A/N: Do I even need to put a gore warning here anymore? You all know what to expect at this point.

It was a warm, summer night. I could hear the infernal crickets chirping away without a care in the world, as if they were completely oblivious to how annoying they sounded. However, as much as I hated them, I couldn't deny how useful they were in masking my footsteps. My prey was completely unaware of my presence, walking along the path without so much of as an inkling of what was lurking in the bushes.

My prey was a monster. That was a rarity, of course, considering how uncommon it was to actually catch one of them in the act of doing something horrible. Of course, I'd come across plenty of dried up husks in my hunts, but the perpetrators were usually long gone by then. Unfortunately for the fool in front of me, I'd come across her just as she'd killed some poor man. His death was unavoidable, sadly. I'd caught the tail end of their little session, and even if I had intervened, it wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Though, the woman I was stalking wasn't something that would normally be in this region. It was a tarantula girl, which was strange to see. Those things didn't normally wander anywhere near Enrika. In fact, I wasn't completely sure if any lived on this continent normally. I'm fairly certain that the one in the game had been on Sentora...

I couldn't remember for sure, though. It had been quite a few years since I'd played the game, and I probably wouldn't ever be able to again. Besides, why would I want to when I literally lived in a monster town? That was like, guaranteed pussy.

I'm getting off-topic. The point is, I was stalking a tarantula girl. I hadn't attacked immediately, because I wanted to make sure her guard was completely down. When she was least expecting it, I'd swoop in and stab her in the neck with my sword. I didn't want a long, drawn-out fight, as that would attract all kinds of attention. Besides, I got my fill of battle from Yuri's daily spars, thank you very much. She'd been kicking my ass for years now, and recently she's gotten even more intense with it.

Oh, by the way, Yuri had gotten me a new short-sword once she realized what all my hunts might entail. I could handle most monsters around here with my hands, but occasionally, there were more powerful beings lurking around. She'd wanted me to be armed at all times, which was a sentiment I fully shared. Micaela was still a little iffy on the idea of leaving me unattended with a weapon, but nobody cared about her opinion.

I felt my mind freeze as I heard the sound of a branch snap underfoot. My target froze, turning towards me with impressive swiftness. She wasn't nearly as fast as Yuri would've been, but it was still enough that I regarded her as a somewhat serious threat. Of course, I was obscured by trees, bushes, and other foliage, so she didn't see me, at least not instantly. She was searching though, and that was a problem.

I really should've been paying attention to where I stepped. That was one of the first lessons that Yuri had taught me when I started hunting, so you'd think that I would actually follow her advice. But, unfortunately, I'm an idiot.

"You can come out now. I won't bite~" She called out seductively. "I've been able to sense you since you starting following me."

...Shit, was that true? Could she really sense me? If that was the case, then I really needed to learn how to fix that. Was there a way to mask it, like a bad smell?

Eh, questions for later.

Since stealth clearly hadn't been working from the start, I decided to go with the loud approach. Swiftly, I jumped from my hiding spot, sword in hand. With a grunt, I charged forwards, intent on skewering her with my blade. Her eyes widened briefly, and she leapt backwards, using her many powerful legs to leap onto a tree. Great, she could climb, too.

"Oh, you're a naughty boy, aren't you~" She practically moaned, making my twitch in annoyance. "Attacking me like that. I'll be sure to punish you properly."

I rolled my eyes at her words, but didn't comment. I had nothing to say to her arrogant words. She'd be proved wrong soon enough, and that was all the satisfaction I needed.

Still, I couldn't exactly attack her from where she was. If I wanted to land a hit, I needed her to get closer. I'd need to goad her into attacking, it seemed. I wondered what to do for a moment, before deciding just to insult her. It would work on me, so I saw no reason to believe it wouldn't work on her.

"Hey, she-bitch." I growled out, gesturing at her with my sword. "Let's go."*

It wasn't a strong line, in hindsight, but it got the job done. The tarantula girl frowned, glaring angrily at me. With barely a sound, she leapt from the tree, aiming to land on top of me, I rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding getting pinned underneath her. As tempting as it might've been to let her have me, I'd seen how that ended for the poor bastard before me. Besides, I could do better than a fucking tarantula girl.

