NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM
AN: This is a cute lil poem I wrote a couple of years ago. I found it lying around & thought I'd post it! Review if want :-)
In a crowded room, yet alone.
If I can't get back one day,
Will they notice I am gone?
Though I always try to succeed, I fail.
I have not intelligence enough
To pass the test or trial.
My classmates tease and laugh at me;
I'm a fool.
They find my misfortune amusing,
But their jokes are harsh and cruel.
What if they lost their family?
Forever?
When I visit my parents
I'm just another stranger.
To have fame or luck or sense
Or wit would be fun -
Then I would have friends a-plenty
Yet I remain the lonely one.
I'll continue working, smiling, and then,
Maybe not through magical means,
One day I'll be better than them.
