It was another day in the Ghost Town, and it was as quiet as usual. The only sound that could be heard was the sound of people talking on the roof of Saitama's home.
Saitama, in his blue tracksuit, was standing in front of Mizuki, Kogane, and the Beast Queen, each of which were in their usual exercise clothing.
"So you all wanted me to gauge how your training is coming along?" Saitama asked.
"That's right. Since it was your training method, we wanted your opinion on our progress." Mizuki answered.
"Alright then." Saitama nodded before sitting on the ledge and watching. "Begin."
The women nodded before they got a good distance from each other and began doing squats at an even pace, counting as they did. Saitama kept watch of their progress, but blink when they got around to twenty. His eyes had started to zone in on their breasts, which would bounce in rhythm with each squat. He blinked again before looking at them all as a whole after a while until they had completed their squats.
"Alright. Now for the push-ups." Kogane said before and the other two dropped down and began to do their 100 push-ups.
Saitama raised an eyebrow as he watched, wondering why they were doing each one slow.
'Do they always go at this pace?' he thought before he watched their breasts all squish against the roof each time they went down, with Beast Queen's looking like they were about to spill out of her top.
"What're you looking at, Saitama?" Kogane asked with a small grin, making Saitama blink and look them in the eye.
"Is our form okay?" Beast Queen asked with a smile.
"Uh...yeah. Very...fine." Saitama replied, his cheeks showing a faint pink.
"Well just keep watching in case we mess up along the way. Okay, Master?" Mizuki asked.
"Sure." Saitama nodded as the three women continued, with Saitama sneaking glances at their breasts every now and then until they finished.
"Now the sit-ups." Mizuki said before they all got on their backs and began. And just like before, Saitama found himself staring at their forms, especially their breasts as they sat up before going down, causing them to jiggle with each motion.
'What is going on with me? Why am I staring so much?' he wondered before looking back until they were done.
"Now all we have left is the 10k run." Kogane informed as they all stood up.
"Before we do that, let me get my daily 100's in." Saitama spoke while raising a hand to stop them.
"Yes Master!" Mizuki nodded as Saitama began his push-ups. They didn't have to wait long because he did them so fast that he was like a blur. They tried to follow him, but stopped when all they were doing was just rapidly nodding their heads. It was the same for the sit-ups and squats until he finished those as well.
"Alright. Time for the run." Saitama said after getting to his feet.
"Okay, Master. The three of us have something we needed to talk about, so we'll meet you at the bottom." Mizuki explained.
"Alright." was all Saitama said before jumping over the ledge, landing on the ground on his feet. When he did, the three turned to each other with smiles.
"Did you see the way he was looking at us?" Kogane asked as they began to make their way down the stairs.
"He was definitely staring." Beast Queen chuckled.
"Honestly, I hate it when men stare at me like that. But with Master Saitama..." Mizuki trailed off with a smile, a blush on her cheeks.
"Same. All those eyes on me when I show up at the bounty office in disguise just gets under my fur." Beast Queen commented.
"It might not just be because of your figure." Kogane spoke up. "Disguise or not, you do stand out."
"Good point." Beast Queen admitted as the three of them made it to ground level, where Saitama was waiting for them.
"You three ready?" Saitama asked, earning nods from them. "Alright then. Let's go."
"Right!" they chorused before they all took off running. Normally, they'd be running at different paces, but they had decided to stick together in a group for today. As they did so, the women would either speed up or slow down while circling around Saitama. Doing so gave Saitama a view of their butts when the women ran in front of him, and gave them a view of his ass when they ran behind him.
"Nice form." Beast Queen commented with a grin.
"Yeah. His running form's is perfect." Lin Lin said as she ran beside Beast Queen. "And so are yours and the other two."
"Thanks." Beast Queen replied with a nod. They kept on running in silence for a while before Beast Queen spoke again. "...Wait...When did you get here?!" Beast Queen yelped when she looked down at Lin Lin, gaining the attention of the others.
"Huh? Who are you?" Saitama asked.
