Hello my rabid readers,

Apologies for the delay in this latest chapter getting out to you all, but I've been spending a lot of time with the planning of events coming up in order to make everything flow properly on my story as well as having to spend some time going back and search for some things/facts/previous events etc as I forget how big this story is at times..

I'd like to take the opportunity to say and HUGE, HUGE, HUGE thanks to Goldzar my Beta whose stuck with helping me and editing even when he's had some tough things going on and what can I say but you're a legend and I'm very appreciative to have such a top quality person in my life. Love you bud.

So this chapter was kinda fun to right and I hope its enjoyable as its something that needed addressing and doing from previous build up in chapters (see you all think I forget about stuff but it always come out later on ha ha).

I don't really know what else to write other than I still don't own Harry Potter.. am eagerly awaiting to see what Hogwarts Legacy is like when it comes out as the trailer looks quality and erm that I'll try and write quicker its just works annoyingly busy these days and I'm still trying to get into my flow.

So please enjoy and mischief managed I guess.

Cheers

Chapter 108 – The Interview

Friday 2nd September, Wangdue Phodrang, Bhutan

"Bloody hell this lot aren't messing about, are they?" Minahara Mace asked his Captain. As they ran down the street, a series of apparition pops sounded from further behind them.

Sparing a look back, Celsun Hammer saw the four hit wizards apparate onto the end of the street close to where they had apparated to just a few moments ago. "No they aren't. You'd have thought that they'd have given up by now."

"That curse, that little bitch sent at me a minute ago nearly took my head off," He growled. They heard a familiar fizzing sound from behind and Hammer pushed his friend by the shoulder onto the other side of the street, so that the spell couldn't hit his friend and Lieutenant in the back and take him out.

The spell that was fired at them went whizzing past them before hitting a wooden telegraph pole causing it to crack loudly from the impact of the spell.

Mace stole another glance over his shoulder to find the four hit wizards chasing them. Two wizards and two witches in their long dragon hide coats were gaining on them as the two Japanese wizards ran along the street towards the town. There had been no real cover for miles along the road other than the odd isolated house and some trees.

Hammer and Mace had regularly had to stop behind whatever they could in order to fire off some spells at the chasing hit wizards to cause them to take cover so that they could move ahead of them and try to create a gap. One of them had to fire spells to force the hit wizards to take cover as the other moved down the road and then they swapped roles so that the other could either catch up or overtake them to provide covering fire. It hadn't been lost on Mace that his Captain was prepared to let him do the longer sprints.

Due to the lay of the land and them both getting magically and physically exhausted, Mace had suggested going through a series of rice paddy fields that were built on the slope of the hill towards the town of Wangdue Phodrang. They knew that there was a Jade Dragon safe house waiting for them and hoped some allies and a rest, knowing that the Hit Wizards and Witches wouldn't be able to follow them.

The hit wizards outnumbering Mace and Hammer had tried to flank them several times and it was thankfully down to Celsun Hammer's spell power and his knowledge of some Earth affinity magic that they hadn't been flanked, surrounded, and, most importantly, captured.

Hammer had managed to manipulate the fields to throw up earthen walls making the land almost like a maze filled with almost living barricades that the hit wizards had had to blast their way through. It had done the job and increased the gap between them as they'd trundled through the muddy ground.

They were both tired, hungry and wet from the run through the paddy fields. Their small supply of freezing potions that they had thrown as the hit wizards waded through the water and mud of the paddy's had slowed their pursuers down enough to give them a gap.

Wangdue Phodrang was a magical village in Bhutan and the Jade Dragon has had a presence there for almost a century for storing contraband and other illegal substances or materials that they either stole or used. Mace and Hammer had been pursued by the hit wizards since they had been spotted and identified while trying to go through an apparition port in Dhaka in Bangladesh.

They had to cause quite the scene in order to get out of there as the Bangladeshi aurors and hit wizards stationed there had clearly been looking for them. Mace knew it was because of the bar fight they'd caused in Qingdao on the China coast. They'd been playing a card game called Gou Ji and Hammer had been convinced one of the wizards there was cheating.

Hammer had been drinking heavily and was just annoyed that he kept losing his money to the wizard across from him, who was playing emotionlessly and not even reacting to Hammer's growing annoyance.

In the end, Hammer had thrown the table over and grabbed the Chinaman by his throat and in an impressive display of strength had lifted him out of his seat. Mace had been forced to draw his wand as Hammer started strangling the man.

The other players jumped from their seats, half the players beating a hasty retreat into the crowd of people standing around watching the game or drinking to avoid the approaching violence. The other half shouted at Hammer to let the man go as they were drawing their wands. Mace could see that they were clearly associates of the Chinaman Hammer was strangling him to the point that his face was turning purple with Hammer's powerful hands around his throat.

The man must have been seriously connected though as suddenly there was pandemonium as Hammer dropped the man, who hit the floor like a fish hitting the deck of a boat before remaining still. He and Hammer had to fight their way out of the bar, setting it on fire in order to cover their escape as the curses started to fly in all directions and some of the Jade Dragon members they were with moved to protect their higher ranking officers.

They had managed to get away in the darkness of the alley behind the bar, but not before Hammer had summoned the money scattered on the floor after he upended the table. While they stood in the darkness of the alley trying to figure out which way to go in the unfamiliar town they had been spotted.

While arguing about which direction to flee, Mace had reminded Hammer that the Colonel had told them they were meant to be keeping a low profile and killing someone in front of dozens of witnesses wasn't exactly doing that.

Hammer's no doubt angry retort was cut off as a group of about six Chinese wizards all dressed in black robes with the same cherry blossom tree embroidered onto the lapel, with wands drawn and started sending curses at the two of them.

That's when the pursuit of the two Jade Dragon members had begun as the Chinese wizards had started chasing them down the road out of the town. It had been a game of cat and mouse against them for a while. They chased them all the way to the border and there were some Chinese hit wizards that joined and then took over the pursuit of Hammer and Mace.

This was because Hit Wizards had licence to cross international borders while in pursuit of a suspect. Hammer and Mace had been surprised and disappointed that they hadn't been able to throw the Hit Wizard team off all the way along the Chinese coast, through Vietnam and Laos.

They'd thought they'd cracked it in Myanmar as they'd managed to hide in a safe house that was warded to be invisible unless you knew its location and Mace had the foresight to research potential places they could stay as Major Song had informed them that they weren't allowed to directly portkey out of Japan to their destination and they had to travel by land in order to get to their destination.

It was taking longer than necessary because they were being pursued and couldn't lead the hit wizards to one of the Jade Dragon's safehouses or locations as they were under strict orders not to risk exposing any part of the operations in any country they were established in.

They'd managed to get out of Myanmar when an Ensign in Monywa had managed to smuggle them out of the safe house and passed the hit wizards observing it to a NOMA train station.

They'd then travelled by NOMA means across the country before arriving in Chattogram in Bangladesh where there was a magical quarter and they'd gathered some supplies and prepared to floo to the apparition station in Dhaka.

It had been a long journey so far and both Hammer and Mace were wanting to get to a location where they could rest and eat without knowing Hit Wizards were camped nearby waiting for them.

As they continued down the street they saw the buildings approaching in the distance and both Mace and Hammer breathed a sigh of relief as the Hit Wizards would have to stow their wands so as to not perform magic in front of NOMAs.

"What do you think?" Mace shouted to Hammer from behind a tree that was providing him cover from the barrage of spells that was coming their way. Mace saw that Hammer's robes and hakama were splattered with mud and Buddha knew what else and he assumed he looked the same.

"Well it's what about a hundred and fifty yards to those NOMA buildings but we will be out of range of these fuckers being able to cast spells at us in about fifty yards. There's no more trees or anything else blocking the view from the road and there's a couple of NOMA houses there." Hammer said ducking as low as his large bulk would allow him behind the tree he was using to try and hide behind.

"It's a long time exposed in the open though. We'd need some sort of distraction to take away their focus so we don't get hit while we are legging it," Mace returned.

"Do you know where the safe house is? I don't want to stumble across this lot when trying to find it." Hammer called across to Mace as he pressed his lips together and fired something that looked like a blasting hex at the youngest Hit Witch.

Mace saw the spell impact on the road in front of her by a good fifteen feet before sending up a shower of stones and dust where the spell impacted.

"I've got an idea." Mace said successfully as he had a lightbulb moment and called "Cover me" to Hammer.

"What do you think I'm doing? Just hurry up and be quick alright. This tree I'm behind isn't really a very good cover and if it takes a couple more spells it will crack and then we're fucked." Hammer called back irritably as the tree shook against his side as a spell impacted on it.

Mace went down on his haunches, pulling out the travel bag he was keeping their supplies in and buried his arm into the magically deep confines of the bag. He searched around pulling out test tube phials of different potions checking to see if he still had the right ones. Eventually he found the three potions he was looking for and put them on the ground by his feet.

He reached into the bag once again all the way to his armpit feeling around before he felt the two litre cauldron that he was searching for. He pulled it out quickly and set the cauldron next to test tube phials on the ground.

"Remember in fourth year when we messed up Juan Del Santo's invisibility solution by putting freezing potion and booster potion into his cauldron when he wasn't looking?" Mace called out pulling out the first stopper of a phial and pouring the freezing potion into the cauldron between his feet.

"Not really," Hammer replied while sending two powerful spells at the hit wizards and grinned happily when he heard the cry of pain indicating that his spell had connected and the incoming spell fire halved.

"Well the freezing and booster potions reacted with the invisibility potion because the guong dun berries in the freezing potion violently reacted when exposed to the porcupine quills and ground up Hinku bat tooth in the booster potion and the beetles spleen and Kappa eye juice in the invisibility solution." Mace started to explain remembering the event from their childhood.

"Listen Mace we've no fucking time for a history lesson or a sodding potions class! Just do what you are doing and let's run while two of the bastards are out of action." Hammer shouted back.

"Right," Mace said realising that it wasn't really the time. He poured the invisibility solution that he'd brought from his own private stores into the cauldron and then uncorked and poured in the booster potion as well.

Almost instantaneously the potions started reacting with each other and a thick sickly pink fog started spewing in thick splutters from the cauldron almost like it was alive and trying to heave up the smoke.

Mace took his wand and levitated the cauldron and cast it towards the Hit Wizards. He heard the clunk of it landing but couldn't see it as a plume of thick pink smoke was starting to spread blocking everything from view.

"Right fire three spells and we'll run for the town," Mace said to Hammer who was smiling as the pink thick fog was blocking everything from view.

"Fire while we run. Lets go!" Hammer cast his first spell and set off at a sprint away from the cursing Hit Wizards who were starting to cough and splutter as the thick smoke spread across the whole road and surrounding fields giving them cover.

Mace set off at a run casting a few spells behind him where he remembered the Hit Wizards being as they ran at full sprint across the open area before making it to the edge of the town.

Not stopping but chancing a look back, Mace grinned and laughed to himself. The whole of the eastern side of the town was being enveloped in the thick putrid pink fog. "No wonder Master Poh went mental at us when we did that last time. No way they are seeing us through that," he called out getting a laugh from Hammer.

"Good thinking Mace. I remember it now. We got detention for like a month after doing that. Master Poh took the rest of the day trying to vanish the smoke coming out of the cauldron, didn't he." They jogged and turned into a side street off the main road and started slowing a little so that they didn't draw as much attention from the NOMAs who were coming out of their shops and homes pointing at the thick pink fog enveloping their town.

"That's right. Let's stop on this corner and I'll check the address of the safehouse." Mace replied, getting a nod from Hammer. They stopped in the middle of the road outside a noodle shop. While Mace pulled a small book from his robes and let out a hiss of pain as he ran his fingers along the spine causing the book to open.

"Buddha's bollocks that food smells good. I'm bloody starving," Hammer commented. He couldn't remember when they'd last had time to eat a decent meal rather than snatching what they could to survive while on the run.

"I know it's making it hard to concentrate on this," Mace said, trying to focus his eyes on the book and not think about the food.

As they stood there in the middle of a street, a taxi came screeching around the corner at speed before coming to a skidding stop just inches away from having taken the two of them out. They were standing in the middle of the road!

The driver was a short stocky man who stuck his head out of the window and shouted something at them they didn't understand so they just looked at each other before Mace went back to reading the book and ignored the driver who was now honking his horn.

"What language do they even speak here?" Hammer called to Mace who shook his head and shrugged his shoulders.

"It's something like Dzongkha, I think. Just shut that idiot up, will you? I'm trying to concentrate and that idiot making that racket isn't helping." Mace said waspishly.

Hammer started making angry strides towards the man in the taxi who suddenly stopped shouting and beeping them as the reality of the size of Celsun Hammer approaching him dawned on him that he might have gone a bit far. Hammer looked annoyed and saw the man visibly shrink back into his car realising that his angry bravado had backfired in a big way.

The man didn't have time to think about it though as the large meaty hand of Celsun Hammer grabbed the man by his shirt on his chest and unfortunately for the man he wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Hammer pulled him from the car with a single hand and dumped him on the road.

He was just about to teach the man a lesson in manners as he had the man by the scruff of the neck and his fist raised above his head, when Mace shouted for him to stop. Mace came running towards them the short distance and bent down next to the man and grabbed the medallion hanging from the man's neck.

"Look at this." Mace said to Hammer who looked at the medallion and saw that it was a circular image of a dragon with a single head made out of jade stone. "He's an Ensign," he said as the man looked fearfully between the two of them.

"Show him your medallion Celsun and he will realise who we are and will probably be able to help." Hammer released the man as people started making more noise as the smoke was thinning a little as it spilled into their street.

Hammer took his wand out that caused the man on the ground's eyes to widen even more as Hammer passed his wand over his own chest and the three headed Jade dragon badge appeared on the lapel of his robes causing the man's eye to widen even more.

Before either of the Japanese wizards could do anything the man had pushed himself up and gotten into a kneeling position before bending forwards and prostrated himself at Celsun's feet.

"Get up man and get us out of here" Celsun said as some of the people in the street came to investigate the strange pink fog turned and saw the man prostrated to the big hulking Celsun Hammer.

"Show him the address and see if he recognises it." Hammer said irritably as he pulled his feet out one by one from under the man's hands.

Mace grabbed the man's shoulder and pulled him upright showing him the page where the safe house addresses were in this region and saw the puzzled look on the man's face until he spotted the address in Bhutan and nodded recognition, indicating for the two wizards to follow him to the car.

