Damn These Doppelgangers Part 2

The next day I decided to walk Haruhi to her classroom. I recognize some of the girls in the class as regular guests.

"They really are everywhere."

Minutes later Hikaru walks and he has pink hair.

"Have mercy."

"Hey Nami-senpai, you like my new look?" he asks with a smile, "I won't get confused with Kaoru anymore."

"Uh-huh," I look at Haruhi, "I'll see you later."

She nods and I walk out of her class, only to see Kaoru walk in.

"Nope, not getting into this mess, nuh-uh."

I go to my own class, completely ignoring the fight that is bound to happen in Haruhi's. Lunch comes along and Tamaki drags me to the cafeteria.

"Why?"

We walk in and the whole room looks at us. Girls go into a blushing mess. Tamaki scolds the twins. Mitsukuni tries to get them to make up with cake but…

"Mori-senpai please drag him out of there, he's only making it worse," I sigh, and said boy nods.

Tamaki notices Haruhi and his face brightens big time. I turn to Kyoya.

"Can I please eat my lunch somewhere else?" I plead.

He nods, "Go ahead."

"Oh, Nami I'll come with you!" Mitsukuni runs up to me with his fancy lunch tray.

I smile, "Sure."

We go to the patio and sit at one of the tables.

"How long do you think they'll keep fighting?" he asks, his childish persona gone.

He has been getting more comfortable being himself with me instead of constantly being cute and stuff.

I open my lunch box, "They're faking it so it should last to the end of the day."

He gets distracted by my lunch, "That looks good!"

A blush creeps up my cheeks, "Thank you, it was my turn yesterday to make dinner. These are the leftovers."

"You can cook? That's amazing!" he looks at me in awe.

"Would you like to try some?" I use my chopsticks to pick some of my food and offer it to him.

His eyes sparkle eating what I offered.

"Yummy!" he cheers, "I can't offer what I cook since I can't, but I can offer what the school makes," he grabs his fork with food, "say ah."

"A-ah," blushing I open my mouth allowing him to feed me, I chew, "Oh wow," I look at his food as I chew.

"Delicious huh?" he grins.

I nod and swallow, "It is."

We finish lunch. I knew the students eat wonderfully at school since it is still a business and the students can be homeschooled, so the school must keep them happy despite the classes being difficult. These students are Mommy's and Daddy's heirs to their businesses, after all, so they must be prepared.

After school comes along and the Host Club is having a meeting regarding the twins' fight. Mori-senpai had me sit between him and Mitsukuni surprisingly, I'm not complaining though.

Kyoya looks at me, "If the twins keep fighting, have you calculated how it will affect the club?"

I look at him, "If the fight goes on then we can't offer the brotherly package since we don't have a pair of loving brothers, and although we can offer them individually, it won't give us the same amount as the package deal does though and we would have to stop selling their photo albums as well," I sigh, "Shame, it's one of our bestsellers."

He nods, "Oh, Haruhi, I just want you to know there's no reason to feel responsible even though it was your tactless comment that started this whole feud between the twins in the first place, right?" he smiles at Haruhi, he clearly blames her for it.

"I mean she does say stuff without thinking sometimes, but most of the time it isn't even offensive."

Mitsukuni mentions that the twins have never fought like this before. He tells us that he has known them since they were in pre-school, even though he didn't talk to them due to being in different grades he remembers them always playing together. Tamaki agrees by telling us that the twins seemed to be keeping everyone at a distance when they were in middle school and believe it or not, they were even more warped back then.

"Oh, I believe it, don't worry about that."

He says that perhaps this fight is a good thing for them and that we should leave them alone and let them work it out themselves.

"You would be right but there's a flaw in your logic; those damn doppelgangers are faking the whole damn thing!"

A few minutes later we all stand before a mountain of furniture and Mitsukuni on the top of it all waving that the twins have created during their fight. Tamaki asks them to stop, but alas, that gets Hikaru more riled up and he proceeds to yell at Kaoru that he hates his guts.

"Dramatic much?"

Kaoru agrees and takes out a Beelzenef curse doll freaking Tamaki out.

"I'm going to complete the curse, Hikaru. I'm going to write your name on his back. From this day forward, you're going to experience nothing but misfortune and sorrow!" Kaoru says writing on the back of the doll.

"Ay."

"Nami are you sure they are faking it?" Mitsukuni asks.

"Oh yeah," I watch them, bored.

Tamaki is freaking out even more at this point. Haruhi runs up to them and punches both in the head. She scolds them as if they were children.

"In all fairness, they were acting like brats out of boredom."

She gives them an ultimatum that if they don't apologize to each other they will never be invited to her house.

"There it is, their ultimate goal."

The twins reveal that they were faking it this whole time which in turn sends Haruhi into a spiral of temporary misery at being fooled so easily.

"Told ya," I yawn, "Can I go home now? The twins aren't fighting, the brotherly package is still on along with the photo albums, and Kyoya already has this week's financial statements. Mom is making some good dinner tonight."

"Yes, you may go Nami," Tamaki sighs in despair at the twins' prank.

"Thank you," I look at Kyoya, "Let me know if you need anything else regarding the club."

He nods, "I will."

"See you guys tomorrow!" I walk out of the club room with my bag.

"Take care Nami!" I hear Mitsukuni say.

"Wait up," I hear Haruhi run to catch up to me.

On our way home she realizes something.

"You actually knew from the beginning?!" she says.

"Yep," I look at her," It wasn't that difficult to figure out since they were being far too dramatic to be a real fight."

"B-But," she tries to understand.

"Oh, my dear Haruhi, I've been around Tamaki for more than a year, and most of their dramatics came from him," I explain, "You'll learn."

"Aside from having experience dealing with twins, I can't say that."

The next day came along and the twins switched hair colors. The customers are loving it since they don't know that they switched, and they are telling them that they are guessing right.

In the end, everything turned out fine and the twins' sales have skyrocketed, much to my and Kyoya's happiness.
