Harry Potters Love Life Falling Apart?

An inside source told us that Harry Potter, wizarding savior, who is due to marry Ginerva Weasley in just about two weeks, has been staying at the Three Broomsticks for about a week now.

He was spotted shortly after hurrying inside while we attempted to ask about the spreading rumors.

A separate source told us, one close to his fiancé, that Mr.Potter was caught by soon to be bride, in bed with another woman. Currently, Miss Weasley is still residing in their shared flat, and has declined to comment on the situation.

Thought, before denying a chance to interview her, it was easily noted that her eyes were red and puffy from what appeared to be days of crying.

Who is this mystery woman who managed to trick Harry Potter into her bed? Will there still be a wedding? Will Miss Weasley ever forgive Mr. Potter or will this be the end of everything as he knows it?

I, Rita Skeeter, promise to keep you up on all the details as they come.

Draco set the paper down on his desk, glancing at the two moving pictures plastered at the front just below the headline and story. First was a picture of the said couple, Harrys arm wrapped loosely around Ginny's waist keeping her close to his side. They both were waving and smiling outside of the ministry just days after the war had ended. The paper had used that same picture as a way to give readers hope for happiness after the war.

The second picture is the one he found much more interesting. Harry was hurrying to get by the photographer hand up trying to shield his face. He looked like shit. Dark bags under his eyes, clothing rumpled like he hadn't changed his clothes in several days.

Harry hadn't been in the office as far as he knew. Six days ago once Harry had left his flat he hadn't seen or heard from him. Part of that stung. He wasn't sure why, somewhere back in the small part of his romantic side of his brain, he had hoped, just maybe, Harry had considered choosing him.

It was unrealistic. They had a fling. Sure it was hot. Passionate. Made Draco feel more alive than he ever had. Unfortunately, the truth was, Harry didn't have feelings for Draco like that, and it was stupid for Draco to even hope he would.

Draco heard a knock on his office door and looked up. Whoever he was expecting to be there, was not the person who in fact graced him with his presence.

"Malfoy, I think it's time we talk." With out asking the youngest of the Weasley children pushed her way into his office shutting the door behind her. She clearly wasn't taking no for an answer.

"Weasley, uh sure. Come sit down." He gestures towards the arm chairs in front of his desk. He watched the red head move farther in and finally pick a chair and sit down crossing her legs. She watched Draco for some time in silence before finally speaking.

"You know, I always knew that no one could steal Harry away from me, except you. It's always been you. My competition. "Ginny played with the hem of her skirt. "Other girls, they never stood a chance. Harry is... well... complicated. Honestly, when things happened between him and I was a bit surprised. I wasn't sure he would ever see me as anything but Ron's little sister." She looked up again studying Draco's face.

Draco just sat quietly listening. He wasn't sure what she wanted. What she was even talking about. Steal Harry?

"After what he said in your flat, about needing to blow of some steam, I realized something. He doesn't see me as an equal, a partner, a lover. He's with me because he thinks he has to be. He did what he thought was right. That's Harry for you though. He never thinks about himself. It's always about doing for others, well until you. That, that he did for himself."

"Weasley, Harry loves you. He wants that life he always talks about with you. He made a mistake. And I'm to blame. I didn't stop the idea, we were both drunk and I was living out some sick fantasies from my youth." Draco said gently.

Ginny's head snapped up at him and she folded her hands together placing them the her mouth for a moment.

"I'm here because I want the truth. For everyone. And lying to me now won't help anyone. You think a few glasses of champagne made Harry suddenly gay for you, especially since he supposedly hated you. " Ginny chose her next words wisely. "Weren't you ever curious how you got off of trial so quickly? I knew he was making excuses when he testified for you. Saying it was the right thing to do, I was just so in love with him. I just over looked it. "

Draco felt his breath hitch. "Harry? Harry was the secret witness in my defense? I... I had no idea. The file is sealed and no one would tell me."