Mace put the book back in his robes and he and Hammer squeezed themselves in the small rear seat of the taxi. The doors had barely closed when the Bhutan wizard gunned the engine and shot off through the streets of the town. Letting out a sigh of relief that they were out of sight from the Hit Wizards, but being thrown from side to side inside the back of the taxi as it darted through traffic and taking corners quickly. The wizard in the front of the car ignored the mutterings and swearing from the back seat as he jabbered away into a mobile phone before snapping it shut and putting it into his trouser pocket.

As they turned into a side alley between two shops the driver started going towards the end of the alley, which Mace and Hammer looked and saw it was a dead end.

"This fucking idiot is going to kill us," Mace exclaimed. The driver looked at them grinning stupidly with his bad teeth and nodding. Mace wondered whether the guy was crazy or whether he actually understood. "Shhhhiiiiiiiiiitttttit!" Mace and Hammer both started to shout as the driver drove straight at the wall and the two Japanese wizards braced for an impact that didn't come.

They opened their eyes to find themselves speeding towards a nice two storey house with a balcony on the roof covered by a multi coloured striped canopy to keep the sun off the residents.

The walls were a terracotta colour and there were large wide open windows to allow a breeze into the building from the hot climate. They were proceeding along a gravel driveway flanked on the left by a high fence that they couldn't see over and on the right a long wide stripe of grass with a water fountain in the middle of it. The glistening water caught the sun as it rose and fell almost making it look like a halo.

On the ground floor of the house there was a large door that looked like the car would fit through and a large door with a window on the far side. As they drove up, they noticed a younger wizard who was wearing traditional Bhutan clothing but they could see that he had Asian features.

As the car came to a stop, Hammer and Mace quickly got out, looking at the driver like he had two heads after the hair raising experience they'd just had.

The wizard let out a crazed laugh waving at them before shooting off towards the garage section of the building at speed and then the car disappeared from sight but no collision occurred in the dark confines of the garage. The two Japanese wizards just assumed that the dark confines of the garage worked the same way as the tunnels in the Banzai Bazaar train station and that the vehicle was magically diverted to somewhere else.

"Captain Hammer, Lieutenant Mace?" The wizard who had come out of the house asked politely in Japanese.

"You're Japanese?" Hammer said more of a statement than question.

"Yes. Ensign Nagahara at your service." The younger man replied, giving them a traditional Japanese bow.

"How do you know our names?" Mace asked the man suspiciously. He'd not given the crazy wizard in the car their names.

"Welcome to Bhatan and I'm glad to see that Suda managed to find you in the town. As for how I know your names it is big news that two high ranking members of the Jade Dragon have entered our country and I received reports from a colleague on the border that there are some Hit Wizards currently searching for you," The younger wizard explained to them both.

"Yes they've been chasing us all across the country and severely delaying us reaching our final destination since they were waiting for us in Dhaka." Mace said informing the Ensign who nodded along as he explained. Mace was happy enough with the explanation as he could understand that word must have gotten around after what happened in Dhaka.

"That's what we were led to believe. We'd received intelligence that you were possibly trying to make your way here into the town. There are three different roads leading into the town but none of our scouting parties spotted you until the pink smoke started blinding the landscape and we assumed that you mustn't have come by road."

"No we ended up having to come through the fields to try and lose those bastards chasing us" Hammer said bitterly wiping his brow. He was getting hot, stood under the sun and had been chased and tracked by the Hit Wizards for so long.

"This is why we could not come to your assistance sooner but I'm impressed that you managed to cause a big enough distraction that you could get into the town." Nagahara said respectfully. The pink fog had caused quite a stir in town.

"It's a pity as if we'd have assistance we might have been able to finish the bastards once and for all so that we could get away properly." Hammer said a little bitterly as he mopped his brow with his shirt sleeve.

"Forgive my manners, having you both stood here in the hot sun after what you've both been through. Please follow me. I've arranged for some refreshments for you as well as a place to rest and recuperate. I hope that you'll find the accommodation appropriate for officers of your stature." Ensign Nagahara said as he led them to the front door and into an entrance hall that was almost decorated entirely in gold leaf.

Bar the carpets and the odd portrait or painting along the walls, the entrance looked almost tacky but the Ensign looked over his shoulders to the more senior Jade Dragon officers and Mace gave him a forced smile like he was impressed.

He led them through a pair of double doors on the left and as the doors were opened the smells of perfume and incense assaulted their nostrils along with steam that was coming from a large pool built into the floor in the roman style with steps immediately in front of them.

There were a mixture of small tables, sun loungers, and chaise lounges around the pool atop the marble floor. There were pillars rising to a ringed balcony above the pool and Mace and Hammer grinned to themselves as there were scantily dressed women in bikinis and sarongs of various different colours and styles. All smiling down seductively and the two Japanese wizards exchanged looks at seeing the women on offer.

As Nagahara led them around the side of the pool, there was a large buffet selection on a large and long table that gave off such wonderful aromas. The spread was quite impressive with an assortment of fruits, cold cuts, curries, dumplings, stews, noodle and rice dishes and a whole array of other foods that had the two Japanese wizards salivating.

From the far end of the room two witches and two wizards dressed in traditional clothing appeared and Nagahara said that they would see to any request that the two officers had.

"Please enjoy your bath and the refreshments. They will take and wash your clothes for you and provide you with others. If you wish to sleep, rooms are available for you to do so, as I'd imagine you are both in need of a rest after your travels. Then once you are rested and refreshed we can convene in my office and discuss your onward journey and how we can assist you," He concluded with a bow to the older wizards.

"That would be agreeable Ensign Nagahara," Hammer said as he started to strip off his clothes, eager to get into the pool and soak his aching muscles.

"Very good Captain." Nagahara said giving them a formal bow again and clicking his finger as the witches and wizards in attendance started fussing over the Lieutenant and Captain as he made his way to the large double doors again and watching the two Japanese officers smirking to themselves as they were offered food and drink by their attendants.

As the doors clicked closed, Nagahara decided to go and write a quick report to send to headquarters that Hammer and Mace had arrived safely and were being taken care of. After all it never hurt to remind the powers that be at headquarters that he was still here hoping for a transfer back to Japan or even China as the usually quiet outpost in Bhutan was never going to fill Nagahara's ambition and if he made a good impression on Hammer and Mace maybe they could help on his ticket out of Bhutan to a more interesting assignment.

Sunday 4th September, Narcissa Blacks hotel suite, The Panama Palace, Banzai Bazaar, Tokyo

Sitting opposite Narcissa on one of the sofas in her suite, while she was reading through a copy of The Rising Sun newspaper seemingly without a care in the world, Harry chewed nervously at a fingernail while staring out of the large open windows behind her.

"Harry," she said, not looking up from her newspaper as he looked up at her.

"Yes," He asked, looking at her.

"If you're nervous about this you don't have to do it you know, or you can take a calming draft." Narcissa said kindly as she lowered the newspaper.

"I'm just not that into giving interviews. I'll be alright," Harry replied, not fully convincing himself. He'd not really had a serious interview with anyone since Luna and the Quibbler helped him get the word out about Voldemort in fifth year. "Besides being this dressed up as well doesn't really help. Are you sure I have to wear robes for this? Can't I just wear something casual?" He asked fidgeting in the dove grey robes and crimson shirt and black cravat that he had on.

"Harry the robes look spectacular on you and while I appreciate that you want to be comfortably dressed, remember that you are the Lord of four ancient and noble houses and while you are just Harry to me and your friends, to the wizarding world at large you're a celebrity and someone to aspire to be like."

"I know you didn't choose to be a focal point of magical society, but you naturally are one I'm afraid and how you project your image, even through your clothes, is something that will draw attention." Narcissa said seeing him fusing with his collar.

Just as Narcissa was about to tell Harry to stop fussing with his collar Hermione suddenly emerged with Fleur out of the confines of Harry's trunk.

Fleur looked radiant as ever in a midnight blue set of womens business robes and had her hair tied up in a high ponytail that showed off her facial features.

Hermione was wearing a set of cappuccino coloured outer robes with a hazel brown coloured knee length skirt, high boots in the same colour and dark yellow top underneath them. Harry couldn't help but smile to himself as he saw the locket that he'd bought her for her belated birthday displayed proudly around her neck.

Hermione's hair was done up in an elaborate pile of chestnut brown ringlets like she'd worn to the Yule Ball in fourth year and she had some earrings that looked like little daisies.

Her makeup was done tastefully and her face lit up into a smile as she looked at Harry. Harry thought she looked absolutely beautiful. "You look lovely." Harry said to her. Fleur let out a polite cough. "And obviously you do as well Fleur but you're probably more used to people telling you." He said to the amusement of Hermione and Narcissa who laughed at the comment.

"It never hurts to still be told it Arry." Fleur said demurely. Hermione and Harry moved to sit on the same sofa and Fleur took her place next to Narcissa, giving the older witch a knowing smile as Harry and Hermione looked like two awkward teenagers on a first date. Wanting to look at each other but smiling away the awkwardness when the other caught them looking.

"You look very handsome in your robes Harry. Red was always one of your colours," Hermione said looking across to Narcissa and seeing the older witch trying not to smile obviously amused at the awkwardness between Harry and Hermione, which was silly as they were best friends and had known each other too long to have things be awkward between them.

"So are you two going to explain what you've set up that's apparently going to make things easier for me to discuss, whatever it is I'm going to be discussing with Parvati?" Hermione asked, looking between Harry and Narcissa. Narcissa indicated for Harry to explain before sitting back in her chair almost regally and crossing her legs and resting her hands in her lap.

"Right ok, well I know that Ron agreed to this thing with Witch Weekly for doing an exposé on the three of us and that it's the first interview we've given since the battle." Harry said as Hermione nodded slowly not really sure where he was going with this.

"Well I thought since we gave our account of what happened to the ministry and also to the goblin brethren, but they are both wanting to keep that information to themselves. I thought that the general public at large don't really know what happened with Voldemort or anything that happened after fifth year when we gave that interview to Rita Skeeter and had it published in The Quibbler." Harry explained as Hermione looked at him seriously for a moment.

"Are you saying that you want to discuss the Horcruxes, The Battle of Hogwarts, The Deathly Hallows… like everything with Parvati?" Hermione asked Harry.

"Well.. yeah, except that I'm going to go on record saying that I've destroyed the elder wand and that it no longer exists. I don't want anyone trying to do me in thinking that I'm still the possessor of the wand." Harry said as he heard Fleur whispering asking Narcissa 'what is an elder wand?' and Narcissa giving her a short explanation about the tale of the Three Brothers and Fleur seemed to cotton on. "Ah yes, I know zis story.. it was never my favourite growing up though.. Too sinister," she said as Harry continued.

"That's not all though." Harry said to Hermione who was surprised Harry wanted to tell all about what had happened over the last few years to Parvati. She didn't think that Harry would want to discuss such a sensitive subject. She knew he never enjoyed talking about what had happened.

"Really? Why what else have you sorted out?" Hermione asked, wondering what other bombshell Harry had in store.

"Well I thought that as you and I didn't really have any option of who we wanted to speak with about what had happened after Ron had given his interview to Witch Weekly," he said seeing he had Hermione's rapt attention.

"I've also invited some members of the international press, one of the magical historians from the British Ministry for Magic, Xenophilius Lovegood and The Quibbler and Bethesda Bagshot to take part in the story and recording of what went on with the Horcruxes and all that. I don't trust Witch Weekly to give an accurate account of what happened and I thought it was important to make sure that what happened was recorded accurately."

"I just figured if there were multiple people in the room hearing our account of what happened then they would have no choice than to report it accurately and word for word as one of the other journalists or historians could refute what was published if it wasn't accurate." Harry said, studying Hermione's face.

"I understand if you don't want to talk about what happened," his stomach tightened when he saw Hermione subconsciously cover her forearm where Bellatrix Lestrange had carved 'Mudblood' into her flesh. He reached across and placed his hand delicately atop hers and tried to give as much reassurance into the gesture as possible, "I don't mind doing that interview by myself and you can just come in when that's finished and Parvati is doing the rest of the exposé on us."

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been springing this on you Hermione. Especially not so last minute. I just thought that it would mean that rather than us getting asked about it all the time we could get the story out once and then never have to explain it or tell anyone about what happened ever again." Harry explained as Hermione watched him realising that he was trying to protect her from having to relive what had happened again.

Hermione thought about it for a long moment and unconsciously bit her lower lip as she thought, looking into Harry's eyes for what felt like an eternity before making her decision.

"No." she said seeing Harry's shoulders slump just a fraction before he gave her a sad and tight little smile and nodded like he understood her reluctance. That would have made her heart break if she didn't know what else she was going to say.

"No Harry, we went through all that the last year together and I'm not going to let you retell that whole nightmare alone." Hermione said turning her hand under his and giving it a reassuring squeeze.

"I think you've done the right thing in inviting multiple people to hear about what happened. You're also correct in that an accurate account of what happened last year and before is going to be needed. We both know that The Daily Prophet never reported anything accurately regarding you or me unless they got their stories from The Quibbler."

Harry looked a little relieved and she smiled, "Not to mention the fact that all of these publications are going to pay you both for your time and your solicitors Sloop & Everard have had them all sign contracts to record what you say accurately and that they are only allowed to publish official photographs of you both that are taken by Harry's official photographer," Narcissa said as Fleur and Hermione both looked at Harry.

"When did you hire an official photographer?" Hermione asked.

"Ever since I got cornered in Diagon Alley by one of the Prophets photographers and they took a photo of me and I heard them saying to themselves proudly that it would net them some money when they thought I was out of ear shot. So I decided when I was speaking with Hayley Sloop that I no longer wanted people making money off my photograph especially after that Lockhart incident in Flourish and Blotts." Harry explained to them and Fleur said that she thought it was a good idea and maybe something Hermione might consider doing herself.

"No one wants to take my photograph for the papers. It's all about Harry and I'm quite happy about that." Hermione said before nearly jumping out her skin as she heard a deep male voice out of nowhere say "I wouldn't be so sure of that Lady Granger-Dumbledore-Hufflepuff."

"Oh my god!" Hermione squeaked in fright. Harry and Narcissa laughed as suddenly from Hermione's left and Harry's right a witch and a wizard appeared.