"Hey. Aren't you Midori's friend?" Kogane asked after taking a moment to look at the woman.
"Yes. My name's Lin Lin." she said with a smile. "Glad you remembered me."
"What are you doing out here?" Mizuki asked.
"Oh, I was out here to see Midori when I caught you guys doing your morning exercise." Lin Lin explained.
"That's nice." Kogane said with a smile before pointing down the street. "The apartment's that way. We'll meet up with everyone there after we're done."
"Thanks. Keep up the good work, and keep your eyes on the prize." Lin Lin said in thanks before running off towards the apartment.
"Don't worry." Beast Queen said as a mental image of Saitama's ass came to her mind. "We will."
"No we won't." Mizuki countered before pointing at Saitama, who was far ahead in the distance. "He already left!"
"HEY! WAIT FOR US!" Kogane yelled before the three of them ran to catch up.
The group was making there way back to the apartments after their run, with Saitama nodding in approval.
"You've all got the forms down. Just keep at it, and you'll be as strong as I am in no time." he complimented with a smile.
"Thank you, Master!" Mizuki replied with a small blush. One that the Beast Queen and Kogane also had as well. The blushes went away when they all heard the sounds of fighting coming from the apartments. They all ran to the apartment to see Midori lashing her hair out at Lin Lin, who was doing her best to dodge or deflect the strikes.
"What's going on here?" Kogane asked before they saw a strand of kombu heading right for Lin Lin's blind spot.
"That's enough." Saitama said after grabbing the strand before rapidly grabbing them all. "What are you doing?" he asked Midori, who looked a little scared at the frown he was giving her.
"That's my line!" Lin Lin huffed in annoyance. "Why are you getting in the way of our sparring?"
"Sparring?" Saitama parroted before letting Midori's hair go.
"Yeah. We're sparring friends." Midori explained. "Since we both do martial arts."
"Oooh. Alright then. Sorry about that." Saitama apologized before he and the other three went to different rooms to change into more casual clothing. Saitama was now in a pair of jeans and his favorite OPPAI hoodie while the others changed into their usual clothing.
"Here you all are. An after workout snack." Ki said with a smile as she offered them all a big plate of assorted sushi, all wrapped up in different kinds of kombu.
"Thanks." Saitama said with a smile as he, Mizuki, Beast Queen, and Kogane all took a good amount.
"Would you like some?" Ki offered to Lin Lin, holding the plate that still had a good amount of sushi still on it. Lin Lin was about to decline before her stomach growled, making her blush and Ki chuckle. "I'll take that as a yes." she said before handing the plate to her.
"Thanks." Lin Lin said with a smile before looking at the plate. Most of it was wrapped in either red or light green kombu, with a few regular green and one yellow mixed in. She took one and chewed it before her face lit up. "This is good!"
"Thank you." Ki said, happy to hear that her cooking was good. She watched as Lin Lin kept stuffing her face with food before it was all gone.
"That was delicious." she complimented while rubbing her stomach before it growled again. "Ehehe. Guess I'm still a little hungry."
"Even after all that? Don't you ever eat?" Mizuki asked.
"Only light meals. It helps keep me light, and also to watch my figure." Lin Lin explained.
"That's no good." Midori said with a frown.
"She's right. Whether strength training or doing martial arts, you need fuel to get your body to do it all. And that means eating right." Saitama told her, his face somewhat serious.
Lin Lin looked at him in surprise before noticing Genos in the background rapidly writing something in his notebook.
"I know that, but-"
"No buts." Ki interrupted before whispering to Midori, who grinned and left the room while Ki went back to the kitchen part of the apartment. "You're not leaving until you've eaten all you can."
"Just don't make a mess." Saitama told her before they heard a knock at the door. He answered it to see Nori standing there, fidgeting a little. "Oh, hey Nori. Something up?"
"H-Hi, Saitama." she greeted in a small voice. "I...I was wondering..."
"Wondering...what?" he asked.
