"So, are you gonna keep staring me down or are you gonna get to talking?" Katsuki asked Shoto with a sneer. The other boy simply glared at him with silent contempt which he matched back, refusing to be intimidated.

"Bakugou, so far, you've been the greatest obstacle in me achieving my goals. Not only that, but you're also quite the disrespectful one as well."

"You gotta problem, Icy-Hot?!" Katsuki briefly snapped before calming himself. "What's really itching at you?"

"Your efforts…Are too extreme for one of your status. It's like you're purposefully showing off to declare you're better than everyone else."

Katsuki stared blankly at Shoto before smirking, then chuckling, then bursting out into hysterical laughter, much to Shoto's confusion. After getting over his laughing fit, Katsuki composed himself, still grinning at Shoto as if he told the funniest joke in the world.

"Amazing…" The Pomeranian said, shaking his head at the heterochromatic teen. "Every word of what you just said was wrong."

Shoto blinked, not having expected such a blasé response to his accusation. Where was the yelling? The denial? The admission?

"Listen here, Candy Cane, in another universe, maybe I'd be like that, but here...I'm just a guy doing his best and showing the world what he can do as a future hero. You might not be able to see it from up on your pedestal, but people like me have the right to earn a place amongst the heroes too."

Katsuki took a step forward and Shoto, almost out of instinct, took a step back as the blonde bomber sneered at him dangerously.

"We both have gifts that were accepted by all the ass-munchers and plebians who put heroes on unrealistic high horses, but that's where the similarities between us stop. I actually worked my ass off to get to where I am now...and I'm not stopping for anything."

However, Shoto's reaction seemed to surprise Katsuki, if only slightly at best.

"IT. IS. NOT. A. GIFT!" The scarred teen ground out from between teeth clenched so tightly they were close to cracking. Shoto reached up and palmed a hand over his scar. "What my father gave me… it's nothing but a curse."

"Oh, yeah, I understand you had some kind of Daddy Issues involving Endeavor and why you won't use your full power...well, out with it!" Katsuki spat, unafraid of Shoto's anger and matching it with his own.

"I'm sure I don't have to tell you what a Quirk Marriage is?" Shoto asked rhetorically. "Whatever you think you know, it's a hundred, no... THOUSAND times worse."

"…I don't like where this is going." Himiko whispered, Izuku nodding in agreement.

"Alright, continue." Katsuki coldly said.

"My mother was sold to my… father… for money and empty promises," Shoto pushed on, spitting the 'F' word like it was a terrible curse. "She had the misfortune of being attached to the Quirk he decided to combine with his own to make an 'ultimate creation,' a superior tool strong enough to beat All-Might where he'd always failed. Until recently I don't think I saw my siblings more than ten times in the last eleven years."

Katsuki frowned, he was starting to get a better understanding of Shoto and his history with his father, if only a little.

"My father pushed me to the limit day in and day out, forcing me to keep myself in peak physical condition. He wanted me to be the very best to succeed him in his efforts. I learned to take my first punch when I was only seven years old."

Katsuki winced. Sure his mother had hit him but in her defense, it was when he was being irrational or when he let his temper get the better of him. But to hear how harsh Endeavor had been on his own child was certainly a hard pill to swallow.

"My mother couldn't take the abuse after a while," Shoto said, the hand over his scar pressing into the damaged flesh. "She had a breakdown and… and I was there and she… she saw my left side and she…"

"So that's how you got your scar, huh..." Katsuki said, feeling a little bit sympathetic to Shoto's situation now. Anyone would, after all.

"Endeavor sent her away after that; he'd just gotten his perfect tool and then she'd gone and damaged it," Shoto shook his head and dropped his left hand, coming back to the world and glaring once again at Katsuki with a venomous look. "The last thing I remember of my mother is that boiling water… and her sobbing. So I won't ever use that man's power. I won't give him the satisfaction after what he's done."

The mismatched teen held up his right hand, eyes filling with resolve and determination as he gazed at the unassuming limb.

"I'll never be like him," Shoto swore, "I'll reach the top, become number one, and I'll do it with only my mother's power!"

The heterochromatic turned back to stare Katsuki square in the eye.

