Double Dare.
"How much would sacrifice to save a loved one?"
"Would you give your very soul to save them?"
"Look into the mirror and place your offer."
"Wake up silent knight…beast… wake…boy…"
"Beastboy…
Beastboy… Are you awake?" Beastboy awoke in a daze a bit
confused wondering if he is still asleep. Looking up a familiar yet
blurry face loomed over him, Beast boy replied.
"Wah…? Where
you taking to me?" The familiar figure came more in focus for the
drowsy boy. It was Robin. Robin said, "What?" Robin looked at
his sleepy friend in confusion. Beast boy spoke a little bit more
awake now "You said something about a…mirror…? And a
sacrifice…?". Robin took a step back giving his friend a bit of a
look more a mix of confusion and discomfort. "Beastboy… are you
feeling alright?"
Beastboy
looked at Robin and rose from the bed, which he was napping from. He
shook his head and have a friendly smile.
"…Never mind…"
Robin gave Beastboy a pat on the shoulder and said, "I think you been playing video games all night again." Beastboy shrugged and looked back at the Game Station. "hmm…probably…"
A voice rang throughout the room. "Wake up…and place…save…"
Beastboy who was still staring at the Game Station spun towards his dear friend whom was half way out of the room. "What did you say?".
Robin
replied turning to face Beastboy "What about what?" Again
Beastboy shook his head in disbelief.
"Never mind…"
Robins
face turned a bit more serious, "Beastboy are you sure your
alright?"
Beastboy turned into his goofy ol' self throwing a
fist in the sir to show confidence and strong will, "Hey I am sure
I am Beastboy! I am invincible!"
His friend laughed and waved
his hand to signal follow me, "Ha ok, ok time for breakfast…"
Beastboy jumped up in the air running to the kitchen, this gave
Robin the idea it's a race. Beastboy yelled to Robin who was a bit
behind "If I win I'll make my famous Tofu waffles, and YOU have
to eat them!"
Robin laughed and started to catch up quickly. "No, not a chance!"
After Beastboy and Robin soon left the room a suspicious figure walked out from the shadowed corners of the room, the figure was transparent and blurry as if it was a ghost. The ghost filled the room with his voice, "He will soon belong to us…I can feel it". The ghosts voice spoke of pure evil that would make the wicked squirm in their graves of discomfort. "Unfortunately he is still young but time is short.". Another voice spoke from under Beastboy's bed this voice was not like the shadows but more of famine yet it sounded a bit annoyed, "I can't believe you trust in this fool… he is nothing like the one we need, a complete fool" The shadow from the corner replied angered by the others words. "Be silent! How dare you speak in disrespect for him!" The bed jerked aside as if someone hit the bed in despise.
"I apologize Master, I should not have said what I said…" The room had a feeling as if peace had loomed over Beastboy's room once again.
"I
forgive you… Now go. You have your duties… do not fail me is you
shall I will not show you mercy… again."
"Understood."
"Good…"
The
room fell silent. The wind grew still. The world continued to turn…
The Darkness started to grow…