"...n...NOTHING!" she yelled before she ran off, leaving the man confused.
"What did Nori want?" Midori asked as she came back in, a big bag of kombu in her hands.
"Dunno. She looked like she wanted to say something, but then ran off." Saitama answered.
"She'll be back." Ki said with confidence while Midori gave her the kombu. "Now, let's fix Lin Lin a proper meal!"
"Wait a second! How much are you making?!" Lin Lin asked, earning a grin from Ki.
"Mmph!" Lin Lin grunted, her cheeks puffed out before letting out a small belch, a hand on her slightly distended stomach. "I can't believe she made me eat all that sushi."
"Not all of it." Mizuki cut in as she, Saitama, and Lin Lin all walked down the empty street.
"Yeah. Thanks for offering to eat some as well." Lin Lin said in gratitude. "Anymore and I would've popped."
"It's your own fault." Saitama told her. "It's not a good idea to starve yourself, no matter the reason."
"Hey, a girl's gotta watch her figure!" Lin Lin argued.
"I agree, Master." Mizuki added. "Even I do that too. Sometimes I go a whole week with my lunches being just a protein bar."
"Well that's just dumb." Saitama told her as he looked over his shoulder at her, looking a tad irked at her eating habits before facing forward again. "Look, I might not know much, but I do know that girls do have their own struggles with trying to be fashionable or beautiful. Honestly, none of the girls or women I have met have any reason to worry. They all look quite beautiful to me. I just feel it's just unnecessary to commit on it. Too much of a hassle you know." Saitama finishes as he keeps walking forward, not noticing the deep blush on Mizuki and Lin Lin's faces.
'B-B-B-Beautiful?!' Mizuki thought.
'He said all the women he's met. Does that mean...me too?!' Lin Lin wondered.
'Wait a moment...what did I just say?' Saitama thought with wide eyes. Eyes that weren't focusing on the figure in front of him until he bumped into them. "Sorry about that."
"Be more careful, citizen." chuckled the man, who was revealed to be a police officer.
"Hey." the other officer said to get his partner's attention before whispering in his ear while looking at Saitama, confusing the two heroes and Lin Lin.
"Something wrong?" Saitama asked.
"Actually, we're a little curious. What are you doing strolling around the streets on a week day?" the officer asked.
"Just walking these two to the train station." Saitama explained while pointing his thumb at Mizuki and Lin Lin, with Mizuki giving a friendly wave.
"I see. Does that mean you're cutting your work to do so?" the officer asked.
"Nah. I'm a hero. And so is Mizuki." he answered while pointing at Mizuki.
"Interesting. Would you and your friends here mind coming with us to the station?" the officer asked, his hat shading his eyes.
"Is something wrong?" Saitama asked.
"We just want to ask you some questions." the officer answered.
"Alright." Saitama shrugged as the three began to follow the cops. They walked in silence to the station and entered before Mizuki and Lin Lin were stopped by another officer.
"Would you two please come with us?" he asked them.
"Huh? Why?" Mizuki asked.
"We have a few questions for the both of you as well." he explained.
Saitama was sitting at a table as a policeman put a drawing of what looked like a bald man who was a little on the plump side on the table before him.
"This is a picture based on the testimony of a witness. It was dark, so it's a little vague." the officer explained.
"He's...round. What did he do?" Saitama asked.
"I have some questions you must answer." the officer said before offering Saitama a cup. "Here. Have some tea."
"Oh, thanks." Saitama said as he gripped the cup.
"W-What happened to your hand?!" the officer suddenly yelped, confusing Saitama. "Where'd that blood on your hand come from?!"
"Oh this? My friends and I ran into a monster a little while before we bumped into those other officers." Saitama explained while looking at the dried blood on his right hand.
"A monster?" the officer asked after calming down.
"Yeah. I'm a hero." Saitama explained.
"So you're unemployed then, huh?" the officer asked, earning a blanker-than-usual stare from the bald hero.
"He claims to be living in the abandoned area." another officer told the one interrogating Saitama. "With that blood, he seems very suspicious."
