Chapter Eleven - Embers that start the fire.

The start of the new week was not going well for Fatima the face-painting fairy, as she watched as Lisa the Jellybean fairy whispered into Lara the Black Cat fairy's ear. She her face reddened with slight envy as Lara giggled at Lisa's snide remarks of the King. Lisa flirting with the members of the fairy court tied her stomach into knots. Fatima hated how slow the plan was turning out to be. It had been two whole days of creating rumours and whispers of the King cowering behind his throne whilst being dependant on the humans. As much as Fatima trusted Lisa, she wanted to do more than sowing seeds of doubt in the minds of the fairies, it was boring and required her to speak to fairies she found unpleasant.

She sighed and gazed out the royal court's window onto the small corner of the royal grounds, the courtyard of the seeing pool. Kirsty caught her eye as she was pacing around the garden nervously. Fatima squinted as she saw a figure dressed in white and gold approach Kirsty. She gasped, it was the Second Born Prince.

She watched the two meet in the middle of the yard and begin talking. Fatima narrowed her eyesight, she could just make out the prince handing Kirsty something. The prince then left swiftly, leaving Kirsty alone. She couldn't make out what Kirsty was holding, she assumed it could be some use for Lisa. Kirsty rushed inside.

Fatima took one more glance of Lisa who was still talking to Lara. She was sick of waiting around for her. She made her way to the grand entrance hall.

As she entered the cavernous room she saw Kirsty tip toes on the far side of the hall into the grand lounge. Fatima decided best to keep her distance. She slipped behind a marble pillar and waited.

A minute later she heard a door squeak open and closed. Kirsty's foot steps echoed across the hall as she exited to return outside to the garden.

Instantly fluttered across the hall and hastily entered the lounge room. Like the entrance hall it was lavish and cavernous, walls covered painted scenes of fae heroes. The difference being the fireplace that held a dying fire.

Fatima spotted a burning scrunched up paper in the fireplace, she knew something was up. Fatima quickly snatched from the ambers, she had managed to save the majority of the letter.

"Hehe, stupid girl, should have ate the damn thing."

She unfolded the letter and read it.

Dearest Kirsty,

I hear whispers from my mother.

The Queen and King will use you and Rachael to remain powerful. They plan to soak your hands in blood of their enemies. My mother and father are ruthless, through this they plan to wipe out all Goblins. If the other kingdoms retaliate against the land due to the Goblin genocide, they will put all the blame onto Rachel and you, my dear Kirsty. They will be then risking war and nuclear chaos between magic lands and human world. We must flee to the human world, if you can get your friend to come with us. Before we leave, we must warn the Goblins to flee. A lot of people are about to die. Do not dare utter these words aloud Kirsty. The walls have ears in this dreadful place.

Destroy this letter, once read.

Stay safe,

Your Prince.

Fatima eyes widen. This is what Lisa needed. She grinned and sighed with relief. After an agonising day of watching Lisa going around and talking to boring uninteresting people, she would have inside information from the Second Born Prince himself.

Fatima's grip on the note tightened, this was going to change everything.

Authors Note: Blizzard convinced me to add another chapter. He owes me his fan fiction now hahah. That's how this works right.
