Kellie was waiting in the casino office when Johnny escorted Selina Wu in.

"I'm impressed, Mrs. Morgan," Selina said, "I expected to get a few more rounds of Poker in before being summoned to your office."

"My apologies If I misread the situation and interrupted your play, Mrs. Wu," Kellie said, "But considering I've never known you to visit my particular casino, I thought you might have a reason for visiting."

"Well, your father did recommend I check out your casino," Selina said, "I happen to love a good game of poker. But you are correct, I was hoping to speak with you."

"About what exactly?" Kellie asked, "I'm trying to figure out what's so important you'd come all the way down here. It's not like you couldn't reach out to me through Jason at least."

"Or your father?" Selina said.

"Sonny and I aren't really on speaking terms right now," Kellie said, "Personal family stuff. I'm sure you know how that goes."

"Of course," Selina replied, "While I could I have spoken to Jason, I really felt this was conversation you and I should have in person, considering I believe we both want similar things."

"What similar things could you possibly be referring to?" Kellie asked.

"Ensuring Port Charles remains peaceful," Selina said, "Though our reasons for that may be different. You want to raise your children near family with much less danger than there has been of late. I, well, would like certain activities to be less high profile and minimize any scrutiny."

"That maybe so," Kellie said, "But I'm failing to see how I'm necessary to this conversation."

"I assume that you're aware Sonny was recently a target of failed hit," Selina said, "and your husband as well. I hear that you also may be a target as well."

"Selina, I've been around Sonny's business for years," Kellie said, "I'm not surprised to hear there might be a target on my back. If you have any specific information you can share, I'd appreciate it."

"Unfortunately, I don't have any concrete information," Selina said, "Though I wish I did. Cyrus would be my first guess followed by some unknown upstarts who staked a claim on Cyrus's holdings out on the west coast. But I don't think I'm telling you anything you don't already know."

"What I don't know is what you're angling for," Kellie replied.

"Your father has changed," Selina said, "When he initially got his memory back, it appeared the old Sonny Corinthos was back. He made decisive moves, including splitting Novak's territory to both our benefits. However, as time as gone on, he seems to be increasingly distracted from the business, if he's even interested in it all."

"Distracted or disinterested how?" Kellie asked.

"Nothing specific yet," Selina said, "I just get the sense Sonny seems to be lacking the ruthlessness necessary to maintain his position. Given how precarious the situation has been in Port Charles of late, I need assurances the leadership in the Corinthos organization is stable."

"I think you forget that Jason is able to take care of things if for some reason Sonny isn't," Kellie replied.

"Might I remind you Jason just let Sonny take back over when he got his memory back," Selina said, "Can you be certain that your husband isn't so happy to have his old friend and business partner back that he might not be objective about Sonny's ability to stay in power?"

"Jason has usually made sure that things run fine in the past ," Kellie replied heatedly, "I don't see how this would be any different."

"But you're not 100% convinced are you," Selina replied.

"Even if that was true," Kellie said, "I still don't understand what you want from me."

"What I want," Selina hissed, "is to know you'll do what's necessary to ensure the Corinthos Organization maintains its position if it turns out your father and husband are no longer capable of it."

Kellie's jaw dropped in disbelief.

"You're a smart and powerful woman, Mrs. Corinthos-Morgan," Selina said, "You're certainly no stranger to your father's world. I'm fairly certain you've considered all of your options when it comes to ensuring the safety of your family. While you certainly make a point at least maintaining the image of being out of the business, I highly doubt you remain uninformed. I'd hazard a guess you've been instrumental in helping Jason."

"Jason can handle the business all on his own," Kellie replied.

"But you're not above using the business when your safety or your children's safety is at stake," Selina said, "You can't deny that. According to my father's sources, you got involved in your father's business and all of a sudden the rapist the law couldn't put away was no longer an issue. You certainly didn't hesitate to take over Sonny's business when Luis Alcazar assumed he'd step in and take over. Your marriage to Jason Morgan, while it's obviously a real marriage between you, you first and foremost married Sonny's enforcer to protect your family, to keep from being forced to marry into one of the other families. All so you could once again utilize the protection of Sonny's business, this time against your rapist's brother."

"Why would it matter to you if I took over Sonny's business?" Kellie asked, "I would think you'd welcome less competition and the opportunity for more control of the territory if that were the case."

"Even you can't be that blind," Selina said, "Right now between Cyrus's holdings along with the Buscema holdings up for grabs, the amount of opportunists looking for a peace of the action is already bad enough. Yes, I know Brick and Brando have entered into a partnership over his east coast ones. But they're new and unproven. Perfect targets for the new blood looking to make a name for themselves. If the Corinthos Organization falls and is up for grabs, I'm sure you I don't have to tell you the blood bath that will follow."

"Believe me," Kellie said, softly, "I know."

"Then I assume you'll do what's necessary to protect your family," Selina said.

"Hypothetically, if that was something I'd consider," Kellie said, "I wouldn't be discussing that well with anyone really."

"No of course not," Selina said, "But I believe we have understanding then."

"Why do you assume that I'd have any success in ensuring a smooth transition of the business," Kellie asked.