"So do you understand now, Bakugou?" Shoto asked, forcing himself back into his now obviously fake calm state, "I'm going to win this tournament. Forget those earlier setbacks, I'm going to beat you. There's no other way."

Katsuki scowled. He could sympathize with Shoto, he really could, but he wasn't going to let him off without saying a few words of his own. However, before he could speak...

"Are you an idiot?"

The two boys turned to see Izuku and Himiko there, both Sanctuary students have been listening to every word they had been saying.

"H-Hime?! Deku?! When did….? H-how long…?" Katsuki leapt in shock.

"Whole time." Izuku said. Before he could try and defuse the situation, however…..

"Oh boo-fucking-hoo! Mr. Candy Cane had a sad childhood!" Himiko taunted, arms crossed as she snarled. "Let me tell you something, Prince Zuko did it a whole lot better, and believe me, there's a lot of people whose lives are more fucked up than yours. Get over yourself already!"

"She's not wrong..." Izuku said softly. "I understand how hard it must have been for you, but you need to understand you're not the only one whose life is hard, Todoroki."

"Listen to Deku, Icy-Hot." Katsuki sneered. "He, Himiko-Hime, their whole class...they've all in some way, shape, or form have had to fight every day of their lives to overcome obstacles intended to shatter their dreams and break them down."

"At least your daddy gave you some measure of attention, even if he was being a dick to you and putting his hopes on you to carry for him," Himiko said. "At least he had his own genuine hopes for you in a way. My parents saw me as a psychopath in the making. Heck, if it wasn't for Izu-Chan and Kaachan, I would have become the monster they saw me as."

"You claim being the son of Endeavor made your life hard, but tell me something; How many people praised and worshiped the ground you walked on because you were the 'Son of the Big Number Two'. Yeah, it sucks your dad trained you so hard to become his successor, it could basically be considered abuse. but the whole stigma you're spewing is completely self-manufactured!"

Izuku took a deep breath, a guilty look on his face.

"I shouldn't be saying this, especially since I don't know the full details, but…." He began sharing. "Crona was abused by their mother so badly they don't know their gender and still thinks bullying is affection. Sho was a child solider for a cult, Akira saw his mother die protecting kids during a civil war and was kicked out by his brother and dad…Spinel made an honest mistake that got her kicked her out of the place she spent her life in…..Hana's father beat and locked her and her brother outside whenever they so much as mentioned heroes… Nui was….I can't even describe what her mother did to her and her sisters…"

This was because from what little Nui had rather innocently dropped, it was what Nomu had done to him. The bile that almost escaped his mouth was proof of this.

"I'm not entirely sure I can fathom what Lucy, 21 and Ulqiorra went through….And both Amity and Yuno? They were raised like you, but until they met Luz and Yuki? They didn't know what genuine affection was…."

The implication of the Blights reminded Izuku of a point he had immediately see Shoto ignore:

"And you...you still HAVE your family, did you consider that?" Izuku calmly said, capping it all off.

Already at the end of his rope, Shoto didn't appreciate that nerve being stepped on.

"What do you know about suffering?!" Shoto roared, having enough of all the sharing. "Someone like you, who was alone for years? What the hell do you—"

The scarred teen's jaw snapped shut in realization, but it was already too late. How could he forget who he was yelling at?

Izuku's head was hung down, his hair shrouding his eyes but his clawed hands were clenching. Clenching so tightly that they were bleeding. His sharp reptilian teeth were bared tightly, so hard, they might crack. Tears were running down his freckled cheeks and turning to vapor in an instant.

Shoto realized now that he just yelled at and demanded to know what Izuku 'The Firestarter' Midoriya could know about suffering. For the first time in his life, Shoto couldn't imagine how HE could know more torment than someone else… especially Izuku, who'd suffered several agonizing years of loneliness, hatred, abuse, torture, and vilification for something that wasn't his fault with no salvation in sight…

And then, the dam burst, just like that.

"…You're right. I don't know anything like that." Izuku said, tears already streaming down his face despite his calm voice. "And that's why I can't understand you, Shoto. I'm the only Midoriya left in this world and lets be honest, with my past? I'll die alone and unloved."

"Izuku…" Himiko cooed, but Izuku held her back.

