Bree clipped in the gold earrings, slotting them into the small punctures in her ears. She winced as the slightly closed hole was opened again – she hadn't worn earrings for a few months. Pushing herself away from her dressing table, she stood and made her way to the briefing room, her red gown trailing after her.

As she rounded the corner, a shadow-Maraquan Gelert collided with her, "Hey, Bree, have you seen…whoa, you look, um, nice," he stuttered. "Thanks Jet," she replied before gently pushing past him.

The Darigan Peophin flung the doors to the briefing room open. A Kyrii looked up, immediately frowning deeply from her position at a desk, "Bree, take off your bangles," she snapped motioning to the three gold bracelets around Bree's tail, "I thought you were going to dye your hair as well, and put on make up to cover your markings!" the Peophin rolled her eyes, crossing her 'socked' arms over her chest, "Kachi. Chill. If anyone does recognise me, they won't remember it. I'll make sure of that."

The fire pet sighed, "At least your most obvious markings are hidden…" Bree's hoof instinctively adjusted her fringe, which was concealing the ruby in the centre of her forehead. The other markings Kachi mentioned were the black spiral on her thigh, but that was always hidden, and the identical symbols on each upper arm, the ones that they each had in their own elemental colour. This was hidden by her dress straps.

Glancing at her watch, Kachi looked up, "5 minutes to take off. Everything you need is on the helicopter," Bree nodded and stood, leaving the room. "And take those bangles off!" was thrown at Bree's back as the doors swung shut. She sighed and slid the jewellery off, holding them loosely in one hoof.

As she walked on, she passed a cloud Shoyru with black markings, "Good luck Bree," said the Shoyru, nodding at her. "Thanks Chan. I'll need it," smiling briefly at Chan, she stepped into the lift and pressed the button that would take her to the roof. She glanced at her reflection in the mirrored walls as the room speeded up the building and sighed. The mascara on her lashes, the gold necklace, thedangly earrings, the low cut red dress…it wasn't her style at all.

Reaching the roof, where the helicopter pad was, she climbed aboard, nodding a greeting to the pilot. The shadow Lupe's gaze lingered on her for a moment before he returned the gesture. Going to her seat, she found a red handbag that matched her dress. Opening it, she found brown contact lenses, a brunette wig and powder the same colour as her fur. Dropping her bangles into it, she began to cover her freckles with the powder as the helicopter's blades began to whir and they lifted into the air.