She swept at me with one of her legs, trying to knock me over, I dodged to the side, flicking my sword out at the offending limb. She yelped as the cold steel bit into her leg, drawing a significant amount of the red. I forced myself to focus on the foe in front of me, so I wouldn't get lost in the river of crimson liquid that flowed off her.

I went on the offensive, dashing into her guard. She tried to kick me with her other leg, but I sidestepped that one, wincing as I realized that it missed by millimeters. I thrusted my sword forwards, aiming for her gut. She jumped backwards, avoiding most of the blow. Still, the tip nicked her somewhat, drawing a cut along her waist.'

"You'll pay for that." She growled, getting ready to leap at me once again. I rolled out of the way, narrowly avoiding her speeding form as she bounded past me. She turned on a dime, rushing at me again with impressive mobility. I tried to dodge, but she still side-swiped me, sending me off balance. I recovered quickly, regaining my footing just in time to see her charge yet again. I didn't have the time to dodge the next attack, so I did the next best thing. I stood completely still, pointing my sword directly at her. Her eyes widened as she realized my plan, digging her legs into the ground to try and slow herself. Alas, her momentum was too great.

Time seemed to slow as she skidded towards me, impaling herself on my blade. The metal skewered through her tarantula half, burying itself up to the hilt. I felt the red spurt onto my arm, shuddering as the wonderful feeling coursed through me.

The tarantula girl screamed, her cries of agony echoing throughout the forest. I winced at the noise, cursing as I felt a headache coming on. The way she was yelling would no doubt attract attention. I had to end this quickly, lest someone approach.

Before I could pull the sword out, I was kicked away by one of her large legs. I crashed into a tree, grunting as I felt my entire body shake from the impact. It wasn't a debilitating blow, but that didn't mean the pain was insignificant.

She continued to scream as she sprinted towards me, pure hatred in her eyes. Thankfully, the horrific amount of pain she was probably in served to slow her down by a significant margin. I stepped to the left, easily avoiding her sloppy attack. Then, when she collided with the tree behind me, I scrabbled up onto her back. She tried to throw me off, but I held tight.

With a savage, feral grin, I slammed my teeth into her throat, biting down with all the force I could muster. The red sprung force like a geyser, and I greedily drank all I could, groaning as I felt my body begin to tingle with that familiar sensation.

The tarantula girl's struggles weakened over time, before she finally succumbed to the loss of blood. Her lower body eventually collapsed, nearly jostling me from my position. However, I held tight, even as she toppled onto her side, dumping me onto the ground. I was going to hold on until every drop was exhausted, because It wasn't every day that I got to enjoy red from a monster.

I was snapped out of my trance by a sudden, horrified exclamation. It wasn't a scream, so much as a surprised yelp. I snapped towards the origin of the noise, cursing at what I saw.

It was one of the elves from the village. She was completely frozen, her mouth open in horror. Slowly, she took a step back, and then another, before turning and sprinting away, likely back to the village.

"Wait, come back!" I yelled, chasing after her as fast as I could. "Shit, don't freak out!"

Now, you might be wondering why I was so concerned about this. First of all, none of the civilians in the town knew about my fixation. That knowledge was restricted to me, Yuri, Micaela, and the guard detail. Ordinary people didn't really know about it.

I didn't want them to know, either. They wouldn't understand, and some people might even try to take things into their own hands. I could take a couple of elves in a fight, but I stopped being confident when the number grew to more than five. While I was certain that a mob would be easily dealt with by Yuri, such an incident would still cause problems down the road.

After a moment, I caught up to her, roughly grabbing her by the shoulder. Before she could do anything, I pinned her to a nearby tree, pointedly ignoring how scandalous the position looked.

"Alright, listen to me." I grunted, glaring into her terrified eyes. "I'm gonna have to ask you not to mention what you just saw to anyone."

She opened her mouth to scream, but I shoved my arm against her face before she could get a word out.

"Calm down!" I hissed, nervously looking around for any possible witnesses. "I ain't gonna hurt ya. Just don't tell anyone about this, and you won't have to worry about me."

