A/N: So here we go, back to an episode we all know, and I personally find incredibly funny. Hope you enjoy :)

Chapter 28

Mike took a bite of his apple before turning to Kevin with a smirk as an idea forms in his head.
Kevin was training while he'd sort of been dawdling.
Kevin notes his expression.
"Bet I can beat you using only one arm," says Mike.
Kevin just rolls his eyes and smirks as he moves into position and immediately attacks.
Mike blocked it and took a bite before Kevin spun and knocked his sword down, and Mike stumbled forwards, off balance. He spun and Kevin knocked the sword out of his hands.
As Mike straightened up and found the blade of Kevin's sword against his throat.
Mike smirked and stabbed the apple onto the end of Kevin's sword, who looks at it in confusion.
In response Mike picked his sword up with his foot, kicking it into his hand and this time Kevin found the sword levelled at his throat.
"Ha, I win, and you got served," smirks Mike.
"That doesn't count," protests Kevin.

Mike smirks and walks past him, "Hey I can't compete with you on technique. So, I have to outwit you. Like Evie says, got to find another way," replies Mike taking a sip of his water.
"Was that a compliment?" asks Kevin with a smile.
"Me? Compliment you? Ha! No way," scoffs Mike putting the glass down.

Jayden shook his head and looked at the two of them.
"If the two of you could learn to work together, as well as you compete against each other. You'd both be twice as strong."
Before either can respond the gap sensor goes off.

Jayden's face instantly becomes uneasy; it was time to see just how well Antonio's extra protection held up against an actual Nighlok.
He runs inside missing Mike's jab and shove at Kevin.
"You ready for this?" he asks looking at Evie.
Evie smiles and pulls out her samuraiser, "I think I am."
"Let's go" says Jayden as they turn and race out of the house.

As they arrive in the city, they see the damage that the Nighlok has already wrought and hear him telling people to run.
Kevin uses his hydro bow to get the Nighloks attention.
"You're the one who should run," warns Jayden.
"You know there's explosions and misery. Such a nice day. Then you show up to wreck it. But I Epoxar will wreck you instead," answers Epoxar as he sends a blast at them.
Jayden switches to his fire smasher using it to block the others.
"Come on Mike," says Kevin as the two flip forwards immediately attacking Epoxar.
"Hey your moves aren't half bad," says Epoxar as he counters them, "They're all bad," he cackles landing hits on both of them.
"And here's a move that'll really flip ya," he adds throwing Kevin over his head, and Kevin lands on the floor with a groan, Mike stepping in front of him.
"You watch, together we'll shut you down quick," retorts Mike pulling Kevin up.
"Right," agrees Kevin.
"Together, huh? What a good idea," cackles Epoxar as he shoots his glue at them, and it wraps around their wrists, linking the two of them together.
"What in the world is this?" asks Kevin as they start to pull.
"Get it off," orders Mike also pulling at it.
"We're stuck," realises Mike.

The other four's eyes widen at that.
"Looks like you're in a real sticky situation," snorts Epoxar.
"Back off!" shouts Jayden as the four of them run forwards.
"You back off!" retorts Epoxar as he turns and blasts them, it was glancing blow, but they four of them hit the floor none the less.
"Now to finish my handiwork," says Epoxar as he turns back to Mike and Kevin and glues their other wrists together.
"Oh not the other one too," groans Mike.
"Hey don't pull so hard," protests Kevin as the two try and tug themselves apart.
"Quit pulling," says Mike.
"You're pulling," argues Kevin.

Epoxar laughs as he watches them, while the other pull themselves up and just look at them in confusion, it was a really, really weird sight.
"Struggle all you want, but as long as I'm around, you'll be stuck like that forever" Epoxar cackles.
"What, forever?" they both ask.
"Not happening," answers Evie.
"And you're next," retorts Epoxar as he turns on them.
"Not so fast!" yells Antonio as he appears with the Light Zord, "Gotcha," he smirks as he attacks.
Epoxar is thrown backwards and Antonio hits him with the scattershot.
"I'm not sticking around for this," groans Epoxar as he disappears through a gap.
"No come back!" yells Mike as he and Kevin continue to struggle and it topples the two of them over.

