Hello, my beautiful darlings! It's been a while huh? But no fear for I'm back...kinda. How have you been? I've been meh, slowly stewing in my own fic ideas.
Kayumeee: If you insist. Understandable my current way of writing is a bit wonky and not for everyone but I'm you're enjoying it regardless. I had that bonding moment sitting in my idea file for months before I decided to write the chapter. Who knows ;)
Kyoki no Megami: Hello! This is me continuing it :3 Yes, finding a fic of Honey is rare, plus to find one that doesn't depict him like a clingy child is incredibly harder to find so I might as well make my own. Recounting the episodes does get tedious, did it for another fic before and started rewriting the entire fic because I wasn't satisfied with how it was turning out. I would love to make an entire original chapter of Nami and Honey but I'm not completely comfortable writing him. I would answer that question but then it wouldn't be fun for me :3 as for how explicit their relationship will be if they get together, who knows. I have a general idea of how it's gonna go based on the episode although I still plan ahead before writing the chapter, in terms of how long it goes, well it depends on how long the anime is. If I see that I'm almost at the end I decide if it needs a good ending chapter or if I can end it with the episode the anime ends on, that is if the anime doesn't have a season 2.
For the rest of the reviewers, I'm glad you're liking/loving it so far.
Now go, be free, go read!
Change of Plans: To Karuizawa!
I woke up early today to get to the airport to meet up with Mitsukuni so we could go to Switzerland. I get a call the moment I stand at my door ready to step outside. It was Mitsukuni.
"Yeah?" I answer.
"Are you ready? I'm outside," his voice came through my phone.
"Eh?" I opened my door to see a fancy black car parked in front of my building and Mitsukuni standing beside it along with Takashi.
They turned to me. Mitsukuni waved at me while still holding his phone.
Takashi places my bag in the trunk of the car near their bags while Mitsukuni helps me get in the car.
At the airport, as we're making our way to the Haninozuka family's private jet, my phone goes off along with Mitsukuni's and Takashi's. We all look at each other in confusion and see that it is Tamaki calling us.
"Hello…" I answer cautiously.
Immediately, I have to separate my phone from my ear because of his screeching, which I'm pretty sure the entire airport heard.
"T-Tamaki," I interrupt his screeching, "Calm down, you're not making any sense. What do you mean Haruhi's gone?"
"Haruhi's gone?!" Mitsukuni gasps, moving closer to my phone to hear better.
Tamaki goes off on his delusions until I interrupt him again.
"Tamaki," I sigh, "If you were to quit jumping into your imaginary conclusions you would have known where she was by asking Kyoya or me," I rub my temple in an attempt to alleviate an incoming headache.
"Huh?" He pauses.
"Yes, Haruhi is at Karuizawa," Kyoya's voice comes through the phone.
"And before your delusions get the best of you again," I explain further, voice dry, "She's doing unpaid work over the summer."
Thus, with Tamaki finding out that his precious Haruhi is spending her summer alone, he picks everyone up on a helicopter and takes us there. During the ride there Mitsukuni looks somewhat angry? He's smiling, but his eyes hold a glint of murderous intent.
"Why is he angry? Was he angry in the anime for the plans changing? He didn't look remotely annoyed."
When we land, Haruhi is not happy. So here we are, at Karuizawa, because Tamaki can't spend a few days away from his debtor student!
Inside the pension where Haruhi is working, we meet Misuzu.
"Ah yes, I remember this now."
Bits and pieces of the episode come back to me. Misuzu mystifies Mitsukuni, Tamaki, and the twins with her personality. She's quite the character, I like her. Kyoya explains the situation completely now that Tamaki is much calmer.
I stand next to Haruhi. "Why are they here?" she groans.
I shrug. "Beats me."
We all sit outside together drinking tea and lemonade to discuss what happened. I decide to take out a book and ignore them as I drink my lemonade until I hear my name.
"I was going to Switzerland with Nami and Takashi," Mitsukuni says with mild annoyance in his voice for some reason, but none of them seem to have noticed.
"Going on a trip I see," Kyoya, who is sitting next to me, smirks.
I duck behind my book to hide my blush. "He invited me."
"He sounds quite disappointed that his plans were ruined," he chuckles quietly.
"Except for Kyoya, of course."
"Eh?" I look at him in confusion, "It was just a trip though."
He sighs, looking at me with a raised eyebrow. "Do you actually believe that it was but a simple trip abroad to him?"
I hold my chin and close my eyes thinking.
"Was it?"
I look behind me at Mitsukuni, who looks happy. Yet his smile is strained as if he's holding something back.
"Did it mean something else to him?"
Kyoya informing Haruhi that jobs are prohibited snaps me out of my train of thought.
Haruhi freezes. "I uh…had no idea."
"Relax," I get up and go up to her before placing a hand on her shoulder, "The school knows." Everyone looks at me in a mixture of shock and confusion. "I got their permission for her."
"You did?" She hugs me tightly. "Thank you!"
I smile. "Of course. Ranka let me know in advance what you would be doing over the summer."
"Wait, how does he know about that rule?" she asks, surprised.
"He doesn't, but I do," I pat her head.
Regardless of whether Haruhi is here with permission or not, Tamaki still gets the idea of staying at the pension with the excuse that since it's summer and they get to spend it however they wish, much to the poor girl's dismay.
Misuzu, unfortunately, says that there's only one vacant room left so Tamaki decides that he should be the one to take it as the leader of the club. The twins on the other hand throw Tamaki's own words of togetherness being our guiding principle back in his face. They get an idea for a contest and whoever wins gets the vacant room. The contest consists of doing odd jobs to help around the pension and whoever makes the best impression on Misuzu gets the room.
She loves the idea of the contest and the idea of having handsome men for her to work to the bone. Thus the contest begins. I stay with Kyoya, having no desire to do work over the summer.
"If I remember correctly, they all have a cottage nearby."
"You're not going to participate?" Kyoya sips his tea.
"Why should I?" I lean back on my chair to resume my reading.
"You could win that room and share it with Honey-senpai," I can hear the teasing in his voice.
I take a deep breath, "As tempting as that may be, Mother," he gives me a side glare, making me smirk, "I want to relax this summer."
Don't be afraid to leave a review I don't bite unless ya are into that ;)