"There's nobody left for me to turn to. But you? Your mom is still alive and you have a brother and a sister right? Did your father ever forbid you from seeing your mom?"

Shoto racked his brain for a memory that would prove this point. To his horror and disgust….he didn't find one.

It was here that Izuku voice began to crack and the volume in his voice grew.

"Even if he did, what about your siblings? Grandparents?"

Shoto said nothing.

"….I don't understand and can only imagine what you went through, but you need to understand this: YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE. And yet you push off the hep you could get to the side out of some anger that hurts everyone around you, including the people you'll one day have to protect if you truly want to be a hero!"

Izuku, now fully in tears and sputtering, managed to squeak out:

"I…I would give ANYTHING to see my mom and dad one more time. Even if it was just for a second! If I had to die to see them again, even if it was just for a second, that would be enough! I….I barely remember what they look like now…"

Shoto heard every screaming word Izuku said without any retaliation. Izuku soon stopped, breathing heavily and panting, more hot tears running down his face as he fell to his knees and coughed hard, his throat having run raw, smoke billowing out of his mouth as Himiko moved to support him, hugging him close.

"Don't make yourself like me." Izuku managed to beg. "No one deserves that."

It was then that Shoto noticed Katsuki and the explosive blonde was glaring back at him with a baleful stare of his own that was much, much worse than anything Endeavor had ever looked at him with.

"All this time you've claimed you're not your shitty old man's tool, that you'd be nothing like him," Katsuki said lowly, anger overflowing with every word. "All I see right now is the spiteful second coming of Endeavor himself, an updated copy who's been using his mother's power exactly like a tool. Congratulations, I bet that fucking cunt must be so proud of you."

Shoto reared back as if struck, the heterochromatic teen's chest aching like it never had since the night he'd gained his scar. His soul cried out in despair, as he examined his obstacle's hurtful words and for all the worse they rang true.

"Come on, Izu...we need to get ready..." Himiko softly said as she helped Izuku to his feet, Katsuki joining her as they left with their friend. As they did, Katsuki stopped and gave one last look toward Shoto.

"You know, maybe your mom was just as big a bitch as Endeavor. That would certainly explain where YOU got those traits from."

The three soon left Shoto alone with his thoughts, unable to speak, unable to come up with some kind of retort, simply nothing...

SANCTUARY

"Oh man, this is gonna be intense!" Luz said, already feeling goosebumps from the anticipation.

"Easy, calm down..." Michiru said, trying to curb her friends' excitement.

"Excuse me..."

The Sanctuary Squad perked up and turned to see a certain imposing figure wreathed in flames standing over them. Only Akira matched him in sheer height. Already, the whole lot of them knew who he was.

"Endeavor..." Sho said, he himself personally knowing the Flame Hero from his time in the White Clad.

"I wish to speak with your classmate, Izuku Midoriya."

"Why, so you can 'arrest' him for being a 'villain'?" Melissa said protectively. "We won't let you hurt him!"

"You may be the #2 Hero in Japan, but the whole lot of us have at least 165 ways of destroying you, buster!" Spinel said, striking a fake karate pose.

"Back then, that would have been the case..." Endeavor said, shaking his head. "But this is the here and now and, in all honesty, my own experiences have made me rethink my stance on him."

"What do you mean? I can tell just by looking at you that you're definitely not Father of the Year material." Masato said with a narrow eye.

"Indeed. Especially since records show that your wife was put in the Fujiya Mental Hospital because of a bad home situation." Penny said. "And before you ask, I can access any records I want. I'm connected to the internet, after all."

Endeavor sighed, he had a feeling these talented young individuals would deduce the disaster that was his home life, but he figured he'd mitigate the damage by at least telling his side of the story.

The Flame Hero removed his left gauntlet and much to everyone's shock, he rolled up the sleeve to show a rather gruesome scar on his forearm.

"It's...it's frostbite..." Amity noted.

"Let's say that the violence between us wasn't one-sided." Endeavor said while unrolling his sleeve and putting his gauntlet back in its place. "I am not attempting to absolve myself of guilt, but I simply wished to tell you ahead of time because the trauma Shoto himself suffered because of my actions warped recollection of events crafted by his young mind to cope with what he experienced."

