Rule #6c: If you can look a man in the eye, you can stab him in it.

All around her the room had been redecorated with stone; from the walls that penned them in, to the stalactites that had violently erupted from the ground. Rubble and debris littered the ground like glitter at a birthday party, becoming stuck every which way and clinging to everything with a vengeance. In between pockets of rocks, the heroes could be seen watching their opponent with varying levels of fair. Of course, there was also a fair amount disbelief at her casual stance in such a dangerous situation, but that was likely because Toru didn't exactly have a good read on danger levels in any situation.

Bathing in the sunlight—however sparse—felt so good after running around underground for so long and Toru couldn't help but just soak in the rays with a happy grin on her face like a cat in the sun. In hindsight, she would admit that she probably looked a little manic sprayed in blood and smiling in the sun, but that wasn't really her current concern. Kage's comment, however was enough to turn her sheepish and break her from whatever daze she had fallen into.

However, before she could reply Ritsu's bubbly voice sounded over the speakers (how had they survived all the attacks?). "WARNING! SECTOR 3: COMPROMISED! SECTOR 4: COMPROMISED! SECTOR 6: COMPROMISED! PLEASE EVACUATE!"

"Prism, what was that?" Kage demanded, tone hard even as she lay stuck beneath a collapsed pillar of stone. From her peripherals, Toru spotted a Nomu sniffing around the edges of the whole she had busted through and quickly sent a kill shot in its direction (barely missing Midoriya's ear) that had it falling back into the hall with a thud.

"…Nothing!" Toru flashed a not-so-innocent smile at her mentor, looking very much like a kid caught with their hand in the cookie jar. It was definitely a little sheepish and not at all helped by the hand rubbing at the back of her neck.

"I'm gonna count to three…!"

"I—I—"

"One—"

"I said it was nothing!"

"—Two—"

"It wasn't me!"

"—Three—!"

"I don't know what you want me to say—!"

"Prism!"

"Alright! Alright! A hero—not me!—may have, possibly, hypothetically, accidentally pressed the wrong button and released all the defective Nomus from the lab…" Toru rocked awkwardly on her heels as she suddenly the ground very interesting. It was odd having so many people watch their rather domestic dispute play out, almost like it was too intimate of a thing.

"…What"

"It's okay though! Most of them are dead now!" She flashed a not-so-innocent grin even as she killed another peering through the hole.

"What"

Whether he was offended at being ignored or he just thought the domestic dispute was trivial enough to end at his whim, Chisaki upended the ground once more with an annoyed scoff, sending Toru fleeing for her life with a small yelp. Dancing out of the way with back-bending movements that only came from practise, she easily slipped from view as the violet aura encompassing her figure faded away just as she reached the place where Nighteye sat impaled. The force field flickered to view without a command and easily sliced through the rock protruding from his back, make sure to keep the majority of it inside so that he wouldn't bleed out.

Slipping into the dissociation l at the sight of the Pro being throughly and properly impaled was like putting on an old coat. Toru easily blocked out the cries of distress from her peers as she kept flipping backwards and focused on getting away as unscathed as possible. A few more turns later and she was perched atop the bubbled now encasing Sir Nighteye who lay sprawled out beneath her. The pair rolled for a minute or two with the elder hero non-responsive to any worried &/or concerned queries sent his way; but a quick glance down showed eyes of beaming indigo shining behind his blood splattered glasses leaving Toru to assume that he was currently using his Quirk, Foresight.

"Prism, is he…?" Kage called from above.

"He's breathing—he's alive" Toru replied as they came to a stop at the base of the pillar in which Kage was trapped. From her peripherals she noticed both Mirio and Eri crawling out of one of the many holes in the walls in their attempt to escape. Mirio was practically hugging the wall as he hobbled along and looking very much worse for wear. Eri just looked terrified, but of what, Toru couldn't say.

Just as Toru bounded upwards to dislodge the woman from the pike, Midoriya rocketed forwards with a face full of rage and a body full of vengeance behind them. He moved at speeds and hit with such strength that he had not shown since the Sports Festival. The match with Todoroki, in particular, where he had broken just about everything and that made Toru worry. Deku was a great hero, there was no denying that, but just as she held no radar for danger, he had none for self-preservation. The boy would quite literally tear himself in two to save others. Toru worried at her lower lip as she watched the fight play out. She knew that like most of them, she would be no match for Chisaki, in fact Deku with his selflessness and heavy hits was likely the best fit, if he didn't tear himself apart in the process.

"Give up!" Chisaki snarled, his voice raspy. "I've already told you how this ends! You're all going to die!"

"You're wrong! I won't let that happen!" Midoriya replied in kind, sparking as he upped the ante. "Even if its already been decided, even if its set in stone I'LL SMASH THAT FUTURE!"

