White Eclipse
Chapter 60

"Is everyone okay!?" Makarov asked as he made his way to his feet. He looked around as the mages all groaned as they too stood once again. Everyone was alright it seemed, and Makarov took a deep sigh of relief. "Everyone is fine."
"Well, not everyone.." Calium states as he looks forward. In front of him and the other guild masters, only Arc was seen. He was the only one to duck in time it seemed. The rest of Tartaros had completely vanished. Arc stands back up, and clenches his teeth, realizing that his guild mates were no longer beside him.
"W-what did you do to them!?" Daityas asked in a shaky voice to Zeref, never taking his eyes off where they all used to be. All he could see was Arcturus yet he refused to believe what he saw.
"I didn't do anything. That was your doing." Zeref replied. "My attack we going to cause their bodies to waste away, but you ridded yourself of them completely. I would tell you what happened, but I'm through talking to vermin."
"How...dare you!" Daityas clenched his fists and charged for Zeref himself.
"He's insane!" A random mage shouted as the Demon Slayer neared his target. As Daityas reared back, within a blink of an eye, Zeref creates a shield of death magic that violently expands, slamming right into Daityas. Upon contact, Daityas begins his descent to the ground, nearly lifeless as he crashes into the street spine first. Eyes everywhere were widened with shock.
"He was the strongest mage in the strongest dark guild.." Makarov states as he watched in horror. "And he finished him with one blow."
"Hm." Zeref looks at his own right palm, then clenches it. "Maybe I should of thanked him for the lacrima."
"Okay listen up!" Odin shouts, garnering the attention of the mages.
"We have a plan already set in motion, and you have to cooperate. We need to make an exit out of Magnolia!"
"What is running going to solve idiot!?" Cana shouted back.
"They're just going to find us anyways! Stay and fight coward!"
"Shut up and listen! It's not running, because this is a strategy!"
Ultear then took over. "As we speak, Siegrain is charging the Etherion Cannon back at the Council Headquarters. We have roughly one hour before it's ready. Until then, find a way out! If you're feeling brave, help us contain the threat within the city!"
"That's absurd!" Jaxon shouts back.
"There's no way out of here! They have the entire city surrounded and they're making their way here as we speak!"
"Like I said, find a way out."
"I have a better idea." Makarov says as he turns to Zeref himself. "Lets get rid of them before Siegrain fires."
"You idiot old man." Correll yells. Makarov ignores the ignorant young captain and begins to hold his hands in a familiar position. He sneers towards Zeref who just observes the old man as a golden light forms within his hands. "Usually, I give to the count of three, but a threat like you deserves no warning."
Zeref continues to watch with an emotionless stare. He then looks over to one of his generals. "Bune."
"Giha! No problem Lord Zeref!"
"Fairy Law!"
From the sky directly above Makarov, a giant golden magic seal was created. From that magic seal, a bright light was formed, forcing everyone to shield their eyes as it covered Zeref and his surrounding area. The light shined brightly for a few seconds...and then instantly disappeared with Zeref unharmed. Now standing behind Zeref with an arm raised in the air was Bune. He held an insane smile as he stared down at the wizard saint. "Dispelling magic. No magic works against me, giha!"
"What the hell!?" Jack Macao shouted in surprise.
"He cancelled Fairy Law...!" Wakaba added.
"How are we supposed to beat a general who's invulnerable too magic?" Jack asked as he somehow kept a nonchalant expression. "Heh, such an annoyance."
"How can Jack laugh at a time like this?" Heather asked herself. She quickly snapped out of her own thoughts as her eyes notice the sea of demons nearing them. "Master Calium, we have company!"
"Stick to our plan!" Layanna shouts once again. "Those who are feeling brave, help contain the city! The rest, find a way out!"
"We're not cut out for this!" A couple of random mages from unknown guilds yelled as they ran for the closest city limit. From where everyone stood, it was the North that held the closest exit. A bunch of what was once Fiore's defenses immediately begin running towards that direction.
"Cowards!" Jaxon yells as he turns to the running mages. The mages continued running, until they reached the general who guarded the north exit, Amon of Prudence. With a mere point of the finger, Amon smirks as points downward. "Dark Make: Liger." From his fingertips, a magic circle was formed on the ground right in front of the mages who fled, stopping them in their tracks. From the magic circle, appeared a giant Liger looking beast. It was completely black, blacker than the shadows them self. The beast was as tall as the building Amon stood on, about a good twenty five feet. "Maker magic!? And with just a single finger!?" "It's blocking the exit!" A random yelled.
"What do we do!?" Another one exclaims.
As they all stand in panic, two cards were flung to opposite sides of the giant dark manifested beast. Simultaneously, two twisters fly out from the cards and slam into the enormous liger, causing a shroud of clouds and debris to cover the beast. The two culprits of this attack, Jack and Cana, look toward each other and exchange grins. They then turn back with focused expressions as the Liger walks out of the mist of debris and smoke unharmed. The beast let out a loud roar. The sound waves of the roar became visible dark rings that then hurled towards Jack and Cana and the random mages. "Look out!" Everyone scatters out the way, diving away from the dark rings as the giant liger continues to block their closest exit.
"Hmph." Amon gives a small grin as he watches on. "It's going to take a lot more than some low class mages to stop even one of my dark creations. You two might as well just lay down and let him feast."
"Fat chance!" Cana yells as she pulls out two more cards. A magic circle appears under Jack as he too readies for an attack. Amon begins to chuckle as his side of the demon army begins to swarm the other mages. "This won't take long at all."