"I can see that." the interrogating officer replied.
"I'm a certified pro. My name's Saitama." Saitama introduced while pointing at himself.
"Never heard of you." the officer said.
"I've never heard of a hero by the name of Saitama." an officer told Captain Mizuki inside a different interrogation room.
"Well that's because he's still new. He hasn't had a chance to become known to the public." Mizuki explained before thinking. 'At least not in a good way yet.'
Suddenly, the door opens and reveals another officer, one of a with serious look on his face.
"I heard that the Class-B hero, Captain Mizuki, is here." he said before eyeing her. "Are you her?"
"Yes." she responded. He glared at her before approaching her, showing his towering height. "Is there something I can do for you?"
"I have a question for you." he said as he reached into his uniform, setting Mizuki on edge at his demeanor. That changed when he pulled out a piece of paper and pen, his face morphing into a big smile. "Can I have your autograph, please?"
Mizuki and the other officer both gawked at him before the interrogation officer stood up out of his seat.
"Are you serious?! We're in the middle of something here!" they snapped.
"Well I can't help it! I'm a fan! I'm never gonna get this chance again!" the fan officer countered, only to be pushed towards the door.
"Out! Out!"
"But I haven't-"
"I'll ask for one to give you later! OUT!"
SLAM!
Mizuki stared at the officer as he took a moment to compose himself before taking a seat across from her.
"Sorry about that. He's a fan of heroes." the officer apologized before clearing his throat. "Now, I have a few questions for you about this Saitama fellow."
"Such as?" Mizuki asked.
"How long have you known Saitama?" they began.
"I met him a few weeks ago in City-Z while he was taking the test to become an official hero." Mizuki answered.
"Alright." the officer nodded while writing down on his notepad. "Well, can you answer a few more questions about his disposition?"
"Sure." replied Mizuki seeing no harm.
"Does your friend have anything against police officers in general?"
"Not that I know of. He never really mentions anything bad about police."
"Has he had any trouble with police in the past?"
Mizuki remember two incidents in particular makes her stop and sign a little. "He was mistaken as a member of the terrorist group called the Paradisers. He was also almost arrested when he was out hero working and people thought he was a 'menace for the grimace on his face.'"
"I see." he said as he wrote it down before looking at her. "What exactly is your relation to Mr. Saitama?"
"I'm one of his disciples!" Mizuki said with a big smile.
"One of them, huh? And may I ask who his other disciples are?" the officer asked.
"Only the Class-S hero, Genos." Mizuki answered. The officer's hand stopped while he was writing before slowly looking up at her.
"That guy has a Class-S hero as a disciple?" he asked with a skeptic look, earning a nod from Mizuki.
The officer interrogating Lin Lin was sweating as he tried to regain his composure Lin Lin's answer to his last question.
'Note to self: Never ask a woman when she's due. EVER!' he thought as he gazed at Lin Lin, who had put a dent in the table with her fist before sitting back down, arms crossed and red in the face from anger. They both turned to the door as another officer stuck their head in.
"Is it safe now?" he asked before entering. "I can't believe you asked her that. Don't you have any brains?"
"How was I supposed to know she'd snap and put a dent in the table?!"
"Be lucky she didn't put a dent in your fat head!"
"What'd you just say to me?!"
"FAT! HEAD!"
"Excuse me?" Lin Lin spoke up.
"WHAT?!" both cops yelled.
"Can you ask your questions already? I want to leave soon." Lin Lin said, reminding them of why she was there.
"R-Right! Sorry." the interrogating officer apologized before sitting across from her. "Now then, what exactly is your relationship with Mr. Saitama?"
"He's a guy whom I met through a friend of mine." Lin Lin answered.
"And this friend's name?"
"Midori."
"And what was your first impression of Saitama when you met him?"
"I thought he was a really strong hero, considering he threw a punch with enough force to not only kill a monster, but also knocked down a bunch of buildings as well." she explained, making the officers do a double take.
