appeared in this world. A bullzord with immense primal power," explains Ji. "Cody's family have been guardians for 300 years," smiles Ji and Cody returns it with a proud smile of his own.
"Wow," murmurs Emily sharing an equally awed look with Mia.

They settle on the stools, Emily perching on Mike's lap given the lack of stools and Evie sitting between Jayden's legs.
"The bullzord came into our world through symbol power. But it went out of control and ravaged the countryside, so the grand shogun sealed it away in a secret location. Only his family know the secret," says Ji.
"The bullzord isn't bad, it just wants to be free," assures Cody, "once I break the seal-" he starts.
"Hold on, you wanna unleash a zord that went on the rampage?" clarifies Kevin.
"He won't do that now. You can control it with this disk," smiles Cody holding it out to Jayden.
"Maybe Cody's right, I mean a new zord and after being trapped for 300 years I'd definitely want out," admits Evie. "Maybe it was just misunderstood or mishandled at the time of its initial imprisonment."
Jayden sighs, "we need to check this out."
"We'll take you home," nods Ji looking at Cody who deflates and Evie's heart breaks a little for him.

Once Ji gave them the directions they were soon setting off.
Evie hanging back to walk with Cody who still looked dejected. "So jumping the fence huh? You make a habit of being an escape artist?"
"Not usually, I just want to free the bullzord, he's lonely and he isn't bad," promises Cody.
"Just misunderstood?" asks Evie.
"Exactly and with the disk, if he does get a little angry then the red ranger can control him and keep him calm," explains Cody. "But no one wants to listen," he sighs.
"I'm listening," says Evie.
"How come since none of the others will?" asks Cody.
"I know a little something about trying to fix broken things, and I am very familiar with how much damage one bad thing can do to something," replies Evie.
"Will you help?" asks Cody.
"I would if I could, but you said it yourself, the zord has to be controlled by the red ranger, I'm the black ranger. I don't have that power," replies Evie. "And despite the fact he might not seem like he'll go on a rampage again to you. Sometimes people see the best in things, and we trick ourselves into believing it's the truth. I just don't want to see anyone get hurt, you included."
"But you're willing to believe that he might not be all bad?" asks Cody hopefully.
"Maybe not all bad," nods Evie and Cody smiles, though as they get closer to his house his expression becomes more pensive and Evie wraps her arm around his shoulders reassuringly.

They reach the house, rounding the side and see an older man chopping wood.
"Excuse me," says Jayden. "Can we talk to you, we're the-" he cuts off by the older man.
"I know who you are. My son went to see you. Why are you hiding at the back of them Cody?" asks his dad.
They separate so Cody can walk through and Evie squeezes his shoulder as he does so, stopping next to Jayden.
"You left without telling me," chides Cody's dad.
"Because I was worried about the bullzord dad," explains Cody. "It doesn't want to be sealed up like that, I can feel it" he adds. "And the red ranger here can help set him free," he smiles.
"No one can control that zord Cody, not even the red ranger" answers his dad. "You've endangered yourself and the rangers, you've put everyone around us at risk, and you've got chores to do," adds his dad firmly.
Cody sighs and walks past him, his entire posture showing defeat.
"I'm sorry you had to come all this way, I'm Johnathan," he apologises looking at the rangers.
Evie sighs as she watches Cody go, something told her, he wasn't about to let this go.
"Come inside, you can have some tea before you head back?" offers Johnathan.

The others nod and follow him inside while Evie slips off to look for Cody.
As she looks for him, she sees a figure disappearing into the forest.
"Jumping the fence again, are we?" says Evie, she glances back at the house but knew she would lose sight of Cody if she didn't go now.
"Sorry Jayden," she murmurs as she jumps the fence and jogs after him.