They power down as both continue to struggle, before managing to pull themselves up.
"Are you guys, okay?" asks Mia.
"Did you hear what he said, unless we defeat him, we're stuck like this, forever," says Mike.
"Forever," groans Kevin.

They get back to the house and fill Ji in on the situation.
"You could try cutting it off?" offers Evie.
"And take our hands in the process?" asks Kevin.
"No dummy, this isn't Star Wars. I mean cut through the glue," retorts Evie.
"I can give it a try?" offers Jayden.
"Worth a shot," nods Emily, not wanting her boyfriend stuck to Kevin for the rest of their lives.

They sit down and hold their arms steady.
"Ready?" asks Jayden.
"Ready as we'll ever be," nods Mike.
Both he and Kevin grimace as Jayden brings his sword down, but it just bounces back, throwing Jayden onto the stool behind him.
"Well that didn't work," notes Evie rubbing her back absently.
"Are you okay?" asks Jayden.
Evie looks at him in confusion and then realises, "I'm fine, didn't even feel it, Antonio did an excellent job."
"As if I would let anything happen to you and the baby, it would make me a terrible godfather," smiles Antonio.
"Wow, nuh uh dude, that title is mine," retorts Mike.
"I think not buddy, I'm going to be this kids god father."
"Not happening, I'm going to be the godfather.".
"I'm Jayden's best friend."
"And Evie loves me like I'm her brother."

"I think we've got bigger problems than who's going to be the babies godfather," interrupts Kevin with a sigh, "I'm sorry guys."
"You didn't do anything wrong," promises Emily kneeling down next to them.
"We let that Nighlok get away" argues Kevin.
"And we could be like this forever," adds Mike a note of panic in his voice.
"We'll fix this, as soon as the Nighlok comes back," promises Mia.
"And what if he doesn't? Then what?" demands Mike.

Everyone looks uneasy at that thought.
"He'll come back. They always do," assures Jayden.
"And when he does, you two will be in no condition to face him," warns Ji looking at Mike and Kevin.
"What?" demands Kevin.
"No," protests Mike.
"He's right the rest of us will have to handle it," nods Jayden though he didn't like the idea, because it put Evie that much closer to danger.
"No, we won't let down the team again," argues Kevin, "You need us." he glances at Evie. "We will learn to fight like this."
"All right let's do this" nods Mike as they manage to make it to their feet and stumble outside.
"Now this should be interesting" notes Antonio as the others follow, "And about the godfather thing, it's me right?" he asks.
"Not now Antonio," replies Jayden.

The others all settle outside, Mia standing opposite them to give them an opponent.
Evie appearing a minute later with popcorn.
Jayden gives her a reproachful look, "Not helping Evie."
Evie just shrugs, "Pregnancy craving," she smiles as she eats a piece.
"You're going to be playing that for the next seven and a half months aren't you?" asks Emily with a giggle.
"Might as well make use of it, before you know, I balloon to size of a plough horse, no longer fit into any of my clothes, have about as much grace as an elephant on ice skates, and my boyfriend ceases to find me even remotely attractive," retorts Evie.
Jayden wraps his arm around her, "I could never not find you attractive."
"Talk to me in four months' time when I'm actually showing."
Opting not to start what he knows will be a losing argument Jayden returns his focus to Mike and Kevin.

"Okay let's start with a basic kesi-giri," says Kevin, one of the swords now held in both their hands.
They both brought their arms up and tried to bring the sword down, but mistime it, and Mike steps hard on Kevin's foot causing him to yelp in pain.
"You pulled me that way," argues Mike.
Kevin huffs and they re-centre again, "Come on Mike focus."
Mike rolls his eyes and Mia launches a basic attack, but once again their co-ordination is off and Mia easily hits Mike on the ass causing him to groan in pain as well.