"I'm well aware of the power you wield behind the scenes," Selina said, "I can only imagine you'd be just as successful wielding it more openly so to speak. You also have the loyalty of many of your father's long time employees, Corelli & O' Brien, Max Giambetti, Brick, Mr. Spinelli. You're married to and have a child with Jason Morgan. While your husband has certainly been extremely loyal to your father, he'll side with you in the end. Being loyal to you as his wife also means protecting his friend's daughter. I'm not sure that came out right, but I'm sure you get my point. I'm also certain the Giambetti family would back you. While they are primarily in Italy, Maximus senior still holds clout in certain circles."

"I think you assume way too much," Kellie said, "And give me too much credit."

"And you don't give yourself enough credit," Selina said, "Nevermind that. Despite your unwillingness to consciously commit to taking your father's place if needed, I'm satisfied that you would make that decision. You've fought too long and too hard to let your father's possible downfall cause you or your children harm."

"And we're done here," Kellie said, "Enjoy your time in the casino. You'll understand if we don't cross paths again while you're here."

"Or course," Selina said as Kristina burst in.

"I don't know what you want with my sister, Mrs. Wu," Kristina said, "But…"

"But nothing Kristina," Kellie said, "I heard she was here. I sought her out."

"Well still…." Kristina started, stopped only by a look from Kellie.

"Interesting," Selina said, assessing Kristina and Kellie's interaction, "I will take that as my cue to leave. Thank you for your time."

Selina left and Johnny shut the door behind her.

"What did she want?" Kristina asked, "I assume she had a reason for coming here."

"And it's nothing you need to concern yourself with," Kellie said.

"Selina Wu came all the way here to talk to you," Kristina said, "That's not nothing."

"Of course, I know that, Kristina," Kellie said.

"Its Dad isn't it," Kristina said, "His being back isn't making things better is it?"

"I don't know," Kellie said, "That's what I have to figure out. What that might mean really isn't something I should be discussing."

"And I'm not the little kid you used be able to placate with ice cream and candy," Kristina said, "It's not your job or responsibility to protect me. I know what Dad really does for a living. Granted I don't' know everything, but you should have been able to bring your kids home to Port Charles by now. So obviously it's not going well with Dad being gone and back and Jason in charge in between. Unless you plan on staying here indefinitely, then I know you have some really hard decisions to make. Either go back to a volatile and unsafe situation for the kids or you leave Port Charles and maybe even Jason for good. Both of which suck no matter how you decide."

"No, you're not a kid," Kellie said, "But that doesn't mean I still don't want to protect you."

"I get that and that's great," Kristina said, "But for as long as I can remember you have always made sure I was protected from any potential fallout you could. But since I've grown up, I also realize that you take on the burden without always asking for the help you need to do it. And I'm not talking about putting the guards in place and all the other security. It's like you have this lone wolf mentality sometimes. I saw do that with Tyler's illness until you had no choice but to accept more help."

"More like you barged in and took control," Kellie quipped.

"Yeah, well you were exhausting yourself to death," Kristina said, "That's beside the point. The point is I know the risks and the dangers. How can I not? And you're my sister, I want to be here for you, to help you. It shouldn't be all on you to navigate our family through this. Usually I'd assume you'd sort this out with Jason, but when the of the decisions might involve not being with Jason, that might not be the place you'd get some thoughts together. For obvious reasons, I don't think you'd go to your girl gang considering Sam and Jason's history. I know that not the biggest fan of you and Jason when you first got together because I thought he and Sam should have some fairy tale ending. But I saw how good the two of you ended up being for each other. I hate the idea that what's going with the business could ruin that."

"Kristina, I love that you want to help me sort this out," Kellie said, "But I can't have that conversation with you without discussing my relationship to the business and how that's changed or has been changing."

Kristina looked exasperated with Kellie when Johnny interrupted, "I'm going to say my piece and leave you two to finish your discussion. Kellie, I know you take protecting all your family members seriously. But Kristina has a point, you are the not only one that should have to carry the burden for you and your siblings. You definitely can't bounce this off Dante given he's a cop while Michael is probably ready for an all out war against Sonny. You and Kristina could probably help each other. Besides if you and Kristina are serious about the possibility of going into business together however that works, you need to get into habit of treating certains thing between you and Kristina like a business deal and not just typical sister interactions."

"Yes and that means letting me in on crucial information related to Dad's business," Kristina said, "I'm pretty sure after driving all your staff here nuts shadowing and learning from them, I want to open a casino in Port Charles. Obviously the Haunted Star has some gambling, but it's not a full scale casino. Let's face it, it'll be a target for dad's associates or enemies to try things with. If that's the case, I'll need your expertise in that area anyway."

Johnny quietly left the room as Kellie contemplated Kristina and Johnny's points.

"I know everything you and Johnny said is right," Kellie said, "Are you serious about the casino? Are you sure you'd want me to help fund it?"

"Yes and yes," Kristina said, "I'm working on a business plan and next week I'm going on a trip to see how Zach operates his casinos. Then I'm going to work out an arrangement to do different jobs at different casinos to learn even more. If you help with the funding, I don't have to look for investors and screen them. Even then I couldn't be sure if I was getting into business with someone that might try to pull something illegal or sabotage because of Dad."

"If something is more than you bargained for or too much," Kellie said, "You need to tell me. I can try, but I'm sure I'm going to screw up on some point and not tell you something to protect you."

"I think we can work with that," Kristina said, "So what's going on with Dad and why did Selina Wu come to see you?"
