I apologize for the title of this chapter sounding like a Sonic Boom episode title. I couldn't think of anything, okay?

Eggman peered into a telescope and observed the chaos unfolding all around him. It was nice seeing things working out just how you've planned. He was standing on the metal wall, his chair lying empty below him.

Suddenly there was a creaking noise and an explosion. Red light now leaked in through a giant gaping hole in the side of the doctor's newest invention. The Egg Wrecker was… wrecked. Already. Oh well, it had served its purpose. Sparks now showered inside the control room as the outline of a hedgehog emerged from the torn metal. He slid his inhibitor rings back on and faced Eggman. "Doctor." Just then, the emergency escape hatch opened up behind him, and Honest the Cat poked her head and comically large ears out.

Dr. Eggman rolled his eyes and pushed the telescope up and out of the way. "Oh, boy. The fun police. Can't you just mind your own business?"

Shadow flicked a fleck of metal off his arm and started walking towards him. Honest climbed out of the floor and made a scary face as she ran over and started pressing buttons. They each had a spatial stabilizer around their wrists. Eggman wished he would've thought of trying to make his own for this mission. It would make things a lot easier.

"Nope! The real fun police are the Zone Cops," she told him, flicking what looked like a light switch. A set of two large shutters opened, revealing windows that looked over the town. Above them, in the sky, was No Zone Prison. It didn't take much thought to realize that No Zone Prison was the equivalent to Prison Island back in the Prime-verse. It was an island, too. A sky island. Honest climbed into the window to get a better look. "And they should be here… soon."

Doctor Eggman appeared to be confused by the way he was staring at Honest as if she were a hideous insect that had just crawled across his wall. "How did you know which switch to flick?"

"I saw the plans for this thing when I was at your base last. You just left them lying out, so I thought I'd take a look."

"Ergh, I thought I told you not to touch anything not related to Shadow's brother while you were there," the doctor scolded. Honest just shrugged.

Meanwhile, Shadow was looking around the rest of Eggman's strange contraption. He couldn't help but notice how shabby and poorly held together everything looked. Light leaked in through every sparsely riveted square of metal. If he hadn't known better, Shadow would have said it looked more… disposable. Compared to his usual machines, at least.

Honest looked over the rest of the controls from her vantage point up in the window. She dropped out of it and hovered her finger over a particular set of controls. Eggman turned white. "And I know what these control, so maybe you'd like to tell us why you've destroyed the stadium and released the prisoners."

The doctor just looked insulted and tried to shoo her away from the controls. "That's none of your business. If I wanted you to know who sent me, I would have told you."

"A-ha!" Honest exclaimed, pointing at him. "So, someone sent you, huh? Shadow? That's all we needed, let's go."

The Ultimate Breacher of Privacy stuck his head up from behind a stack of crates.

"Hey!" Eggman shouted. "Snooping again, huh? I knew you two were the fun police. I bet the Zone cops sent you here!"

"Calm down," the stripy hedgehog said, standing up. "It's only natural for me to be curious about what you're doing here. You just released hundreds of dangerous criminals into the multiverse."

Sudden knocking could be heard outside. "Dr Eggman? We have a warrant for your arrest." The doctor's blood ran cold.

"It's the Zone cops," he whispered. He looked between Honest and Shadow. "Let me escape through the escape hatch and I'll… I'll pay you in tuna and granola bars."

"Sorry," Honest apologized. "Take one for the team, will you?"

"What?!" Eggman said loudly, obviously feeling betrayed. The Zone police came through the hole Shadow busted in the side, led by a familiar face. Well, familiar to Honest since she read the Comics, not so much Shadow or Eggman… unless one of them had. There were so many issues that it was hard to keep track of that stuff, even if you've read all of them three times now like Honest had.

"Zonic!" Honest exclaimed, clapping as if he had just put on a really great performance by showing up when he did. Two other Zone cops followed behind him with their visors down, obscuring their identities. Honest pointed to the egg-shaped man standing on the wall. "We have your culprit!"