"So you admit that you abused him?" Seras asked, baring her fangs cautiously.

"I will freely admit that my methods of raising him were indeed abusive in many ways. I won't make any excuses for that." Endeavor sighed regretfully. "But my wife, Rei...her sanity was already steadily declining by the time of Shoto's birth."

"You had our curiosity...Now you have our attention." Velvet muttered with a frown. "Please, continue."

"As you probably might want to know, All-Might had always been the mountain I couldn't climb, the one obstacle I couldn't surpass. I have a long list of accomplishments, but All-Might and the pillar he forged were something I could never hope to achieve...so I had hoped that by siring a decent successor, I could hopefully raise them to become a tremendous and strong hero who could carry on my legacy."

"The problem is that you don't really have a good relationship with the people," Crona said, flinching when they felt Endeavor's gaze turn to them. "I-I mean, All-Might's the #1 Hero not because he's the strongest or because he's won the most fights, but because people believe in him."

"Yeah, the kid's right!" Ragnarok said, emerging from Crona's shoulder. "Also, while All-Might can cause hurricanes with his fists, he never tries to smash everything around him and cause unnecessary collateral damage. What about you, Flame-beard?"

Endeavor scowled, not because Ragnarok had called him out, but because he knew he was right.

"Any damages I cause, I make sure to pay for repairs myself. But you do have a point..."

"In your defense, you do try to save civilian lives and the worst you've done to villains is either scar and/or cripple them for life..." Melissa pointed out. "Yet once the job's done, that's it. You just head off without giving anybody who might be inspired by you or even show gratitude to you for saving them the time of day. The only time you even interact with the media is during press conferences."

Endeavor sighed; it seemed these kids certainly knew their stuff. But he still had a story to tell, so he continued.

"In all honesty, I wanted to stop with our second child...my only daughter, Fuyumi." Endeavor admitted. "I had married Rei in hopes that her Quirk could counteract the weaknesses of mine and she needed my help to support her family, who had suffered serious financial problems that threatened to destroy them."

"You wanted a child with a combined Fire and Ice Quirk to balance each other out and make a super baby...That seems diabolical in certain practices." 21 noted.

"Izuku actually has let us see his notebooks. One of them even has you in it. We could show you the pages but they're back at our dorm..." Spinel bashfully admitted.

"Your analysis is correct, my own weakness, one that I have worked for years to counteract on my own." Endeavor took a breath. "I sought Rei out to ensure my children won't suffer from it."

"So, you had other reasons besides raising them to succeed where you failed?" Yuno dryly addressed.

"It was part of it, certainly." Endeavor admitted. "But not entirely the reason."

"But the kids you had before Shoto weren't what you were hoping for." Emi deduced.

"Yes, my first two children, Toya and Fuyumi… were the worst-case scenario. Toya was born with a stronger version of my Quirk and his mother's ice resistance while Fuyumi was the opposite, she had an Ice Quirk and a fire-resistant body."

"Yikes, that's gotta suck..." Akira winced.

"Indeed. I didn't realize until I had already started training Toya." Endeavor concurred before continuing. "When he was born, we knew right away he didn't receive the combination we wished for, and neither did Fuyumi, but we didn't mind too much. I had started training Toya, he took to it with gusto, it was apparent right away how much stronger his Quirk was than mine. So, I figured that Rei and I could stop having kids and I'd just raise Toya as he was to succeed me."

"But Toya's Quirk was hurting him and through that, you noticed Fuyumi suffered the same." Nui realized. "Mon Dieu, how tragic..."

"Yes." Endeavor grunted. "At that point, I was truly horrified, scared to have another child in fear that they would end up the same. But Rei… she was there to comfort me and keep my eyes on our goal. We tried for another child and Natsuo was born, he was simply born with a Quirk that allowed him to alter the temperature of things he touched, it was an improvement, but not what we wanted."

"So, what happened next?" Emi asked.

"I grew desperate, I didn't want Toya to keep hurting himself and had already told Touya that I wasn't going to train him anymore, that he should give up on being a Hero." Endeavor recounted. "He didn't take it well."

"Some of us can imagine..." Crona said somberly.