"Malfoy. Come on. You honestly aren't that dense. You are a smart bloke. You and Harry, are like moth and flame. Drawn together no matter the outcome. I listened to his testimony. I could see it then. He cared about you. Deeply. He always had this thing for you. We always told him he was obsessed. Though, I didn't think it was because he wanted to sleep with you, well not until the trial. I had a feeling at that moment, he knew he couldn't be with you but he wasn't going to stand by and watch you rot away in prison. Then he recommended you to the minister for the potions job. I over heard him on a fire call. Telling him, the only man to rival your potions ability was Snape. "

Draco sat for a few moments taking this all in. This whole time Harry bloody Potter had been sneaking around and interfering with his life.

"And if we're being totally honest with each other Malfoy, I think I knew... when he came home from the Gala that he had been with you. He smelled like you. I could recognize that scent anywhere. You wore the same expensive crap in school. There's something you have that I just can't give him."

"Weasley, there's a lot I can't give that man either. A family to just start the list. I'm an ex death eater. Harry hated the press and lime light. I would just drag him through the mud. Life with me isn't something he would want. His friends and family hate me, the whole damn wizarding world hates me." Draco rubbed his face. "Why are you telling me all this. This is all mute points. Harry is to marry you two weeks and carry out his promotion and life moments after. No where in those plans am included. I'm not the expectations the wizarding society expects for their hero."

"Malfoy you are not listening to me. Sure those all might be true, but since when does Harry follow the rules. He always does things in his own way and with his own flare. But all those things... the only thing you can give him that I can't... is love. He wants to be loved as hard as he loves. I love Harry, I would risk my life for him all over again. He loves you Malfoy. Has for years."

Ginny stood up and reached out to touch his hand, "for the record. I don't hate you. Not even now. You didn't do this to hurt me. You wanted to give Harry what he wanted, and it just happened it made you happy too. How can I hate the one person who makes him... well him. His true self. I'm on my way to call off the wedding now. Don't let him get away Malfoy... because at that point, I may begin to dislike you. Just answer me one question. All those late nights and early mornings... they were with you? No one else?"

Draco swallowed hard. "Yes. He was always with me. He's never looked or talked to anyone else." He looked at her. "I'm sorry i destroyed your marriage. I never... I never intended for all this. I didn't even know he was an option in my life until everything started happening. " Draco looked up at the beautiful young woman Ginny Weasley had become.

"Our marriage was doomed from the beginning. And if I'm being honest with myself I knew we weren't right for each other. I did what my mother expected of me and he did just the same. We took the easy route in life. Instead of both of us finding our own ways. Enjoy the rest of your day Malfoy. Maybe I'll see you at the next family dinner, yeah?" She winked and moved out of his office just in time for Kingsley to pop in.

"Draco, we have a huge order coming in for a few private clients. Think you can take care of them personally? I assured them I would put our best man on it. "

Draco stood pushing himself from the desk nodding at his boss. "Of course sir. Can I ask you something before you leave?"

Kingsley stood against the door frame watching the blonde. He nodded, "sure. What seems to be the problem. "

"No problem. I just, is it true you only considered my application here because Harry Potter recommended me?"

Kingsley considered how to answer the question carefully. The blonde looked upset and he wasn't sure who had told him that information. "Draco, in all fairness , I had a lot of applicants some older than you..."

"Right, but as the son of a notorious death eater and a marked individual myself I can't see myself being at the top on the ministry list of most desired candidates."

Kingsley sighed heavily. "you would be correct. Mr. Potter approached me when he had heard you had applied. Aurors do all the back ground checks on applications. He told me I would be risking lives if I didn't hire you. He assured me that you were the best and if we were going to keep people healthy and safe, I needed you to head my department. " Kingsley saw the defeated look in his face. He brushed his robes off as he moved from the door way to head back to the hallway. "But I will say this. While I was hesitant in my choice, if I had to make it again I would. You exceeded any and all expectations I ever had. Your work is clean and effective. We have more clients than we ever had thanks to your skills. Harry Potter may have opened the door for you Draco but you put the hard work in and made a name for yourself. You should be proud of your accomplishments." With that he was gone. Leaving him to wallow in all of these new feelings.