"Roar of the Aquatic Dragon!"
"Water God's Bellow!"
After quickly making their way to the south with the rest of their guild and some others, the two aquatic slayers of Quatro Cerebrus simultaneously fire their attacks towards the hoard of demons nearing them. The hard as steel water slams into a crowd as the rest continue to charge the city.
Even though he was surrounded, Bacchus chuckled at his opposition, the endless swarm of demon minions around him. "Wild.."
One by one, Bacchus begin dodging and palm striking, slamming magic palm strikes against the demons in various body parts. Each one falls after one or two hits. Bacchus kept a grin on his face as he continued to dominate the area on what seems by himself. The smile on his face signified that he was no where near close to exhaustion. This caught the attention of the general guarding the south, Danjal of Fortitude.
"...Hm." Danjal curls the right side of his lips to a small smirk. He then snaps his fingers, and just like that, four magic circles appear around Bacchus, hidden under the demons surrounding him. In the next second, from the magic seals, four massive explosions erupt, catching Bacchus off guard as the S class mage is now sent hurling into the air. Danjal jumps from his building, and appears above the ascending Bacchus.
"Bacchus!" Blues and Yaegar call out, but it was too late as Danjal slams his right leg into Bacchus, sending him crashing right back into the ground. As the dust cleared, Danjal stood over Bacchus with a foot on his chest. "This is the defense you mages had to offer? I'm quite disappointed. You must of thought I was some pushover."
Kuro of the water and Rocker begin running to aid their S class Mage. "Bacchus hold on!" Kuro yells. Danjal turns his attention to the God Slayer and grins. "Trail."
He spoke this word, and snapped his finger once again, this time creating a trail of magic seals that lead to Kuro of the water. Danjal snapped his fingers again, causing the magic seals to explode quickly one by one. The trail of explosions quickly catch up to Kuro Water and Rocker, catching them both in the explosion. Hurt, but not out, both mages laid there as the rest of Quatro Cerebrus ran to their sides.
"Kuro! Rocker!" Bacchus growled at Danjal as he grabbed the general's ankle, trying to push him off. "Hm?" Danjal looked down to see the struggling mage and snapped his fingers again, a medium sized magic circle appeared right under Bacchus. "Victim number one."
"Bacchus!"