"He became aggressive with all of us, which ended up taking a toll on Rei." Endeavor said. "And it got worse once Shoto was born… the day we brought the infant Shouto into our home… Toya broke down and attempted to kill him."

"Geez, I understand he really wanted to follow in your footsteps and be a hero, but that's taking it too far!" Luz gasped.

"You really think you could've at least gotten him therapy?!" Melissa asked as Endeavor sighed.

"I was furious with him," Endeavor admitted. "So I distanced myself from him further, from Fuyumi and Natsuo as well, even Rei, I focused entirely on Shoto. Toya didn't like that and neither did Rei. Fights over how I treated the kids were quite frequent, a few got physical. But I believe what truly pushed Rei over the edge was Toya's death… he kept training in secret despite my wishes and one time, he just didn't return. When I went looking for him, all I found were the burnt remains of his jaw."

"Dio Mio..." Luz said, covering her mouth as Amity held her other hand in hers. Melissa had thought about bringing up therapy again, but shen she heard about Touya's apparent fate, she lost her will to point it at.

"It was at that time I had considered getting therapy for my family, as you said, Ms. Shield." Endeavor said, addressing Melissa's question. "But unfortunately, it was too late. It was after that event that Rei scarred Shoto's face. And my obsession only kept growing and growing."

"Well, we know you're DEFINITELY not getting any Father of the Year awards..." Spinel frowned. "But you also acknowledge that you messed up big time and...well, why are you talking with us now?"

"Considering what Midoriya went through and how he preserved through the hardships he faced thanks to your support, I had hoped he could speak with Shoto and help set him on the right path...I've been seeing him forsake his left side to spite me for what I've done and while I can't blame him... I don't want another one of my kids to kill themselves because of me."

"So you grew a conscience a bit too late." Akira crossed his arms. "The damage has already been done to your family."

"I am acutely aware of that." Endeavor said dryly. "Be that as it may, I can't change what I've done. I will be forever hunted by the actions and atrocities I have committed in my life, but Shouto doesn't have to be."

"We'll try...but I don't exactly know how we'll get around to doing it." Sho said before speaking. "And Endeavor...I never got to tell you this before but...thanks."

"For what?"

"For helping my brother and his friends save me from the White Clad."

It was then that they heard the moving of feet. All turned to see Himiko and Katsuki guiding a teary-eyed Izuku. Since the draconic boy was too exhausted to notice the number two hero, Himiko and Katsuki did the glaring.

"Fuck you want, burning pile of shit?" Katsuki glared

"At ease." Ulqiorra cut in. "Endeavour just told us some…rather alarming truths."

"If its about his marriage and whooping Shoto, we know." Himiko growled, hiding her arm behind her as she shifted it into a praying mantis claw.

"…Did Shoto tell you?" Endeavour asked, getting nods.

"Well, Enji here," Masato started, ignoring Endeavour's command of 'never speaking (his) real name'. "Told us how the Todorokis of our generation are basically a eugenics experiment and that Mama Todoroki wasn't exactly the saint Shoto may think she is."

But the time for discussing this was not now. For now, it was time for the main event of the Sports Festival to finally be unveiled.

SANCTUARY

"Before we continue onto the next event, a word from Principal Nedzu." Nagant said, taking out a tape recorder and pressing play.

"Good afternoon everyone." The cheerful voice of the principal broke over the arena. "A year ago, almost to this very day, I announced to you UA's most ambitious project yet: SANCTUARY. Wherein, after careful review that continues to this day, the school provides students of either troubled backgrounds or Quirks stronger than many a Pro Hero, the opportunity to train and become heroes. It was formed in the growing rise in cases of villainy, which no doubt is what many, but not all, the students in this class would have become. They have progressed exponentially in their time with us, and until this very hour, their identities have been a closely guarded secret, although their existence has been revealed due to the acts of others."

The arena went silent, some feeling gulit but a sense of dread filling most.

