(New Chapter! Yay! Haha! This one is kind of short, but I hope you'll enjoy. The next chapter should be up very soon. :))

...

"Have you heard? Harry Potter and his sister are the new seeker and chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch team!" The ghosts of Hogwarts gossiped amongst themselves as the students hurried on to class.

Harry and Lucy had had time to let the news sink in by now. Granted they still weren't sure what Quidditch was or what being a chaser or a seeker really meant for them, but everyone else was ecstatic over the news.

"Seeker and Chaser!" Ron exclaimed when he caught up to the Twins in the corridor. "But first years never make the house team!" Harry shrugged. "Well it's better than expulsion I suppose." He joked weakly. Lucy snorted.

"Wicked!" Ron was complete awe "You two must be the youngest players in a-."

"Century! According to McGonagall anyway." Harry cut him off. He felt someone clap him on the shoulder. "Hey well done you two! Wood's just told us!" Fred beamed as George flipped the end of Lucy's hair.

Ron grinned at his brothers. "Fred and George are on the team too! Beaters!" He explained. Lucy nodded her head. "Oh...that's-that's nice." She said though she wasn't sure what a beater was.

George nodded his head. "Our job is to make sure that you two don't get bloodied up too badly." He grinned. "Can't make any promises of course. Rough game Quidditch!" He nudged Lucy in the arm.

Lucy smiled weakly at him. "Um-."

"Brutal!...But no one's died in years." Fred shrugged. Lucy and Harry exchanged glances. "Oh..."

"Of course someone will vanish occasionally." George continued grinning like a bobcat.

"But they'll turn up in a month or two!" Fred smirked. Harry frowned as the Twins turned to head down a different corridor to class.

Ron noticed the looks on the Twins faces. "Oh come on you two! Quidditch is great! Best game there is..and you'll be great too!" He tried to reassure them as Hermione hopped down from a bench she was sitting on to catch up with the trio.

"I just heard! Congratulations!" She patted Lucy on the arm. Lucy smiled meekly at her. "Thanks, but I'm really nervous. I've never even played Quidditch before and that thing with Malfoy was just luck. What if we screw this up?"

Harry shared her sentiments.

"You won't screw it up." Hermione told her friend confidently. "It's in your blood. Both of you." She smiled then nodded back towards the castle. "Come on! I'll show you."

Ron gasped when Hermione pointed to a plaque hung up in a glass case at the Trophy room. "Whoa!...Harry you guys never told me your Father played Quidditch too!"

Harry shook his head as Lucy put a hand on the glass and peered at the name written on the bottom left corner of the plaque under the word Seeker.

"We didn't know." Harry edged closer to the trophy case. Lucy sighed and stepped away from it. "What is it?" asked Hermione noticing the look on her face.

Lucy shrugged. "It's just...I don't see my Mum's name there." She motioned towards the plaque. Hermione rolled her eyes.

"Oh honestly Lucy! You're not so daft as to think you've only got your Mother's genes do you?" She nodded back at the plaque.

"You're going to be great at this. Just like he was." She smiled. Lucy smiled back.

...

"I told you we should have left with the others!" Hermione grumbled later that evening as she followed Lucy, Ron and Harry up the stairs to the Gryffindor Tower after supper.

Ron rolled his eyes at her. "Well excuse me for being hungry! And we haven't been wandering for that long!" He snapped. Lucy sighed at that.

"Ron we've been wandering around for an half and hour! Why do these staircases always have to move anyway!" She moaned as the stairs they just dismounted started turning to the right.

Harry shrugged. "I don't know, but we need to get back to the tower before the fat lady leaves again. " He grumbled. Right at that moment of course the staircase they were on moved.

Lucy almost lost her balance. Ron yelped and crashed into Harry. Hermione steadied herself on the railing. "What's happening?" Ron squeaked.

Hermione rolled her eyes. "The staircases Genius!...They're moving again!" Lucy groaned. Oh great! Now we're going to have to find ANOTHER way back up to the tower!

The four first years quickly got off the staircase once it had stopped shifting in mid air. Hermione grabbed Ron by the sleeve of his robe as they headed towards a door at the end of the hall.

"Um guys? I don't think we're supposed to be here. Let's just go back down the stairs." She suggested, looking around herself uncertainly.

Lucy frowned at her and started to tap Harry on the shoulder as he lifted the latch on the door and pushed it open. "Harry..."