"Zat was an unfair trick to play on us Arry." Fleur scolded, her nostrils flaring slightly but an amused smirk touching her lips as she looked at him.

"Sorry ladies. I couldn't help but play a trick on you both. This is Stephen Shutton and his wife Sinead." Harry said, indicating the couple. "Stephen is a partner at Shutterbuttons and well he's been very kind in coming out to Japan to take some official photos for the article that Witch Weekly will want to run as well as any other publications." Harry explained as Stephen and Sinead made their way to Fleur and Hermione and shook their hands.

"Apologies about scaring you both. I think this big goof is just as bad Harry, it seems, for playing that joke on people. We always disillusion ourselves when on a shoot though. We think natural photographs look so much better than posed ones," Stephen said to Hermione and Fleur. Harry and Sinead gave each other a mischievous wink.

"Well what's life without having a little laugh every now and again. It's all harmless fun. It really is a pleasure to meet you both" Sinead said moving to the side again so she could see both Hermione and Fleur without having to turn her head to the two of them in turn. "Although I must say you're both absolutely gorgeous girls and maybe you should both consider doing a little modelling work. You both have very photogenic features. Especially you Fleur, if you don't mind me saying." Sinead got a blush from Hermione and a dazzling smile from Fleur.

"Well I'm currently happy with my current employers but I ave been asked about modelling in the past and maybe it will be an avenue I look at before my looks fade in the future." Fleur said to Sinead who nodded and said that she had lovely flawless skin, so she doubted she would ever lose her looks.

"I told them to call you Fleur and Hermione by the way but Stephen likes to be formal the first time he meets someone" Harry said and Hermione could see that he was clearly very relaxed with Stephen and Sinead.

"Yes that's fine as you know Harry." Hermione said with Fleur nodding and breaking into a conversation with Sinead about whether Sinead had ever done muggle photography or been to France as she thought that she would enjoy the fashion scene in Paris for photography.

Hermione meanwhile was focused on Stephen and Harry, "So how did Harry manage to convince you to come all the way to Japan just to take some photographs of us giving an interview?" Hermione asked Stephen who was sitting on the arm of Harry's couch now.

"Well Harry here can be very persuasive," Stephen replied, looking at Harry before continuing "but honestly he's got us on retainer and has paid us a lot of gold to be his official photographer. He trusts us to protect his image in Britain and make sure that people don't profit from his photograph or portray him incorrectly. Over the years, we've all seen how the Prophet put their own spin on their own photographs to make it fit into whatever they want to write." Stephen explained much to Hermione and Narcissa's liking.

"He's also our most important client as well. He's big news just like yourself and everyone wants a piece. So Babs, my business partner Barbara, and I flipped a coin and Sinead called it in the air and we won, so we got to come out on the trip here, see a bit of Japan, have a little holiday as well as do some work with Harry. Meanwhile Babs and Muriel will look after the shop and take care of things for the next few days for any other work we've got lined up." Stephen replied before Sinead piped up.

"Yeah so we are delighted to get the trip in really. We couldn't have a honeymoon because the war was on, so we're going to try and spend a week or so here if we can. Although I'm not fancying having to travel back through that magical portkey again, that was horrible." Sinead said and Hermione saw the colour fade a little in Stephen's cheeks.

"I could have a word with the goblins at Gringotts if you like. Narcissa and Fleur came here through their vanishing cabinet network and it was just like walking from one room to another." Harry said, getting nods of approval from Fleur and Narcissa and their agreement that it was by far the best way to travel long distances.

"Really the goblins have vanishing cabinets and they work?" Sinead clarified getting nods from them all.

"Yes they do and it's much better than international portkey, although Fleur it might be worth checking with Harry's account manager to make sure that they are happy with that. We don't want the Goblins thinking that we are trying to turn Gringotts into an international travel port." Narcissa laughed.

She and Fleur both saw Harry's head suddenly pop up like a meerkat, "Arry.. No!" Fleur scolded holding her finger out to him like she was talking to a pet dog. "You can't go suggesting that as a business idea to Gringotts. You've already suggested the currency change regarding the coin denominations and the beseecher slips. This would be one step too far and the ministry wouldn't be appy losing all the revenue they make from international travel if you put that in the goblins' power."

"Oh alright, I won't suggest it to them. Although I pay them enough they should be happy to arrange travel for me." Harry groused light heartedly as Fleur's comment had got the cogs in his business brain turning again.

There was a knock at the door and Narcissa gracefully got to her feet, her hips sashaying on her way to the door.

Harry tried to not laugh out loud as he saw Sinead clip Stephen around the ear when she'd caught him watching Narcissa's bottom. Harry had some sympathy for Stephen, Narcissa was a gorgeous witch after all.

Narcissa opened the door slightly and there were quite a few voices in the hallway as she said "Just five more minutes please" to whoever she was speaking to and closed the door softly.

"The interviewers and press are here. I think we'd best get ready and get started. Harry, why don't you and Hermione go into my room and close the door while we get everyone in your trunk for the interview and either Fleur or I will come and get you when we're ready. Fleur could you retrieve Master Kuzuko? She said that she wanted to help with the arrangements so she could assess any possible security threats before we start," Narcissa explained, she rolled her eyes a little as she was pretty confident a member of the press wouldn't try to attack Harry in his own trunk.

"I will go and set the room up with Stephen and Sinead and then they can get ready and in place before the press comes in." Getting nods of agreement from Harry and the others as they all got to their feet and went into action.

Harry took Hermione's hand and led her into Narcissa's bedroom and guided her in before letting go of her hand and closing the door behind them. He turned and saw Hermione sitting on the edge of the bed looking at him and visions of him kissing her and pushing her back onto the bed flooded his mind.

"I have to admit you're really surprising me these days Harry. Organising all this, having secret official photographers… I'd ask if there is anything else I don't know about you but I kind of like this side of you," Hermione teased.

Harry rubbed the hair on the back of his neck, "I'm sorry. I know today's kind of caught you off guard but I just thought if we could get this out of the way then we never have to talk about last year, Voldemort, or anything else ever again. I promise after we've done this and talked with Parvati that we'll do whatever you want for the rest of the afternoon." Hermione assured him it was fine and that it was a nice adjustment to have him being the organised one for a change.

"Yeah well I'm trying to take some of the burden off you. I think you've earned a break since arranging my survival last year." Harry said as they both sat in a comfortable silence with each other.

After what felt like an age the double doors to the room slowly opened and Narcissa's head popped in. "They are all ready for you now." She came into the room proper leaving the doors open behind them. "Now before we go in I want to tell you both that I think you are being very brave talking about this. I know it's bringing up some real horrors from your pasts. If you want to stop at any time just say so, alright?" Narcissa said kindly giving them both a hug and Hermione smiled as she noticed her giving Harry a longer hug and a pat on the back encouragingly as well.

She could see that Harry was becoming more comfortable with the interactions with Narcissa and that they were starting to form a genuine bond and she couldn't be happier for him after missing out on growing up with a loving mother.

Narcissa led them into Harry's trunk's sitting room and Hermione and Harry looked at each other expecting to see them in there when Narcissa said that she'd set everything up in the cinema room.

They made the way into the cinema room that was a lot brighter with the lamps on the wall than it normally would have been. Harry saw that nearer the screen end of the room they'd set up two armchairs turned slightly towards each other for, he assumed, himself and Hermione with a pewter jug and some glasses resting on a small table between them.

The others assembled were arranged in a crescent in a single row around them so that they all had an unobstructed view of where Harry and Hermione would be sitting. They all stood as Harry and Hermione entered the room. Harry instantly saw Parvati who looked very attractive in a Salwar style that complimented her figure except this one was in a peacock blue colour with golden stitching around the edging.

She had her hair tied up into a double stacked bun with loose tendrils of black hair framing her face. Her make up was tastefully done and her lips were a ruby red that seemed to shine in the light. Harry had always thought that the Patil twins were attractive but Parvati really had turned into a stunner.

She watched as Hermione and Parvati both let out an excited noise and went to each exchanging a long hug and started talking to each other quietly and quickly and it reminded Harry that Hermione had lived in the same dorm as Parvati and Lavender for six years and that they would naturally be close.

Harry looked around the room and saw that he recognised a couple of the faces from the event at the train station and started trying to remember their names.

Narcissa went and sat on one of two chairs to the side so she could observe the proceedings. Harry felt a little awkward having to fend for himself while Hermione was talking with Parvati.

Seeing that all the faces in the room weren't Asian, Harry was relieved when Fleur glided up silently next to him and placed a hand on his upper arm. "Do not worry Arry. Just be yourself and everything will be fine." She gave him a reassuring smile and Harry gave her one back and nodded his thanks.

"Let me introduce you to everyone so that you know who everyone is," Fleur said. She made her way along those assembled, slowly introducing Harry and informing him who the person was and which publication they were with.

Harry was happy to see Hilary Han from The Rising Sun and they exchanged bows and Hilary thanked Harry profusely for allowing her to attend the interview and how it was a great honour for the paper.

Next Harry was introduced again to Xu Fong from News from the Wall Magazine in China who, like Hilary, thanked Harry for the opportunity to hear a first account of what happened from Harry and Hermione themselves and reassured him that they would record everything exactly as it was said. Harry was surprised when they thanked Harry for the sacrifices he'd made and his bravery in fighting such a monster so young.

Next, Harry was introduced again to Lu Zang, the extremely direct reporter from The Asian Announcer that circulated all over Asia who had asked Harry a hard question about The Battle of Hogwarts when they had met. Harry joked with her that he hoped that she would go easier on him this time and they shared a joke when he corrected her about calling him Harry again.

She apologised saying it was customary to address people by their titles and also assured him that she wouldn't be asking him any questions today unless they opened up a question and answer session but that she was only here to listen and record what was said and report on it.

Harry thanked her for coming and she shook her head and said that she felt privileged about being invited in the first place. Harry then noticed that Hermione had started going around the media representatives with Narcissa working the line after Harry.

Next Harry was introduced to an Italian wizard named Brutus Facticulus who was a writer for the book called Magical Events of the 20th and 21st Century and Harry knew that Hermione was going to be really excited speaking with him. He was a wizard in what Harry guessed to be about sixty and reminded him a little bit of Professor Slughorn in appearance although a lot more stylishly dressed.

Next he was introduced to a witch who was dressed in a set of tan coloured robes from America named Lotty Lowton and she was a writer, reporter and explorer for a publication called The Encyclopaedia of Magic. Harry apologised and said that he'd never heard of it and saw the look of surprise on Lotty's face.

Fleur interjected at that point and advised Lotty that Harry had been brought up in a non magical household and that was why he hadn't heard of it. She then explained to Harry that The Encyclopaedia of Magic basically reported and recorded any major magical incident around the globe and that they turned up to disasters, accident, battles, press releases, sporting events etc.

Lotty explained that they report on absolutely everything and that she loved her job as she could be in Nepal reporting on gravity resistant trees one day and then off to the Amazon the next to a magical tribe that has invented a shrinking head potion or to the Quidditch world cup final to report on the match.

Harry agreed that it sounded like an exciting job and that he'd hunt out the book and get himself a copy. Lotty and Fleur shared an amused look and Harry didn't get the joke.

"Arry it's an Encyclopaedia of Magic from the days of origin so there are about a hundred different volumes over the centuries. It's not just one book" Fleur said giving Harry a little nudge like he should have known that.

"As for buying it yourself Harry there's no need to worry. The board of trustees have arranged with Fleur to send a full set to both yourself and Hermione's homes free of charge as a thank you for letting us be here," Lotty said, waving off Harry's thanks and offers to pay for the set.

"No Harry it's fine seriously, the board are more than happy to foot the bill and it's not like they don't have the money," she explained before shaking his hand and thanking him again for letting them attend as Fleur moved him along the line.

Next to Harry's surprise was a wizard in his early thirties, dressed in a white lightweight material suit and a large straw hat with several large bright feathers sticking out of the top of it. He had a pleasant smile about his face and penetrating eyes that reminded him so much of Luna. Harry thought that he looked a little like the man from Del Monte but kept this thought to himself, but he noticed Fleur certainly taking in his outfit and then politely coughing to cover a giggle as she saw Harry was thinking the same thing.

It turned out that the man was actually her cousin on her father's side by the name of Maximillian Lovegood and he was there on behalf of The Quibbler.

He explained that he'd taken over the editing of the paper temporarily as Luna's father Xenophilius was taking an extended break from the paper after the events of the previous year, Luna's kidnapping, and wasn't really in the frame of mind to continue with the paper at present.

Maximillian said that Luna had received and forwarded his request to attend and that The Quibbler was honoured that he still considered them his magazine of choice for any interview exclusives he wanted to do.

While this wasn't strictly true, Harry wasn't going to point out that he was happy to talk to other less eccentric magazines but the conversation moved on quickly to the last person in the room that Harry didn't know.

The last witch was in her eighties, if he had to guess, and was dressed like an old muggle gypsy with a black wool bolero over her shoulders. She smiled warmly when Harry approached her and he seemed to have a sense that he recognised her from somewhere before because she was looking at him with a familiarity that very few people could.

"Arry. This is Bethesda Bagshot, her mother was Bathilda Bagshot who I'm sure you know wrote Hogwarts: A History and a History of Magic amongst other things." Fleur said as Bethesda stepped forwards and took hold of Harry's hands in hers and was looking at him almost like he'd expect a grandmother to look at their grandchild.

"It's good to see you again and more importantly alive and well Harry," she said softly, not taking her eyes off him for a moment.

"I'm sorry Bethesda. Have we met before?" he asked with uncertainty, racking his brains because he couldn't remember meeting her or where he possibly might have bumped into her.

"Oh not since you were a baby Harry. Mum used to take me round to your parents cottage when they were in hiding to help play with you while they chatted," Bethesda explained to Harry's surprise.

"I read a letter my mum sent to Sirius and she mentioned that your mum had been round to see them quite a lot when they were in hiding but I didn't know that you'd been there as well." Harry said, a little sad to think that there was another person who would have been fascinating to know and who had known his parents that had been kept from him for all his life.

"Oh yes. I had moved back in with mum that summer. She'd asked for some help proof reading one of her books and carrying out various bits of research, so yes I was at Potter Cottage quite a bit. We loved your mum and dad and it was heartbreaking what happened to them. Mum was never really the same after they were murdered," Bethesda explained.