He looks at Kevin, "That was your fault, you keep pulling me around," he snaps.
"Come on left to right, left to right," retorts Kevin.
"I was doing that," protests Mike.
Evie pops a piece of popcorn into her mouth and wordlessly offers some to Jayden who takes it, and even Emily grabs a piece. Much as she knew Mike hated this, it was a little funny.
"You went the other way," argues Kevin.
Emily sits down next to Antonio as Jayden walks forwards, Evie settling next to them as well.

"This is awful," sighs Emily.
"But hilarious," snorts Evie handing the popcorn to Antonio who takes some.
"I know you guys can pull this off. But first, you have to get in sync," explains Jayden.
"Tell that to this guy," retorts Mike as he pulls back hard and Kevin is thrown off balance, landing on the floor and pulling Mike down with him.
Jayden shakes his head and kneels down next to them, "You guys think you're fighting that glue, but you're really fighting yourselves more" he warns before standing back up.
Mike and Kevin glare at each other before huffing.

They try symbol power next, and that doesn't go well either.
Mia and Emily both watching as they struggle before having to intervene when it reached a ridiculous point.
"Guys stop," orders Mia.
"I know it's hard, but fighting isn't going to solve anything," points out Emily.
Kevin just sighs, "Come on there must be something around here we can do to be useful," he says as he drags Mike off.
Emily and Mia share a look, "this is not going to end well is it?" asks Emily.
"No, they're already on edge with each other, this is going to be harder before it gets easier."
"Why couldn't it have been Jayden and Evie who got stuck, I bet they'd have this sorted in a second."
"Yep, but they've known each other and training together for 12 years, have been in a relationship for four years, have a samurai bond. And right now I think Jayden would like nothing better than to be able to glue himself to Evie every time we go up against a Nighlok," replies Mia.
"True enough."

A little while later they've grabbed the trash bag and are attempting to take it out, until it breaks under their pushing and shoving and Mike slips on a banana peel taking both of them to the ground painfully. One of the lamps crashing to the floor behind them as well.
Ji walks in drawn by the commotion, "What is going on in here? What is wrong with you?" he asks in a huff as he sees the mess.
"We were just trying to help out," explains Kevin.
"Yeah," nods Mike.

"If you can't fight the Nighlok together, then make yourselves useful. Go, get some groceries" suggests Ji wanting them out of the house.
"Got it," nods Mike.
"Sorry Mentor," apologises Kevin.
They make it out of the house only for Mike to stop, "Dude, how can we be rangers if we can't even take out the trash?"
Kevin just shrugs and they turn to leave and promptly fall down the step.
Pulling themselves up they make it into the city, but soon start attracting looks.

"We look way weird Kevin," says Mike.
"I know, but we've got to make this work," answers Kevin.
"It's a school project" calls Mike to onlookers, then decides to have some fun with it, "What, we're just practising the waltz," he smiles.
"A waltz?" asks Kevin in horror as Mike takes his hands and starts dragging him around in a dance causing everyone to laugh.
"What are you doing?" demands Kevin, "We're not dancing the waltz."
"Foxtrot," smiles Mike as he starts dancing again but Kevin stops.
"Mike just come on," huffs Kevin pulling Mike with him.

They make it through the shop and out the door with the bags.
"Wait hold up, let me put this change in my pocket."
Mike's eyes widen in horror as his hand is pulled way closer to parts of Kevin than he ever wanted to be.
"Dude what are you doing?" cries Mike pulling back sharply, knocking the change out of Kevin's hand and one of the baguettes to come out of the bag before both land on the floor.
"I'm sorry," sighs Kevin.
"Forget it" replies Mike. "We have bigger things to worry about, like how we're going to get these things home" he adds sitting up, then his gaze lands on the trolleys.
They decide to switch, one of them in the trolley with the groceries, the other pushing. And Kevin ends up going first, which he soon regrets as he has to push Mike, the trolley and the bags up a hill in the park.
"You know Mike I got to say-" starts Kevin.
"If you're going to ask to switch places, forget it."
"No I was just going to tell you how impressed I am with this idea. You're always so creative," replies Kevin and he meant it, hard work as it was, it was easier than the two of them walking.
"Oh, I have to be I don't have your mad skills. It's like Evie says, you got to get creative," says Mike.
"Hey was that a compliment?" teases Kevin.
"You tricked me," retorts Mike with a smile.