"He what now?!" he asked in shock.
"It's true. A monster ate him, but then had it's entire backside blown out from him throwing a punch. It was so strong it knocked a hole through a bunch of buildings as big as this building." she went on with a smile. The two cops looked at each other before giving her blank looks.
"Are you sure you're not confusing him with those heroes you see on those kiddy cartoons?" one asked. Lin Lin scowled before jumping out of her seat.
"Are you calling me a liar?! In case you didn't know, you've got heroes who can pull this shit off on a whim! Especially the Class-S heroes! They can-" she ranted before her stomach let out a loud gurgling sound. "Oh...got up too fast." she groaned as she held her stomach and mouth, looking a little ill as she sat back down.
"You gonna be alright, ma'am?" an officer asked in concern. Lin Lin's cheeks puffed a bit before she swallowed hard, pushing the contents of her stomach back down.
"If I throw up, my friend's sister will just force more food in me." she said with a miserable groan.
"Pork cutlet bowl anyone?" another officer asked with a few of them in his hands, making Lin Lin's stomach gurgle and her moan at the sight.
-Hero Association, City-Z Branch-
"Similar monster sightings in City-Z are on the rise. There have already been four this month." one of the workers stated.
"Yes, I know." said Second Chief of Operations, McCoy. "The attacks target police officers on night patrol. They must be connected. If I am correct, something interesting will happen soon."
-City-Z Police Station-
"Would you like a Pork Cutlet Bowl?" asked Saitama's interrogator.
"Yes!" Saitama answered firmly. He may have eaten before getting there, but he was never one to turn down free food.
"Tell me. Why are you a hero?" the officer asked as he set his hat on the desk while Saitama ate his food.
"I dunno. Maybe I thought it was cool." Saitama answered.
"So you're saying that being a cop isn't cool?" the officer asked.
"I never said that." Saitama answered.
"We catch traffic offenders, care for juvenile delinquents, and preserve public order and safety. Society wouldn't function without us." the officer began before sighing and resting his chin in his right hand. "Despite working our fingers to the bone for others, people ignore us because of the Hero Association. Yet we strive to give our best every day." He looked up as he got lost in thought. "One of my subordinates was a really great guy. He was a little overeager, but for only being in his second year, he was an excellent officer." His mood became downcast as he continued. "Last week, he was attacked. Every single bone in his body was broken. He described the culprit over the radio until he lost consciousness. His final words were 'Be careful, Officer Kuma.' That is me. To the very end, he worried about others."
Mizuki sat there as tears streamed from her eyes after hearing about such a selfless man and officer.
"Tissue?" the officer asked while offering her one, which she accepted before blowing her nose.
"Sorry. It's just really sad to hear about something like that happening to someone like your friend." Mizuki sniffled.
"Yeah. He was a great guy. He actually wanted to become a hero, but failed the exam. So he joined the police force." the interrogator explained.
"Good thing too." the other officer commented, earning a raised eyebrow from Mizuki.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"I mean that if he became a hero, he would've been corrupted and turned into nothing but a glory seeking jackass, just like all you heroes." the officer said with cold eyes.
"WHAT?!" Mizuki roared.
Lin Lin and the two officers with her jumped at the sound of Mizuki's voice.
"What was that?" one of the officers asked.
"That sounded like Mizuki." Lin Lin answered.
"Why'd she scream?"
"Probably got asked a dumb question like I did." said Lin Lin before glaring at them. "Must be a cop thing to ask dumb questions." Both cops blushed at that, thinking she may be right.
As the three were being questioned, a man in a caterer's outfit walked into the police station, a few packages of food in his hand.
"I'm here to deliver your pork cutlet bowls." he said.
"Pork cutlet bowls? Didn't they already deliver to us?" one officer asked as the man shuffled in.
"Maybe another ordered more?" another officer said with a shrug. They both turned when they heard the containers hit the floor.