I was hoping she'd nod, or agree, or do something like that. Instead of doing any logical things, she kneed me in the balls.

"FUCK!" I roared, falling backwards as I clutched my family jewels. The elf ran past me, sprinting back towards the village like her life depended on it. I mean, I wasn't going to hurt her, but she didn't seem to understand that for some reason.

I scrambled back onto my feet, chasing after her once again.

"For fuck's sake, I already said I wasn't gonna hurt you!" I yelled after her. "Come on, let's talk this out!"

She was uninterested in talking, if the way she sped up was any indication. I was starting to get annoyed, but I kept my cool. I wasn't going to hurt a random civilian, no matter how aggravating they were. She hadn't really done anything to warrant such a response.

As we grew close to the town, she began to yell for the guards. This was around the time when I realized that I should've probably just cut my losses and gone directly to Micaela. Unfortunately, before I could do that, I was practically surrounded by guards. ('Surrounded' is a strong term, because there were only like, six of them, but still.) Amelia was not one of them, which was odd, but maybe she was off-duty, or something.

"Halt, human." One of them said, crossing their arms. "Why were you chasing her?"

I opened my mouth to explain the situation, but was cut off by a different one.

"Oh, I know!" The other one said, a hint of a smirk on her face. "You were trying to kill her, weren't you?"

I shook my head rapidly, surprised at the sudden accusation. I mean, I probably looked shady as all hell, being covered in so much red, but I'd lived in this village for years without incident. Surely, that would award me some credit, right?

"What? No! I ju-" I began, before being interrupted yet again, this time by the elf I'd been chasing.

"I don't think you understand what's about to happen." She chuckled somewhat menacingly, all signs of fear completely gone.

What the hell? Had she been faking being afraid? Why would she do that? I looked at the guards, noticing the rather sinister expressions that each one wore. Then, I noticed the rather... hungry looks in their eyes.

...This was a fuckin' setup.

"Now, ladies..." I ground out, trying my best to keep from screaming out obscenities. "I hope you're not planning on doing anything rash. Isn't this supposed to be a pacifist village, or something stupid like that?"

One of the guards, a woman with a pale, almost purple complexion, smirked viciously. For a moment, I thought I recognized her, before idly realizing that she was one of the elves that Luka fought when journeying to Enrika. More specifically, she was the one with the tentacles. I couldn't see any extra appendages attached to her at the moment, so I assumed that they were hidden. I did not want to get caught by that. As much as I'd just love getting things shoved up my ass (sarcasm), that would almost certainly end in my death.

The rest of the guards were just... kind of generic, really. That didn't make them any less dangerous however. They were still monsters after all, so I had to be careful.

The Tentacle Elf (Who will henceforth be known as the Dark Elf Mage) laughed loudly, a sound that made me want to kill her on the spot.

"What, do you think Micaela investigates every person that lives here?" She chuckled. "I just moved here so I could avoid those troublesome heroes, while snacking on the occasional man that wanders too far into the woods. I think you'll find that my friends here had similar purposes for living here."

I glanced again at the guards, scoffing in disdain at their lewd, almost desperate expressions. This was honestly disgusting behavior. They wanted to fucking jump me? These fools didn't know who they were dealing with.

"Do you really think this will end well for you?" I asked, glaring at her with all the intensity I could muster. "Let's take a moment to think about things. First of all, what do you think Micaela will think when my corpse is found? She'll look at the lewdest members of the town, which are obviously all of you. Second, what do you think Yuri is gonna do when she hears about this? She'd fucking slaughter all of you."

The Dark Elf Mage laughed again, making my eye twitch. God, she just wouldn't shut the fuck up. Her haughty, seductive tone was so fucking annoying, and I honestly didn't understand why anyone put up with it.

"Micaela doesn't trust you." She smugly stated, smirking evilly. "Sure, she'd be suspicious, but when all of us come up with the same story, being that you went berserk and attacked our friend here, she'll have no choice but to believe us."

I glanced around, wondering if I could get away from this fight. I wanted to kill them, I won't lie. However, I wasn't really sure if this was a fight I could win. I mean, don't get me wrong, I could demolish a single elf. I could probably get away with fighting two or three of them, but six? Actually, it would be seven, counting the elf that led me here to begin with. However, they seemed ready to stop me if I tried to flee, so what could I do...