Kevin stops suddenly and looks around.
"What?" asks Mike.
"I drank a lot of juice this morning," replies Kevin eyeing the public toilet.
Mike follows his gaze and shudders, "Now tell me you're just kidding me" he pleads, but Kevin steers them over anyway, because he was not kidding.
"No, not that bathroom," pleads Mike, he was so going to kill this Nighlok when he got the chance.

They were soon heading back through the park, Mike and Kevin both thoroughly traumatised by the very awkward experience.
"Why couldn't this have happened to anyone else?" laments Mike.
"Like who?" asks Kevin.
"Evie and Jayden, I'm sure they'd love to be glued together, practically are half the time anyway. And they already work as an awesome team," adds Mike, "Or me and Em, I'd like being glued to Em."
"Please don't, hearing that is like hearing you talk about dating my little sister," shudders Kevin.
"Jayden's not a baby about it, hell dude's been pretty helpful actually, though Evie's been more use.".
"You talk to Evie about you and Emily?" asks Kevin.
"Yeah, Em talks to her too. I mean who better to model your relationship after than those two. Even if the scales are a little different, and please do not pull the big brother thing on me. Antonio already yelled at me when the girls all came home with Victoria Secret bags. And Jayden told me he'd hurt me if I messed it up with Em. And Evie too. You know what go ahead just add your thoughts to the pile. But for the record Evie also told me that she trusts me with Em. And I do care about her, I care about her a lot, and believe me I have left her firmly in the driver's seat," explains Mike.
"You have?" asks Kevin.
"Yes, like I said Emily means more to me than either of my ex's did. I'm not pushing her into anything."
"That's really good of you Mike, I didn't expect you to be the patient one" admits Kevin.
"Well I am."
"You really do care about Em, don't you."
"I do, I care about her more than I can say, it's only been a few months I know. But yeah, this is different," admits Mike with a smile.
"I felt like that with Alyssa, I knew she was special."
"How?" asks Mike.
"Just how I felt when I was with her. She made me smile, pulled my head out of my ass, made me go out, have fun. She was like a breath of fresh air, or a raging storm depending on her mood. Even now, she managed to thoroughly, explain things, chastise me and comfort me all in the space of a single conversation after I found out about Evie."
"Just over the phone?"
"Yeah, just over the phone," smiles Kevin.
"It's good that you got to tell her the truth."
"I am really glad it's all out in the open now" admits Kevin, "Not having to hide things anymore, just being able to talk openly. It feels good, make things feel even stronger than they did the first time. It was one thing I envied Evie and Jayden and you and Emily. The fact you didn't have to lie or keep secrets from each other."
"But it is a two-edged sword."
"Because it means you have to watch them literally run towards danger," guesses Kevin.
"I hate it you know, sometimes I just wanna pick Emily up, and take her far, far away from the Nighloks."
"You never seem to get too over protective, at least no more than the rest of us."
"I talked it through with Jayden actually, he said I'm never going to like it. He hates it and we all know Evie's one of the best fighters on the team, but despite how much we hate it. We have to respect the fact they can take care of themselves, and be supportive without smothering."
"That's a really good way of putting it."
"I thought so, though how he's going to do with that now, well let's just say I've got money on Evie actually kicking his ass a few times."
Kevin laughs as well, he could definitely see that happening, but then he stops sharply.

"What again?" asks Mike in concern, he could not deal with another bathroom break again.
"Look," replies Kevin and Mike turns in time to see the other five running ahead of them.
"Let's hit it," says Mike and Kevin nods rushing after them, neither of them wanted to let their team down.