Over to the East, an odd team highlighted by Levy McGarden and Shadow Gear, along with Heather and Waiston from White Eclipse and Orga and Rufus from Sabertooth began holding off the army of demons entering from the eastern outskirts of Magnolia. With a massive stomp to the ground, Waiston conjures up a giant glacier in the middle of the herd of demons, causing them to fly every which way from the impact.
"Solid Script: Fire!" Creating the words "fire" out of thin air, Levy sends her solid script attack towards the incoming hoard of demons, burning them. Heather joined in as she inhaled the air around her, and then fired off a Poison Dragon's roar. The funnel slams into the demons, clearing an entire line of them, until the floating magic circle above them spewed out even more demons.
"There's no end!" Droy yelled out as he hit a few with his Knuckle Plant attack.
"It's that magic circle in the sky!" Jet yelled back. "There has to be a way to get rid of it!"
"Oh there's a way.." Rufus turned his attention to the general Corson as Orga continued destroying demons with his fists of black lightning. Corson stood with his arms crossed as he returned the look. The white haired mage then uncrossed his arms and raised his left hand with two fingers. A magic seal then appeared in the air over everyone and in the next second, "stars" began to fall from the sky, aiming for the mages. On impact, the falling star like magic would explode with raw magic. No one was ready as the mages in the area were sent crashing and tumbling in every direction. As Waiston opened his eyes after being tossed around by the attack, his blurry vision corrected, only to spot a bunch of demon soldiers in mid leap towards him. Before they could land an attack, Rufus appears with his hands against his own temples. In the next second.."Memory Make." A giant glacier appears in front of him, slamming into the incoming demons and separating them from their victim. Rufus then turns and helps Waiston up to his feet quickly.
"Thanks..." Waiston says with a nod.
"Don't mention it just yet, lets make it out here alive first."
"Levy! Levy are you okay!?" Droy and Jet crouched down to the Shadow Gear leader as she struggled up to her feet.
"I'm fine.." Levy says as she pushes herself up from Corson's last attack.
"I bet if we kill that guy, the demons will stop." Heather says as she stands up with Orga. "It seems like the hardest option, so it's only right..."
"Of course. It makes sense, since he created the seal himself." Levy replies.
"But with an attack like that, and these demons around us, how can we even get to him?" Rufus asked. As he did, Corson raised his left arm again. This time two magic seals appeared in the air, and out of them fired two large "meteors" that crashed down nearly on top of the mages. Just barely diving out of the way, Heather looks towards Corson. "I can take him.."

.

"I..." Aira couldn't manage any more words as she stood face to face with the dragon Acnologia. The enormously large beast stood in front of the wind mage. It's appearance was more than enough to paralyze Aira. She couldn't move a muscle, the only thing of hers moving was her hair and clothing in the wind that Acnologia created when he landed.
The giant dragon raised his front right paw slowly, knowing that Aira wasn't moving anytime soon. He could see it in her eyes she was too afraid. Her shrunken pupils told him all he needed to know.
"Aira! You have to run!" Adamantine yelled as he began forcing his way to his giant claws.
"I...I can't." She fearfully replied. Her eyes now watched as Acnologia's front right claw made it to the peak of it's ascension. The shadow of it's claw covered over Aira as she began to wince prematurely, waiting for the impact.
"Aira! Move!" Adamantine had finally made it to his feet, but he was too late...
As Acnologia swings down, Mithril blind sides him, ramming right into the dragon and pushing him away from Aira. Acnologia goes sliding into the closest line of trees, easily knocking them over. Mithril then turns back to Aira who snapped out of her fearful trance to look back at Mithril in a bit of shock. "You saved me?" She asked the lightning dragon.
"Don't flatter yourself human. I took the opening. Now get out of here while you can. Adamantine, stop being weak and get ready to fight."
"Aira, you can't be here any longer." Adam says as he walks over to and stands beside Mithril as Acnologia makes his way to his feet.
"But!"
"Dammit Aira go! I'll be fine just go!"
After a moments hesitation, Aira reluctantly runs off back to Magnolia to catch up with the other mages. Acnologia sees her leaving and begins to inhale the air around him. Adamantine and Mithril quickly attack again, slamming a lightning dragon's wing slash and an ice infused tail whip to his side. Acnologia slides back a good bit from the attack but stood unphased.
"Heh...so why did you lie to her? You know we aren't going to be okay." Mithril asked and stated.
Adamantine grins. "No need for her to worry. Or anyone else in my guild. Now, enough talk. Lets do what other dragons couldn't."

.

