"I really enjoyed that movie, Reita," a young woman with short curly purple hair said to her date, a tall muscular bald man with a lumberjack beard. "I just wished that we were able to see one of the earlier showings."

"I know," Reita said while looking at his watch. He sighed when he saw that it was close to midnight, but smiled when he looked at his surroundings. "But at least the night looks pretty. Right, Yuina?"

The bright lights from skyscrapers and street lights lit up the city, cars driving by giving off a light breeze, and videos of idols or fireworks played on the big screens in front of stores made for a beautiful sight.

"I guess you're right, but we should be getting home soon."

"Don't worry, I know a shortcut."

Reita led her away from the bright lights of the city to a more dark and secluded alleyway. Rusty pipes, broken glass, and other garbage littered the entrance. Yuina felt apprehensive about going into the alleyway, but she didn't say anything, seeing how her date was unfazed by its rough appearance.

Taking a few steps into the alleyway, everything was fine and Yuina started to feel calm. Then it got dark. Now, she wasn't scared of the dark by any means, but when you live in a super-powered world where some people use their power for evil, being in a dark alleyway late at night is the last place she wants to be. The rumble of trash cans, the breaking of glass, and the once pleasant sound of cars now trigger her fight or flight response.

Then a couple of trash cans fell in front of them causing Yuina to scream and jump into Reita. Yuina was terrified that some deranged villain had come to do unspeakable things to her and Reita. She couldn't do anything to protect them because her quirk is completely useless for this situation, the ability to easily soothe animals.

Yuina closed her eyes and prepared for the worse when a faint meow gained her attention. A little white-furred cat emerged from the knocked-over bins.

"Aww," Yuina cooed. "It's a little kitty."

Yuina slowly made her way to the cat, using her quirk the whole time as an extra precaution. She crouched in front of the cat and reached her hand out to it. The cat sniffed her hand before putting its head into her palm. Yuina picked up the cat petting its head, as it purred to her touch.

"Isn't it just adorable Reit-," Yuina's words died in her mouth. Standing where her date used to be wasn't a tall muscular man, but a tall slender woman in a black bodysuit with long black hair with neon green highlights, black lips, and neon green eyeshadow.

"W-who are you? Where's Reita?" Yuina asked as she backed away from the stranger.

"I can explain," the stranger said as she moved towards Yuina. "Reita isn't real."

Yuina stopped and felt her jaw drop. She couldn't believe that the man she had been with the whole night wasn't real.

"I don't understand? How could Reita not be real, we were just on a date?"

"It's because of my quirk," the stranger said, as sparkling mist secreted from her body. "I can transform into anyone with my mist. I can't copy their quirks though."

"So, is Reita real?" Yuina asked as tears started to form in her eyes.

"Yes and no. The body of the person I used is real, but their personality and name could be different," the stranger explained.

This saddened Yuina because she felt like she connected with Reita and to learn that they don't even exist hurt her.

"Why did you do this? What do you gain from hurting me?" Yuina demanded, she couldn't even hold back her tears as they streamed down her face.

"I didn't do this to hurt you," the stranger admitted.

This confused Yuina. What other reason would this person have to mess with her emotions if they weren't trying to hurt her?

"Then why did you do this?"

"I did it because I love you."

Yuina didn't believe what she was hearing. This woman had to be lying because who would do something so petty.

"How can you love me? You don't even know me," Yuina spoke.

"But I do, I know everything about you."

"You've been stalking me!?" Yuina was shocked. She felt violated that some stranger invaded her privacy and their reasoning is because they love her.

"No!" the stranger exclaimed. "Don't you remember? We went to the same high school."

Yuina thought back to when she was in high school and couldn't recall anyone that looked like this woman or had the same or similar quirk as her.

Seeing the confused look on Yuina's face the stranger tried to enlighten her.

"It's me, Hanabi," she said, seeing if that helped.

It didn't.

"From Mr. Sawaki's class."

Still nothing.

"I sat next to you in class."

"Oh, Hanabi," Yuina said as she recalled a girl that somewhat resembled the woman in front of her. If Yuina was being honest, she just ignored and tried to forget about the girl that sat next to her because they made her feel uncomfortable, always staring at her, taking her pencils when she wasn't looking, and Yuina swears they dug through her bag when she wasn't around. "But why do you love me? We never talked before."