"Mum offered to take you in after they were killed. She thought it might be good to keep you close to where they were buried and so she could tell you about them and you could still feel close to them," Bethesda explained sadly. "But Dumbledore thought it would be best for you to grow away from the magical world and live with your relatives and that there was blood magic cast on your aunt's house and that you'd need to stay there to strengthen the wards." She explained as Hermione having finished with Maximillian came and stood by his side listening but not interrupting.

Harry felt her hand slip into his and give it a little squeeze as Bethesda talked. Harry became lost in thought with what Bethesda was saying and asked if she wouldn't mind if he corresponded with her after the day was finished so she could relay any memories or stories about his parents to him.

Bethesda smiled and said that she planned on living for many years and would be happy to correspond or meet with Harry to talk about his parents and anything he wished.

Fleur, not really wanting to interrupt, politely interjected into the conversation and said that it was time to start the interview if that was alright with everyone.

"Don't let me keep you both. I'm curious to hear all about what you've got to say regarding how you finished that evil bastard off." Bethesda smiled at them and shooing them off with her hands as she settled into her armchair, shuffling her bottom side to side to get comfortable.

Harry and Hermione took their seats and saw Bethesda take out a piece of parchment that looked like a jumbo kitchen roll and pulled a small table from out of her handbag and set it up along with what looked like a grey quick quotes quill and several ink pots that she unstopped with a wave of her wand.

Harry had to contain a smile as he saw her also pull out a pair of knitting needles and put some glasses on and waited patiently for them to begin. Harry looked around the rest of the journalists and writers assembled to see that they all, along with Parvati, were all sitting similarly awaiting for them to begin.

Harry and Hermione looked at one another and Harry could see Hermione was thinking about whether she should say something but Harry decided to take the bullet and speak first.

"Right well I guess I should start by thanking you all again for coming and I know that you've all travelled a long way to be here as well. I just want to start by saying that this isn't going to be easy for me but please bear with me if I get upset or anything."

"I'm not used to speaking publicly after what's been written about myself and the people I care about in the past and I'm happy that you've all agreed to record and report accurately on what we are going to tell you about the events that happened in Britain last year along with the Battle of Hogwarts."

"The Ministry of Magic in Britain wanted to keep a great many details of what happened confidential but I have come to an agreement with them that I will talk about them publically once and once only. I'm not prepared to have people questioning me in the street about things for the rest of my life so I want to get this all off my chest in one go."

"After we've finished speaking with you all about the events of last year and the parts that are important to disclose building up to them then those who have additional questions can submit them to either Narcissa and Fleur in writing and Hermione and I will decide whether we wish to answer them or not. That doesn't mean that we won't answer as accurately and honestly as we can though."

"We will then speak privately with Miss Patil and Witch Weekly as we've agreed to an exclusive interview with her but we wanted to make sure that several publications knew about the second wizarding war of England. I hope that everyone is comfortable with that." Harry said looking around those assembled and saw that they all nodded their consent when he met their eyes and watched each other incase anyone disagreed.

"Right that's perfect thank you. So I suppose I should start with what happened in fourth year during the Tri-wizard tournament and then I'll tell you about what was going on as Voldemort was rising to power and then the final battle," Harry started seeing an involuntary shiver pass through several members of those assembled.

"Honestly…" Hermione said under her breath, causing Harry to laugh as Hermione explained that if they are scared of a dead man's name then by the time they were finished talking about it they won't be.

For the next three and a half hours Harry and Hermione told the story of Harry's experience in the Tri-wizard tournament's final task, the noticing of a connection between himself and Voldemort during his fifth years and the fight in the Department of Mysteries that led to Sirius' death.

It was at this point that Hermione had taken over the story as she knew it was painful for Harry to talk about but she explained how Harry had been possessed by Voldemort during his battle with Dumbledore and how Harry had managed to prevent Voldemort from destroying his mind.

Harry took over again talking about Dumbledore's lessons and their discovery of the horcruxes that Voldemort had created and Hermione had to explain all about what a horcrux was and how it was formed.

This inevitably led to Harry having to tell them about The Chamber of Secrets and the battle with Slytherin's basilisk. Parvati was actually a real help here giving the other writers background into the abuse and disdain that Harry had bravely endured during his time in second year and throughout Hogwarts.

Hermione again helped Harry through his retelling of the night Dumbledore had been killed by Severus Snape and why Dumbledore had allowed this to happen. The journalists among the group asked a couple of quick questions to clarify some points that Harry and Hermione were making but this worked out to make the process run a lot smoother.

After this, between Harry and Hermione they explained about the Horcrux and Hallows hunt, the latter drawing a gasp from both Bethesda and Maximillian as they explained to those in the room who didn't know about the Deathly Hallows.

As they finally concluded their story feeling emotionally drained they were surprised when all those assembled, even Narcissa, Fleur and a disillusioned Stephen and Sinead Shutton started clapping them both. They both sat there feeling a little strange being applauded for their efforts and retelling of the events that had impacted on both of their lives leaving them scared both physically and mentally.

While they spoke to each other briefly and collected themselves to prepare for speaking with Parvati, those assembled all finished up and started tidying their equipment away except Parvati, and Hermione and Harry noticed that most of them had written out more than one full roll of parchment about what had happened and in most cases had two or three.

One by one the writers came to them thanking them again for inviting them to hear their recount of what happened and most promising to send them a copy of what they had written before they released it if they wished.

Hermione had suggested that they submit them to Narcissa and Fleur as they will more likely be able to reply and get it to them quicker while they were still at Mahoutokoro.

After that, Narcissa had directed the other journalists into the sitting room for refreshments and so that they could collaborate as a group on any further questions they would like answered before they complete their articles.

This left Hermione, Harry and Parvati in the room along with the Shutton's as Fleur closed the door and told them to send a patronus if they needed anything. Harry and Hermione nodded and thanked Fleur as she closed the door with a click.

"Seriously guys. Like wow. I know that you'd been through some crazy shit over the years but how in the hell did you manage to even do your O. with all that stuff going on," Parvati said looking at Harry and Hermione in awe, which made them both shift a little uneasily in the seat. "You both really are heroes. Ron as well but let's face it from everything you just told us it was you two that worked everything out."

"Well Hermione has always been the brains of the operation and she made sure that we studied and got qualified but I just wish I hadn't wasted time on subjects that I wasn't really interested in and don't have any real world application unless you're gifted." Harry said, getting a nod of agreement from Parvati. "Besides obviously Hermione's always been the looker of the three of us as well." He added, causing Hermione to blush and Parvati to smile knowingly.

"When did Harry become such a smooth talking charmer Hermione?" Parvati asked as she looked at Hermione.

"I don't know. He does it instinctively these days but I think it's probably been since he and Ginny split up." Hermione said honestly while Harry shrugged his shoulders and said he wasn't charming or a smooth talker at all, just honest.

Parvati got up from her armchair leaving her writing equipment on it for a moment and then took her wand out and summoned her chair and all the equipment closer to Harry and Hermione and then retook her seat.

"There that's better now I can talk to you both without making you feel like you're giving a press announcement again." Parvati moved her table alongside her. "So you were talking about class subjects Harry. I take it you're talking about Divination?"

"Yeah I wish I'd taken Ancient Runes instead. All Trewlaney ever did was talk about someone doing me in and well it didn't help me learn anything about the future in the slightest. I've started doing Ancient Runes since arriving and Mahoutokoro and I'm loving it." Harry explained.

"Ancient Runes! Aren't you a little late to be starting to learn Ancient Runes now? You're never going to learn all you need for a N.E.W.T before the end of the school year." Parvati pointed out.

"Oh I don't know he's almost learnt enough since the summer and in school already to have Master Yamagoshi considering putting him in for his O.W.L in Runes towards Yule if he continues at the rate he's learning at." Hermione proudly stated.

"Really?" Parvati asked, her eyes wide in surprise. "You've picked up that much in that amount of time? I always knew you were clever Harry but if you are that clever then you'd have been given Hermione more of a run for top of the class," she pointed out.

"I've not always been that clever but since I've become the head of so many houses things just seem to come to me easier than they did when at Hogwarts," Harry explained enjoying speaking with Parvati without the audience. It felt more natural.

"Ok so about that." Parvati said, picking up her wand and flicking it at the quick quotes quill and fresh roll of parchment that unfurled itself. She reached into her handbag that was next to her on the seat and pulled out two new ink pots that she unstopped and to Harry and Hermione's surprise a selection of bags of sweets they recognised from Honeydukes and offered them both some Jelly Slugs, peppermint Imps, Rhubarb and Custard Bubble Blowers and some type of pastilles that Harry suspected were Jungle Gums. "Help yourselves," she said, taking a Jelly Slug and biting the end off it.

"So from Ron's interview he said about how you'd all been called to Gringotts for a will reading and that's when yourselves and Neville found out about you being made the heirs to the Hogwarts founders. How mental was it for you all finding that out and how did it come about?" Parvati asked, hungry for the information.

Helping herself to a Peppermint Imp, Hermione explained about them all receiving the invites from Gringotts to attend and how the Horcruxes that they'd each destroyed activated the magic in the last wills and testaments of the founders.

"Do you wish that one of you had been made the head of the Gryffindor family? I mean no offence Harry but going to school with you I'd have said that if anything Hermione should have been head of Ravenclaw since she's the smartest witch I've met and I don't just mean for our age, you're about as textbook a Gryffindor if ever there was one."

"Excessively brave, throwing himself against all sorts of dangers to protect other people, Neville is probably the most loyal person I know so would have been a great head of Hufflepuff house, plus he always worked really hard and well Ron. Well Ron is just Ron. He was probably the one person in Gryffindor who took the Lions versus the Snakes rival the most seriously so it's highly ironic that he's now Lord Weasley-Slytherin." Parvati said to them both as they both agreed.

"I don't think Professor Dumbledore thought it would happen that way if I'm honest. I think that he believed Harry would inherit all the titles of the founders." Hermione said, thinking and wondering how Dumbledore would have known about the titles as they were locked away in ancient vaults in Gringotts.

"I'm kind of glad it happened the way it did. I mean can you just imagine how horrific my name would be then if you added Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Slytherin onto it as well." Harry said, pulling a face of disgust causing Hermione and Parvati to laugh.

"That's a good point. It's already a mouthful," Parvati commented.

"It is but at least this way it's not like I've got to run Hogwarts or deal with the board of governors on my own. I've got Hermione, Neville and Ron to help out and also take some of the attention off me." Harry explained before continuing "Plus if I'm honest the sorting into houses when you first start Hogwarts isn't as clear cut as we sometimes think. Neville, as you know, really blossomed as a Gryffindor academically once he got his own wand that picked him rather than using his dad's for years, but he was always brave but like you say he was hard working and really loyal as well. He told me that the sorting hat was between putting him Hufflepuff and Gryffindor and that's why his sorting took so long."

"My own sorting took a while because the sorting hat thought I'd do well in Slytherin and I asked it not to put me there." Harry said to Parvati's surprise.

"Same with me. The hat thought that Ravenclaw would be the best place for me but in the end after discussing it with him it decided that Gryffindor would be a good place for me. So I think Harry's right in that a sorting might just look at a particular trait you have at the time but it's not as clear cut as most people believe because no one really discusses their sorting." Hermione said as Parvati nodded along.

"I know what you mean. Padma and I both could have gone into Ravenclaw or Gryffindor and Padma chose Ravenclaw. When the sorting hat was talking to me it said I'd do just as well in Ravenclaw, but asked if I wanted to be put with my sister and I asked not to be as I wanted to strike out on my own and not just be 'the twins' so to speak." Parvati told them both and they chatted for a little about how at Mahoutokoro their sorting had gone and explained that as adults their minds were more complex than when they were eleven at Hogwarts.

"Sorry I got us a little side tracked there as this interview is about the both of you. So let's see. Hermione, how do you feel about being the Lady of Multiple ancient and noble houses?" Parvati asked looking at Hermione as the quill scratched away and then stopped mid air poised to start recording Hermione's answer.

"Well it was a shock finding out that Hufflepuff's magic had activated when I stabbed that cup and it's taking me a bit of time getting used to going from a muggle born or NOMA born student to suddenly being head of the Hufflepuff family and even more so the Dumbledore family." Hermione replied honestly. "It's a lot to take in but I'm researching more and more each day with what my responsibilities are and learning each day about what it's going to entail."

"I can imagine it must have been a shock as Professor Dumbledore and Helga Hufflepuff were world famous. Do you think that you will enter into politics or maybe teach in the future?" Parvati asked Hermione who sat thoughtfully for a moment.

"I honestly don't know Parvati. At the moment, I'm just wanting to finish my education, get my N.E.W.T's and then decide from there," Hermione answered candidly.

"But given that you are head of two noble houses and technically could try and establish the Granger family name as a magical house now you could potentially have three husbands. Have you given any thought to that?" Parvati asked leaning forwards and resting her elbow on the arm of the chair.

It didn't escape her or Hermione's attention that Harry also leaned forward to make sure he heard her answer.

"Well I've no intention of starting the Granger family house right now. I was brought up in the muggle or NOMA world and was always expecting to not be a Granger forever although I have only ever wanted one husband and to be with the man I love. Having the option of potentially three husbands doesn't mean I'm going to take it." Hermione said seeing Harry seem to visibly untense himself as he sat back in his armchair again.

"And how about you Harry. Four wives or more potentially if you married a witch who was a head of house." Parvati pointed out to Harry and waggled her eyebrows at him.

"Well… I've not really given too much thought about it," Harry replied, feeling uncomfortable all of a sudden.

"Really? I mean most wizards in your position would be having witches lining up to allow them to proposition them. What I mean is you're the most eligible wizarding batchelor in the world. You're famous, talented, heroic, rich from what I've heard and could probably have his choice of witches if he wanted to." Parvati said, causing Harry to start to blush a little as she looked him over with those lovely dark eyes of hers. "You must have given it just a little thought." She said with an alluringly teasing smile on her face.

"Well to be honest I never really expected to survive Voldemort and I thought that we'd most likely die by each other's hand. I knew if I survived that I would become the head of the Potter and Black families since Dumbledore told me I'd been named Sirius' heir at the end of fifth year but the other two titles were a massive shock." Harry admitted feeling a little uncomfortable about talking about it as well.