"LITTLE BRAT!" Pillars of stone shot forth once more, shooting out like rockets as they aimed for Midoriya with an intensity that set Toru on edge. Thankfully the greenette was able to dodge out of the way, but much like he had with Stain, Midoriya wasn't about to give up and so using the ceiling as a springboard launched himself back towards the villain with his leg cocked back. The attack connected—oh boy, did it connect!—with so much force that not only was Chisaki hit, but the area surrounding the pair exploded outwards.

"Holy shit!" Toru coughed, waving away the dust trying to clog her lungs as Kage did her best to tend to Nighteye inside the bubble. Both women were now safely back at ground level, with Toru perched once more atop the force field.

"You may be fast, but compared to the last two the lines of your movements are so painfully easy to predict!" Chisaki struck again, this time catching Midoriya off guard with an attack he wasn't quick enough to dodge.

"DEKU!" Toru called, one hand shooting out to fling a shield between the two in a desperate attempt to avoid another near death experience. Before the dust could settle, Toru was off and racing, swapping one bubble for the other. She trusted enough in her abilities that the bigger of the two would stay intact long enough for her to do so, and if not then she'd have to be enough of a nuisance that the villain didn't decide to switch targets again. "You okay?"

"I—I'm good" Midoriya stammered, glancing up at the soles of her shoes as she sat perched above him. "Thanks"

"Good" Toru nodded as she inspected the two shards that had somehow still struck the boy.

"Being able to put myself back together again doesn't make breaking apart hurt any less!" Chisaki grumbled as he regrew one of his arms.

"Here, put these on" Toru slipped her goggles off and dropped them into Midoriya's waiting hands, not once taking her eyes off of the man before them.

"Prism?" Midoriya puzzled even as he slid them on.

"You wanna keep your eyes, don't you? There's no holding back with this guy, but we've gotta be smart about this"

"How're you so calm about this?"

"I'm disassociating" She replied calmly, as if one was talking about the weather. Chisaki quirked an eyebrow in amusement at the response.

"Bu—What?! That's dangerous!"

"Yeah, but it's like: is that your dead teacher on the floor? No, he's just taking a nap, now let's graduate!'

"…That's really bad for you"

"I know and I also know it'll come back and bite me in the ass later, but for now we should really just hit him"

"You're done now, kids" Chisaki chuckled darkly, "No amount of little tricks will help you now"

"No way!" Midoriya growled from inside the force field that Toru refused to drop. "It's not over!"

"Just like your friend! He didn't know when to give up either, though there's something to be said about a person who refuses to admit defeat"

Toru tensed as one of his forearms slowly raised towards them. Right now, she was the only defence standing between this overpowered villain and the remaining heroes. A grinning mouth— much like the ones that possessed Oishii—formed on the palm of his hand and began to speak. Its voice was so loud that Toru had to slap her hands over her ears as the voice carried throughout the building, but even then she was still able to hear the words."SOMEONE ELSE IS ABOUT TO DIE BECAUSE OF YOU! IS THAT REALLY WHAT YOU WANT?! ERI?"

"Wait—!" Eri wept as she returned, her voice wobbling with despair as she climbed back inside. "It's not! I don't want this!"

"GO BACK!" Midoriya cried as she crept closer. "YOU NEED TO STAY WITH LEMILLION, ERI!"

"ERI!" Chisaki sang, "LOOK AT THEM, INJURED AND ALONE. YOU DON'T REALLY THINK THEY CAN DEFEAT ME, DO YOU?"

"…No, I don't" She bowed her head in defeat, knees wobbling and tears dripping down her cheeks.

Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence. Toru pouted, And it looks like I don't even get a vote!

"SMART GIRL, SO THEN WHAT DO YOU SUPPOSE YOU SHOULD DO?"

"I—I'll come back" Eri wept, pulling at Toru's heartstrings. It was almost enough to pull her out of the pit of disassociation she had fallen into. "But if I do…I want you to make them all better again!"

"Ah, yes. It's so much easier to be hurt yourself than to watch while others are hurt for you, isn't it?" Chisaki sighed as he retracted his grinning hand. He then turned to the pair of hero students before him. "The faint flicker of hope Lemillion gave her has been extinguished. Don't you see? You think you're helping her, but you're really just being cruel! She doesn't want you!"

"…Maybe what he said is true, maybe you think you don't want my help" Midoriya grit out as he yanked out both stakes from his body with such force that more blood spewed forth to paint the inside of the bubble. "But I won't let you down, Eri! I'm not letting anyone die! I'M GOING TO SAVE YOU!"

"Don't bother" Chisaki drawled, his tone tinged with boredom and irritation. "Eri knows what's best, don't you? She'll come with me to save you"

"No, she won't" Toru's voice was soft in comparison to Midoriya's loud decree as a third forcefield flickered into view around the small child. Toru was at her limit, three shields at once was far more than she'd ever stretched before. It didn't sound like much, she'd admit, but it was difficult to maintain both a thickness & heat that would deter any attackers across such a large area. Sweat beaded on her brow but she refused to let either of the three drop, doing so would mean certain death for any of them. "And you're not taking her"

"And why not?" Chisaki snarled.

