At Fujiya Hospital, it was a relatively normal day. The orderlies were tending to the patients with utmost care and one of those patients, Rei Todoroki, was currently looking out the window, deep in thought.

"Shoto...what are you doing now?"

Suddenly, a knock on the door alerted the white-haired woman as she turned to see a man stepping into the office. He had messy black hair that looked like he had never combed it and had a pair of glasses on his face. Beard stubble decorated his face and his eyes were a uniquely rich caramel brown.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Todoroki, I'm the new doctor assigned to you." The man introduced politely. "You can just call me Crane."

"Hello, Dr. Crane. It's a pleasure to meet you." Rei smiled kindly as the man took a seat beside her bed.

"I've heard you've been here for quite some time. Let it be known that I will do everything in my power to get you out of here." The man said, fixing his glasses. "Now, how about we take some time getting to know each other?"

"Of course." Rei replied, already liking this man's approach. However, what he said next changed that.

"If you don't mind, how about we start with how you got here? I've read the reports, of course, but I prefer to hear the patient's side of the story"

Rei frowned. "I don't know, Doctor...My son..."

"Your son? Which one? From your files, you have three...well, two, now." Dr. Crane said sympathetically.

"Please, I don't want to dredge up those memories..." Rei sighed sadly.

"I understand. Still, we need to know the whole story in order to help you." Dr. Crane said, glancing over his notes. "I've been told that there were...fights with your husband, Enji."

"Neither of us was guiltless in what happened to our family..." Rei admitted. "I suppose I can tell you what I can..."

Dr. Crane nodded as he took out a notepad and pen to write notes. Unbeknownst to Rei, the man hid a sinister sneer on his face, his glasses gleaming quite menacingly...

"Do you think Monoma will be okay?" Kinoko Komori asked as she sat with the rest of her classmates in 1-B at the mess hall. "I mean, he was a pretentious jerk, but nobody should have to be mutilated like that."

"He was rushed to Jaku Hospital. I'm sure he'll receive the best care imaginable." Itsuka said.

"May his soul find peace and salvation..." Ibara prayed. "And may my battle with the Ghoul of Righteousness be a just and fair one."

"You mean Seras?" Sen Kaibara asked. "Man, those Sanctuary kids sure know how to kick ass."

"I'm looking forward to my match with Isuzu, to be honest," Itsuka admitted.

"That bunny girl...I dig her. I feel like she has a lot more bite than she lets on." Togaru grinned, looking forward to his fight as well.

Inasa frowned as he picked at his food before noticing Ulquiorra sitting with his class in the mess hall. He saw 21 nuzzling up to the undead boy as he had a small conversation with Crona and Sho.

"Everyone, I need to speak with Cifer."

Standing up, Inasa walked over to where Ulquiorra was sitting, the hollow boy noticing his presence before he even got close and turned to him with his emotionless gaze.

"Is something troubling you, Yoarashi? Was my show of strength not enough?"

Inasa said nothing then he took a deep breath...and bowed so low, he slammed his skull into the ground.

"I AM SO SORRY FOR MISJUDGING YOUR SKILLS! I THOUGHT YOU WERE HOLDING BACK BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T WORTH YOUR TIME! BUT NOW I REALIZE YOU WERE HOLDING BACK TO KEEP ME AND EVERYONE AROUND US SAFE! MY WORDS TO YOU WERE SHAMEFUL AND I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE!"

"Whoa, easy there, Yoarashi!" Izuku said in surprise. "Y-You just didn't fully understand, that's all."

"But next time, please don't try to do something so boneheaded like asking Cifey to take out his sword," Nui said with a shiver. "Mon Dieu, that power...!"

"I see no problem with our match. You wanted to see me use my full power, I granted your wish while doing my best to control it." Ulquiorra said simply. "I admit though, I'm impressed you held back my attacks for as long as you did."

Inasa stood up straight, his scalp bleeding slightly before bowing at a more moderate angle and then backing away with a humble expression. Ulquiorra turned to the rest of his class as they shrugged.

"Is anybody going to patch Insana up?" Melissa asked.

Her question went unanswered.

"ALRIGHT, WE'RE BACK FROM LUNCH BREAK!" Present Mic announced. "AND RIGHT NOW, WE GOT THE SECOND HALF OF THE SANCTUARY SHOWDOWN MATCHES STARTING!"

"THE RANDOMIZER HAS BEEN DECIDED AND OUR FIRST MATCH OF THE SECOND HALF IS...AMITY BLIGHT VS MOMO YAOYOROZU!" Midnight said, cracking her whip as the two Class Reps stepped onto the stadium.