"No doubt some of you in audience may have heard of or personally know the students you are about to observe." Nedzu continued, spying Miruko eagerly leaning forward, no doubt wanting to see her protégé. "Regardless of your feelings towards them or the past, do remember what I told you a year ago: This event is under UA jurisdiction, as are they. That means they are our responsibility, meaning we have the confidence they can be great heroes. Some of them have certain…habits that they are working on through rehabilitation. We are enacting the three strikes system and this event will not be an exception. Finally, remember the golden rule; do unto these students as you would have them do unto you: Be respectful and keep any criticism to yourselves. With that said, I've rambled enough. Good day."

The recording then ended, giving the audience a chance to catch themselves before Eraserhead took over the mic.

"And now, the moment we have all been waiting for…" He started.

"He's stealing my job!" Mic whined, grabbing the mic, getting some giggles in the audience. "And now, the moment we have all been waiting for…GIVE IT UP FOOOOOOOOOOR…..!"

An epic drum roll filled the air as the fighting area in the center suddenly burts into smoke, with flames cutting through as some shapes leapt upwards. The tallest shape then swung a might arm, eliminating the mystery as Mic announced:

"CLASS SANCTUARY!"

There they stood, their faces impasse and their eyes filled with determination. Yes, even izuku stood tall and firm, tuning out all the looks of shock and rage he was getting. Instead, he focused on locating….There they were:

Aunt Mitsuki and Uncle Masaru, smiling with pride and slight tears in their eyes.

He then looked back at the sitting contestants, seeing Katsuku smirking, Kirishima and Mina waving to him, Tsuyu and Mineta giving him a thumbs up and Ochako waving back to him.

And our favorite Dragon boy was not alone in doing this:

"Nee-chan! Akira-nii!" An adorable five-year-old girl called out in the arms of her older sister, a pigtailed blonde who had been recording the whole Sports Fest as they sat next to Mirko and Sorara Kongoh. The girl put her phone down for a second and hollered:

"KICK ASS, AKIRA!"

"YOU TOO, NUI!" A girl with a tough look and a red streak in her hair called out while her older sister smiled ever so from her, that smile spoke volumes.

"MIJA! ¡HAZ TU MEJOR ESFUERZO!" A Latina woman in glasses called from the stands to Luz.

"DO YOUR BEST, MITTENS!" A dishevlled brown haired man wearing goggles called out to Amuty, two older teenagers, one a girl and the other a boy, lifting up a banner that read 'GO AMITY!'

"LIGHT EM UP, SHO!" Shinra Kusakabe hollered to his little brother.

Nazuna and Michiru spied a silver eyed man giving them a salute, as Tae saw her precious bandmates holding up a banner of their own:'HAVE FUN AND DO YOUR BEST!'

"KICK THEIR BUTTS, SPINEL!" Came the cheers of a young man in a pink jacket with a star on his shirt, along with his wife and their baby girl.

Hearing those voices and seeing those faces, the kids of Santutary felt no fear or hate. Just love towards these people and a determination to prove themselves for them.

SANCTUARY

"Its starting!" Volcano called out, making everyone drop what they were doing (minus Kurogiri, who prepared drinks and some snacks) race to the screen.

All for One's new eyes were rapt to the screen, focusing on his grandson. Tomura did the same, although his attention was split between Izuku, Melissa and Hana.

SANCTUARY

"AND NOW, THESE YOUNG HERO HOPEFULS WILL BE GOING UP AGAINST THE ONES WHO MADE IT PAST THE OBSTACLE COURSE!" Mic announced. "THE MATCH-UPS WILL BE DECIDED BY THEIR CHOICE!"

Many gasped at this and some began to rant, only for Mirko to suddenly leap upwards and scream:

"AH SHUT UP!"

And while she was no Mic, having the #4 hero yell at you would quell many. With that, the selections began.

"I wanna fight Ochako Uraraka!" Himiko immediately said, pointing to the brunette in question. "I have so much I wanna talk about with her~!"

"Katsuki Bakugou. I want to fight him...no, I NEED to fight him." Masato said, giving a grin to Katsuki, who grinned back.

"I'll go against Hitoshi Shinsho if that's okay," Melissa said, much to Hitoshi's surprise that she'd pick him while Mei pouted in disappointment that she wasn't the one picked.

"OY! I WANNA FIGHT BIRD BRAIN!" Ragnarok said as he came out of Crona's back, pointing toward Fumikage, whose Dark Shadow came out of him to meet the challenge.