Hermione could see that Parvati was amused in making Harry squirm initially but noticed her friend's eyes narrow when she knew there was more gossip available than Harry was letting on. Hermione correctly assumed that Harry wouldn't want to divulge the information about needing a pureblood wife to keep the Black family title and decided to interject on Harry's behalf.

"Harry has told me that he's wanting to concentrate on his education as well and also like me, he grew up in a muggle household and needs time to research and learn what his responsibilities and duties as a head of house are first before he decides anything definitively about his future or those he's going to share it with." She said, getting a warm smile from Hermione and a roll of the eyes from Parvati.

"Hermione you're no fair, coming to his rescue again." She said good naturedly. "I see you're still watching Harry's back. I nearly had him then." Parvati jested as Hermione said she and Harry would always have each other's backs.

"Alright well let me ask you both this. How do you see being heirs to two of Hogwarts founders affecting the world we know today?" Parvati asked.

"I don't really see it making too much difference if I'm honest. I mean all those family lines have been gone or unknowingly continued over the last thousand years since the founders died. Rowena Ravenclaw is the only one of the founders documented to have had children and magical historians will probably be able to verify that better than us."

"But as for what impact it will have today. I don't think much unless we decide to make changes at Hogwarts, but we'd obviously speak together collectively with Ron and Neville as well as Professor McGonagall and the board of governors about any changes we were going to make."

"I think Harry and I have a few ideas from our time at Mahoutokoro that I'd like to propose possibly in the future but for the time being it's not going to be something that will have much of an impact around the world or in Britain." Hermione said with Harry's agreement.

"Ok so moving on," Parvati said looking at them both. "Do you both care to comment on Lord Weasley-Slytherin's claim that he is the true hero of the group?" Parvati asked, seeing both Harry and Hermione's eyebrows arch. Hermione calmly just said "Given what we've been talking about with yourself and the other writers for the last three and a half hours I'll let you deduce yourself the validity in Lord Weasley-Slytherin's statement as well as your own personal knowledge of the three of us."

Parvati reached into her handbag again this time pulling out a muggle notepad and flicking through it as Harry noticed her quick quotes quill scratching furiously on the parchment after Hermione's comment.

"Harry this is for you, why did I see Narcissa Malfoy here earlier and could you explain your relationship with her and how it came about?" Parvati asked as this had been a burning question she'd had since arriving that morning.

"Narcissa is no longer a Malfoy and is Narcissa Black once more. Events occurred that I'm not willing to talk about publicly and without her consent that caused her to be removed from the Malfoy family. Something which I'll be forever grateful for as Narcissa is a wonderful person and I'm now happy to say that she is part of the Black family as is Andromeda Tonks her sister as well as Teddy Lupin my godson. That's all I've got to say on the matter." Harry said and Parvati could see that the subject as far as Harry was concerned was now closed.

"Understood and I won't go into Narcissa's presence anymore. I had to ask for my own curiosity rather than Witch Weekly's." Parvati said to them both. "So can I ask why Fleur Delacour is here or is that something that I shouldn't be asking as well?" She asked looking at them both.

"Fleur is our friend but she is also here in an official capacity. She's employed by Gringotts and is carrying out work on mine and Harry's behalf as she's working alongside our account managers," Hermione said as Harry nodded as well.

"Account Managers? As in more than one?" Parvati asked, "I'm assuming that along with these titles you've inherited that you've also inherited gold from Gringotts as well if you need account managers to look after it." She asked about getting nods from them both.

"Yes Hermione's two account managers in England and I've got three but we've both also got an account manager here in Japan that we are working with alongside Fleur and we've just hired Yushiro and Yushiro solicitors to officially represent us here in Japan and we also have solicitors in England as well. Sloop and Everard of Horizont Alley." Harry said to Parvati's shock.

"Wow you've two have really moved up in the world haven't you." Parvati commented, looking at them both with a state of awe for a moment. "Speaking of moving up in the world. Where the hell did you get this trunk? It's amazing and I want to know where I can get one." Parvati asked, which caused both Harry and Hermione to laugh.

"What's so funny?" she asked them both.

"How long have you been sitting here thinking that?" Hermione asked.

"Since they showed us in, do you mind letting me see what else is in here?" Parvati asked.

"Sure I'll give you a tour of my trunk when we're done and then I'll take you down the corridor to Hermione's and you can see hers as well. Hers is styled differently and she's picked what she wants in hers." Harry offered.

"The corridor?" Parvati asked, looking puzzled.

"Yes Elliott created magic that forms a corridor leading to mine and Harry's trunks so that we can get to each other quickly even if we are in different places. For example if I'd left my trunk at Mahoutokoro and Harry's was here then all I'd need to do to see him is go into my trunk and down the corridor connecting our trunks and I'd be with him. No weird sensation like a portkey or apparating but just as easy as walking from one room into the next."

"That's amazing and whose Elliott?" Parvati asked as Harry took over.

"Oh sorry. Elliott is Elliott Eaton who's the Manager and Creator of these trunks at Eaton & Co. Trunk Makers, which is at the corner of Knockturn and Diagon Alley." Harry said and noticed Parvati's quill do a couple of hasty underlines and then circled it.

"Well it's really fabulous and it's really clever magic." Parvati said impressed as Harry and Hermione rattled off some of the features of the trunk and saw that Parvati was suitably impressed and he told her that if she ever wanted a trunk like it to go and see Elliott and let him know she was their friend and he'd probably give her a discount.

"I'll definitely get in touch with him. I think my mum would love one of these and I know that it's bigger than most of the flats I've been looking at to move out to." Parvati said.

Wanting to draw the interview back into focus, Parvati quickly moved on, "I heard a rumour floating around the Banzai Bazaar that you were both involved in a fight in a nightclub with the infamous Jade Dragon gang, would you care to comment?" she asked looking at Harry first, assuming that if either of them were in a brawl in a club it would be Harry purely because she knew that Harry would most likely put himself in the firing line first to try and protect someone he cared about.

"Erm I'm not sure we should," Hermione said looking at Harry who replied, "It's alright Hermione."

Parvati sat forward again eager to hear some gossip, "We were at Pulse nightclub along with Narcissa, Fleur, our solicitors and some of our new business partners celebrating. We were dancing with the Japanese National Quidditch team as they were all celebrating their victory in the game that afternoon."

"Some members of the Jade Dragon entered the club and started attacking the National team, which we later found out is something that happens regularly here as they want to kidnap and hold them to ransom."

"We didn't really get involved but tried our best to get everyone else out of harm's way." Harry said and Hermione thought that was very well done as he'd not painted a target on their backs saying that they'd actually done any fighting.

Parvati however wasn't to be deflected from the topic. "So you're saying that you didn't get involved in the fight at all then? With your duelling experience and power Harry surely you'd have been a helpful asset in a fight. I've seen what you can do first hand." She said recalling seeing some of things that both of them could do during the DA Classes Harry ran in their fifth year.

"That National team had it all in hand and didn't really need my, or should I say our, assistance." Harry said, trying not to smile at another attempt to side step the question. "Besides all I wanted to do was protect those I care about and I wanted to get them out of harm's way. We came here to finish our education and enjoy ourselves. Neither Hermione or I want to get involved in another conflict after what we've literally just been through in England." He said shutting down the subject again and not leaving any room to give a follow up. "Next question," he said while reaching forward and putting a rhubarb and custard bubble blower into his mouth.

He grinned at them both as he then started blowing bubbles out of his nose as he sucked the sweet in his mouth.

"Ok to you Hermione, what advice would you give someone who has the spotlight and fame thrust on them for something they have no control over?" Parvati asked, referring to her list of questions.

"I'd say for that person to try and remain who they were before they were famous. Harry for example was famous for something he didn't even know about and even when he learnt of his fame he didn't suddenly change the way he was," Hermione replied looking at Harry with admiration.

"I've seen Harry suffer the worst things that anyone can imagine. He's suffered loss and hardship that most wouldn't ever understand if they lived to be a hundred but he's still the same amazing person he's always been." Hermione said reaching across and resting her hand on Harry's as the silence stretched out for a while and all that could be heard was the scratching of the quill on the parchment.

Parvati noticed Harry turn his hand and take hold of Hermione's hand in his and cocked her hand to the side but chose not to say anything. She was curious and also a little delighted at this development. Not entirely for the story angle but also because she always thought they were both extremely well suited.

"Harry, same question," Parvati prompted, looking at Harry curious as to what his answer would be.

"I agree with what Hermione's saying of course. You should always be yourself and I think be as humble as you can. I mean Lockhart for example loved being famous even though he was famous for things he never did."

"I'd say to try and stay as grounded as possible as money and fame can't replace the people you love and care about and they are really what make life worth living." Harry answered giving Hermione's hand an affectionate squeeze as they both stared into each other's eyes for a few moments.

Parvati watched this for a moment and wished that she had a camera to get a photo of them looking at each other like that as it was so cute. Parvati had never been in love so to speak but knew that the two people in front of her were very much in love and she couldn't help feel happy for them as they both practically glowed when looking at each other.

"Ok Hermione this next one is for you." Parvati said, causing them both to break eye contact and look at Parvati. "I know better than most that you love to read and that you research everything to a crazy degree. But what I want to know is what's your favourite non magical book and what's your favorite magical book?"

"Wow that's a tough one." Hermione thought, thinking about it quite hard, the silence stretched out for an age and Harry and Parvati ended up talking amongst themselves for a few minutes leaving Hermione deep in thought.

Eventually Hermione seemed to come up for air and said "Alright magical book I'd have to say Hogwarts: A History. It was the first book I read when I found out that I was a witch and I read it so many times when I was at Hogwarts for comfort and when we were on the run last year that it's always going to have a special place in my heart." Hermione said as Parvati nodded a little surprised that it wasn't something more academic.

"Non magical I'd have to say The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and the rest of that series by a muggle author named C.S. Lewis. Before I knew about magic I found their version of magic and this magical land called Narnia absolutely invigorating and amazing."

"I'm almost sure C.S. Lewis must be from a magical family and maybe even a squib as the wardrobe was like a vanishing cabinet and there are other things in the book that just seem to like real magic now that I know magic exists and have seen first hand what it can do." Hermione said, giving a confirming nod that that was her final answer.

"Ok that's great and I'll have to do some research into this C.S. Lewis and their family to see if your hunch is right." Parvati said, turning to Harry.

"Right so Harry let me ask you. Have you ever used your fame to get something for free and if so what was it?" Parvati asked as Harry had to think.

"Well I've never asked for anything for free but I have got things for free I think because I was famous. For example when I went to get my books for our second year, Gildroy Lockhart was doing a book signing for Magical Me when we got there and he spotted me in the crowd. Next thing I know he's grabbed me along with this Daily Prophet reporter and dragged me to the front to have a photo together and then he made a big show of giving me all his books free of charge."

"I ended up giving them to Ginny and buying my own. Other than that the only thing I can really think of is getting free ice cream from Fortescue's in Diagon Alley but that was because Florean was enjoying helping me with my History of Magic assignments in the summer before my third year," Harry replied. He couldn't really think of anything he'd got for free because he was famous although he was sure there was plenty but he didn't want to look like an arse.

"What about your Nimbus 2000? Didn't you get that for free from Nimbus?" Parvati asked.

"No actually. Professor McGonagall got me that," Harry replied with a little smile on his face recalling when he first got his broom and caught his old head of house's eye in the great hall and seeing her nod to him subtly to confirm his thought about who had purchased it.

"Really? I thought teachers weren't meant to show favouritism." Parvati said jokingly.

"Well Professor McGonagall was Quidditch mad wasn't she. She didn't want Slytherin to keep winning the Quidditch cup and she saw obviously what a brilliant seeker Harry was and wanted to give him every advantage possible. I'm assuming you aren't unhappy about it being a fellow Gryffindor." Hermione said, seeing Parvati shaking her head.

"Oh no I'm delighted about it. I used to love watching Harry flying on that thing and he always won on it." Parvati pointed out before looking back at her notes.

"How about you Hermione did you ever get anything for free because of your fame?" she asked her friend.

"Erm well nothing major but a couple of stationary places and book shops I frequent have given me the odd thing for free but I wasn't sure whether they'd just forgot to charge me for them as they never actually said it was for free."

"I've had people buy me drinks in bars and things as a thank you for last year but that's about it really" Hermione answered with a shrug.

"Ok here's another one for the both of you. Have you ever contacted the media on yourself to get exposure?" Parvati asked shaking her head like it was a stupid question and assumed it was Lavender's.

"What? God no. Do you not think I've had enough bad press coverage over the years without wanting more?" Harry asked aghast.

"No Parvati, neither of us have and like Harry says he's had enough lies about him written in the past that he wouldn't bring exposure on himself like that and neither would I. We tried to keep ourselves under the radar before we left and when we arrived in Japan but other people have leaked that not us." Hermione said closing off the question.

"Fair enough. It was a stupid question but not one of mine." Parvarti said, shaking her head at the next one as well. "This isn't mine either." She explained looking at them both pointedly and saw them both nod their understanding.

"So apparently our readers want to know what you are both worth now being head of multiple houses." She said to them both as Harry and Hermione just rolled their eyes before saying "no comment" at the same time before smiling at each other.

"Ok so I understand you don't want to disclose that which is perfectly understandable but let's say when you go out with your non famous friends do you pay or do you split the bill? '' Parvati asked them.

"Well I don't mind treating my friends to anything. I never have but if I did I wouldn't be doing it to be flashy or anything but because I wanted to treat them. Most of my friends always had money and I was always reasonably sparing with my money that I had in my trust vault because I didn't know that it was topped up from the Potter family vault and I assumed that I'd have to live on it for the rest of my time at Hogwarts," Harry explained.

"So is that why you always wore clothes that were too big for you for the first few years at Hogwarts? Sorry I'm not trying to sound insensitive but everyone always wondered why such a famous wizard from a wealthy family as the Potters never wore clothes that fit." Parvati asked knowing that it was a bit of a horrible question but she had in fact always wondered why he wore such things.

"Well I get it. I can understand why people think that but my relatives that I used to live with hated magic and me. They never wanted to have to look after me, so they never spent any money on me as they were always spending their money on their own son." Harry explained managing to keep the bitterness out of his voice.

"And they didn't spend money on buying you new clothes so…" Parvati started to ask.

"So they ended up giving me my cousin's hand me downs or should I say clothes that he got too fat or outgrew." Harry said tilting his head to the side. "When I blew up my Aunt Marge…" Harry explained Hermione clarified he meant inflated his aunt not making her explode.

