There is a key that can bring peace or cause mortal destruction. This key was believed to be passed down to people with a strong bold heart. This is the story of the discovery and dispute of this key and its powers.
The keyblade.
Part 1. The discovery
"I have no more ideas", muttered a disgruntled scientist. "These strange black creatures will just keep COMING!". "Don't strain yourself Lintz" said one of his assistances. "JUST SHUTUP CRAN", shouted Lintz. "You've been on this project for years and you haven't solved anything, as a matter of fact you know nothing more than you did five years ago when you started this whole thing" said Cran. "Your right, im chasing a dream that will never happen, these creatures are going to keep coming and our army's will soon retreat" said Lintz. All of a sudden there was a knock at the lab door. "Come in", announced Cran. "I have strange news for you", gasped a tired cop. "What is it", ordered Lintz. "Down in the slopes where the soldiers are, a book was found", gasped the cop. "Do you know what it says?" ordered Lintz. "No, but I can bring the book here if you want to see it for analysis", said the cop still gasping. "Okay", said Lintz, "take Cran with you, he'll bring it to me". "Sure thing", said the cop motioning for Cran to follow. The door then closed leaving Lintz in his lab alone and curious.
A couple of hours later Cran came back exhausted and breathless from the run back. He had in his hand an old dusty book which had a strange writing on it. "Hand me it", demanded Lintz. Cran handed the Lintz the dusty book and Lintz observed closely and muttered to himself. "This is going to take awhile to decode so Cran you might want to call it a night". "Alright" said Cran slowly staggering to the door. The door closed behind Cran and left Lintz all alone and curious once again but he had a job to do, to find out what that book was about.
After months of work he could only decrypt one sentence. "The keyblade is to find its first wielder here". "What did it mean" he thought. "Did it mean that this so called keyblade will find its wielder here in this town or was it somewhere else". This left Lintz in a state of utter curiosity and excitement of what is to come. Then one night Lintz's life changed forever. He heard a large bang come from the hallway and then he saw a bright flash. He ran out of his bedroom and stood and stared in awe as he watched his assistant Cran floating in a gold aura with the book by his side. There was an awkward silence then Lintz said "Cran, can you hear me". "Yes I can" said Crane. "What is going on Crane" said Lintz in a shocked yet subtle tone". "The keyblade has chosen me and now I know everything about the black creatures and what the keyblade is and its secrets." said Crane. "Then tell me TELL ME!" demanded Lintz. "The keyblade was created to seal the door to the light and the black creatures are called heartless" Crane said," the heartless are people who have lost there heart to darkness". "Then what will the keyblade do", asked Lintz. "The keyblade is the only thing that can defeat the heartless", Cran answered," the keyblade can cause great and utter chaos or it can bring everlasting peace; I have chosen peace". "Peace for my family and for the whole world and possibly the universe". "There is still much to learn about this key and its power but I have chosen to go and defeat the heartless alongside the soldiers". "Hey, and who knows, maybe starting a new journey will not be as bad as I think". He drifted down from the air and a key appeared in his hand. Lintz followed Cran as he walked out of the hallway and outside; Lintz then stopped and stared at him. "You have been a good friend to me but now i must go and help the soldiers fight the heartless" Cran said. "Goodbye". Lintz stood and waved bye as Cran walked into the morning break horizon.