The five of them morph just as they reach the area where the Nighlok was.
"Hey Epoxar, we've got unfinished business you and I!" shouts Antonio.
"Oh I'll finish you alright," says Epoxar though he smirks internally, they were headed right for his trap.
"Wrong, you got us mad," retorts Emily.
"And when we get mad, you get gone," adds Mia.
"Well then, catch me if you can," taunts Epoxar as he turns and runs.
"Coward!" shouts Antonio as they give chase.
"Come on," urges Epoxar and Evie realises what's happening.
"No wait!" she shouts but it's too late and the five of them find themselves stuck in the glue.
"Shit," swears Evie.
"We're stuck in his glue," realises Mia as they try and pull free.
"He tricked us," groans Antonio.
"And we fell right into it," mutters Evie.

"I sure did, haha" laughs Epoxar. "You literally fell right into my trap," he smirks sitting down, "Do you have to work so hard at being so dense, sorry black ranger but you were just a little too slow," he taunts before standing up, "Now to quicken the paste," he adds as he shoots more glue at them and it begins to engulf them.
"Mia can you get off me," pleads Antonio.
"Don't you think I'd like to," retorts Mia. "I'm not doing this on purpose."
"Stay calm guys," urges Emily.
"Damn it, Antonio what the hell is you hand doing on my ass?" demands Evie.
"I'm sorry I swear I didn't mean for it to end up there, seriously I didn't," replies Antonio trying to pry his hand away. "Dude, you can't kill me, I swear if I could move my hand I would," promises Antonio glancing at Jayden.
"Oh god please tell me that's Evie I'm stuck to," begs Emily as she finds a hand now stuck on a thigh.
"Nope, that's me," replies Jayden.
"I'm sorry," grimaces Emily.
"Now that's funny," gloats Epoxar as he watches them struggle.

Mike and Kevin stop on the bridge above and Mike jumps out of the trolley.
"They're completely stuck," realises Mike.
"And we're the only ones who can stop him now."
"But Kev how can we fight like this?" asks Mike looking at their wrists still glued together, but then he thinks back to what Jayden said about getting in sync and an idea forms.
"Kevin, I have to ask you a favour," says Mike looking at him.
"What?"
"I can't keep up with your technique, you're too good" admits Mike, "Would you be willing to lower yourself a notch so we could be in sync?" asks Mike, and it was easier than he thought it would be to openly admit that fact.
"Well in a situation like this, we'll need your creative mind," replies Kevin, "I'd rather follow your lead and match your moves. Mike I'm putting my faith in you cause I know you'll deliver," smiles Kevin knowing full well this situation wouldn't require technique, but creativity.
Mike smiles back, the fact Kevin was willing to trust him, it meant a lot.
"So, what do you say?"
"Wow Kev, you're actually a better guy than I thought, and it's nice to see that stick get dislodged from your ass. And yes, that was a compliment" smiles Mike, "Now let's do this."

"Stick around, you've got a great view to watch me destroy the city," cackles Epoxar patting Jayden's head before turning to attack more people.
"It's just glue and me," he smirks.
"Let's go," says Mike as he and Kevin charges forwards and throw the trolley in front of the people.
"Huh?" Epoxar turns.
"Not if we've got anything to say about it," says Mike.
"How dare you interfere with my fun!" snaps Epoxar when he sees the two of them.
"Playtimes over Nighlok," nods Mike.
"Oh yeah? And just who are you two jokers?" smirks Epoxar.
"Watch and see," answers Kevin as they both morph each using a different hand.
"Time to take him down with your technique," says Mike.
"And your imagination," nods Kevin.
"This is the best joke yet," laughs Epoxar.
"Alright Mike, lets show him what this team can do."
"Follow me," smiles Mike as they charge forwards, Kevin watching Mike for his cues.