Well, if I raise enough hell, someone is bound to notice, right? That would probably go poorly, but if I somehow managed to catch Yuri's attention...

Another thought occurred to me just then. I didn't have to kill all of them, as much as I would've liked to. I just needed to dispose of enough of them so that I could escape. Though, if I did manage to get rid of them all, I could have an absolute feast of red.

Decisions, decisions...

My sword came free from its sheathe with a rasp of steel. I wasn't attacking just yet. I was going to deliver a message before the situation descended into fighting.

"You're all fools." I shouted loudly, almost in a theatric sort-of way. "If you plan to take me, you'd better be prepared to work for it!"

With that, I dashed to the left, targeting one of the guards at my side. She tried to dodge, but was far too slow, letting out a scream of pain as I rent open a large gash just beneath her ribs. She dropped like a sack of potatoes, clutching the wound pathetically.

The others exploded into action, lunging towards me with considerable speed. It seemed that their plan was to trap me in a ring of bodies, which wasn't a bad idea, I will admit. However, the whole plan was hinged on the idea that they were faster than me. Most of them likely were, by a small bit, but it wasn't enough to matter. I jumped to the right, flicking my sword out to nick at the small group. Most of them avoided the attack, but one of the elves was unable to stop herself in time, essentially being clotheslined by the blade. It cut her in two, sending her upper half toppling over with an inhuman screech of agony. The bottom half was carried forward a few feet by sheer momentum, eventually crashing against a tree. It was almost comical, in a macabre sort-of way.

I turned to face the remaining foes, who were looking quite a bit more cautious after that exchange. The Dark Elf Mage looked surprised, but she wasn't yet panicked. In fact, she seemed somewhat excited, which was... odd.

"Oh my." She said with a wide grin. "You are far better than I expected. Perhaps I should use my special technique on you~"

I chuckled at her comment. I wasn't really all that good, in the grand scheme of things. If they'd taken me seriously from the beginning, then they wouldn't have already been down by two people. Now that they'd seen that I was truly a threat, it was likely that they would resort to more safe tactics. That could be a problem for me, as I was still decently outnumbered.

"Is your secret attack tentacles?" I deadpanned, catching her off-guard. "Because I'm afraid I already know about that."

She blinked owlishly, not quite sure how to respond. After a moment of staring, she began to laugh uproariously, which made my eye twitch.

"Wow, you really are more interesting than I thought." She declared, continuing to suffer the occasional giggle fit. "Well, it would be disrespectful not to show them off after that. Behold, the very instruments I will use to suck you dry!"

Suddenly, her left arm exploded into a writhing, coiling mass of slippery, foul-smelling tentacles. They made noises too, which only added to the creepiness factor.

With a flick of her arm, the disgusting mass shot towards me with concerning speed. I yelped as I jumped to the side, avoiding the slimy appendages, only to watch in horror as they bent at a ninety degree angle, pursuing me with relentless ferocity.

The other guards were slowly approaching as well, seemingly looking for the perfect moment to strike. I would've attacked one of them, but unfortunately, I was trying to avoid the great wall of tentacles. I was a man of many fetishes, and I could probably be considered a low-tier masochist at times, but literal fucking tentacle-rape wasn't something I ever wanted to experience.

I swung at the ever-approaching mass, managing to slice away a few of the offending limbs, but there were so many that it hardly made a difference. Maybe after a few swings the herd would be thin enough, but I wasn't going to chance it. I'd already risked my neck with that one attack. Doing anything other than dodging would be suicide.

"FUCK OFF WITH THIS!" I roared at the mage, rolling out of the way of yet another barrage. "YOU CHEAP, CRAB-RIDDLED WHORE!"

Not my finest insult, but give me a break. I was kind of preoccupied at the moment.

I dodged behind one of the elves that had been foolish enough to get close. She received the full hit from the writhing mass, getting tangled up in the chaotic meteor of tentacles. It took a moment for her to get out of the mass. Thankfully, the mage didn't attack while this was happening, allowing me to temporarily focus on the other elves who had gotten decidedly too close for comfort. I debated striking out at them, but realized that they'd likely dogpile me if I got too close. That would be troublesome to escape, so I decided instead to make some distance.