"Right yeah so when I blew her up I left the house and went and lived in the Leaky Cauldron for a bit and decided that it was time to start buying some clothes that fit me better," Harry explained.

"Well that makes sense as your school equipment and your uniform was always top of the range. I had to ask Harry as I'd just always wondered as it just seemed a little odd and I never wanted to ask at school to make you feel uncomfortable." Parvati said apologetically.

"It's alright. It's in the past now and I can buy all the clothes and things I want of my own choosing now, so it's all good." Harry said with a shrug before helping himself to a jelly slug and biting the head off it and then sucking down the apple flavoured gloop inside it.

"And what about you Hermione? Do you pay or split the bill?" Parvati asked knowing the answer but having to ask it all the same.

"I'm the same I wouldn't mind paying but my friends always prefer to split the bill equally as we don't want to get into a who had what and itemising everything. But they also like to treat me, so thankfully it's not become a problem or come up yet." Hermione said honestly.

"Brilliant. So I have to say I absolutely love the outfits you two. Where do you like to get your clothes and things from now?" Parvati asked from her list and thought that the question was a good, timely one.

"Well I bought a lot of things from Madam Malkin's. Alicia Spinnet is working there now and is designing some amazing stuff. She designed all our outfits for the ministry awards and ball and most of my magical wardrobe." Hermione gushed slightly as Parvati asked her to stand up and give her a twirl of her outfit.

Hermione feeling a little silly stood up and did as requested before retaking her seat. "As for my non magical clothes, Harry took me to a wonderful shop in London called Selfridges and I spent the whole day there with a personal shopper and bought everything I need there as well." Hermione said as Parvati made another personal note it seemed as the quill scratched underlining something.

"So this is a Madam Malkins outfit that you're wearing right now as you look beautiful?" Parvati asked, thinking how Hermione looked amazing.

"Thanks Parvati. Actually no this isn't a Madam Malkin's. I got this from a shop here in Banzai Bazaar." Hermione said proudly.

"Really? Which shop? Madam Miko's?" Parvati asked, sitting up and her interest peaked.

"Erm no actually it was a shop called "The Witches Secret" but you won't be able to find it unless I take you there," Hermione said smiling.

"I've never heard of it. Is it on Loveer's Lane? I've got to admit I've only ever been down there once with Padma for a quick look but didn't get to have a proper look as we were shopping with my mum and step mum and didn't want to get caught down there." Parvati asked, interested to know.

"Love Lane?" Harry asked as Parvati looked at him.

"Yeah like the Bazaar's version of Knockturn Alley except that place really does have some unsavoury characters down there." Parvati said giving an involuntary shiver as she recalled how sleezy some of the men down there were.

"I didn't know there was another street in the Bazaar. I thought I'd been down them all." Harry said reaching into his robes and pulling out the map of the Bazaar he'd swiped from his first visit to The Rack Shack and started looking for it.

"You'll not find it on the map Harry. It's not something they advertise in the brochures or anything as it's a bit of a seedy reputation hence the name, but there are some pretty cool shops and bars and stuff down there." Parvati explained as Harry still looked throughout the map. "But I wouldn't recommend you going down there and certainly I wouldn't advise you to go there on your own either Hermione." She warned the pair of them.

"I can't see it? Where is it?" Harry asked, still looking around the map.

"It's a hidden passage on the side of the train station but you are probably better sticking to the rest of the Bazaar. I know a lot of the Jade Dragon's members hang around down there." Parvati said explaining to them both how they got into Lover's Lane and again pointing out that it's not the sort of place to take a girl and to best steer clear.

Harry decided to drop the subject and thought he'd asked the rest of the Turtle & Dragon guys when he got back to school whether they'd heard of it.

"But enough about Lover's Lane. You said this shop isn't on Lover's Lane Hermione" Parvati said, pulling the conversation back on track.

"No it's on The Emperor's Road but it's only been open a couple of months but you won't see it as it's warded under some sort of disillusionment charm and you can only see it when you are either shown it by someone whose been or have already been." Hermione said seeing Parvati's eyes light up at the thought of a secret clothes shop.

"And you don't mind taking me to it when we're finished here?" Parvati asked, getting an affirmative nod from Parvati, who let out an excited squeal and started gushing about what she was hoping they sold there and checking in her handbag to make sure she had her purse and beseecher book.

"Are you going to tell Parvati about your little business venture and that you've invested in it?" Harry asked Hermione quietly.

"Yes but I'll tell her later so it's not on the record so to speak" Hermione quietly replied giving him a wink as he gave a little chuckle at her cunning.

"Right enough about clothes let's talk about what you've both got going on inside them." Parvati said, causing Harry and Hermione's eyes to bug out a little and Hermione to splutter an "Excuse me?", which caused Parvati to break down into a very Parvati-like giggle.

"Oh relax you two. I just wanted to say that you both look great but our readers want to know how much you both exercise or work out to stay in such great shape." Parvati explained with a self satisfied smirk at bringing a blush to both of their cheeks.

"Well we have Quidditch practice a couple of times a week and Harry has been giving me some private flying lessons as everyone in Mahoutokoro seems to be a natural on a broomstick and you know I'm not." Hermione said, getting a laugh from Parvati who pointed out she wasn't either.

"Plus the landscape at Mahoutokoro is built onto the side of a mountain so the legs get a work out walking from the main school buildings back to Tiger Land, which is my clan area, but that's about it," Hermione concluded.

"I assume you're still carrying around a bag full of school books as well." Parvati said looking at Hermione with a smirk.

"Well no actually as Mahoutokoro has a brilliant system for using magic scroll instead of books but I'm not sure whether I'd be breaking the school charter by talking about them in more detail," Hermione said to Parvati who said it was alright as she was more interested in Hermione than the scrolls.

"And you Harry. You're looking a lot more buff than when you were at Hogwarts, let me have a proper look at you, stand up." Parvati commanded as Harry looked at Hermione who sat back in her chair and crossed her legs and indicated for Harry to stand up and with her elbows on the arms of her chair she interlocked her fingers on her lap.

Harry feeling uncomfortable and like he was a show pony stood up and to his surprise so did Parvati. Harry watched as Parvati started walking around him looking him up and down and surprised him when she placed her hand on his chest and looked him dead in the eyes quite unashamedly. Parvati ran her hand up chest and onto his shoulder, before running it down and then his right arm giving his bicep a little squeeze.

He lost sight of her as she went behind him trailing her fingertips across his shoulders and down his back as she made her way around him before running her hand down across his left arm and seeming satisfied took her seat.

It wasn't lost on Harry that as Parvati crossed her legs this time she didn't move to cover her exposed leg and calf that the slit in her skirt revealed this time. Harry couldn't help his eyes looking along Parvati's smooth thigh and calf down to the gold ankle chain that twinkled in the light of the room and a heeled sandals from which he spotted her painted toe nails that matched her outfit.

Harry looked up and saw Parvati looking at him in a little more of a sultry way than she was before. He gulped a little as she looked like a lion eyeing up an antelope.

"Well you've really been working out Harry. You were never this buff when we were in Hogwarts together" she said to him admiringly. "I remember when you were skin and bones pretty much and now look at you. Broad shoulders and chest, big muscly arms. You've clearly been doing more than just the Quidditch practice." She said making eye contact with him again.

"Well I've started using the gym at the school and in my trunk and I've started swimming at Turtle Island but that's it. Nothing else really." Harry said, feeling a little awkward and looking to Hermione for help as Parvati's behaviour was weirding him out more than anything.

Hermione for her part was actually interested watching Parvati's demeanour towards Harry change a little and was a little confused as to why she wasn't feeling the usual stab of jealousy when she saw an attractive witch looking at Harry. Maybe it was because she knew Parvati so well and knew that Harry felt nothing like that towards Parvati.

Sure Parvati was very attractive and looked extremely exotic in her outfit, but she knew that Parvati hadn't really ever fancied Harry. When she went to the Yule Ball with him she was more excited to be starting the ball off with one of the Champions more than anything.

Although in the build up to the ball Hermione had also noticed that Parvati was talking more and more about how good looking Harry was. She'd even asked Hermione why she wasn't going with Harry herself and Hermione had told her that someone else had asked her first and she couldn't break her word that she would go with them.

She knew that the Patil sisters could have probably gone with anyone and had been surprised that they were still not already taken for the Yule Ball when Harry had asked. Hermione after she'd calmed down about Ron ruining her own night had been glad to hear about Parvati saying that it had been great being at the ball with Harry initially but then Ron had completely soured the mood.

"Well keep doing what you are doing Harry as you look amazing. Very fit." Parvati licked her shiny lips causing Harry to gulp and adjust his collar. Hermione felt better when Parvati caught her eye and gave her a conspiratorial wink that caused Hermione to cover her mouth with her hand as she understood Parvati was messing with him.

"So have either of you ever gone on a date with someone to deliberately cause a stir or to enhance your or the other person's reputation?" Parvati asked, checking her list of questions again.

"I've not." Hermione said as Parvati countered that going to the Yule Ball with Viktor Krum caused possibly the biggest stir than anything else their whole time at Hogwarts. Hermione countered that she hadn't agreed to go with Viktor to cause a stir but agreed to help improve inter school relations and to get to know more about him and Drumstrang.

Parvati clearly not believing her let it drop and looked to Harry. "Harry?" she asked as Harry thought about it for a moment and said "I suppose I have yes."

"What? "Hermione and Parvati asked together at the same time, completely surprised by Harry saying that.

"When?" Parvati asked.

"Who with?" Hermione followed up quickly.

"I can't believe you'd date someone for your own gains Harry that's so not like you." Parvati said shocked that Harry would date someone for his own personal gain.

"Who did you go out with to boost your own reputation?" Hermione asked a little panicky thinking it might be one of the Rune's girls or worse someone else he'd never told her about.

"Well I did go on a date of sorts for my own personal gain and to enhance their reputation in a way." Harry said seeing both girls looking at him clearly a little disgusted.

"Well tell us then?" Parvati asked her quill hovering above the parchment as the silence stretched out and then weirdly looked turning towards Harry as if it was a snake.

"Luna Lovegood." Harry said with a shrug.

"Wait what?" Parvati asked, her jaw dropping a little.

"Luna?" Hermione repeated trying to think of when Harry could have taken out on a date.

"Yeah in sixth year to Slughorn's Christmas party. You wanted to ask Ron to make peace with him but he was with Lavender and I was going to ask Ginny but she was seeing Dean."

"Then I thought me and you could have gone together but you'd already agreed to go with Cormac McLaggen." Harry explained as the memory seemed to slot into place for Hermione.

"Oooooooh right, I get it." Hermione said understanding.

"Well I don't. Care to enlighten me?" Parvati inquired. She didn't know Harry had been on a date with Luna Lovegood.

"Well like I just said I had to go to Slughorn's Christmas party. Professor Dumblefore had tasked me with retrieving a memory from him and I needed to befriend him so to speak. I couldn't not go and when Hermione told me that she was going with McLaggen I decided to ask Luna. I did it for my own gains as I knew Luna and I would have a laugh, well you know what Luna's like and she didn't disappoint. She caused plenty of conversation stoppers that caused me to crack up." Harry explained as Hermione understood what Harry now meant.

"I was going to say that you should have invited me after the disaster that was the Yule Ball but I will let you off as that was more Ron's fault than yours." Parvati said moving on to her next question.

"So sticking with dating. Hermione what would be your ideal first date with a wizard? There will be plenty out there wanting to ask you out." Parvati asked sensing Harry moving uncomfortably in his seat.

"Oh erm." Hermione said, a little caught out by the question. "Well I suppose it would be more about who it's with rather than what we did." She said looking quickly at Harry who she noted was listening with interest to her answer. Parvati latched onto the look straight away and batted it across to Hermione.

"And what about you Harry. What would you do to woo a girl on a date?" Parvati asked Harry.

"Well I suppose like Hermione says it depends on who the girl was and what they liked that would depend on what we would do," Harry said thinking that was a good, honest and safe answer.

"I'm not letting you off that easy as that's pretty much what Hermione just said." Parvati said thinking this would be a fun way of getting them both being honest for once. "Say you'd asked Hermione out on a date. You know her and what she likes, what would you do?" she probed.

"Oh… Well if it was Hermione I think I'd take her into Muggle London and take her to some of the tourist destinations on offer and lunch in a nice café somewhere. Then after eating I'd take her on a walk I think and I'd have her tell me more about herself growing up."

"I know that sounds a bit weird but when we were on the run last year we had to do a lot of walking around the countryside and I enjoyed her tales as a young child and her telling me about where she went on holiday and stuff like when she was telling me about going to the Forest of Dean with her mum and dad when we were younger for example. It was one of the only things that made last year bearable learning about Hermione as a young girl and her life more."

"Erm after that I'd probably just take her back to Potter Manor and let her loose in my library for a couple of hours while I made us a nice meal and then maybe watch a film together on the sofa." Harry said looking at Hermione who was smiling at him thinking that was so Harry. He knew that she wouldn't be wanting to go out publicly or anywhere really super fancy on a first date. But what he had described sounded perfect for what she would want to do as well.

"Sounds lovely but I don't think that is "wow" enough for our readers. Besides you know Hermione and you've been best friends for years, so you know what she likes as I'd imagine that would be a great date for you Hermione am I right?" Parvati asked Hermione who gave an affirmative nod and said it sounded perfect to her.

"So lets say it was a witch you liked the look of while you were out on a night out and she'd said yes to you asking her out. She doesn't really know you, as in the real you and you don't know her but there's a physical attraction. What would you do?" Parvati asked Harry, hoping for something a little more juicy.

"Still depends, let's say she liked Quidditch. I'd take her to see a Quidditch match and then would take her out for drinks and dancing and a night on the town. Harry Potter style." Harry shrugged as he just gave the most Ron like answer he could think of.

"If she wasn't into Quidditch then I'd take her shopping probably and then for a nice meal somewhere." Harry added hoping that would satisfy her curiosity and he wouldn't have to make up what "Harry Potter style" was.

"So how about when you go on a date? Do you get left alone? Do you get people wanting autographs and photos all the time?" Parvati asked as both Harry and Hermione started nodding.