"So, let's see what you can create to stop my Abominations." Amity smiled as Momo nodded and got into her best fighting stance.

"READY? CLASH!"

Momo, manifesting a bo staff, raced towards her opponent, who called out:

"Abominaton! RISE!"

Amity made the first move, creating an Abomination that crouched down before lunging at Momo, who rolled to the side and created a sword and shield. Turning to see the golem turning to rush her, she sliced it in half with her sword before leaping back.

"Oooh, bad move~!" Amity smirked as she waved her hands and, much to Momo's shock, the stray ooze on her sword moved on its own and wrapped around the blade, yanking it out of Momo's hand.

The golem regenerated its two halves and moved on Momo again, the Recommended Student quickly blocking a punch with her shield before flicking out a spray can from her wrist and then spraying a blue cloudy substance on the Abomination, making it stumble back before freezing up.

"Ah, a spray can full of liquid nitrogen that can be converted into gaseous form, huh?" Amity smiled as Momo nodded and created a large hammer next.

"Prepare yourself, Blight! I have no intention of losing!"

Momo rushed toward Amity, who grinned as she formed ooze over her hand, turning it into a spiked gauntlet that she used to punch Momo's hammer as she swung it, creating a shockwave effect that splattered her Abomination Gauntlet and also caused Momo's hammer to fly out of her hand and smash the frozen golem.

"Clever girl..." Amity muttered, waving her hand before doing some Waterbending-esque movements, creating a thick trail of Abomination Ooze that danced around her before she sent it at Momo, which wrapped around her like a rope.

The Yaoyorozu Heiress gasped as she fell on her back, Amity moving to get on top of her and pin her down but Momo refused to give up as she had one last trick up her sleeve.

"Think fast!"

Momo yelled as she created spikes around the areas of her body where the rope was wrapped around, pushing against it and causing it to burst off, some of the stray ooze splattered on Amity's face, making her stumble back before Momo rushed forward, creating a boxing glove over her hand and punching her in the stomach, making her keel over.

"Forgive me, Blight. But this is my win."

Amity coughed slightly before grinning as she spun her finger in a small circle and before Momo knew it, the remains of the golem stretched toward her from behind and struck her, sending her flying out of the ring.

"MOMO YAOYOROZU HAS BEEN KNOCKED OUT OF BOUNDS! AMITY BLIGHT WINS!"

Momo picked herself off the grass as she turned to see Amity helping her up and carrying her to Recovery Girl's office to check for injuries.

"You did great, Momo." Amity smiled. "Don't let anyone say otherwise."

Momo held back tears.

Next was Emi against Itsuka, both martial artists staring each other down before getting into their fighting stances.

"You should know that I've been nicknamed the Black Stilleto amongst my peers," Emi smirked. "And you're about to know why!"

"Let's put that to the test!" Itsuka said, enlarging her right hand with her Quirk, [Big Fist]. "Bring it on!"

Itsuka rushed forward and swung her giant fist at Emi, who shocked everyone by fluidly moving around it, grabbing Itsuka's arm, and then putting her in a hold, an audible crack being heard as Itsuka gasped in pain.

"You should always be aware of what your enemies are doing, darling," Emi said. "If you move, I'll dislocate your arm and Midnight will have to call the match~."

Itsuka grunted, kicking herself for letting herself be open like that before smirking as she suddenly enlarged her other hand and then flipped forward, swinging Emi around until she let go before doing a spring kick to knock her back.

Emi grunted before landing on her hand and delivering a spin kick at Itsuka, who jumped out of the way and landed behind her.

"That was a good move, Isuzu! But I'm not quitting!"

Emi smirked. "Then you'll have to make do with a haircut."

Itsuka's eyes widened when the band holding her side ponytail was sliced apart, letting all her hair fall down. Despite this surprise, she didn't let it stop her as she grimaced when Emi revealed knives in her shoes and coming out of the sleeves of her elbows and pulling them out of her wrists into her hands.

"Itsuka Kendo of Hero Class 1-B...I'll have you show me what you're made of!"

The two ladies grinned at each other before charging forward, Emi throwing two of her knives as Itsuka moved to the side to avoid them before enlarging her left hand and throwing a haymaker, which Emi blocked as best she could but was still sent flying.

Despite this, the Sanctuary student was not out of the fight as she twisted in the air before throwing more knives at Itsuka, who jumped back to avoid them as they wedged into the ground before catching one in her normal-sized hand, where she inspected it to see it was so dull, it couldn't even cut through a stick of butter.