"Remember the first day of school when you gave me your umbrella?" Yuina gave an awkward nod. "You gave me this look that made me feel something deep inside and I knew from that moment you were the one."

"And it was because of that I took it upon myself to learn everything about you from your likes and dislikes to your everyday schedule."

"So you did stalk me!" Yuina exclaimed as she started to run away. She didn't feel safe with this person and knowing the mere fact that they know everything about her, she didn't know if she'll ever be safe again. Yuina didn't get far as Hanabi grabbed her arms, making her drop the cat, and pinned her to a wall.

"I didn't stalk you, I studied you over the years so I could give you the perfect date," Hanabi said, trying to justify her actions. It didn't work because Yuina started to struggle in Hanabi's grasp trying to find any way to escape. "Oh come on, don't pretend you didn't enjoy our date."

Yuina screamed for help.

Hanabi panicked, she knew that if someone heard Yuina and saw the position they were in she would be seen as a criminal. So, she did the only thing she felt was the right thing to do.

She kissed her.

And the euphoria she felt when doing it. She loved how soft Yuina's lips felt against hers and how her lipstick tastes like cherries. It was the best kiss she ever had, well it was her only kiss but still.

Yuina, on the other hand, was in hell. Hanabi's lips were rough, her breath was retched, and she was practically trying to swallow her face whole rather than actually kissing her. What made it worse was that she felt Hanabi's tongue on her teeth. When Yuina thought it couldn't get any worse, she felt Hanabi's knee rubbing against her crotch.

Yuina was trapped and all she could do was let it happen. All she could do was pray that Hanabi would be quick or someone would come and help her.

Suddenly, Yuina couldn't feel Hanabi on her body, and better yet, Hanabi was on the ground with her savior standing over her. She was confused by their appearance though, a dark green sweatshirt and bunny mask, but she didn't care because she was saved.

"You alright?" Her savior asked and she nodded in response.

"You Asshole!" Their attention turned back to Hanabi as she was just getting up. "What kind of douchebag interrupts a couple while they're making out!?"

Her savior turned to her for clarification to see if he made a mistake and she quickly responded. "We're not a couple and she was just violating me before you showed up!"

"You'll eventually love me!" Hanabi shouted.

"Listen," the rabbit spoke. "I don't know what your relationship is, but what I do know is forcing yourself onto someone, no matter who you are or your gender, is a horrible thing to do."

"Don't lecture me about right or wrong!" Hanabi screamed. "It's wrong to interrupt a couple while they're being intimate!"

"We're not a couple!"

"Shut up!" Hanabi charged at the two and, due to the rabbit's quick thinking, tripped her. Before she was able to get back up, the rabbit jumped on her back, pulled out a roll of duct tape, and taped her hands and feet together.

"That should hold you for a while," the rabbit said and turned his attention back to Yuina. "You ok?"

"No," Yuina admitted. "I just learned that she's been stalking me for who knows how long."

"Studying!"

"Be quiet," the rabbit slapped duct tape over Hanabi's mouth.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Do you have a place that you can stay for a while?"

"My mother's, but I don't know if I can be safe there?"

"Is she abusive?!"

"No!" Yuina quickly answered after realizing that she made it sound like her mother abused her. "I just mean I don't think that I can be safe because she learned everything about me and because of her quirk I don't know if I'll ever be able to trust anyone."

"But she'll be in jail."

"But for how long though because, without proof that she has been stalking me, the most that she'll be in prison for about a week and that's not enough time to get a new apartment or job."

"Didn't you say she violated you?" the rabbit interjected.

"We still need proof."

Even though he was wearing a mask, Yuina was able to tell that her savior was upset that he couldn't do more to help. Since he saved her, she owes it to him to help him.

"Listen, don't worry about me, ok," the rabbit gave her a weird look like she was insane. "You did enough already, so don't worry about me."

"But-"

"Whatever happens I'll deal with it."

The rabbit just stood there contemplating what she said. On one hand, he didn't want to leave her with this burden, he wanted to help her so that she wouldn't have to live in constant fear. But on the other hand, what could he do to help her, he didn't have any proof that her stalker did anything.