Zonic just walked past them and made a beeline for the scared doctor. Honest sighed. She almost forgot how serious he could be. She snuck a glance towards Shadow to see he was locking up and becoming a vegetable again, which made Honest sigh even more. It was obvious that the two other Zone cops with their visors down were watching her and Shadow like a pair of hawks in multi-colored armored suits. Whoever designed the Zone police sure made them goofy-looking as heck.

Eggman was feeling around on the console above him with his mouth locked in a shaky perma-grin. "Good job on finding me, Zonic. I couldn't make it any more obvious, could I?"

Yeah, he couldn't have. It was as if he were trying to attract Zonic to his location. And how did he know his name? Eggman looked over at Honest for a split second, and she waved since no one but Shadow could possibly see her. As Eggman found what he was searching for, Zonic threw a control collar, but it just impacted the metal wall behind where Eggman was standing as he immediately warped away upon pressing a button on the console on his ceiling, their wall.

"Uh… Oops," came the muffled voice of one of the other Zone cops. Zonic turned back around and walked back to the hole where they came in from. He stopped and turned towards Honest who immediately ceased smiling once she saw the angry look on his somewhat familiar face. It wasn't the deep scornful frown, but the eyes that were throwing her off, however.

Honest remembered back to {Limited Edition} when she had confessed how scared she was in the narration. "Discomfort was only temporary. The discomfort Honest would feel when she found herself in Sonic's line of sight was only temporary. It was only temporary." Man, that repetition was amazing. Anyway, it felt like she was in Sonic's line of sight right now, except for one not-so-obvious difference. This No Zone version of Sonic's eyes were darker than Sonic's, kind of like… Dark Sonic's eyes. What a strange detail. Probably, the only reason Honest noticed was because she had Sonic's eyes burned into her memory. She knew the discomfort would only be temporary, but even in knowing that, she was still deeply bothered.

"You two. I want to see you two at the prison right away. We need to get to the bottom of this before they get too far, and we need to find where they're heading." He walked out. The other Zone cops were slow to follow and watched Honest and Shadow as if they didn't trust that they weren't involved somehow. Eventually, when all three of them left, Shadow spoke.

"I thought you knew all the controls. How did you not know there was a button to teleport the doctor?" he asked.

Honest laughed nervously. "I knew, but he's not really important right now. He was sent, remember? And now, he owes me again. Isn't it great?" Shadow rolled his eyes. "Anyway, we should probably follow them as I have no clue how to get up there."

"If I still had my Chaos emerald, that wouldn't be a problem," Shadow reminded her, his ears lowered and making him look like an angry cat.

"Quit being such a grump about it. I'll get you another one soon," Honest told him.

"And how do you plan on doing that?" Shadow asked. They both followed the inter-dimensional police officers out through the hole Shadow made earlier with his sick entrance which Honest planned on drawing right away. Perhaps she could perform her own kind of literary Chaos Control in order to get time to do just that.

"I'm working on it. Perhaps we'll manifest one while we're here," Honest replied, shrugging.

When words such as "manifest" came out of Honest's mouth, it was hard to tell whether she was exaggerating or being entirely Honest. Shadow decided he would just go along with it and find out later.

Just then a streak of blue shot past them and then rocketed backwards. Stopping on a dime in front of them in the grass was the blue blur himself, Sonic the Hedgehog. "There you two are," he said, looking nervous. "Hey, I need to go back to Mobius to make sure that's not where all the prisoners are going."

"Yeah, that definitely sounds like a good idea," Shadow told him, crossing his arms. Honest filled her cheeks full of air and then blew all of it out. Shadow and Sonic just looked at her curiously.

"Shadow and I are going to assist the Zone police in finding out how and why this all happened," Honest told Sonic eagerly, her hands fists.

Sonic smiled, obviously thrilled that they had a plan. "Sounds good. See you later!" He took off again.

Somewhere very near, two friends of Honest's were having a bad time. Their friendship with each other was strained, one of them betrayed by another. However, they were both criminals if either one of them talked.

Maybe Honest should get there soon and tell them this so they won't accidentally do anything. Yeah, that was the plan. The true plan.