"Of course, you think UA would be insane enough to let us use ACTUAL knives?" Emi asked rhetorically as Itsuka chuckled in agreement.

"Well, you can't keep this long-range game for long. Why not settle this woman to woman?"

"Oh yes, indeed..." Emi then bent over and much to Itsuka's shock, she began expanding, growing larger and rounder.

"It's embarrassing, revealing what I truly look like...but to achieve victory, I CAN'T LET ANYTHING STOP ME!"

Emi's tracksuit lifted up, allowing her belly to spring out and launch a torrent of projectiles at Itsuka, who stumbled back against the onslaught before a large ball bearing stroke her forehead, sending her tumbling out of bounds.

"ITSUKA KENDO IS OUT OF BOUNDS! EMI ISUZU WINS!"

Emi sighed. "Ugh, exposing myself infuriates me down to the marrow of my bones...but I must endure."

Emi walked over to Itsuka and picked her up in her thick arms, helping a fellow martial artist to her feet as they smiled at each other.

"Hell of a move there...Even I couldn't predict that."

Emi smirked. "Well, it's a trump card of mine. Now, shall we get you checked for those injuries?"

The next match was between Luz and Pony, which was mostly just them geeking out over various pieces of American media while Luz created glyphs that sent vines, brown Abomination-esque arms, and illusion clones of her at her fellow foreigner.

"So cool!" Pony beamed

"You should be saying that about yourself!" Luz beamed. "Seriously, you can FLY with your horns?!"

"Mama's side." Pony followed. "But look at you; you're living out a fantasy dream with your Quirk."

Luz smiled at the praise, temporarily distracted. Pony used this opportunity to raced towards the Dominacan girl who smirked as her opponent got closer.

"SPICY TOSS!" Luz produced two fire glyphs and tossed them at Pony, who barely manged to dodge by flying upwards. The two grinned. "This reminds me of the Good Witch Azura original pilot…"

"When she fought the Wind Mage minotaur holding her mentor captive?" Pony followed. "Oh, I loved that bit! Not quite at that level though…And I fell off Azura around the Library trilogy…"

"Ooooh, I can see that." Luz beamed, remembering how those three books where rather…lacking in magical mayhem in favor of character development. "Well, if you do go back, try around the Bounty Hunter Two parter…"

The battle ended in Pony's victory, when she shot her horns at Luz, hooking the sleeves of her tracksuit and sending her flying out of bounds and stuck to the wall.

"LUZ NOCEDA IS OUT OF BOUNDS! PONY TSUNOTORI WINS!"

The two girls happily shook hands and walked out the arena together.

"It was so nice to have a full English conversation." Pony smiled, before quickly adding. "Not that I don't mind the Japanese, its just…"

"I got ya." Luz assured her. "Well, if ya ever need a translator just gimme a call."

Pony beamed at that.

"With Monoma probably gone? I might just take you up on that offer." She then realized something. "…OH THAT SON OF A….! IF HE EVER COMES BACK, I'M GOING TO KISS HIS BUTT!"

Class 1B cringed:

"She just realized." Kamikiri winced.

After that was Seras against Ibara, the Vampire Girl dodging the onslaught of vines that composed the religious student of 1-B's hair.

"May you be cleansed of any sin that may have burdened your soul!"

"Aww bloody 'ell, can you can it?!" Seras shouted before pouncing over a wave of vines and then grabbing Ibara by the face with her clawed hands and throwing her out of bounds before sighing. "See? This kind of shit is why I stopped going to Church..."

Hound Dog quickly pulled Vlad aside.

"You might want to send her to see me; its good to be devoted to religion and to an extent it doesn't hurt people but…."

"I understand." The Blood using hero cut him off. That was not a conversation he was looking forward to have

Michiru and Nazuna's matches against Rin and Jurota weren't major showstoppers but they still had some major highlights to them.

With Michiru, she turned her legs into those of a cheetah and ran circles around Rin as he fired bullets of scales with his Quirk before the Tanooki Girl turned her arm into an octopus tentacle, wrapped it around his waist, and sent him spinning out of bounds.

"Could've been hotter." Mineta voiced, getting glares at

As for Nazuna, when Jurota grew into a more bestial form with his Quirk, [Beast], Nazuna matched it by transforming into a giant majestic fox that wrestled against Jurota before ultimately pushing him back with an energy blast from her mouth.

"I hope that didn't hurt you too much," Nazuna said as she helped Jurota up, his tracksuit shirt having been burned off to reveal his fluffy brown fur.

"Think nothing of it, Lady Hiwatashi. My fur makes an excellent cushion as well."