The other six were looking at the scroll when Jayden looked around, "where's Evie?" he asks.
"She didn't come in with us she said she was going to talk to Cody," says Mia.
Johnathan moves around them and does a quick check, "Cody's gone," he realises.
"And I'll just bet Evie went after him. Damn it," mutters Jayden.
"Why wouldn't she tell us first?" asks Kevin, "what does she think she can do, she's usually the most suspicious?"
"Not when you get her in her weak spot she isn't," replies Jayden.
"What do you mean?" asks Antonio.
"Who out of all of us knows exactly how much one bad thing can change you, it's why she was more willing to listen to Cody, she can empathise with someone being misunderstood for one bad action," explains Jayden.
"But Evie didn't go on a rampage and destroy half the countryside," reminds Mike.
"Evie did her own equivalent when we were 11, started a colossal fight while we were in elementary. One of the other kids overheard two of the teachers discussing Nia, and he told all the other kids about it. And unsurprisingly they started picking on her with it. Evie snapped, badly. Six kids in the hospital, two with broken bones. Afterwards she overheard the principal talking with Ji, and she said that while it might not have been Evie's fault what Nia did. Sometimes bad blood is hereditary, and Evie might never be able to function normally because of it, and she wasn't welcome back at the school because she was a menace. Ji started home-schooling us after that, and obviously made it clear Evie wasn't allowed to use her samurai skills on other people, no TV, no books, nothing but training, drills and chores," explains Jayden.
"But Evie assumed that Ji agreed with the principal," guesses Mike.
"Yep, which means she might actually be willing to listen to Cody about the bullzord. Or at the very least might not stop him fast enough," nods Jayden.
"Then we're in a lot of trouble if you're right," says Kevin.

Evie followed Cody up the mountain, unaware both of them were being tailed by a Nighlok.
She followed Cody into the cave and soon heard him talking, much as she wanted to believe he was right, she knew this was not how to go about it and stepped inside.
"Cody don't," she calls and her eyes widen when she sees him stood next to the seal half the symbol already drawn.
"He deserves to be free, he's misunderstood like you said," says Cody.
"That might be true, but it also might not be Cody. And much as I know you want to help, you're not a ranger, the power disk needs to be used by one to be harnessed properly. The bullzord might not mean to hurt you but he could. Please put the brush down," pleads Evie.
"He isn't bad, maybe he was bad before, but now he wants to get out. He wants to be free and I can control him, I can make him not be bad," assures Cody.
"You might think that Cody, but it might not be true, he's not an ordinary zord. He could hurt people without even meaning too, please Cody don't do this.
I know you feel like no one will listen, but I will listen, I'm here, right now, willing to listen. But you cannot just unleash him like this, we need to prepare Jayden needs chance to use the disk and figure out how it works. You can't do this alone," warns Evie.
"Grownups never believe kids know anything, he deserves to be free."
"I understand you might have a special connection to him, just like I do with my zord. I believe that Cody, I do, but even that special connection might not be enough. He's a completely unknown entity and he's been locked away for a long time, in the excitement he might do something he doesn't mean too. But this is not the way Cody, you cannot just let him out with a promise you didn't get back, you have no assurances from him," reasons Evie.
"You said you understood but you don't, I'll prove that I'm right, I'll prove it!" yells Cody as he turns and finishes the symbol, "release!" he shouts at the same moment.

Evie throws herself forwards but she's too late and seal smashes.
The entire room lights up and the pedestal in the middle begins to glow.
"Yes, it worked, come on your free now," smiles Cody, "see I told you he wouldn't hurt anyone." The room instantly beginning to shake.
Evie pulls Cody into her arms as she looks around pulling her samuraiser out of her pocket but the shaking intensifies and they're both thrown to the ground, Cody landing on top of Evie, her head hitting the ground and her samuraiser falling out of her hands as the room continues to shake.
Cody sits up and smiles, "it worked," he beams, "see I told you it would work."
Evie rubs her head and turns reaching for her samuraiser, her head already starting to ache.
Cody meanwhile pulls out the disk and walks over to the console, "this will give you all your powers back," he thinks with a smile as he lines it up.
"Cody no!" shouts Evie as he slides it into place and the entire thing starts to glow.
"Don't worry I just need to draw the symbol power," assures Cody as he goes to do so but the bullzord takes off sending Evie back to the floor.
"The symbol will calm him down," promises Cody he draws it and sends it at the console but it just shatters uselessly.
Evie scrambles to her feet and grabs Cody shielding him from the blast as their both thrown across the floor Evie's already injured head hitting the floor and she groans tasting blood in her mouth.
"Why didn't it work, why won't it stop?" asks Cody starting to panic.
"Its powerful and now its free and it doesn't want to be contained," groans Evie as she tries to flick open her samuraiser but realises its been knocked from her hands again.
"Cody help me find my samuraiser and maybe I can stop this bullzord," she urges as she pulls herself and instantly resists the urge to vomit as nausea overtakes her and she leans heavily against the wall.