Still standing in the middle of Magnolia, the masters, along with some of their kids stood alert, taking out any of the demons that got through, which so far wasn't many. Yet, the numbers were very slowly adding up. Makarov and Calium began taking out any demon with a random beam of their magic. Ooba began spinning her finger in a clockwise direction, causing a random demon soldier to spin at a high speed, right into it's own comrades. The masters stood in a circle, back to back. Makarov then looks up at Zeref who stood calmly. He then looked over towards Bune, who used his dispelling magic earlier to cancel out Fairy Law. "We need a distraction for that one general to the west. He can dispel magic, so I can't use Fairy Law on Zeref without wasting magic." Zeref squinted his eyes at Makarov. "Now that I really look at him, he looks familiar." As he squints a few seconds later, memories of Tenrou Island flash before him. "He was on that island? But if that's true..." Zeref then speaks aloud. "You, old, shorter male."
Makarov perks up as he realizes Zeref was talking to him.
"You were on that island that Acnologia destroyed years ago, yet you're here and alive. Does that mean that Natsu is alive as well?"
"You get he's alive! We all survived, just like we'll survive this!"
"Hm. This changes everything I considered." Zeref says. "Maybe he is the one then.."
As Zeref finished his thoughts, he looks up to see a floating ship humming in the air. Everyone else looks up as Master Bob grabs attention. "Yoohoo! Sorry we're late!"
Leaping down from the ship, were the Trimen, Reh, Hibiki and Eve along with Jenny, Master Bob and another familiar figure.
"Bob?" Calium asks as he turns to him.
"Yes!" The flamboyant guild master yells out. "And I found someone that belongs to you on the way here!"
Calium slowly smiles from ear to ear. "Just in time. I can't wait to see what your training has done for you."
He grins as he begins walking eastward. "I wasn't gone that long old man. I can't even get in a couple of weeks without this guild in a mess, sheesh."
Bob then speaks again as the Trimen stood guard for any demons. "We informed him of what's going on and he'll be just fine Calium! We need all the help we can get! And speaking of help!" Bob then points to the north where Jack and Cana were, still fighting the giant dark liger. "I tried to pick them up, but they insisted on breaking through the "Man" way, as that buff Elfman would say. Needless to say, the Calvary is here!"
"You mean!?" Makarov turns all his attention to the north. And there they were...
"Fire make: Tornado!" From the distance, a giant tornado made of flames rushes through the crowd of demons in the north, sweeping them all off their feet and burning them as the flew around violently inside the tornado. Once it disappeared...
"Claymore!"
With the quickness of an assassin Skye ran in a blur, slicing demons in half one by one. They were unable to keep up as she made her way into town, leaving everyone a path to walk through along with Kuro.
The liger turned it's attention away from the panting Jack and Cana as it now keened in on Skye who looked up towards the beast with a childish smile. It raised a paw to attack, but before it swung down.
"Evil Explosion!"
"Cosmic Explosion!"
Two beams fire right through the giant liger's head, killing it and causing the beast to disperse into nothing. The angel and demon, Mirajane and Kairi fly through the dispersing liger. They turn and come to a sliding stop on the ground as they looked up towards Amon of Prudence while everyone else rushed inside the city. Amon gave a stern look towards the two opposites, and then smirked. "Hm. An angel and a demon takeover. I've had worse. But you two stand there as if you want to challenge me. Well then, do your worst."

.
Back towards the east side of Magnolia. Orga and the others gave Heather cover as she made her way towards Corson. As she reached him, she swung a poison claw towards his head. It connected, yet Corson's entire body vanished in a body of light. "A fake!?"
Heather turned around right into a hard kick to the temple, hitting the ground and leaving a crater in the process. "Shit, Heather!" Waiston ran towards his guild-mate, only to be cut off by Corson appearing in front of him in a beam of light. Before he could react, Waiston was sent off his feet from the roaring uppercut. As the frozen dragon landed on his back, Corson reappeared on the roof of the building he started on. The rest of the mages slowly began to back up as the demon soldiers surrounded them. Rufus continues backing up until he realized a group of demons rushing towards the downed Heather and Waiston. "Look out!" They all turned to Heather and Waiston, watching helplessly as the demons leaped towards them. As the demons were in mid air, a plethora of magic circles appeared on their chest.
"Huh?" Levy looked on in confusion.
"...Bang."
With two assault rifle style guns in hand, Reve came in to view as e unloaded his bullets on the demons, knocking them out of the air as holes were shot through them relentlessly. In one round, the gunslinger cleared the area around his guild mates of demons. Heather and Waiston groggily sit up as they look on. They stared as if they saw a ghost as the shaggy, Raven haired mage now stood in front of them, looking up at Corson. "Heh. Come on guys, why are you two the only ones on the ground?"
"R-Reve!?" Waiston stutters out.
"We can hug it out later Waiston. Until then. I got that guy up there. The rest of you, hold off the demons until I finish this bastard off."
Corson and Reve lock eyes. Reve grins. "Levy, do me a favor."
Levy looks over at Reve inquisitively. "What's that?"
"Make your way back to the center of Magnolia. Someone's gonna need you there. Just trust me."
Levy nods after a few seconds, and takes off towards the center of the city with Jet and Droy following.
"You guys can handle this right?"
Rufus nods as Orga speaks. "We'll be fine!"
"Good." Reve then turns back to Corson with a grin. "Then lets do this."