"And you're dating her?" Rin asked Michiru, both having stayed by the tunnels to see the fight.

"Yup!" The Tanooki Girl beamed proudly.

The match between Android 21 and Chikuchi Togeike was…. interesting. It was a fun one, rest assured, but it also left everyone hungry for both the action and the treats 21 created.

With Chikuchi's Friction manipulation, she was able to glide along the floor and air, along with even rough up several of the cupcakes and cookies 21 created, which dampered her control and gave the newest member of Class 1A the chance to land several hits and punches, which 21 smirked at.

In the end though, it came down to stamina, which 21 had much more of. After a good 20 minutes, Chikuchi couldn't move any more.

"Ugh, this sucks..." Chikuchi groaned as she got up off the ground as 21 floated back down to her.

"Cheer up; you did amazing. Against anyone else, aside from Ulqi, Melissa and Izuku? You'd have definitely tied at the least" The pink-skinned girl said as she took out a cupcake she was hiding in a pocket space in her mane of hair. "Have a sweet."

"Uh, thanks?" Chikuchi awkwardly asked, deciding not to ask how her opponent had been keeping that in there.

Two extremes could be best used to describe the match between Penny and Manga Fukidashi

Penny had initially held an advantage with her flight, but Manga quickly showed how an onomatopoeia based Quirk could be a great asset.

"BOING!"

Manga had used the aforementioned word to bounce up and keep up with Penny, then went in for his finisher right away:

"KA-BOOM! BANG! BLAM! BONK!"

From the sky, gigantic stone pillars, all in the kanji of his attacks words, descended, crashing down on the area. On anyone else, it would've been trouble. But Penny was not just a flyer.

She summoned 'Floating Array' before a green hue overtook her, changing into a woodish-ice that she created spears with the shatter the stone as her weapon blocked debris away from the crowd.

Manga tried again, but found a blade at his side. Knowing he had lost, he yielded.

"Sensational!" Penny cheered in victory before walking over to the dazed Manga, who coughed as he held the area where his throat could be. "Are you okay, Friend Manga?"

"Yeah, it just happens when I push my Quirk. I mess up my throat something bad."

"Then let us get you to Recovery Girl!" The Synth Girl chirped, picking up Manga bridal style and skipping to the nurse's office. Manga for his part had an adorable pink blush sketch on his speech bubble face.

Roromiya and Rikidou's match wasn't even much of a match so much as it was friendly trading of sweet recipes. Roromiya even considered cooking with Rikidou since she knew a few tricks of her own.

"So glad we have something planned!" Rikidou smiled.

"Yes, but the people need to see my Quirk in action, so..." Roromiya created a giant spectral purple skeleton arm that threw a punch at Rikidou, who grinned as he caught it with his natural strength.

"Right, better give these people a show!"

Rikidou put up a good fight, but ultimately, Roromiya pushed him out of bounds with a pair of giant skeleton hands, winning her the match.

"How are you doing that?!" Togaru asked in shock as Velvet created hardlight copies of his own blades from his Quirk, [Razor Sharp].

"It's why I wanted to fight you specifically! I wanted to get the blueprints in my brain on your Quirk! Guess it works!"

"Well, that's something..." The mantis-headed boy then grinned. "Show me what you got!"

It was an epic slash fight between the two and Velvet's natural Photographic Memory helped her out immensely but Togaru ultimately won the bout thanks to more knowledge in his Quirk.

"I'll never forget this, Bunny Girl! You've got yourself a Rival for Life!"

Velvet giggled awkwardly. "I'll hold you up to that, I guess."

"ALRIGHT, WE GOT THE SECOND-TO-LAST MATCH OF THIS YEAR'S SPORTS FESTIVAL TOURNAMENT AND IT'S GONNA BE A DOOZY!" Present Mic announced. "IT'S MASATO OOSUKI VS KATSUKI BAKUGOU! THE NINJA WARRIOR BOY AND THE NUCLEAR POMERANIAN!"

"Show me what you got Isekai Boy," Katsuki smirked as he cracked his neck from side to side.

"Trust me..." Masato grinned back, his eyes turning into the Rinnegan and Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan respectively. "...You won't know what hit you!"

(Play Hollow Dreams by Brandon Yates)

Katsuki blasted himself forward with explosions from his hands, flying like a heat-seeking missile at Masato as the Oosuki Boy flickered and reappeared in the air before using the Asura Path to turn his left arm into a minigun which fired bullets of Chakra Bullets at Katsuki, who blasted himself into the air and past the bullets as he kneed Masato in the stomach.

Masato tumbled down back to the ring before landing on his hands and flipping in the air before landing in a crouch with his palms on the ground.