"What?" Harry glanced back at his twin. Lucy started to say something when she saw what was beyond the door. "Whoa..."

Hermione sighed and reluctantly trudged over to the group.

"This is not a good idea." She persisted. Nobody heard her.

The four first years gathered around the doorway and peered in at what appeared to be an empty hallway with only a large unlit torch set in the middle of room.

Lucy felt a shiver crawl up her spine. She felt Harry tense up briefly from next to her and knew he felt it too.

There was something very strange about this room. Something...unreal.

"Um guys?..Does anyone else get the feeling that we're not supposed to be here?" asked Ron. Hermione rolled her eyes at him.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you! This is the third floor! It's forbidden!" She turned to leave the hallway, when the torch suddenly lit itself in the middle of the hallway.

"Meow!" A large scrawny brown cat with matted fur suddenly padded in, fixing the foursome with its large red eyes. Hermione gasped.

"It's Filch's cat!"

Slowly the four friends started to back away from the cat. Everyone knew the caretaker Mr. Filch was never too far away from his precious pet.

Harry turned and grabbed Lucy by the wrist. "Come on! This way!" He ran when he heard the sound of a cane tapping across the floor.

Ron and Hermione followed them until they reached another door at the end of the corridor. Ron tried to open it, but this time it wouldn't budge.

"It's locked!" He beat on the door with his fist. Hermione sighed loudly. "Oh move over!...Alohamora!" She pointed her wand at the doorknob.

The lock clicked and Hermione yanked the door open ushering her friends in just as a long shadow stretched across the dimly lit doorway that led out to the staircases.

Ron shoved the door shut as soon as the last person was inside. "Alohamora?" He raised an eyebrow at Hermione.

Hermoine nodded her head. "Yes! Standard book of spells! Chapter Seven!" She crossed her arms.

Lucy gave her a hard nudge in the ribs. "Shhh! Quiet!" She pressed her ear against the door jam.

"Well well..what have we got here my sweet?" The Twins heard Mr. Filch's sneering voice croon from the other side.

Lucy held her breath until they heard both sets of footsteps leave the hall. "He's gone!" Harry breathed from the other end of the door.

Ron relaxed.

"Whoo! That was a close one!" He wiped the sweat from his brow. "Lucky this door wasn't locked!"

"Ugh! It was locked you Simpleton!" Hermione sighed. Ron started to say something back to her when Harry spoke first.

"And it was for good reason too. Look." Harry pointed to what was in front of them.

Lucy followed his arm and nearly swallowed her tongue when she saw what was laying in front of them.

It was an enormous dog with three heads and two sets of large hairy paws. A chain held it to the wall, but Lucy figured the dog might be strong enough to break free of its bonds if it tried.

She gulped and took a tentative step back from the creature. At that moment of course, the dog woke up. Lucy felt her scream get caught in her throat.

Ron emitted a squeak. "Ouch Ron! That was my toe!" Hermione yelped when Ron stepped backwards into her causing the dog to draw its attention to the four children.

At first none of them were able to make a sound, but then Lucy lost it first. "Ahhhhh!" The children all followed her lead out of the room.

"Run!" Harry shouted, shoving Lucy and Hermione in front of him after the four managed to lock the door again on the dog.

No one dared speak or to stop running until they were out of the third corridor and back in the safety of the Gryffindor Tower.

"What were they thinking!?" Ron exclaimed as soon as he caught his breath. "Keeping a thing like that locked up in a school!" Hermione turned on her heel.

"You don't use your eyes do you? Didn't you see what it was standing on?" She asked exasperated.

Ron looked at her like she was mental. "I wasn't looking at its feet!..I was a bit preoccupied with its heads! Or maybe you didn't notice!...There were THREE!" He shrieked.

Hermione scowled at him. "It was standing on a trapdoor! Which means that it wasn't there by accident! It was guarding something!"

Ron furrowed his eyebrows at that. "Guarding something?" Hermione nodded her head.

"That's right! Now! If you two don't mind, I'm going to go to bed before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed or worse...expelled!"

Lucy raised an eyebrow slightly as Hermione proceeded to slam the door after herself. Ron shook his head.

"She's mental! How can you stand it with her?" He asked Lucy. Lucy just shrugged. "She isn't all that bad." She smiled slightly as she went to follow Hermione into the Girls Dorms.

Ron looked at her like she was nuts.
