Challenge: Response to Lisa's ABC challenge and Lisa's 10-minute fic challenge to use the quote "Do you ever think we stand too close together?"
"Do you ever think we stand too close together?" BJ asked Hawkeye as he was stirring their drinks.
"Where did this come from?" Hawkeye asked, looking up from his monthly nudist magazine.
"Was just thinking that we do stand close together," BJ said as he passed Hawk the bathtub gin.
"I don't think we do," Hawkeye replied, downing his gin martini.
"What if people…"
"They won't. We're too careful," Hawkeye consoled.
"But…"
"No buts. Now come here and relax." Hawkeye ordered. BJ walked over to Hawk's bed and sat down. They sat close together for some time in complete silence. One was reading while the other one was off in his thoughts.
"Maybe we do…"
"We don't. Forget what I said," BJ said, looking up from one of Hawkeye's magazines.
"We stand close together, we sit close together," his dark-haired friend said.
"So? Big deal. People know we're close, but don't know how close, and that's how we're going to keep it,"BJ said, putting down the magazine. "Now stop worrying about it," he said as he grabbed his partner's face and pressed a light kiss to his lips. Hawkeye quickly returned the kiss with greater intensity. Hands were not still. BJ's tracing idle patterns along Hawkeye's back while Hawkeye caressed his lover's ass. After a few moments, when the need for air became too great, they broke apart, panting slightly.
"Do you ever think we stand too close together?" BJ asked, looking into Hawkeye's eyes.