"WOOD STYLE: WOODEN DRAGON JUTSU!"

Erupting out of the ground was a dragon of wood that flew toward Katsuki, who grinned as he spun himself around.

"Making me pull out the big guns earlier here!" Katsuki picked up speed before turning into a tornado of napalm. "HOWITZER IMPACT!"

Katsuki flew into the dragon's mouth, causing it to explode from within as the wood was atomized from the blast before Katsuki threw a small-sized explosion in Masato's face, sending him flying back.

Suddenly, Masato turned into a cloud of ink as Katsuki's eyes widened in realization, the brunette appearing behind him, his EMS blaring wildly.

"You blinked."

Katsuki closed his eyes, knowing that Masato had stuck him in an illusion before focusing as best he could before yelling and punching behind him, catching Masato off-guard and shattering the illusion.

"I'd expect nothing less from someone as headstrong as you." Masato smirked.

"You don't know the fucking half of it, pretty boy!"

Masato and Katsuki, not wanting to waste too much of their energy, began trading physical blows against each other, even managing to punch each other across the jaws at the same time.

"I love it!"

As did their words:

"The thrill of battle, the pounding of my heart, the taste of my own blood…!" Katsuki smirked.

"The strain and stress, the uncertainty of victory….!" Masato followed.

"I LOVE IT!" Katsuki laughed, soon being joined by Masato.

"S-Should we call the match, Sho?" Present Mic nervously asked.

"No, let them get it out of their system." Aizawa and Nagant said at the same time, thinking the very same thing.

Katsuki then held his hands forward, charging up his nitroglycerin sweat as Masato channeled lightning in his hands and rushed forward, both boys ready to end it.

"STUN GRENADE!'

"CHIDORI!"

The two attacks clashed, creating a blinding burst of light that forced everyone to shield their eyes lest they go blind. When the light settled, both boys looked to be exhausted, their tracksuits torn up and burnt, showing their abs as they swayed side to side.

"Nice one...let's do that...again..."

Katsuki gave a weak chuckle in response before both of them fainted on the spot yet neither of them fell, in fact, they remained standing.

"This battle...IS A DRAW!" Nagant declared.

The crowd was in silence.

"Well, that was intense." Seras mused. "Surprised Masato didn't use any more of them eye jutsu…"

"Then it would've been over too son." Izuku mused. "Besides, Masato goes blind for a bit after using the bigger ones. I think he just honesty wanted a full fight. I know Kaa-chan certainly did."

Himiko looked on at her boyfriend lovingly

"When this is over…."

"Himiko, do remember Spinel is in the room." Amity reminded her.

Himiko held her tongue, but Spinel said what was on everyone's mind:

"Are Himiko and Katsuki going to…?"

"Shoto, this is getting ridiculous."

The peppermint and scarred boy paid his father no mind.

"You're already facing off against one of the worst possible opponents for someone of your power." Endeavour continued. "The Firestart…I mean, Midioriya, has already proven to be able to trade blows with the likes of me and All Might. You know your ice will not be enough!"

"I. Will. Not. Use. Your power." Shoto said with great finality.

"YOUR flames may be your only way out! I'm not certain, but I have in on good authority Midoriya's flame intake is limited to an extent, at least in the initial few seconds he starts absorbing them."

Not entirely true; that was a hope more than anything; due to Izuku's youth and only recently being able to train under supervision….

Shoto said nothing and began to walk away

"SHOTO!" Endeavour called out. "I know I failed as a father. I know I hurt you, your mother and your siblings. But please, don't let your hatred for me lead you down this path."

He was ignored again, at least by his son.

Izuku had left a few minutes ago to mentally prep for his public return; the booing, the jeers, the declarations of hate, the wanting him to die….But that was no longer on his mind. All that was on his mind now, was how this BRAT, Shoto Todoroki, was half assing everything out of an understandable but ultimately petty grudge.

Izuku was normally, in spite of everything, an understanding boy who wished nothing but the best for everyone. But seeing how Shoto was acting even when presented with all this information?

His grandfather's side was coming out.

Izuku fumbled into his pocket and pulled out a vial containing a sample Amity's Abomination goop, mixed in with some of Luz's fire glyphs. While he and the class still agreed he was to avoid using this power….

Shoto's attitude was making him consider breaking that promise.

"I won't hold back." Was all his said to Endeavour as he made his way to the arena.

"AND NOW…! THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR…!" Mic announced. "THE FINAL SHOWDOWN FOR THIS YEAR'S SPORTS FESTIVAL! IN ONE CORNER, THE ONE WHO STARTED CLASS SANCUTRARY HIMSELF, MUFASTA'S OWN IZUKU MIDORIYA!"

