Date: October still.
I was cleaning my weapons when Keane asked me an interesting question:
'What's the most gruesome case you've ever worked on?'
My team has dealt with a lot of gruesome cases over the years, but the 1 I remember being the worst happened back in 2018.
A couple weeks after I returned to work, my team got word of these really gruesome murders, bodies being mutilated and different body parts being sewed on to other bodies. The scariest part was: The killers avoided being captured, and they've been off the grid since.
'So, they're basically a bunch of Frankenstein wanna be's?' Keane asked.
'If you want to believe that.' I replied. 'I hope my team eventually catches them. I shudder at the thought of them being on the loose.'
'Well, they ARE that good! I'm sure they'll find them.'
'So, how's it going on getting us that safe connection back home?' I asked.
'Working on it. If things go well, I might get us a line sometime in the next couple of weeks.' He replied.
I was happy to hear that. I really need to talk to someone back home.
Time for bed.
End recording 3
Endnote: Couldn't let this kind of episode go by without Hetty bringing that case up somehow.
