The story begins back in a different world where many different creatures rule the many different realms; there is one place many of these creatures went and it was called "The Haven". The different types of creatures where vast, there where vampires and lycans, drows and elf's, demons and dark angels. Some of which where cross breeds, but our story has only two main characters and these two are "Kairi and Zexion".
Kairi was a young female drow, she had dark ebony skin and along beautiful silver hair which went down just past her shoulder blades, but she always kept it up in a pony tail, she had beautiful eyes which showed many emotions but the main emotion was hurt. When Kairi was only a small girl her parents where murdered in front of her eyes on her 5th birthday. She ran away into the woods away from her home, she wondered the woods for years searching for a home; she grew into a fine young woman with sharp instincts and new how to look after herself, she had never been in love or experienced it at all.
Zexion was a young man, he was a vampire cross breed with dark angel, he never new his parents well as he was dragged away from them as a young lad and forced to train everyday of his life. He had jet-black hair and crimson eyes that shinned, her had sharp fangs but they where not long. His wings where jet black also with beautiful soft feathers and he could fly with the grace and elegance of a bird or pray, he was tall strapping young man and well respected by the people of the haven and known well, he had experienced love but mostly heart ache taunted him.
One day Kairi had finally reached the Haven, looking around she was careful not to make a wrong move as she approached the front doors of a giant mansion, she looked form side to side at the many different people and creatures walking by, as she got to the doors a man walked out, he was a neko and didn't seem to be paying any attention when he bumped into her and then just stopped and looked dazed at her beauty he shook his head and quickly walked past. Kairi looked back at him a little confused expression on her face as she had never been looked at like that, she shrugged it off and pushed open the massive doors into the haven, she looked around and got taken back a step by the strong smell of blood and alcohol and also an over powering smell of tobacco, she looked around and then walked in and headed straight for the bar whiles examining the patrons. She sat down on an old wooden stool and ordered a drink from the bar tender. Once her drink had arrived she smiled playing the man and looked around once more not noticing Zexion in the corner watching her.
He got up and headed over to the bar ordering a drink from the bartender who smiled and handed him it straight away, he smiled and nodded as he turned his gaze to Kairi and said in a polite voice whiles looking over her body and then into her eyes.
"Good day m'lady, what brings you to the haven this fine day?" Said Zexion.
Kairi looked at him as he spoke to her and replied I a gentle voice. "Good day sir, I have been travelling for a while now and I needed a place to stay just for to rest."
Zexion instantly jumped at the chance to help her out, he could not understand why he did and it was dangerous since he was being hunted, she calmly said to her in a polite yet happy voice hiding his worry. "You may stay with me if you wish."