Jayden flicks open his samuraiser, "Evie, come on Evie answer me," he pleads but gets nothing in response.
"What if she's hurt?" asks Emily in concern.
"Or worse, what if she's in that thing?" asks Mike.
"No one can take it and now no one can stop it," realises Johnathan.
"We're not about to let it rampage," assures Jayden, "let's just hope Evie figures something out" he adds as they morph and charge forwards, though the ache in his head was sending his worry levels through the roof cause it meant Evie was injured.

Evie spits the blood out of her mouth and tries to move but the speed the bullzord is moving at causes her to cling onto the wall her slightly blurry vision scanning for her samuraiser.
"Bullzord, stop," pleads Cody, "bullzord why won't you listen to me?" he cries.
"He can't hear you Cody, and if he can he isn't listening," replies Evie as she spots her samuraiser and dropping onto all fours crawls over to it and picks it up. "Go, go samurai," she calls and morphs knowing she had a better chance in her ranger form than she did without it.
"Cody that symbol you cast, what was it?" asks Evie.

But Cody was still trying to reason with the bullzord.
"Cody, I need that symbol!" shouts Evie.
"It was meant to calm him down, he promised he'd listen to me," cries Cody.
"I'm sorry Cody," says Evie crouching down in front of him.
"What have I done?" asks Cody as the shaking becomes worse.
"We're being hit by something, oh god the Nighloks must've realised what we've released, they'll want its power," she guesses, flipping open her samuraiser she calls Jayden.
"Evie?" he asks.
"I'm here, we're in the bullzord, but it's being attacked, I think the Nighloks have been lurking again. The bullzord isn't listening and it can't see a traditional console for me to try and take control of it," explains Evie.
"Do what you can, we're on our way," assures Jayden.
"Hurry, we can't let the Nighloks have it," pleads Evie, grabbing onto what clearly passed as the console she pulled herself up and thinking back she draws the same symbol Cody tried to use but again it shatters off it uselessly and she swings to the side to avoid the blast.

"Evie the moogers are trying to lasso the bullzord," warns Jayden.
Evie sighs, "look, okay I get that you are pissed, being locked up for 300 years I would be too. And I know you don't want to submit again because of what happened the last time. But those Nighlok are going to do worse than the Shogun or the samurai ever did. Please, I need you to work with me here, if they take you, they get Cody too and I cannot believe that its all been in his head. Please let me help you" tries Evie.
"You won't have to be imprisoned again if you just listen to me, I know how you feel okay. I know what it feels like for people to judge you for one bad thing, for it to follow you and have you be judged by it. I get that, I do, but this is the chance to prove them wrong. Prove them wrong, show them that Cody was right, I get the betrayal, I do. But don't let the Shoguns be right bullzord, let me help you and together, we can work as team. And you will never need to be locked up again," pleads Evie.
They're thrown about some more and Evie assumes that the bullzord has broken free.

"We're trying to stop it Evie, but its charging," warns Jayden.
"Listen to me, please, don't attack them. You are the original zord, don't hurt my team, don't hurt Cody's friends. Come on listen to Cody, I can't believe it was all in his head," begs Evie but when she thrown backwards, she knows it hasn't worked.
"You're not a mindless beast, you're not some primal monster with no coherent thought. Be more than what history has assumed, be what Cody believes you are!"

They're thrown about and Evie watches in horror as the bullzord continues to attack the megazord and it was obviously winning.
Before she can try again the bullzord takes off.
"Jayden I'm not getting anywhere with this thing," calls Evie.
"We can't stop it," realises Jayden as the megazord is thrown to the floor.
"No, Jayden!" she shouts as she sees them go down and the bullzord takes off and her samuraiser is knocked from her hands landing hard against the wall.
"What have I done? I thought I could get it to listen to me, but now it won't stop," cries Cody.
The bullzord eventually stops, but neither of them had any clue how to control it.
Evie just sighs and pulls him into her arms as they sit on the ground and she powers down looking at her samuraiser and trying to call the others, but gets nothing. Probably damaged from the bashing it had taken, and she didn't know how to fix it.
"The others will find us, I'll get you home Cody. I promise," soothes Evie.
"Just do me one favour," she murmurs.
"What?" he asks.
"Don't let me sleep," she answers, the pain in her head was intensifying and her vision was definitely blurry. She'd bet herself $50 she actually had a concussion this time.