The draconic boy tuned out everything else, focusing solely on this upcoming fight. Something that his haters and naysayers actually picked up on, as did his classmates and friends.

"I-is Izuku?" Ochako asked Katsuki, who found Himiko holding onto him.

"….He's pissed." Akira said, loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Is that…bad?" Tenya asked.

"We've NEVER seen Izuku mad." Melissa explained. "I mean, there was when Nomu attacked Katsuki, but that was desperation. This is…"

"Tranquil fury." Lucy smirked.

"AND IN THE OTHER CORNER, THE SON OF THE NUMBER TWO HERO AND DOUBLE ELEMENTAL….SHOTO TODOROKI!"

Izuku watched as Shoto stepped onto the ring, a furious look on his face as the draconic boy sighed.

"Last chance, Todoroki." Izuku said. "Drop out now if you're only going to use your ice...because you'll never beat me."

"RED FLAG!" Luz called out.

"Midoriya..." Shoto growled. "This'll be over soon."

What Izuku said next, put EVERYONE on edge.

"Your funeral."

"RED FLAG!" Luz and Spinel called out.

"BEGIN!"

Too late.

(Play Diabolical Invincible Me by Brandon Yates)

Shoto instantly summoned a wall of ice that raced towards his opponent who simplu lifted a single finger to greet it. The moment it made contact, steam erupted from the glacier, which parted like a frozen Red Seas as the draconic boy walked through it before placing his hands on the two pillars, which turned into water.

"Next." Izuku demanded.

Shoto repeated his previous attack. With a sigh, Izuku threw a scaled punch and the ice wave shattered. Izuku then took a deep breath before inhaling the ice shards, swallowing them all.

"Are you...EATING MY ICE?!" Shoto gasped, speaking the thoughts of many.

"It's part of my Quirk. I can consume the elements to charge up my reserves." Izuku said before making a gesture. "Ice-Make: Cannon!"

A cannon made of solid ice manifested and fired a powerful ice cannonball at Shoto, who created an ice barrier to block it, only for the impact to shatter it, causing Shoto to lose his footing as Izuku suddenly appeared in front of him and followed up with a flurry of punches that staggered Shoto. The Son of Endeavor could even feel a rib or two giving in.

Shoto angrily coated his right fist in frost before punching Izuku in his scaled cheek. However, the draconic boy barely flinched as he turned to Shoto before grabbing him by the face and then slamming it into the ground, grinding him across as he used his wings to propel them both forward before slamming Shoto into the ground, popping him up as Izuku delivered a powerful uppercut that sent him flying into the air.

Spreading his wings out, Izuku flew upward before delivering several strikes with his claws, feet, and tail. Shoto could barely keep up before Izuku flipped him upside-down, grabbed his leg and hand, and wrapped his tail around his neck before flying down to deliver a spinning piledriver.

Shoto managed to wrestle enough control to create a slide of ice to cushion the landing as he managed to slip out of Izuku's grip. As he got up, the Son of Endeavor felt his body shaking and his breath being visible as he shuddered in anger and fear.

"What is this...?! Why isn't my ice enough?!"

"What's the matter? Are you going to cry?" Izuku mocked, punching through the ice slide as the shards flew around him before forming into armor that made him look even more beastly.

"…I don't like this…" Spinel whimpered, holding onto Lucy.

"We may need to intervene." Ulqiorra mused.

Shoto, breathing harder and faster, furiously launched a massive wave of ice at Izuku with all he could, pushing all he could to make the ice bigger, sharper, harder, and more powerful, even as the frost patched up faster on his right side.

He and everyone else failed to notice Izuku pulled out a vial and eyedropper…..

After Shoto was finished, he fell to his knees, breathing and shaking hard as he had created a massive glacier that overtook half the stadium. Believing he had beaten Izuku, he slowly staggered to his feet and prepared to leave before a cracking sound was heard.

"N-No..."

The cracking grew louder and more numerous as Shoto fearfully turned his head around. The cracks were surrounded by a purple hue.

"I-It isn't possible..."

Purple. Steaming cracks spread across the entire glacier before a brief period of silence and then...

*KRRRRRRRRRRRRRSH*

The entire glacier shattered like a massive pane of glass, all of the shards and frosty air dancing in the air before conjoining into a giant ice dragon sculpture...and then melted from the sheer heat of Izuku's rage, fire billowing off his body in droves.