"Hehehe." the caterer chuckled as he reached for his hat, his body started to bulge grow while his skin started turning red. "I didn't think I could get in so easily." he said while the police all freaked at the sight of the man turning into a monster. "I'll stain you all red too!"
"It's a monster!"
"Quick! Subdue it!"
Two officers ran towards the monster bearing sasumatas to restrain it, but missed when the monster jumped and hung on the ceiling while glaring down at them all, shocking the police.
"I turned into a full blown monster! Now I can crush you cops head on!" the monster declared as he recalled the reason why he turned into one. "You pigs busted me for drunk driving when I was a human. Because of that, I lost my license and my job! Now I'm gonna take MY REVENGE!"
With that, he jumped from the ceiling and smashed one cop into the floor before rising to his feet.
"I-It's him! The serial killer!" one cop stated while holding up the drawing of the culprit.
"Shit! It was a monster all this time?!" another asked before they all drew their guns and aimed at him. "SHOOT IT! FIRE!"
The police all then began to fire at will, only to have their bullets bounce off it's body. The monster let them attack him for a moment before taking a deep breath and spitting out a seed the size of a man's head. The seed ricocheted off the walls, floor, and ceiling, smashing anything and anyone it came into contact with before returning to the monster, who grinned at them all.
"HOLD IT!"
Everyone watched as Mizuki and Lin Lin came out of nowhere, ready to fight the monster.
"YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS, MONSTER!" Mizuki declared while pulling out her baton.
"Section Chief! There's an emergency!" an officer yelled.
"You stay here!" Kuma ordered Saitama.
"Did something happen?" Kuma heard Saitama ask as he followed his subordinate. When they got there, he was treated to the sight of the station wrecked, officers either unconscious or cornered by the monster, and Mizuki and Lin Lin looking like they'd seen better days.
"This thing...might be a threat level...of Demon." Mizuki got out through her heavy panting. She grit her teeth as she watched the monster take the baton she lodged into it's chest before snapping it with a squeeze of it's hand while the wound showed that it didn't do anything at all except get stuck.
"What's wrong? You all done already?" the monster asked. Mizuki glared, Lin Lin looked scared, and the police who weren't shaking were shooting empty guns.
"Call HQ for back-up!"
"They won't get here in time."
"We are so dead."
Chief Kuma was sweating as he took out his cellphone and dialed before turning away.
"Chief?" one officer spoke up as the other end answered.
"Hello?"
"...Is this the Hero Association?" Chief Kuma asked, earning shocked looks from the other officers.
"Give me that." McCoy ordered before taking the phone from another worker. "Why are the police calling?"
"There's a monster here! It's attacking the station!" came Kuma's voice over the phone.
"...And?" McCoy asked, sounding like he didn't give a shit.
"We need help. Some Class-A heroes. As many as you can spare!" Kuma pleaded.
"Well now, this is a surprise." McCoy said with a smile.
"I thought the police rejected the Hero Association. I heard that you were going to try and search our leaders's homes. You consider our strength as a 'threat', but come asking for us to send our superhumans when you cry for help?" McCoy taunted as the police began shooting again. "If you do this even once, you can never raise a complaint against us ever again. You'll be admitting that, when it comes to monsters, the Hero Association is what is truly needed, while the archaic police are not. Is that understood?"
Kuma grit his teeth as he heard a few others in the background speak.
"Why is he saying that?"
"The Hero Association wants to eliminate state interference. Plus, the dude's just a big asshole."
'Such humiliation. The police have lost all face.' Kuma thought. He hated this with every fiber of his being, but he didn't have a choice if he wanted him and his fellow policemen to survive.
"May we expect a letter of gratitude for this?" McCoy asked, his voice oozing with smugness.
"I'm asking you...every second counts!" Kuma said urgently.
"Say 'Please.'"
Kuma bit his lips before relenting.
"Pl-"
CRUNCH!
"-ease!" he got out before realizing he didn't have the phone anymore, courtesy of Saitama snatching it away and crushing it in his hand. "The phone!"