Jayden and the others returned to Cody's house with a sigh.
"We tried to get to Cody but the zord escaped," says Jayden.
"We'll find him, we can find Evie and if we find her, we'll find the zord," assures Mia.
"He should've listened to me," sighs Johnathan. "I'm so worried about him."
"Evie will keep him safe; she won't let any harm come to him, not from the zord or the Nighlok" promises Jayden.
"Yeah that girl doesn't know how to fail" assures Mike.
"We'll send the zords out to find the bullzord, and I'll work on finding Evie," assures Jayden.
They send the zords out and then Jayden settles in the garden drawing the symbol he focuses on Evie and trying to find her given they were getting nothing from her samuraiser.

"Do you think it was all in my head?" asks Cody quietly as he leans against Evie.
"No Cody, I don't think it was all in your head, your family have been with the bullzord since the beginning. You've been talking to it for years, and our zords are very intelligent, I know mine understands me," assures Evie. "Maybe he's just getting a taste of his newfound freedom."
"You don't really think that, though, do you?" he guesses.
Evie sighs, "you're a smart kid Cody, honestly, I have no idea what the bullzord is thinking, or doing, or planning or what. He's the first, wild and primal, a complete unknown. But the bond you have with it is real."
"I'm sorry I got you into this mess, I'm sorry for everything," murmurs Cody.
"Not your fault, you were trying to do what you thought was best, and there is nothing wrong with having compassion for something else" soothes Evie.
"But next time Cody, sometimes adults do know more than the kids and despite what you believe, even if you believe it with every fibre of your being. You can't just run off on your own when there is this much at stake."
"I thought he would listen to me."
"And maybe in time he will, but for now we just need to wait for the others to find us, and we'll get you home to your dad," promises Evie.
"How do you know they'll find us?" asks Cody.
"You've heard of the ancient bonds the samurais could sometimes have right?" asks Evie.
Cody nods.
"Well Jayden, the red ranger and I both have that with each other. He'll find me, we always find each other. And they'll be out looking, we'll get through this, one way or another," smiles Evie as she draws a quickly symbol and a bottle of water appears, she does the same thing again and hands one to Cody. At the very least she could still morph and create symbols, it just seemed to be communications function that had gone haywire in it.

As morning rolled in Cody started trying to talk to the bullzord again and Evie found her headache was steadily getting worse. She leaned against the wall the shadows it created covering her slightly. It needed a serious clean up in here.
"Please listen to me," begs Cody, "you wanted to be free, but if you don't stop now, they'll seal you away again, only this time it will be forever."

"Your times up guardian," warns the Nighlok as he appears and Evie's eyes widen pulling her sword, she slips behind him.
"I'm taking the bullzord and I'll use it to destroy your world," he warns.
"Not happening ugly," answers Evie as she slices across his back and he's thrown forwards, "and you're not touching the kid," she adds as she pulls out her samuraiser and morphs.
"I concur," agrees Jayden as he appears.
"Jayden" smiles Evie.
"I'm here," he assures and attacks the Nighlok while Evie pulls Cody out of the way, but the cockpit immediately begins to shake.
"Oh no he's running wild again," realises Cody.
Evie jumps into the fight with Jayden, but given the close quarters it was hard.
"He's heading for the cliffs!" yells Cody his eyes wide.
Jayden and Evie send the Nighlok flying into the wall.
"Your father gave me this Cody, he believes in you," says Jayden as he hands over the disk.
"It wasn't in your head Cody, you believed it, now make it true," urges Evie.
"Believe in yourself, and use your symbol power," agrees Jayden as he and Evie take on the Nighlok again.
Cody moves over to the console and swaps out the disks. He draws the symbol but again it shatters uselessly, "It's not working."
"Don't give up Cody, show this zord who is boss, you can do this," promises Jayden.
Cody nods and draws the symbol again but the same thing happens.
"Its still not working!" he shouts.
"Concentrate, you've got this, focus on your bond, take control Cody. Prove you were right," says Evie as Jayden powers up super samurai mode.
Cody draws the symbol once more just as Jayden and Evie send the Nighlok flying out of the cockpit as he explodes and they go over the cliffs.
"Do it now," says Jayden.
Cody sends the symbol and this time it works and the bullzord flies up getting them out of harm's way.