With a loud curse, I sprinted away, running towards my house. Yuri could deal with these fools handily, and without much risk to herself. If I got caught, it was over, especially if one of them got a hold of my... well, you know.

Fuck, I really needed to get stronger. It was just shameful that I couldn't defend myself here. Sure, there were multiple monsters, one of them being a fuckin' tentacle mage, but that still didn't excuse my weakness. I'd been lucky so far, but a single grab could spell doom for me.

Quickly, I rounded a corner, hoping to shake them off my trail at least somewhat. There weren't a lot of places to hide in the village, but if I put enough effort into it, I could at least get out of sight. From there, I could go inform Yuri or Micaela of my plight. They'd handle it, somehow.

It was good fortune that I'd ducked around the corner at that very moment, as the mass of limbs practically whistled by me. I could practically feel the wind as it shot past me with concerning agility, ruffling my already messy hair.

"FUCK!" I roared, realizing how close to death I'd just come. Swiftly, I picked up the pace, running past another house. I briefly looked back, seeing only the mage. Where the hell had all the other elves gone?

My question was answered when my face slammed into something rather soft. Of course, this didn't just magically get rid of all that built-up momentum. The elf I'd collided into was sent flying along with me, yelping as she impacted the ground. I landed atop her, my face firmly planted in her boobs. My sword was knocked out of my hand from the unexpected force, shooting off in some unknown direction.

Desperately, I scrambled upward, pointedly ignoring the growing tent in my pants. Ah, so this is how Luka felt whenever fighting a monster, then? It was unpleasant, not to mention embarrassing. Was I really so pent up that simply touching someone got my little trooper excited? That was an... unfortunate issue. Whatever, I can deal with that later. My survival instinct was still mostly intact.

Of course, I might not have had the chance to, seeing as how the elf beneath me latched onto my leg, sending me tumbling with a squawk. Before I could attempt to shake her off, I felt the weight of multiple guards pile onto my back. Roughly, the grasping hands of the monsters shifted me around, flipping me onto my back. I tried to break free, but quickly found my arms and legs restrained by multiple tentacles.

The Dark Elf Mage looked incredibly smug, grinning in a way that was decidedly creepy as fuck. I glared at her with all the hate I could muster (which, as has been previously established, is a lot.), growling generic obscenities as I struggled with all my might. Alas, I couldn't break free of her slippery hold.

The cold, slimy feeling of the tentacles sent disgusted shivers down my spine. It was even more unpleasant when I felt them start to fool around with my pants. I'd worn a belt, so they couldn't just immediately take me, at least.

"Where'd all that confidence from earlier go?" The mage asked with a wide, evil smile. "Don't look so scared. You'll enjoy this soon enough~"

I felt a sense of doom wash over me, the cold feeling of desolation coming to rest within my stomach. I was going to die here. That realization was made worse by the fact that my death would be incredibly humiliating. Honestly, it would've been better if she just stabbed me. At least then I wouldn't have to suffer through all of her perverted plans.

These... monsters were disgusting. What kind of being could sleep at night after doing such a thing to another living being? At least I didn't torture the people I killed. They at least died with some semblance of honor intact! This was just... deplorable! It just wasn't fair!

I felt a strange tingling sensation slowly spread throughout my body, but I didn't pay attention to it, instead continuing my struggles against my captor, desperately attempting to do something about my situation.

With a click, I realized that my belt had finally come undone, leaving me practically defenseless from her attacks. I should've been terrified, but I just felt far too angry to be afraid. How dare these people try to attack me? I hadn't even done anything to them, and yet they were trying to kill me!

My other thoughts and emotions were starting to feel... muted. It was definitely strange, but I had bigger fish to fry at the moment. The previously mentioned tingling sensation seemed to intensify, but I still didn't care enough to notice. All I could think about was ripping that bitch's face off.