So he apologized and left before any police or heroes arrived.

After climbing through his bedroom window, Izuku took off his mask and took a deep breath.

"It's getting pretty hard to breathe in this," he said as he tossed his mask to the side. He moved to his bed and pulled out a notebook he hid under his mattress. He sat down at his desk and turned to a page with a drawing.

On this page was a sketch of a dark green vest over a short-sleeved hooded shirt, black combat pants, black sneakers, and a black domino mask. His vigilante costume. Izuku made side notes to tell him what he wanted his costume to be made out of, like a kevlar vest and hood and steel-toed sneakers.

"If only I had the money and access to get these things," Izuku muttered to himself as he looked at the page. Izuku always likes to look over his costume sketch and imagine what it would be like to wear it during his outings. But alas, he didn't have the money and access to get the materials or skill to put it together for it to happen.

Izuku turned the page of his notebook and wrote down the events that he went through that night. In the week he's been a vigilante, most of the altercations he stopped were muggings and assaults, and he would always write down what he did right and wrong and if he was successful in stopping the crime. And tonight it was no different until he got to the final crime he stopped that night.

'Stopped a woman violating another woman, if I didn't get involved could it have turned into rape? Maybe?

Right: I stopped and apprehended the attacker.

Wrong: I didn't have evidence of the attacker violating the victim or evidence of the attacker admitting they were stalking the victim.

Success: …?'

Izuku leaned back in his chair and sighed. He should put down that he successfully stopped the crime because he did, right? After all, he stopped her, and she most likely got arrested after he left. But, since he didn't have proof that she did those things, she'll most likely get a short sentence or be let off with a warning and she'll continue to stalk her victim. So, in the short term, he saved her, and he would do it again, but in the long term, he just postponed the woman from attacking again.

Izuku looked back at his notes and wrote down what he felt was right.

'TBD'

"Midoriya, keep your head up!" Izuku shot up after he was caught dozing off in class, causing a few of his classmates to laugh.

One of the main problems of being a vigilante he faces is the lack of sleep. It wouldn't be that big of a problem if he just had school, but the added responsibilities at the orphanage make the morning a little unbearable.

"Sorry, it won't happen again."

"But, you said that the last three times," his teacher retorted. "Is everything ok?"

"Everything's fine," Izuku answered, rubbing his forehead.

"Is your forehead alright?" the teacher asked with worry.

"Maybe his scar is bothering him," Izuku overheard one of his classmates say.

"Do you think he's trying to hide it?" One student muttered.

"Well, if I had a scar like that I would want to hide it," Yukari said with a snicker.

Izuku didn't understand why people thought he was self-conscious about his scar. It wasn't even a hideous-looking scar either, just a circular blotch above his left eye. And it's not like he didn't know he had a scar, knowing how it was acid that caused it, and because he had to clean it to prevent infection.

Hearing enough, Dark Shadow emerged from Fumikage and towered over everyone. It became dead quiet shortly afterward out of fear from the shadow bird. The teacher cleared her throat, breaking the silence.

"Well, anyway, make sure it doesn't happen again," she said and continued with the lesson. The rest of the class period went without any problems, more so out of fear rather than what the teacher was teaching.

The bell rang, signaling that lunch had started. Both Izuku and Fumikage left for their usual spot, away from everyone else. And like most of their lunches, Fumikage had a tuna sandwich, but Izuku didn't bring lunch with him, he hasn't brought lunch with him for a week. Izuku decided that he would use his free time to catch up on sleep.

"Can I talk to Dark Shadow for a second," said with a yawn.

"If it's about the picture I swear I deleted it and gave him a lecture about one's privacy," Fumikage answered quickly, and Dark Shadow nodded profusely behind him.

"No, I just want to thank him for what he did back there is all," Izuku said, closing his eyes.

"You're welcome," Dark Shadow grinned.

Izuku leaned back against the wall and fell asleep. While he slept both Fumikage and Dark Shadow studied their friend. In the two weeks after Izuku was released from the hospital, he seemed different. He seemed happier like he found something that's been missing his entire life. Whatever it is, Fumikage is happy that his friend found it and doesn't wish for him to lose it.

Maybe one day he'll ask him about it.