Over to the east, Jaxon and Nami took the lead. Jaxon started with his fists covered in lightning. The weather mage charged in head first with his fists reared back. He began slamming them into different demons, dispersing them with each blow. Nami stood back a few feet as she fired off beams of light to take out any incoming demon that Jaxon missed. To their right, Lyon stood in his ice make stance, and fired off a plethora of ice birds that soared into random demons. Knocking them over. Over to the left, Kagura began slicing her way through the demons as she made her way to the general Bune of Justice. Bune stood with a wicked smile as Kagura neared him. Kagura then clutched her sword and zoomed right by Bune as she fired a slash of her sheathed weapon. Only problem was, Kagura missed. Bune easily swayed out of the way, leaving Kagura in mid air when she missed her slash. Bune then turns to her and fires off an invisible bubble of what seems like raw magic. Kagura activates her gravity magic to avoid it and though she did, the bubble runs through the beam of gravity, cutting it off completely. Kagura falls to the ground, catching herself at the last second. "Tch.."
"Giha! Someone wasn't paying attention." Kagura's eyes widen as Bune appeared behind her. She turned right into a hard right straight, the blow knocking her right in the jaw. As Kagura fell over to her back, Bune was already prepared for the final blow as he leaped towards her with his fist reared back. Before he could hit her however, a blur runs by, picking Kagura up in the process. Bune slams his fist into the ground, and turns to see Erza in her flight armor putting Kagura down.
"Gi..." The general looked on. His attention then turned to a wave of dark vectors hurling towards him. He fired another bubble that easily rids him of the incoming vectors. At this time, Taya walks up beside Nami.
"Taya!" Nami yelled in happiness.
She nods, not taking her eyes off of Bune. She then begins walking towards the general as she passes Jaxon. "Jaxon, don't let anything happen to my sister, or you'll be joining Bune once he dies."
The threat didn't have it's usual effect as Jaxon was just happy to see Taya still alive, but he nodded with a smile as he turned back to the hoard of demons charging. One came in close and swung a claw, but Jaxon leans away and forms a magic seal above the demon. A strong wind pushes the demon straight down, as hard as a gravity shift itself. "See ya." Jaxon then formed a lightning bolt into his right hand and shoved it through the demons chest, the lightning bolt creates a hole right through and soared towards the rest of the demons charging, shocking them all into nonexistence.
Erza and Taya stood on opposite sides of Bune. Bune just stood in between them both with a sadistic smile. He then began to laugh. "Gihahaha! Two on one? That's still not enough for this demon!"
Erza points a sword to the demon as Taya conjures up five vectors around her. Bune continued laughing until he noticed the sight. He kept his smile however as he waved them both over. "Don't hold back now!"

