The Shattered Clown
Eye me cautiously that you do,
Ponder my behaviors with deep thoughts,
Aware of my annoyance that you not,
Slowly with fire you melt my heart.
What could possibility possess you so,
To search my eyes for the truths untold?
Unravels my secrets layer by layer,
Smiling at me warmly with no fear.
Who do you think you are; expose me of my lies?
Have you no shame; my life you pried?
I scream, I cried, and bottled my anger all inside.
I hissed, I snarled, and pushed you aside.
Yet return you did, determined as ever,
To shatter my defense; give up? Never!
Little by little, my mask crumbles,
Little by little, comes condition stable.
For what I deserve to have you as a friend?
You, my angel, are truly Godsend.