I felt a surge of energy suddenly flow through me, coming from seemingly nowhere. I struggled with newfound strength, finding it much easier to move around. With a jerk of movement, I'd torn my right arm from the grasp of those filthy tentacles, shredding the ones that tried to stop me. I did the same with my left, grinning as I heard the Mage's pained yelp. More tentacles tried to coil around me, but I swatted them away with ease. With both hands, I ripped my legs free, pulling off the disgusting tentacles that continued to feebly cling onto me.

Where had all this wonderful strength come from? I'd been trying my hardest to move even an inch not thirty seconds ago, so why was it now so easy? Frankly, at the moment, I didn't care. My thoughts only really consisted of killing the bitch that stood before me.

My throat ached with a sudden thirst. That was odd, as I had just drank the red from that tarantula. Oh well, that didn't matter at the moment. I had another fresh supply right in front of me, after all.

Speaking of the Mage, she was suddenly a lot less sure of herself. Quickly, she stepped backwards, looking at me with wide eyes. After a moment, she gestured at me, looking to the remaining guards in her little group.

"What are you doing?" She asked, a little bit of panic on her voice. "Attack him already!"

They crowded around me, weapons at the ready. Had my mind not been preoccupied with a sudden, violent lust for red, I would've stopped for a moment to ponder if this was a fight I could win. However, the idea of losing was the farthest thing from my mind right then.

"Ooh, this promises to be fun." I grinned, my eyes scanning the fools who'd attacked me. They were all dead, they just didn't know it yet.*

With a laugh, I cracked my knuckles, and got to work.

*LINEBREAK*

The Dark Elf Mage wasn't quite sure where her plan had gone wrong. All she'd wanted to do was deal with the pesky boy that lived in town. It was a miracle that he'd lived this long in a monster village, and honestly, she wanted him gone. She'd gathered other, like-minded individuals, and formed a... coalition, of sorts. Their aim was to take the child in practically every way possible. Most had even become part of the town guard to make that task easier.

At first, she hadn't been all that worried. Sure, he killed a couple elves. Big fucking deal, she could do that too. Of course, chasing him around was a pain, but he just wouldn't stop moving. Though, that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. She did like to play with her food, after all.

She'd caught him after a few minutes, basking in the fear that he seemed to exude. It was a familiar feeling, enjoying the terror of her prey before she thoroughly ravished them. Hearing their panicked screams morph into wails of pleasure never failed to put a smile on her face. Before she could begin her games with the boy however, something strange happened.

The change had happened nearly instantly. Like the flip of a coin, his attitude was dramatically transformed. No longer was he scared or fearful. All those wonderfully delectable emotions had been replaced with cruel, mind-numbing rage. Though, underneath all that, there was a hint of... excitement.

There was a violent burst of power from his form, which had caught her completely off-guard. Where had all this sudden strength come from? Only a few seconds ago, he'd been far weaker than her. Now he felt... more powerful than any of them.

That just didn't make sense though! How could a mere human hold such strength? And even if he was normally that strong, then how had he hidden it? Only more powerful monsters could learn to conceal their energy, and even then, it was quite the difficult process.

With seemingly little effort, he tore himself from her grasp, batting away her tentacles as if they were nothing more than a mild inconvenience. He glanced at her, his cold eyes filled with a strange kind of desperation. It was the kind of look that a starving wolf would give to a cornered rabbit: full of desire, and completely lacking in mercy. It wasn't a sexual kind of desire, either. It was more of a hungry kind of look, really. The point is, it was incredibly off-putting.

The mage stepped backwards, warily eyeing her foe. There was a strange, nagging feeling in the back of her head. It was almost as if there was a voice telling her to run. She dismissed that notion, shaking her head. The boy may have been more powerful than she'd expected, but he was still just a human, and she had numbers on her side.

She looked towards the remaining guards, gesturing to the boy somewhat frantically. There was a strange knot in her stomach, and it wouldn't go away no matter how much she tried to ignore it. The idea that she should run continued to bounce around in her head, but she kept her ground.

"What are you doing?" She asked, annoyed at the slight wavering in her voice. "Attack him already!"

What followed next was an incredibly violent display, one that she hadn't been prepared for in the slightest.