They dodge his glue and land a double kick to his chest, sending him stumbling.
"One little chorus line kick won't stop me," retorts Epoxar as he attacks with his staff, but the two of them counter with rapid jabs.
Each one calling out the movements as they worked together to deal blow, after blow against Epoxar, using the fact they were stuck together to actually aid their moves, before pulling their swords..
"Quit dancing and fight," demands Epoxar getting annoyed as he blasts them.
"If this is a dance, then you won't mind if we cut in," says Kevin blocking one hit.
"Time for this Nighloks last dance," agrees Mike as he blocks the other and they launch forwards.
"Time for some math, with us one plus one doesn't equal two," says Kevin.
"It equals one less Nighloks," finishes Mike as they send him rolling across the floor.
Before using the Forest Spear and then the Hydro bow to destroy him completely.

The glue instantly disappearing from them.
"We did it," cheers Mike.
"Oh it is great to be free," smiles Mike.
"We did it Mike," says Kevin.
"We sure did, together," nods Mike, "Just like Jayden said we could."
"I even think I was getting the hang of those dance steps" smiles Kevin.
Mike laughs, "all due respect I think I'll stick to asking Evie to be my dance partner, she's actually got moves" he replies.
"Fair enough" laughs Kevin.

Suddenly Epoxar grows into his second life, "if I can't stick you together, I'll tear you apart!" he shouts about to attack them when a blast hits him.
Mike and Kevin look around in time to see the bullzord and the clawzord.
"Megazords to the rescue," smiles Jayden. "Thanks for ungluing us, guys."
"You did good guys, now leave the rest to us, I'm calling in one serious zord, Octozord het in the game," says Antonio as he flips his samuraiser open calling it to them.
Both activating full megazord mood. The Octozord and Clawzord combining as well, the Lightzord transforming as well.
"You guys just don't know when to give up, do you? Well let me give you a hint, its right now," says Epoxar as he sends a series of blasts but the megazords block them with ease. "Think again Nighlok," smirks Jayden as they charge forwards.
"Uh not enough I guess," another sets of blasts burst from Epoxar, but they're just as ineffective.
"Alright time to bring out the bug gun," he decides as the glue mouth on his shoulder erupts.
"Shoulder blaster," activated Jayden shredding the glue shots as well as Epoxar himself with his own blasts.

"You'll have to do better than that. But there's no way you'll do better than this. Octospear, charge!" calls Antonio as he surges forwards stabbing the spear into Epoxar and he stumbles backwards.
Only for the lightzord to appear, slamming into him over and over.
Before he can recover Jayden activates Shogun mode, "Revolving laser blaster, fire," he smirks as the blasts destroy the Nighlok in a huge explosion.
"Samurai rangers, victory is ours."

Deker looks at the fire, "This is taking too long, it is growing tiresome."
"Deker, sorry for not keeping in touch for oh, the last 200 years," says Serrator.
"Do I know you?"
"Why of course, we go way back. How do you enjoy being a half Nighlok, had your fill of evil yet?"
"For the moment," nods Deker before coming to his feet, his remaining half of Urumasa pointed at Serrator, "But I have things to attend too" he adds.
"You're strong, no humans have been able to handle being a Nighlok for this long. Both you and Dayu are very impressive," notes Serrator.
"Enough talk, can you get the other half of Urumasa back and fix my sword or not?" demands Deker.
"Well I created it. And I was the one who gave it to you," answers Serrator.
"You act as if I knew that," notes Deker.
"Stay calm Deker, I can retrieve the broken part of your sword, fix both it and Dayu's harmonium" assures Serrator walking over to Dayu. "Once I have the other half of Urumasa, I will return them to you. But you will need to do something for me first."
"I would do anything to have this returned to me," says Dayu looking at her harmonium.

"In the meantime, take this dagger, it has special magic" says Serrator handing it to Dayu.
"If you truly did create this sword, then you have shown me a cursed existence" notes Deker, "so what will you show me next, and how do you intend to make the rangers return the other half?" asks Deker.
"Take pride in knowing you will soon have a huge part to play in mankind's destruction. And as for the rangers, why they'll be begging to give it back to you once I am done," smirks Serrator.
Deker hands the broken half back to him.
"You have made a good choice, the rangers will soon be calling upon you to return Urumasa, when they do, you need only take back the other half and return it to me. I will do the rest," assures Serrator.