"I think in Japan everyone has a camera with them all the time and I've been stopped a lot more or approached by people asking for photos and autographs. I feel like a bit of a twonk doing it but I try and oblige as much as possible but a lot of the time there are too many people to do all at once."

"My friends suggested carrying already signed photos with me to give out but that seems abit too Lockhart for my liking" Harry said as Hermione said that she had been stopped a lot more in Japan than Britain but that was because they tended to use notice me not charms and other things when they were out in Britain or asked for private rooms in places.

"So you've both got account managers for your bank vault accounts. Do either of you have personal assistants, housekeepers or house elves yet?" Parvati asked them both not sure how this was going to go.

"Well my mum and dad are living at my home at the moment but it's Helga Hufflepuff's old house so it actually came with a housekeeper who lives in the adjacent property so I've got a housekeeper yes."

"I wouldn't say we've got personal assistants but Narcissa Black is obviously helping Harry out with some of his commitments being as he's now her head of house and Fleur is helping us with a lot of things through her role in Gringotts."

"Then we say we've Sloop and Everard and Yushiro and Yushiro as my legal council in Britain and Japan respectively." Hermione said not wanting to name names for the Ericsson's and Frieda's privacy.

"And you Harry?" Parvati asked Harry who squirmed a little.

"Well I've a lovely couple who are my housekeepers at Potter Manor and I used to have a house elf at the Black family home named Kreacher who unfortunately died at the Battle of Hogwarts." Harry said his stomach knotting at the mention of Kreacher as that was two house elves who had died trying to protect him and his friends.

"I've a grounds and house keeper along with two house elves at The Raven's Nest, which was the Ravenclaw family home for years and like Hermione said our solicitors and that's it. I try to stay as active as possible in running my own households as best I can but it's good to have some help" Harry replied as modestly as he could make that sound.

"Excellent. Right then let's move on to some more random questions," Parvati said checking her list again.

"Hermione how sneaky were you as a child?" she asked her friend.

"I wasn't sneaky at all. I was well behaved I think, you'd have to ask my mum and dad though." Hermione replied honestly, kicking herself instantly at the mention of asking her parents.

"Harry what about you?" Parvati asked, understanding why Hermione suddenly looked uncomfortable as she looked at Harry and was about to say he didn't need to answer when Harry replied completely unphased.

"I was sneaky growing up with the Dursleys. I had to be because I had to make sure that I could get food and would have to sneak bits of food or drink back to where I slept. Plus sometimes when they hadn't locked my door I'd sneak into the living room and watch cartoons on the tv before any of them got up." Harry said wanting to get the question over with and move on so the girls didn't feel awkward.

"Ok question for both if you had a broom made for you by a manufacturer what would you call it?" Parvati said before adding "That sounds like the sort of thing What Broom Magazine would ask not Witch Weekly" shaking her head and looking between them both.

"Hermione," Harry said, giving Hermione the option to answer first.

"Erm I think I'd call it Pegasus" Hermione answered. Parvati cocked her head to the side.

"What does Pegasus mean?" she asked and then to both her and Hermione's surprise Harry answered the question for her.

"A Pegasus is a mythical winged divine horse, and one of the most recognized creatures in muggle Greek mythology" Harry said looking at Hermione. "It's actually a really good name for a broom especially if they painted it white and had the footrests made to look like little wings." He said grinning at her. "I won't bore you with details about Greek mythology Parvati but I reckon a lot of it will have grounding in magic somewhere along the line." Harry said to Parvarti as her quill did the underlining thing again.

"What would you call the Harry Potter broom Harry?" she asked Harry who thought about it for a second.

"I think I'd call it The Grim after my godfather," Harry answered as Hermione chuckled.

"And why the Grim?" Parvati asked and Harry replied because when the other team saw it they would think it's the beginning of the end for their chances.

"Brilliant. No doubt one of the companies will use that or ask permission in an endorsement deal," Parvati pointed out before moving to the next question.

"What's the most pointless and useless purchase you've made so far?" Parvati asked them both.

"Ink erasers from a muggle stationary shop. They don't work on magical ink at all." Hermione said without even thinking about it.

"And you Harry?" Parvati asked Harry rolling her eyes at Hermione's answer amused.

"I don't know really. I bought a set of magical candle sticks that are meant to play music when the candles are lit. Don't know why I'd want that but there you go" Harry said grinning at Parvati seeing she was happy with his answer.

"Ok next and I think the answer to this would be obvious but if you were caught in any sort of trouble who would you go to first to help you out of it?" Parvati asked, already moving to the next question as they said to each other.

"What's your favourite thing in your closet?" Parvati asked her quill scribbling away.

"Erm I'd have to say my Firebolt." Harry answered, "Although I've got a wicked pair of shoes that look like something a member of the Rat Pack would wear that I'm looking for an opportunity to wear." Harry answered before Hermione explained about the Rat Pack and who they were.

"I think I'd have to say my pyjamas." Hermione answered, causing the others to laugh. "What I like to be cozy when I'm reading and my pj's are the most comfortable thing I have." She said with a shrug.

"Well that's not what I expected from you Hermione but fair enough," Parvati said with a laugh.

"Oh do either of you have any bad habits or things that you do?" Parvati asked the two of them. "How about we mix it up as you both know each other so well. Hermione does Harry have any bad habits or things he does all the time without realising?" she asked as Parvati studied them both as they thought.

"Harry pushes his glasses up his nose when he's about to say something important. Also when he's concentrating really hard when he's studying he licks his lower lip before he writes" Hermione answered, grinning at Harry as she had noticed him doing that for years.

"I do not push my glasses up when I've something important to say or lick my lip." Harry said, trying to think whether he did.

"You do Harry. I've seen it in class enough and during the DA whenever you were teaching us something that could potentially save our lives you always pushed your glasses up first," Parvati countered. Hermione gave him a "told you so" kind of look.

"So what about Hermione then Harry? Any habits she's got that she's going to deny?" Parvati asked, turning the tables.

"Oh Hermione's got loads." Harry answered. Hermione shook her head and said "Lies... I don't do anything like that."

Parvati raised her eyebrows, "I think Harry's about to prove you wrong." She knew loads from Hermione's bedtime ritual and her morning routine amongst other things.

"Well when you're nervous about something you do this cute thing where you bite your lower lip. Let me see before you start writing you always lay out your parchment at an angle towards the left, you lay your quill down beside it before unstopping two ink pots and then you brush your hair back over your ears before you start writing." Harry explained as Parvati clapped and said "Yep seen those two before."

"Also whenever you have an English breakfast you always cut everything up into three pieces and then you do different combinations with each bite but you always leave sausage and black pudding for your last bite." Harry said grinning at Parvati who started giggling as Hermione's mouth hung open slightly at Harry rattling these quirks off.

"Alright then when you eat an English breakfast you always build a little wall with your sausages so that your bean juice can't touch anything else." Hermione said triumphantly, wiping the smirk of Harry's face.

Harry narrowed his eyes and was about to fire another salvo when Parvati intervened. "I could probably write a couple of pages on both of your habits in class so let's move on. This is from one of our younger readers who won a contest to submit a question to you both. They want to know if you were an animal magical or muggle what would be and why?" she asked, looking to Harry first.

"Well I know my dad was a stag animagus and that's what my patronus is so I should say that I'd be a stag because then I'd feel closer to my dad but after having a fight with a Hungarian Horntail I'd want to be one of them. No one would go messing with me then." Harry answered as Parvati said it wasn't a bad choice before asking Hermione what she would be.

"I think I'd like to be a Phoenix as they live a long life, can fly and are magical. Plus they are pretty." Hermione thoughtfully replied.

"Ok great answers. Another question from a reader who won a different contest. If you found out you only had one day to live what would you do with it?" she asked looking at Hermione first this time.

"I'd want to spend my day at home having a BBQ with my parents, Harry and all my friends." Hermione answered instantly knowing that's exactly what she'd do.

"And you Harry?" Parvati asked the quill pausing while waiting.

"I'd want to spend the day with Hermione and other people I cared about just having fun, eating, drinking and enjoying each other's company and then I'd probably have one last drive in my Lambo and hope that that is what does me in," Harry answered. Parvati asked what a Lambo was and Harry had to explain about the car and Parvati nodded that she understood but that Harry was causing her to do a lot of research about stuff muggle studies never told her about.

"Ok Harry this one is for you. Is it true that you're a sleep walker and that's why you got caught exploring the castle at night?" Parvati asked.

Harry and Hermione both laughed at that, "No I'm not a sleep walker but I did explore the castle at night a lot on my own, yes. If you shared a room with Ron and Neville you'd understand as they both snore like a pair of elephants." Harry replied, getting a laugh from them both as Hermione confirmed Ron's snoring was really loud.

"Brilliant. Alright Hermione, this ones for you. Is it true that you are planning on going to live permanently abroad in France and settling down there?" Parvati asked as Hermione shook her head.

"No that's not true. I've a lovely home in Wales and while I might go on the odd holiday to France I've no intention to live there permanently," Hermione clarified.

"Ok then Harry name one thing that makes you smile more than anything else?" Parvati asked as Harry thought about it for a moment.

"I'd say Hermione. She's got this habit of always making me smile even when I feel down about something," Harry answered. Hermione blushed a little at the compliment.

"And you Hermione have the same question." Parvati asked as she thought that it was really cute how they were looking at each other.

"I'm not just saying it because he said me but Harry always makes me smile. Even when I don't realise that I'm being a bit moody he always cheers me up by doing just little things for me like he hides a little slip of parchment in my bag with little messages and stuff in class that I find later on or he cracks a joke or points out something that I've not seen. He never fails" Hermione said looking at Harry and smiling at him before biting her lower lip.

Parvati decided not to point that out as the two of them were looking at each other so adorably that she didn't want to break the spell so to speak.

"Ok so here's a serious question for you both. Why did the two of you never go on a date or get together? You're both really well suited for each other." Parvati asked knowing that probably everyone who went to Hogwarts and saw Harry and Hermione together were going to cheer for her asking a question that everyone wanted to know the answer to.

"Well I don't think Hermione ever felt for me that way in Hogwarts and well I kind of had Voldemort or one of his followers trying their best to kill me every year." Harry replied, giving a shrug and tearing his eyes away from Hermione.

"Is that true Hermione? Have you never had any romantic feelings towards Harry? I know every girl in Hogwarts and beyond would probably have loved to be as close with Harry as you have been." Parvati countered watching Hermione look at her pleadingly for a moment and Parvati knew that she'd hit the nail on the head by asking the question as everyone had seen how much they cared about it other and how stupid it was them both not seeing it.

"Well Harry and I were friends in Hogwarts and we went to Hogsmeade with each other and Ron pretty much every time we went. The only time we didn't was when Harry went on a date with Cho Chang." Hermione said, hoping that Parvati would drop it.

"But you both went to Hogsmeade in fourth year without Ron when he was being an arse along with most of the school about Harry being in the Tri-Wizard tournament? I'm only asking why romance never bloomed between you both." Parvati kept pushing.

"Well it didn't really have the chance as we have been friends for so long and Harry was playing peacemaker between me and Ron half the time and I was doing it between him and Ron for the other half and…" Hermione stalled for a little bit before deciding to move the spotlight of her. "Besides Harry's never really fancied me romantically anyway." She said not looking at Harry as he sat up.

"That's not true at all. I fancied you for ages but just didn't ever mention anything because we were friends and I didn't think you'd ever feel the same way so I kept it to myself." Harry countered as Parvati sat up like her seat was on fire.

"Hermione you're the smartest witch I've ever met sure you must have realised Harry fancied you. The rest of the school did." Parvati said watching them both turn and look at her.

"What?" Harry asked as Parvati nodded.

"If you two knew how much gold changed hands behind the scenes on betting when you two would get together you probably wouldn't believe me. I've always thought it obvious that the two of you fancied each other but I just assumed it was because you didn't want Ron to feel awkward or like a gooseberry that you didn't get together." Parvati explained as both Harry and Hermione didn't seem to want to meet her or each other's eyes.

"Parvati, can we leave this out of the article? Ron would go mental if he read some of this. He's always been jealous of me for no real reason but this would probably get him pretty mad as he's going out with Hermione." Harry asked Parvati whose face looked like she'd lost a galleon and found a knut.

"But this is important. I've wanted to know for years why you never got together and you're both clever enough and it's pretty obvious that you care deeply about each other. Don't even think of saying you think of the other like a sibling because one neither of you have got a sibling so wouldn't know and two I've lived with you both for six years and I saw the looks you give each other, the hugs, and even today you've touched each others hands and stuff, which you never would have done otherwise," Parvati tried to argue.

"Parvati please. You're opening a bottle with a genie in it that once released can't get put back in. I'm technically still going out with Ron so it would potentially destroy all our friendships if you turn this article into some sort of love triangle thing and none of us will come out looking any good." Hermione pleaded with Parvati. "Please just leave all this out of the article and I'll talk with you off record about things." Hermione said not wanting to tell Parvati her suspicions about Ron and Lavender Brown and not wanting to air her and Harry's dirty linen in public.

Harry turned to look at Hermione at that comment about telling her off the record and he felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up as Hermione put a hand over his and he understood that to mean not to worry about it.

Parvati was torn as she had a gut feeling that she was onto something here but was stuck between wanting to push for the real story that Harry Potter and Hermione Granger might be in love. She knew that Lavender and Ron were going out and living together in England but Lavender was her friend and had told her not to say anything to Harry or Hermione when she'd floo called her before Parvati had set off for the Bazaar.

"Alright fine I won't put it into the article but I want answers and I'll know if you're lying Hermione because I've seen you try and lie about things before and you aren't any good at it." Parvati said intent on grilling Hermione about Harry when they were alone.

Harry and Hermione both breathed a sigh of relief as neither of them wanted Ron reading about Harry and Hermione fancying each other regardless of whether it was true or not.

"Alright so Hermione where do you see yourself in five years?" Parvati asked Hermione, wanting to keep things going.

On and on it went for what felt like hours but was actually only another hour and at the end of the interview Stephen and Sinead Shutton had disillusioned themselves to Parvati's shock. They'd introduced themselves and said that they'd got some great photos and that a member of Witch Weekly was more than welcome to come to the shop next week in Knockturn Alley if they wanted original photos to go with the article.