The four remaining elves approached him cautiously, wary of being struck. His blade had been knocked away from him, so they were feeling a little more confident. Still, there was a bit of uncertainty in them. Hell, she felt it too. The boy was dangerous, and killing him would probably be good for the town. Of course, that wasn't why they wanted him dead, but it was still a positive in her eyes.

Their cockiness died a quick and ugly death when he snatched the closest one by the wrist, and forced her onto the ground. With a grunt, he stomped on her arm, eliciting a shriek from his victim as the sound of snapping bone echoed throughout the town. Swiftly, he grabbed the offending limb with his other hand, and started to pull. The elf's screams quickly heightened in volume. Despite this, none of the other elves moved, seemingly transfixed by the sight. It was only when he managed to literally rip the limb off that the other elves took action, hacking at him with their weapons. They'd forgone using pleasure attacks, deciding just to hurt him instead.

As one of the elves grew close, he turned, and slammed the arm into the side of her head, blood dripping messily from his improvised weapon. She dropped her sword, momentarily dazed by the vicious blow. Before she could recover, he slammed his shoulder into her, sending her sprawling to the ground. Lazily, he reached down for the sword, tossing the arm at the other elf that was still standing. For a second, he inspected the blade, muttering to himself as he did so. Then, after deeming it acceptable, he turned towards the elf on the floor, and brought it down on her leg.

She screamed as the limb was cruelly removed from her form, only to screech even louder as he brought it down again on her other leg. Once both limbs were severed, he stared down at her, as if she were but a mere insect to him.

"Stay there, will you?" He grunted casually, as if he was just talking about the weather. "I've gotta take care of your friend over there."

The final elf was the woman who'd lured him into their trap. She was pointing a dagger at him, holding it like it was her lifeline. The boy chuckled, and rushed towards her. She stabbed out with the blade, but he easily deflected it with his sword. With his free hand, he reached backwards, and rammed his fist into her stomach with seemingly all the strength he could muster.

With a loud, sickening rip of flesh, her torso gave way, allowing his hand access into her insides. With a yank, he pulled on her intestines, revealing her guts to the cold outside world. She let out a blood-curdling scream of pain, which was quickly silenced by way of his sword impaling her throat.

"Shut up." He growled. "You're givin' me a headache with all that bitching."

The dark elf intervened before he could turn back to her now-legless comrade, willing her remaining tentacles to slam into him. He dodged to the side, his speed suddenly increasing immensely. However, instead of striking at her tentacles, he sprinted into her, tackling her with impressive force.

The dark Elf Mage looked up fearfully at the huma- no, creature that was draped over her. As she got a closer look at him, she noticed how clouded his eyes were. It was as if he was acting completely on instinct, all higher thoughts having disappeared in a haze of violence. As he opened his mouth, she noticed for the first time that his teeth were really sharp. Unusually so for a human. Wait, why was he leaning forwa-

With the loud, wet sound of tearing flesh, he dug into her throat with his teeth. Immediately, her trachea was destroyed, sending great gouts of blood spewing all over the ground. Like a rabid dog, he shook his head wildly, further dismantling the few remnants of her neck that remained.

The Mage's vision began to grow hazy, dimming until it was nearly black. The last thing she saw before her mind faded was the tall form of Yuri sneaking up on the beast that killed her.

A/N: I didn't expect this chapter to be as long as it was. I'm not doing another stupidly long chapter, so I'm gonna have to break this up again.

So, the main point of this chapter was to demonstrate our character's strength with and without his bloodrage ability. Of course, as we all know, it has some nasty side-effects, and we'll be seeing the ramifications of this in the next chapter.

Also, it seems like Yuri missed the party. We'll see what she has to say about the situation in the next chapter.

Anyways, the consequences of this chapter will be felt for quite a while, you can be sure of that.

Also, I called the tentacle elf a mage since her title in the game is "Dark elf (M)". I assumed that meant she was a mage. Maybe I'm just a fuckin' idiot and it stands for something else. I don't know. I'll edit it if it's wrong.

*This chapter has multiple quotes from the 90's FPS known as "Blood". (If you haven't heard of it, you should totally try it. It's hard as fuck, but it feels so fun to play.)