"POSION FIRE DRAGON SLAYER!" Izuku declared with a smirk, his formerly green scales now a pulsating purple, some groaning coming from them.

The arena was silenced for a minute, before the horrified and enraged calls out Izuku's classmates broke through

"WHY WOULD YOU USE THAT?!" Amity screamed.

"THIS IS NOT THE TIME FOR THAT MODE!" Rorimoya called out.

"BAD IZUKU!" Michiru and Velvet called out.

It was then that Melissa realized

"Wait…his fire burns through the goop….Shoto and he are in no real…"

The others caught on to what she was saying.

"So why would he..? Oh, no…" Ochako gasped

"He's showing them the monster he could be." Luz realized.

The purple vanished from Izuku form as he marched over to Shoto, his very stepped melting the arena.

"Are you seriously okay with this? With losing in such a pathetic way!?" Izuku coldly growled, his fangs bared. "Look at yourself! All my life people called me a monster and to be honest, they're mostly right! I killed so many people but you...YOU ARE STOOPING TO MY LEVEL JUST NOW!"

"What are you-?" Shoto asked before Izuku appeared in front of him and punched him hard across the face with a flame-coated fist, knocking him to the ground as he got on top of him.

"That attack...THAT COULD HAVE KILLED HALF THE PEOPLE IN THIS STADIUM! AND YOU CALL YOURSELF A HERO?!" Izuku roared as he began punching Shoto across the face, his left fist coated in a thin crust of ice while the other was surrounded by flaming embers.

"YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE?! YOU'RE LOWER THAN A MONSTER! YOU'RE A FUCKING WORTHLESS DEKU!"

Katsuki winced, recalling a time when he used that nickname to demean Izuku long before the terrible accident and subsequent kidnapping. It seemed Izuku had plenty of anger to iron out.

"CRIMSON FLAG! CRIMSON FLAG!" Hana shouted.

"MOM, DAD! STOP THE MATCH!" Masato begged, but he was drowned out by Izuku's own enraged rant.

"YOU DON'T BELONG IN THIS RING! YOU DON'T EVEN BELONG IN THE HERO COURSE, EITHER! DAMN HALF-ASS WORTHLESS MONSTER DEKU!"

Izuku got off Shoto after beating him enough. Shoto's right eye was swollen shut, his face was battered up, and blood was running down his lip and nose.

"YOU HAVE EVERYTHING! YOU HAVE A FAMILY! YOU HAVE PEOPLE WHO LOOK UP TO YOU! YOU HAVE A POWER YOU CAN CONTROL! BUT YOU SQUANDER IT BECAUSE YOU'RE A FUCKING IDIOT!"

Izuku slammed Shoto face-first into the ground and began smashing him into it several times, holding him by the back of the head.

"YOU'RE PATHETIC! AN IDIOT WITH DELUSIONS OF BEING BETTER THAN EVERYONE WHO CLINGS TO HIS STUPIDITY AND STUBBORNNESS INSTEAD OF WAKING UP AND FACING REALITY!"

"You...you don't know what you're talking about...!" Shoto coughed, his mouth filling with blood.

"REALLY?! REALLY?! THEN JUST GO AHEAD AND FORFEIT NOW! BECAUSE THAT'S ALL A WORTHLESS COWARDLY DEKU LIKE YOU CAN DO! YOU GIVE UP! AND YOU DISAPPOINT OTHERS! YOUR SIBLINGS! YOUR FATHER! YOUR MOTHER! I BET YOUR POOR MOTHER IS SO ASHAMED TO HAVE A WORTHLESS SON LIKE YOU!"

"Don't talk about her...!" Shoto had tears running down his bloodied face.

"SON OF THE #2 HERO?! YOU'RE A JOKE! A PATHETIC DEKU SCARED OF HIS OWN QUIRK! IT'S SO PATHETIC, I WANT TO LAUGH!"

Izuku then picked up Shoto and began headbutting him several times, his horns cutting into his scalp with each impact before lifting him over his head and roaring to the crowds.

"IS THIS THE KIND OF HERO YOU WANT PROTECTING YOU?! SOMEONE WHO HALF-ASSES EVERYTHING AND INSULTS THE HARD WORK OF EVERYONE ELSE DOING THEIR BEST TO CONTAIN THEIR MONSTROUS QUIRKS?! SOMEONE WHO'LL LET PEOPLE DIE JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE FAMILY ISSUES!?"

The crowd was silent in terror and contemplation, but they had little time to think when they where cut off by an enraged:

"IS IT?!"