"Why'd he do that?!" an officer yelped. Mizuki and Lin Lin looked over their shoulders to see Saitama pointing at Kuma.
"Cop and heroes don't do their jobs because someone says 'please.' Who was that on the phone? They didn't sound like a hero." said Saitama before pointing his thumb at himself. "Besides, you've got us here. We got this. Consider it a thank you." he said before turning towards the monster. "For the pork cutlet bowl."
The cops, Mizuki, and Lin Lin watch as Saitama casually approaches the monster, who glared down at the bald hero.
"Who is that guy?" a cop asked.
"Get him, Master." Mizuki whispered.
"Who are you? A cop?"
"Nah. I'm no cop." Saitama answered.
"Then what are you?"
Saitama smiled before shifting one side forward, his finger pointed at the monster's face.
"BANG!"
-Later, outside the police station-
"The Hero Association will award special compensation and points! SO LET'S DO THIS!" Chain n' Toad cheered.
"YEAH!" cheered the other heroes that were gathered.
"A TV reporter is here." Smile Man pointed out.
"This is an unprecedented event! According to reports, a single monster has decimated the City-Z Police!" a female reporter stated before the camera turned to all the heroes gathered. "It appears that they have requested assistance from the Hero Association. Does that mean even the police need their help?!"
"I leaked it to the media. It's a good opportunity to show everyone who's on top." McCoy boasted as he watched the news. "A job well done, I say." he said in self-congratulation. 'Go, heroes. Show the powerless police your overwhelming might!'
"Wait! Someone has just come out of the building! And they're carrying something!" the reported suddenly announced. McCoy watched in confusion as the people on site all gasped in shock. "W-What on earth is that?!" the reported yelled before it was flung at all their feet, revealing it to be the monster's corpse, a fist print in it's chest. "I-It's the monster! It appears that the police have killed it!"
"WHAT?!" McCoy shouted.
"...What do we do then?" asked Armored Chief Clerk.
"It seems that the police were victorious!" the newswoman said while the cop drew his hat over his blank eyes before turning and walking back in.
Kuma was staring out his window at the various reporters all standing in front of the station, demanding to know who that mysterious police officer was.
"Chief." one officer spoke up, making Kuma look over his shoulder at his subordinate. "Why did you let them go?"
"They weren't the ones who were attacking officers. We had no reason to hold them." Kuma answered before looking back outside. He and a lot of officers hated the Hero Association, believing them to be nothing but a bunch of overpowered people seeking attention. After all this? He thought different now. At least for Saitama and Mizuki, the latter of which had a simple request before they left.
'We weren't here, okay?'
"I'm starting to see why you wanted to be a hero." he muttered to himself, a serene smile coming to his face, an image of the rookie cop coming to mind. "Some of them truly are the real deal."
After seeing Mizuki off at the train station, Saitama and Lin Lin made their way back to the apartment.
"You sure she'll be okay?" Lin Lin asked, her body having a few bandages on it.
"She'll be fine. She's strong." Saitama said with a smile before looking at her. "What about you?"
"I'm a martial artist. This isn't enough to slow me down." she boasted with a smile while raising her arm, only to flinch a little in pain.
"You sure you're alright? I got some medicine and stuff back home." Saitama offered.
"Well...maybe a little for my back. That monster really did a number on it." she admitted before having a small blush. "Thanks for offering. I'll have Midori help me apply it."
"Careful. Midori and her sisters' hair tend to wander when another women's involved." Saitama warned, making Midori blush at the image before violently shaking her head.
"M-Maybe so, but she's a friend! She wouldn't do that to me!" she denied.
"Alright." Saitama shrugged again as they reached the apartments. They got up a few steps before they suddenly found themselves being pushed by Vaccine Woman and Ki. "What's with you two?"
"Watch the back!" Lin Lin yelped as they kept pushing them before getting to Newtina's room, with Nori standing outside the doorway and looking nervous.
"What's going on?" he asked before they opened the door and moved them inside. He looked in the room before seeing an odd sight. "How come there are two Newtinas?"