Ji, Evie, Jayden, Mia and Emily all watch as Mike and Kevin put the groceries away.
"Looks like they finally found their synchronicity," smiles Mia.
"Eggs," calls Mike.
"No"" cries Kevin followed by a splat as the eggs land on the floor.
"Or not," snorts Evie as they all laugh.
Mike and Kevin just share a look and grab the dustpan and brush before setting to work cleaning up.

"Today has definitely been a weird day," chuckles Emily.
"Very," agrees Jayden, "Almost getting felt up by Emily."
"Antonio's hand on my ass," adds Evie.
"And me ending up on top of Antonio," sighs Mia.
"All topped off with Mike and Kevin showing a level of teamwork that rivals Evie and Jayden's," finishes Emily.
"I hope not, because that teamwork resulted in Evie's current condition, and I think we'd all be a little disturbed if that situation arouse for Mike and Kevin," points out Ji.
"Just a little," nods Jayden, his arm wrapping around Evie so his hand rested on her stomach.

"Wait what do you mean Emily feeling Jayden up?" asks Mike.
"Hands got stuck places in the glue, and to clarify it was his thigh, I didn't mean for it to be there, and I'm really, really sorry," apologise Emily quickly.
"It's okay Em, we know," assures Evie.
"Yeah cause if you didn't, you'd know by now," chuckles Jayden.
"What do you mean?"

"Last time a girl tried to get handsy, Evie broke said hand" replies Jayden.
"Well lucky for Antonio his nose is still intact, given what happened to the football captain when his hand tried to glue itself to my ass" retorts Evie.
"That's what those incidents were about?" ask Ji, "That makes so much more sense now," he sighs shaking his head and walking off.
"You broke the football captains nose?" asks Mia.
"He was touching my girlfriends ass."
"And the class president had her hand on my boyfriend's thigh."
"Middle of chemistry too," chuckles Jayden.
"Well there was no point in waiting until afterwards," answers Evie, "And I didn't even get time to react to the football captains hand on my ass. Honestly, I'd have thought you'd developed super speed with how quickly you appeared. One of the few times I appreciated those cave man instincts," smiles Evie.
"Oh, I'm aware," replies Jayden with a smirk.

"Oh my god, you two," says Mia shaking her head while Emily just giggles.
"Hey what's a guy meant to do when someone else has hands on his girlfriend?" asks Mike wrapping his arms around Emily and kissing the top of her head.
"Act like a rational human being?" suggests Mia.
"No, there is absolutely zero being a rational person, when someone other guy has got hands on your girlfriend" agrees Kevin, "I threw a member of the rival swim team into the pool when he tried to get up close to Alyssa," he admits.
"And I may have body checked a guy into a wall when some college dude tried to mack on Tanya," nods Mike.
"Cave men, we are surrounded by cave men," sighs Mia.
"We were young and stupid, Evie and I had only been together a few months then," points out Jayden.
"Same for Alyssa and me," nods Kevin.
And Mike nods as well.
"You guys," chuckles Emily.
"Wait and see Em, trust me, it's hotter than it sounds," teases Evie.

Everyone groans at that while Jayden just kisses the top of Evie's head.
"Boys will be boys," says Mia.
"And Evie will be Evie," giggles Emily.
"As if we'd want her any other way," replies Mike.

"So did Antonio's upgrades work on your suit?" asks Kevin looking at Evie.
"I think they did, but let's be honest I don't think glue was quite what we were expecting it to withstand," snorts Evie.
"No, definitely not" agrees Jayden. "But as long as it works."
"Does that mean that Antonio does get the title of godfather?" asks Mike.
"That is not a decision we are making anytime soon; can we at least get the baby out of me first."
"I think we can manage that" nods Mike, "Just gives me more time to prove why I'm the best option," he adds with a smirk.
The others laugh while Evie rolls her eyes, "We'll see."