Cody pulls out the new disk and smiles.
"You did it Cody," smiles Evie as she hugs him, "told you, you could."
"Thank you," he says hugging her back.
"You tamed him," nods Jayden.
"We did," corrects Cody as he holds out the disk to Evie who smiles, "thanks Cody, but you said it yourself, this goes to the red ranger," she says.
"But you helped, he listened to you too. And you were the one who said that I had to prove I was right," says Cody.
"Sounds like something you'd say," smiles Jayden looking at his girlfriend.
"You know how I feel about proving a point," answers Evie, "give it to Jayden Cody."
Cody nods and holds out the disk to Jayden.
"Are you sure?" he asks looking at Evie.
"We can add it to your collection, did you miss the primal power part. I'm usually one for a little more elegance," replies Evie with a nod which she instantly regrets.
Jayden slides the disk into the black box, "now let's see what this can do," he says and spins it.

A moment later a projection appears.
"Wow," murmurs Evie.
"The Grand Shogun," realises Jayden.
"Awesome" nods Cody.
"You have summoned the power of your ancestors. Now and forever, our power is your power," says the Shogun and Cody drops to the floor as it disappears.
Evie catches him and crouches down next to him, "you did great Cody, now we'll take it from here."
"This is our monster to deal with, it's time for you to go" nods Jayden as he looks at the Nighlok now in its second life.
Evie helps Cody up but stumbles herself.
"How bad?" asks Jayden as he steadies her.
"Pretty sure I have a concussion," admits Evie.
"Go, I've got this," assures Jayden.
"I know you do," smiles Evie, "come on Cody lets get out of here," she says as the two of them exit the cockpit and she sends him back to the house while she re-joins the others.

"Jayden and the bull megazord are about to clean house," cheers Antonio.
"He had a little help," reminds Evie as she walks up to them.
"You're okay," smiles Emily as she hugs her.
"Okay might not be strictly accurate, but I'll live," assures Evie as she powers down and stumbles, Mike catching her. "Someone's been a busy girl," he smiles.
"Come here," urges Kevin as he helps her sit down, and quickly draws the symbol for heal.
Evie smiles in relief as the ache in her head lessens.
"You're good at those Kev," she compliments.
"Well with you, Emily and Mike around, figured I should be," he smiles.
Evie chuckles as the six of them watch the fight and the bullzord takes down the Nighlok with ease.

They return to the house to say goodbye.
They meet Cody and Johnathan at the door, "we wanted to say good-bye before heading off" smiles Mike as he and Cody fist bump.
"Thanks to you we have a new weapon to fight the Nighlok with," smiles Kevin.
"And you can go back to a normal life," nods Mia.
"As if, I want to help you guys some more," answers Cody. "I got some great ideas-" he starts.
"Hey, easy Cody, you've had enough action for a while, we'll see you again though. Of that I have no doubt," smiles Evie.
Cody smiles and hugs her, "thank you, for everything, for believing me and for helping me."
"No problem," smiles Evie as she hugs him back, "but remember what I said, you might believe it, but don't take any more risks like that one."
Cody just hugs her again and Evie chuckles.
"We'll call on you again," agrees Jayden as Evie steps back and Jayden wraps his arm around her given her current concussion.
Cody nods and with final waves goodbye they head home.

Later that night Evie sat in the garden looking up at the moon.
"How's your head?" asks Mia as she walks over to her.
"I'll live as per usual," answers Evie, "I'm sorry about going after Cody without telling you guys."
"You were trying to do what was best, and you were right, we have the bullzord because of you and Cody," assures Mia.
"I didn't do much."
"You were willing to believe, and that mattered to Cody."
Evie smiles, "thanks" she says.
Mia bites her lip before looking at Evie, "I don't know if you know, Jayden told us, why you were willing to believe."
"He told me," nods Evie.
"I'm sorry they did that to you, or that the principal said it was bad blood."
"Kids will be kids, we're little shits when we want to be, As for the principal, well she'd entitled to her own BS opinion," answers Evie with a shrug.
"You're definitely not a bad person though you can be a menace when someone pisses you off," teases Mia.
"Can't we all," counters Evie with a smile.
"You were right to listen to Cody though, and you kept him safe, and you being there made it much easier to track."
"Nice to know I did my part," replies Evie.
"You did, and here, Antonio gave this to me" she says pulling out Evie's samuraiser and handing it over.
"Thanks" she says.
"You're going to make a good mom you know" notes Mia.
"Where did that come from?" asks Evie looking at her.
"Seeing how you were with Cody, and Em and even Mike and Antonio. You'll be a good mom; I can see it."
"Let's hope I'm better than mine" snorts Evie.
"You will be, I know it," assures Mia as she hugs her.