"Any last words before I flip the switch on you?" Danjal says as he kept his foot firmly planted against Bacchus's chest.
"Heh...you wouldn't let me have a drink would you?" Bacchus asked.
Danjal cocked a brow towards the mage's request. "A drink?"
Bacchus then nodded towards the gourd hooked to his waist. "Yeah, every man needs a last drink right?"
Danjal gave a skeptical look, yet he accepted Bacchus's request as he reaches for the gourd and tosses it towards the mage. "Make it count."
"You're very noble. That wild..."
"Four.." Danjal looks up to see who said the word four. It was Rocker as he and Kuro Water made their upwards. "You don't know what you've just done. You just lost."
"What?" Danjal looks back at Bacchus who was finishing up his drink, emptying the gourd completely. "Wild!" Bacchus yells as he smashes the gourd in his hand.
"Now die!" Danjal yells, but as he snaps his fingers, Bacchus slams a palm against the ground, breaking the earth from underneath him. This gave him enough room to roll out of the way and leap away from Danjal'a explosion. As the smoke cleared, man irritated Danjal stood glaring at Bacchus who swayed and hiccuped a bit. "Now, lets try this again." Bacchus says as he crouches into his drunken falcon stance.
"Alcohol isn't going to save you!" Danjal exclaims as he pulls out his sword.

Levy continued to run towards the middle of Magnolia with Jet and Droy next to her. And just like that, from the alleyways, a heard of demons sprout and attack. They quickly separate Levy from Jet and Droy and surround her. One demon lunges at her and swipes towards her, causing her to falls backwards as he barely evaded the attack. "Levy!" Droy yelled out, but all the knuckle plants and high speed attacks from the two mages couldn't break through the swarm of demons that plagued them. Levy couldn't react fast enough as another demon from behind her slashes her back the second she stood. The process continued as Levy was slowly being torn apart. She fell once again, bruised and cut over her arms and back. A demon leaps to her to deal the final blow, until a funnel of iron magic slams into it and an entire line of demons. Over near Jet and Droy, from the ground two diamond towers shoot up, taking out the demons. Selene and Luke come running around the corner with a herd of demons behind them. Luke grins and tossed a small black orb over his shoulder. It lands in the middle of the herd. The Black God's bomb then goes off, causing a massive eruption.
"Looks like you need help, shrimp."
Levy looks up to see Gajeel standing in front of her. She then stood as the demons swarmed once again.
"Levy..."
"No, I know what you're going to say and I'm not leaving this time! I'm not-"
Gajeel cuts her off by pulling Levy to him, keeping her back against his. "Stay by my side. You know how easy it is to lose a shrimp like you."
"G-Gajeel..."

"They're all here." Zeref notes. "Everyone on that island. That means not a single soul died that day. But he's still missing. I don't see Natsu anywhere."
"Shadow Dragon's...Roar!"
Zeref turns right into a giant funnel of shadow magic, the entire funnel consuming his body. Takeru was shown as the culprit of the attack. As the funnel cleared, Zeref stood unharmed, but this didn't phase Tak. Zeref raised a palm to attack the mage, but before he could fire, Takeru grinned, and Natsu himself came roaring in with a fiery right haymaker that Zeref saw and barely dodged by leaping away. "Natsu."
Natsu fires off a random roar into the air as he points towards Zeref. "You destroyed our island, you won't take our country! I'll burn you into ash this time for what you did to my scarf too!"
Takeru's serious expression quickly drops to a confused one. "I'm sure there's a bigger reason to fight right now..."
Lucy stood behind Natsu and Takeru, holding on to a key.
"Okay...just like we planned before we got here. I hope you're ready Gemini."
"They're insane." Arc says as he looks on.
"I'll say." Daityas chimed in, catching Arc'a attention. "We should leave while we can."
"I think our alliance is done. Tartaros is gone."
"No it's not." Daityas says with a smile as Arc raised a brow.
"What do you mean?"
"I found the spell I used before Zeref's attack hit. Lets just say, they won't be happy to see us once we find them. Besides, those dumb captains said that Siegrain was firing the cannon in an hour right? So we have like forty five minutes just about.."
"Forty five minutes? I can make it there and destroy the cannon before then." Zalen was posted behind the wall with Kuro. At first they planned on blindsiding Daityas, but then they realized that he was trying to escape himself.
"Zalen! Do you think you can make that?" Kuro asked.
Zalen nods. "Just clear me a path and it'll be smooth sailing to the council headquarters!"
Kuro nods back. "Alright then, lets go!"
The two mages immediately take off to the south western area of the city.

"Forty five minutes. I haven't done anything for my guild yet. So this is my chance. I just have to do it...

Within forty five minutes."