"Because I have something you want" Toru could feel Midoriya's disbelieving gaze on her, likely shocked that she was gambling with the girl's life. But this way, at least they'd have a chance of survival. Maybe. Hopefully.

"Oh? And what would you have to offer me?"

"It's liver failure, isn't it?" A grin pulled at the corners of Toru's lips. "Cancer at the very least if those machines are anything to go by. I mean, one of those machines alone would cost and arm & a leg, which is why you've been using your Quirk on him. Eri's too, I suspect. But it's not working, he's still dying. I mean, I'm no doctor, but he's certainly not got very long left, maybe a month? Two?"

"What're you playing at?" Chisaki snarled, rear arms raised in agitation. Over time, she had gathered that only his forearms were needed to activate his Quirk, leaving the rear arms to attack & defend. Which meant, if they wanted this whole shenanigan over with, those forearms needed to be taken out of commission.

"I wonder" Toru's innocent grin turned predatory as Chisaki's eyes narrowed on her. "How long do you think he'd last off of life support? A couple of hours? Less?"

"You little—"

"—So the question remains, who's more important to you? Who will you save? The daughter you've killed a thousand times over? Or the father you won't let die?"

"…You've got a lot of nerve, brat—"

"Thank you"

"—But you're big speech is full of empty ultimatums. Release Eri to me. Now"

"You think so?" Toru hummed as she rose from her perch, feet planted firmly atop Midoriya's wavering bubble. Narrowed eyes followed her careful movements. Toru felt more like a cat staring down a lion; both predators in their own right, but one easily outclassed the other. "Ritsu: Black Alert!"

"ACKNOWLEDGED" Ritsu chirped, her sweet voice grating against Toru's cold one. "ALL SECTORS: BLACK ALERT! GOING DARK IN 3, 2, 1…"

The one hung in the air for a moment or two before all the surrounding lights and other technologies flickered off, throwing everything and everyone into the dark. Toru could see just fine, thanks in part to her Quirk, and also thanks to the shining bubbles that stood out like glowworms on the stone floor. There was a beat of silence as what happened seemed to register with the villain before he erupted into pained & rageful screeching that had Eri flinching inside her bubble. Rock, stone and other miscellaneous debris soared towards the invisible girl with such ferocity that she swore her life flashed before her eyes.

"Oh shit!" Toru squeaked, quickly jumping up and out of the way on the attack at the same time that the bubble beneath her feet burst, leaving Midoriya to fling himself out of the way. Thankfully Nighteye's & Eri's bubbles remained intact.

"What was that?!" Midoriya demanded as the two rejoined for a brief moment before they were forced to split in order to dodge further projectiles.

"I'm pretty good at pushing buttons" Toru admitted a little sheepishly, sparing a glance to the green lightning that told her where the greenette lay.

"I'll say! I—"

"—PRISM!" Kage's voice sounded from the dark as the invisible girl danced out of the way of the incoming limb. "WHAT'RE YOU DOING?!"

"PUSHING BUTTONS!" Toru replied in kind.

"DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?!"

"LEARNT FROM THE BEST!" She flipped herself up onto the closest stalactite and began to ascend it in the hopes of reaching his forearms.

The world seemed to blur around her as Kage's manic laughter sounded like music in her ears; pulling at the grin that already lay on her face, making it stretch to impossible degrees as she neared. With each step closer to the man, she allowed her body to climb up the UV index in the hopes that even something as simple as heatwave would cause enough of a distraction to maim him. At the very least, add to the sunburn from Hell. I'm so glad I gave…Midoriya my goggles! Toru panted as she ran, moving from pillar to pillar and flicked her hands into claws that swung & pawed at whatever came her way.

Even in the dark and blinded by rage—with everything in her favour—Toru was just barely keeping up with Chisaki. At one point she was lucky enough to sink violet claws into one of his rear arms, sending it clattering with a wet thump to the floor. She revelled in his pained howls that resulted from her Quirk instead of the slight manipulation she had played earlier. But for every cut, slice and burn she gave him, Chisaki just regenerated it like an overgrown lizard. Where injuries had once littered his skin, seconds later, not a scratch would mar his skin and it was grating on her nerves.

One moment she was staring Chisaki in his angered eyes, both of them poised to deal maximum damage and the next she was flying across the stage as green light danced in her eyes. "Ah!" Toru cried out in pain as she landed, head smashing against the stone with such force that another dust cloud burst into being and choked at her lungs. Coughing through the pain and black spots dancing in her vision—Or was that blood? Is that my blood? Oh God! Do I have a concussion?! Ow! My head!—she barely registered that the forcefields surrounding Eri and Nighteye were violently flickering in the dark. Once, twice, thrice, gone. Toru's eyes clenched shut with pain & she wanted to do nothing more than sleep where she had fallen.

And then, as if on cue, the ceiling caved in.
