Pool Troubles Part 2

Alright, so I'm lost in Kyoya's family's Tropical Aqua Garden.

"Where to go?"

I look at the current pool.

"I could follow it back."

I start walking along the side of the pool. Soon enough I found alligators in my way.

"You have got to be kidding," I mumble annoyed and a little scared.

I back away and look around once more hoping to see a map.

"Gonna tell Kyoya to add more maps around the area or at least hand out mini-maps at the entrance."

"Alright, we've seen the episode, it showed the map… what did it look like?" I sit down against a tree and stare the alligators that are now far away as if they hold all the answers of the universe.

I take a deep breath and close my eyes.

"Think, the map was simple, aside from the many question marks it was easy to read, come on."

I try to picture the map in my head but, as expected, I can't.

"What a pain," I huff, crossing my arms.

After a while of staring at the alligators, I hear rustling coming from a nearby bush. In a moment of panic, I get back on my feet and grab a nearby stick.

"Not the best weapon but hey, who knows."

"Nami!" I hear Mitsukuni's voice then his head pops out of the bush, "I found you!" he says panting and coming through the bush.

I look at the stick.

"Well, a stick is definitely not the best weapon."

"Are you ok?" he comes up to me looking concerned, "Are you hurt in any way?"

"No, I don't think so," I check myself.

"Just my ego for not being able to remember a simple map!"

He suddenly hugs me and whispers, "I'm glad."

My whole body wants to combust.

"He was worried about me?"

Suddenly it starts raining. Good thing I was already under a tree because otherwise, we would have gotten wet. We sit down to wait for the rain to stop.

"How did you find me?" I look at him.

"I followed the current pool," he looks at me.

"Weren't there alligators? Don't tell me he…"

"There were alligators in the way, but they didn't stop me from finding my way to you," he declares taking my hands in his, "No matter what I'll always find my way to you."

"Yep, wait, hold up, what?!"

I feel my face heat up by his declaration and by how intense he's looking at me.

"Is he serious?"

Speechless I nod. We notice that the rain stopped. He stands up and extends his hand to me to help me up. I take it. Once I'm on my feet he still holds my hand.

"It's warm."

We walk through the jungle hand in hand. After a while of walking and avoiding loose animals, we hear people talking…well more like shouting orders.

"Stay here," Mitsukuni says, letting go of my hand and climbing up a nearby tree.

I peek through a bush and see Mori-senpai carrying Haruhi surrounded by the Ootori police force.

"Takashi! Haru-chan! Outta the way!" Mitsukuni shouts, swinging into the scene like Tarzan.

He kicks one of the policemen in the face sending him flying then proceeds to flip the others over his shoulder onto their backs when the policemen point their guns at him.

"Damn, it's even better to watch it in person."

Mitsukuni warns them that messing with his friends is a big no-no.

"Oh, hun they're gonna try again in the future, so they didn't learn their lesson."

The others show up and see the state of the policemen to which the twins comment on.

"Nami you can come out now," I hear Mitsukuni say.

I come out of my bush covered in leaves.

"Yo," I raise my hand.

"What do you mean 'yo'?!" Hikaru runs up to me and shakes me slightly.

"Do you know how worried we were?!" Kaoru stands next to him.

"I'm fine and Mitsukuni found me quickly," I blink up at them.

"He used the alligators to get across," Hikaru mumbles shuddering slightly.

"He's like a tiny ninja," Kaoru agrees.

"Yeah, he's nimble enough to do that."

Haruhi runs up to me, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, a bit scrambled from this dummy shaking me, but I'm okay," I smile at her.

"You gave us quite a scare," she sighs, "Tamaki-senpai freaked out and Honey-senpai looked a little scary."

"Oh, I'm sorry for scaring you, I'll try to be more careful," I look at the rest.

My eyes land on Kyoya and instantly I glare at him. He tenses up.

"Kyoya Ootori!" I walk up to him, "What's the big idea of having wild animals loose where people would be? I know your family is big on authenticity but I'm sure you can make do without the alligators!"

"I'll speak with the designer and change it immediately," he pales slightly.

"Good," I give him a chilling smile.

I rarely get angry at them, but they have seen me get angry when the wrong things get delivered and it's usually the people who I order everything from that are at fault.

On our way out the twins discuss the possibility of going to the beach next time. Tamaki rejects the idea, thinking that Haruhi wouldn't be interested in that kind of thing until she says that she may not like the pool, but she enjoys looking at the ocean. Tamaki decides what we will go to the beach next time.

"Joy…I prefer the pool, less danger, sand, and salt."

"Doesn't that sound fun Nami?" Mitsukuni asks from Mori-senpai's shoulders.

I shrug, "Not a big fan of sand so I'll probably stay on the towel most of the time."

"I see," he says.

I look at him and he seems to be in deep thought.

"I wonder what's going through his head."

Haruhi and I get into Kyoya's limo much to Tamaki's dismay. At home, my parents ask how the park was.

"It was fun," I smile.

"I can't tell them there was an issue, they'll get worried."

"Would you recommend it to us?" Dad asks.

"Hmm yeah, seems affordable to spend a whole day at," I say thinking of the price and their wages.

After I proved to them that I'm serious about becoming an accountant they allowed me to manage our family budget and I don't mean to brag but I've seen an improvement in our lifestyle. They aren't so tired after work anymore since they don't have to take so many shifts. I find it funny that whenever they want to buy something relatively expensive, they consult me. It feels nice; it shows they trust my judgement.

"Aside from the accident, it was a fun afternoon."