"Stop it...Stop it...STOP ITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPIT! STOP IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!" Shoto screamed, his left side exploding in flames as they engulfed both him and Izuku, a towering inferno spiraled upward as everyone leaned back in their seats to avoid the heat.

When the chaos died down, both Izuku and Shoto were burnt to crisps, Izuku dropping Shoto with tears in his eyes that turned to steam as he fell onto his knees and bowed over Shoto's mangled body.

"Why...why did you have to make me do this...?"

The two boys were rushed to the ICU, Endevour paying for both of them and refusing to leave Shoto's side. He also made it clear he would NOT be taking action against Izuku nor would he allow anyone else. The whole time, he remembered his oldest son….

Despite their terrible injuries, both boys would pull through. Especially when Izuku demanded his blood be given to help Shoto once his healing factor kicked in.

SANCTUARY

From their bar lair, the League of Villains was stunned into silence. That was not what they had been expecting.

After the massive heaping of pride in his grandson's overwhelming strength, which was shared by his old partners, All for One felt disgust in himself; knowing that part of his grandson came from him.

Suddenly the males of the Volcanic trio burst into laughter and grabbed more drinks, celebrating the humiliating defeat of Endeavour's child and the showcasing of power from their partner's grandson.

Dusty Ash however, spied Tomura leave and followed him, despite Kurogiri suggesting otherwise, for her own safety. She found him on his bed, scratching like crazy and rambling aout how awesome his cousin was but how he didn't want that to be how he became awesome.

The villainess just sat down beside him and let him vent, gently caressing him and helping calm him down.

SANCTUARY

"Well, we had quite a few intense moments, but luckily, there are no fatalities!" Present Mic said. "Midoriya, Todoroki, and Neito are all stated to make full recoveries where they're staying!"

"We'll have some final words from the students of Sanctuary and their chosen opponents. After all, quite a few controversial moments happened here today." Aizawa said.

"Let it be said from us that these kids are NOT monsters and villains. They are children who have been suffering from prejudice, ignorance, and powers out of their control. They refuse to break and we are here to make sure they become exemplary heroes." Nagant finished.

All of Class Sanctuary minus Izuku stood alongside their chosen opponents. Amity took a deep breath as she decided to go first but suddenly, a crashing sound was heard as everyone in the audience perked up.

Suddenly, much to everyone's shock, a rather pricey car crashed into the arena, driving out of control as the students of Sanctuary grabbed their rivals and got them out of the way to safety. The car finally crashed into the wall and stopped, the crowds gasping in shock before the door opened.

"Alright, who's the wise guy?!" The Punching Hero: Death Arms asked as several Pro Heroes jumped down to assess the damage and apprehend the maniac driver.

"How did that car get past security?" Kamui Woods asked Mt. Lady, who nervously shrugged.

Suddenly, the car door opened and out stumbled someone that shocked everyone present.

"Jinko Wangei?!" Nagant gasped, recognizing her former boss.

The Heroic Public Safety Committee President wasn't looking good. His face was bloodied, his nose was broken, his mouth was duct taped shut, an explosive collar was around his neck and some kind of message was taped to his chest.

"Oh my god...THERE'S A BOMB AROUND HIS NECK!" Mt. Lady screamed as the crowds panicked and began evacuating. Jinko shook his head, tears of fear running down his face before a ringing was heard.

"Wait, that message..." Masato noted, narrowing in on what was taped to the HPSC President's chest and saw what was written on it.

TO CLASS SANCTUARY

Suddenly, the Jumbotron began glitching wildly, a green question mark showing in the center before everyone still present looked up to see the unmistakable masked face of the notorious serial killer that had been haunting them.

"YOU!" Spinel shouted, pointing a dramatic finger at the screen.

"Easy, sweetie." Melissa gently said, placing her hands on the rubbery girl's shoulders.

"What an amazing game you've all been playing today..." The Riddler said. "But now...it's time to switch over to my game..."

"Why are you doing this?!" Luz demanded loudly.

"No big reason...simply to unmask the truth about this cesspool we call a society."

It seemed the Sports Festival had taken a truly dark turn...and our young heroes knew that it was only going to get worse...

Devil Dragon Stand Knight A/N:

And so, we cap off the Sports Festival Arc and get into some new original stuff! What kind of game does the Riddler have planned for the Sanctuary kids? Will Izuku and Shoto recover? Who is this mysterious Dr. Crane talking with Rei Todoroki? All will be explained in the next chapter!

I had a lot of fun with Izuku and Shoto's fight. I don't know why, but knocking Shoto off his high horse is fun to me and I may have gone a little too far, if there are any ideas on how the situation can be resolved, me and Mrotrax are all ears.