"I hope he's okay with that." Crona whimpered, a smile cracking when they saw Fumikage was smiling as well.

"I want to fight Kirishima and Tetsutetsu, 2-on-1!" Akira said, pointing at Eijirou and Tetsutetsu, who grinned in excitement.

"I pick that blonde prick from Class 1-B. I want to show him a lesson in humility." Hana said, glaring daggers at Monoma, who merely smirked condescendingly.

"I'll fight Tenya Iida. He seems like he could be a good match-up for me." Sho said as Tenya stood up straight and bowed in acceptance.

"The one who controls wind...Yoarashi, yes?" Ulquiorra said as Inasa proudly smiled, excited to see how powerful the undead young man was.

"Hagakure...I wish to face Hagakure..." Lucy said softly, looking at the invisible girl with a small, gentle smile.

"Kyouka Jirou is my preferred dance partner!" Yuno giggled. "She sounds like she could be a good match!"

"I wish to fight Monsieur Aoyama~!" Nui said with an unsettling smile. "En Garde, I say~!"

Tae groaned and simply gestured her head to Mei, who perked up and smiled brightly and being offered the perfect one to showcase her 'Babies'.

"Can I fight the electric guy? He's funny!" Spinel asked, Denki awkwardly rubbing the back of his head in response to being picked by her.

"I'd like to fight Momo Yaoyorozu. Class Rep to Class Rep." Amity said, Momo smiling as she stood up, both of them looking at each other with anticipation.

"Pony Tsunotori! Fellow American, right there!" Luz cheered as Pony beamed, glad that she'd be able to talk with someone who spoke her native language.

"Hiryu Rin for me. He seems like a good pick." Michiru said as Rin coughed into his fist and nodded gratefully.

"Jurota Shishida. I feel like he'll work well with me." Nazuna smiled as the beastly-looking boy flustered and straightened himself as best he could.

"Togaru Kamakiri! I want to test something with him!" Velvet said as the mantis-headed boy from 1-B looked interested and grinned.

"Ibara Shiozaki...ugh, I'm gonna regret chosing her, aren't I?" Seras sighed as Ibara clasped her hands in prayer.

"Yeeeeeeeep." Several of the others said.

"Itsuka Kendo. I recognize a fellow martial artist when I see one!" Emi said proudly as Itsuka smiled and stood up to accept her proposal.

"Ms. Togeike will do, please." 21 said. "She has so much potential I wish to help bring to the light!"

"As for me...I'll take Sato-Kun." Roromiya said calmly as Rikidou blushed and rubbed the back of his head.

"Todoroki..." Izuku said darkly, glaring at Shoto, who flinched at the almost-hateful gaze the draconic boy was giving him.

"ALRIGHT! OUR KIDS HAVE SPOKEN AND SO IT SHALL BE! OUR FIRST MATCH-UP WILL BE RANDOMIZED SO HOLD ONTO YOUR BUTTS, IT'S TIME TO D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-DUEL!"

Devil Dragon Stand Knight A/N:

This one took a lot out of me, mostly because I took some of the dialogue from My Driver Academia by Supreme_king_Neo on AO3 and Cursed Blood by Magnus9284, both worthy reads, I might say.

Anyway, we'll be splitting the battles into two parts. 12 match-ups for both parts to make 24. That way, everyone gets a chance to shine!

Alright, Mrotrax. Take it away!

Mrotrax

If ONLY Endeavour had been this upfront from the beginning! So much tragedy could have… never mind, probably wouldn't make that big a change. Or would it?

The plan had been for Mic to introduce the class here as well, buts considering how intense this chapter was and how the fights are soon coming up, plus DDSK being understandably tired from churning out this and the latest Otaku chapter, I decided to save the intros to next chapter.

If everyone would like, I will soon be starting to post the profiles for the Sanctuary students on my DeviantArt and possibly even on this site as well in another story. Give us your thoughts on how it should go.

Once the above has started, I will post a link/ notice chapter to them.

I hope seeing the loved ones of the kids makes up for that.

Next chapter begins part one of the long await fights! DDSK and I have had a lot of fun with a few of them, and others have been soul crushing

Until we meet again! Stay safe, read and Review