Parvati asked if she was in any of the photos and they nodded that she was. "Just get your editors to write to us or pop into the shop if they want the photos and we can talk about rights and how much they'll cost them." Stephen said in a friendly enough way but Harry knew that he'd be making sure that Harry got a bit of money for the photos, which today were just him sitting chatting with two of his friends so wouldn't be so bad.

After they'd come out of the room to see Fleur and Narcissa sat on the couches in Harry's living room with Master Kuzuko all laughing and having a cup of tea together. On the coffee tables there was a selection of sandwiches and other things that had been left by the media. No one else was present so Hermione had suggested that Parvati get a tour of Harry's trunk with Stephen and Sinead and she'd have a quick word with the ladies and make arrangements for taking Parvati to The Witches Secret and what they had planned that afternoon.

After Harry had shown Parvati around both his and then Hermione's trunks, along with enduring a teasing from Parvati about how many photos Harry was in, on Hermione's bedroom wall. They arrived back at his living room to see Fleur, Hermione, Narcissa and Master Kuzuko sat down still and they all looked at Harry as he entered.

Harry noticed the slightly frosty atmosphere in the room and wondered what had been going on in his absence. Narcissa had the Malfoy aloof face on like she knew she was better than everyone in the room. Master Kuzuko was almost pouting, while Fleur and Hermione looked amused.

"Is everything alright?" Harry asked a little tentatively.

"Everything is fine Harry." Narcissa answered, cutting off Satomi who was about to speak. "Satomi and I just had a difference of opinion in regards to yours and Hermione's escort requirements and it's all sorted now." She said as Master Kuzuko crossed her arms over her chest irritably.

"Satomi?" Harry inquired, looking at Master Kuzuko who seemed relieved about getting to put in her two knuts worth into the conversation.

"I just suggested that we all travel throughout the group together as Hermione wants to take Miss Patil to The Witches Secret and Fleur wants to go as well and collect a Miss Clearwater from Kendo's as well," Master Kuzuko explained. "I pointed out that it would be more practical to all go together and that way I can assure your protection as well as Hermione's. Narcissa however disagreed that you would want to accompany us to a women's clothes shop." She concluded looking at Harry expecting him to want to join them.

"Well I can't say I'm particularly fussed for going round a clothes shop for hours on end. I thought we were meant to be going to Fujiyama's theme park this afternoon?" Harry asked, seeing Master Kuzuko fall back into her seat defeatedly.

"See I told you Harry wouldn't want to go looking at women's clothes and things. He's a wizard and the only interest he'd have in that is seeing the clothes on the witches but not standing around while you all talk about whether your underwear would be visible through skirts you're looking at." Narcissa said triumphantly.

"Well if that's what you're going to be doing I might change my mind." Harry jested as Parvati swiped Harry across the arm.

"Owww what was that for?" Harry asked, amused but rubbing his arm.

"Don't be such a perv Harry it's unbecoming." Parvati said. Harry and Fleur met each other's eyes and Fleur gave him a knowing smile and he had no doubt she was recalling bumping into him in the shower quite literally when living with Ron's Aunt Muriel.

"I'm only joking but honestly Master Kuzuko I've been on a shopping trip with Hermione for clothes and as much as I wouldn't mind seeing the shop she's invested in I don't think I want to subject myself to another day of waiting around." Harry said as Hermione tutted.

"Honestly Harry it wasn't that bad and if I remember correctly you ended up going off amusing yourself anyway." Hermione said, crossing her arms.

"But Harry after the Jade Dragon attack last night I need to make sure you're safe in case anyone recognises you," Master Kuzuko explained.

"And I told you Harry is more than capable of looking after himself and I'll be with him the whole time until you return," Narcissa said again and Harry picked up on the two of them probably having quite a bit of back and forth between them.

"Yes but I've been charged with looking after both of them by the Grandmaster and them going off separately wasn't part of the arrangement," Master Kuzuko countered.

"I understand Master Kuzuko and I wouldn't want to put you in an awkward position with the Grandmaster or get you in trouble. But Narcissa is right and I'll be off with Hermione or my Clan mates next weekend when we come to the Bazaar and I'll be on my own with them then anyway."

"How about you go with Fleur, Hermione and Parvati and Narcissa and I will let you know where we are planning on going and then we all meet for lunch and then go together at Fujiyamas?" Harry suggested seeing everyone was happy with that plan except Master Kuzuko who he could see was still conflicted.

"Satomi, I'm positive Harry will be fine and he's more than capable of taking care of himself and he won't be alone but will be with Narcissa. It will only be for an hour at the most and if need be once I've taken Fleur and Parvati and introduced them to Kayleigh and the girls we can meet up with Narcissa and Harry straight away and the Fleur and Parvati can join us when they are finished." Hermione said, turning to Parvati and Fleur.

"That is of course whether you want to Parvati and you don't mind Fleur." She said as Fleur replied it was fine with her and Parvati said she'd love to go to Fujiyama's as she's never been in the time she's been to the Bazaar before with her parents as they were too busy going to where they needed to go.

"Alright then that's settled it then. Satomi I can understand your concerns but I assure you I'll be ok and truth be told I'd feel a lot more comfortable knowing that you are looking after Hermione and Fleur than me," Harry said, being honest.

"That's very sweet of you Arry," Fleur said as they all started to stand up.

"Yes Harry, that's very sweet and considerate of you, I promise that I won't be long but for Parvati and Fleur I can't say." Hermione said as the French and English witch looked at each other with a grin.

"Well we girls love to shop and if this place is as good as you and Kayleigh and the other girls were telling me about last night then my expense account might be getting a little bit of a battering. You can blame Hermione for that Arry as it's her idea to send me there." Fleur joked to Harry and Hermione.

"Right then let's go, the quicker we get going the quicker we get to Fujiyama's as Harry and I want to spend a good amount of time there before we have to go back to school." Hermione said almost apologetically to Harry.

"Right ok let's get moving then ladies and Harry we'll see you in a little while." Master Kuzuko said getting to her feet and straightening her karate suit out before heading out of the trunk into Narcissa's suite. Harry noticed that she didn't acknowledge Narcissa and could tell that his Dueling Master was a little annoyed at the brunette witch.

"See you in a bit" Parvati said giving a small wave and Fleur bid them an au revoir and gave Harry a peck on the cheek much to his surprise before making some crack to Parvati about showing her how to shop as they to left the trunk leaving just Harry, Hermione and Narcissa.

Hermione came to a stop before Harry and said "I'm sorry this weekend hasn't been more about just me and you having some fun. But I promise the next time we come to the Bazaar just the two of us… Or three of us that we'll spend the whole weekend together and I won't take you to a single book shop." Hermione placed her hand on Harry's upper arm and noticed that Parvati was right. Harry really was putting on some muscle.

"Wow that's a promise I should probably get you to write down." Harry said grinning at Hermione, "Besides it's my fault really. I kind of blindsided you with speaking about all the stuff from last year and I feel kind of bad about that now as it wasn't fair." Harry apologised looking down at his feet as he felt that ball of guilt in his gut.

"Harry it's alright. I think it was a good idea as it's got it out the way and we never have to talk about it ever again now unless we want to," Hermione said kindly. Seeing he felt bad she continued, "There's no need to feel guilty Harry. We got through it together and I got to see one of my friends who I've not seen in ages as a result of you sorting it all out. It's totally fine I swear." She took both his hands in hers and gave them a little squeeze.

They looked at each other and smiled shyly at each other as Harry nodded. "Ok. But like you say next weekend we come here it's going to be just you and me alright." Harry said, getting a small excited nod and a lovely smile from Hermione.

"Not if Satomi has anything to say about it," Narcissa muttered, flicking through the list of questions that the writers had left.

"I better go," Hermione said not really wanting to leave Harry but knowing that the others were waiting.

"Yeah," Harry replied, feeling the exact same way. "Try and be quick though as I know what you witches can be like when it comes to clothes shopping." Harry said, earning him a playful punch on the arm.

"Don't make out that you weren't shopping for clothes all day when you went Harry as all the girls in Selfridges said that you were there for so long you even had to get lunch there half way through." Hermione said playfully as Harry laughed and said that he was guilty as charged.

Hermione went up onto her tiptoes and planted a light kiss on Harry's lips and said "I better go but send me your patronus and let me know where you decide on for lunch." She said getting an affirmative nod and a "be safe" from Harry as she disappeared through the exit of his trunk and Harry was left alone with Narcissa.

"Well then I guess we better get moving as well. Don't want to waste your time in The Bazaar hanging round inside your trunk, do we." Narcissa said looking up from the list of questions before taking her new wand and vanishing the food and drinks lying around just as Harry was reaching for some sort of bao bun on a tray near him.

"Hey I was going to eat that," Harry objected.

"We're meeting them for lunch Harry. You don't want to ruin your appetite," Narcissa countered.

"I know but all that talking made me hungry. I wasn't going to stuff my face, just a bun or two. Besides I'm a growing boy," Harry said as Narcissa rolled her eyes.

"Eat too many of those bao buns and you'll be growing the wrong direction." Narcissa scolded playfully. "Anyway we've got something to do before we meet with them and I thought it would be quicker if it was just me and you going rather than a big group of people." She added, giving him a smile.

"Where are we going?" Harry asked Narcissa sensing she was up to something.

"We're going to look at a potential business investment opportunity for you Harry. I didn't want all of us to go because it's not in the Banzai Bazaar and I know Satomi wouldn't be happy if she knew we were going outside of the Bazaar. But we've got to hurry Harry as they only have a limited window to speak with you today and have invited us to their home." Narcissa said almost bursting, wanting to tell Harry what it was but also not wanting to ruin the surprise.

"They've invited us to their home? Where is their house?" Harry asked Narcissa not sure whether this was such a good idea.

"It's just outside a city called Kyoto and they wrote to me this morning giving me their floo address so we can floo over there but we've got to get moving." Narcissa said urgently taking Harry by the hand and walking him out of the trunk into her suite.

"So we're going to a different part of the country. God I'm going to end up getting in trouble for this, aren't I?" Harry wondered with a sense of foreboding.

"Oh come on Harry stop being such a stick in the mud," Narcissa said trying to raise his spirits. "This could be an investment opportunity of a lifetime." Narcissa said, grabbing her handbag from a sideboard as they passed to make their way to the door of the suite as she let go of Harry's hand.

He watched Narcissa put the strap over head as Harry's eye unconsciously looked down, noticing that the leather strap of her bag went between her cleavage over her dress making her breasts a little more obvious as Harry tore his eyes away and reminded himself that Narcissa was family now.

"Sounds like this is something really big. So what is it?" Harry asked, seeing the sparkle in Narcissa's eyes as she seemed so full of life considering how dejected and lost she seemed when she first came to Japan begging to be let back into the Black Family. "It's got huge potential and I think it's something that you'd really be onboard with. As for what it is.., well don't spoil my fun," Narcissa said giggling to herself.

"Alright well I guess it's not going to do any harm having a talk about it but if I get into trouble then I'll blame you for leading me astray," He reiterated with a grin.

"For Merlin's sake Harry. You're the Lord of four Ancient and Noble houses and you're Harry Potter. You aren't breaking any laws and if anyone gives you a hard time, if they find out, then send them my way and I'll give them what for." Narcissa chided with a light laugh and pretended to do a couple of muggle boxing jabs causing Harry to laugh and shake his head at how happy and giddy Narcissa was acting but not wanting to stop her. He was happy to see this playful side of the former pureblood trophy wife persona that he'd only ever seen.

"Why does it have to be now anyway? Why not another day when we have more time?" Harry asked. Narcissa locked her suite door and grabbed his hand and pulled him to the lift half way down the corridor, her excitement evident. Harry couldn't help laughing at her enthusiasm.

"Amy told me that she'd got wind of this through her daughter and it's an idea that the family is throwing around and Amy said that we might want to get in early to speak with them about it." Narcissa explained pressing the button for the lift a couple of times impatiently. "So no time to waste as the quicker we get there the more time we'll have to talk to them and floo back without appearing rude. We can hopefully arrange another proper meeting to talk about it more in depth another time if they are interested in what you have to say about it." She explained. The doors of the lift finally opened and Narcissa stepped in the lift and pressed the button for the ground floor to see Harry still standing in the corridor outside the lift thinking.

"This all seems a bit rushed, Narcissa. Can you not just tell me what it is?" Harry pleased while also surprised to hear that Amy had got the tip off from Yoko and wondered what it could be.

"I'll tell you on the way to the floo and apparition point and stop looking so worried as it's only an informal chat to meet them and hear what they are thinking. You're not committing yourself to anything as you might not like the idea but I think you'll love it. I must say it's very good of Amy's daughter to relay this to her as the way Amy told me about it she didn't think her daughter was doing anything other than giving her a juicy bit of insider gossip but this is a brilliant opportunity for us… I mean you." Narcissa said as the doors started closing and she stepped forward grabbing him by the upper arm and pulling him forwards quickly.

Harry, with Narcissa's help, stepped quickly into the lift just in time to avoid getting hit by the doors. "So is it something that she heard at Mahoutokoro then?"

"Yes, I'm assuming so," Narcissa replied. "Their daughter is in one of your Clans isn't she?" Narcissa asked.

"Yes that's right, in Turtle Clan. Yoko Hami kept her birth name rather than taking Yushiro as her name but apparently the three of them, Yuki included, get on like three sisters. I'd like for you to meet her some time as she's a really nice girl. Very pretty, clever, good flyer and kind." Harry said, nodding to himself.

"Very pretty?" Narcissa asked, cocking an eyebrow at Harry and a teasing smirk on her face.

"Yeah... sure." Harry said with a shrug of his shoulders trying to act nonchalant at her ribbing as the doors of the lift closed and they started their descent as his mind started thinking about the good looking Japanese girl and how kind she'd been to him when he was having his panic attack in Turtle Island.

"Prettier than Stacey Wong who we met?" Narcissa probed teasingly at Harry.

"No comment," Harry said, smirking back and rolling his eyes at her causing her to laugh lightly.

"Hmmmm… Now I don't know whether that's a yes or a no. Stacey Wong was a very pretty girl." Narcissa said thoughtfully and out loud for the ribbing of Harry. "But I'll get a clarification out of you one way or another." She added, giving Harry a nudge with her elbow playfully.

"You can try." Harry countered, giving her a wink and offering her his arm, which she took with a smile as the doors to the elevator opened and they stepped out into the lobby.

"Ooh, challenge accepted!" Narcissa said gleefully, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
