Four days remain until the tournament...

When Julia arrived in Goldenrod City she initially had five days remaining to train but her excitement about being in a new location and the prospect of shopping in the department store ate up an entire day of her time.

At the moment she was currently heading to the Ilex Forest, around this time of the year many diverse and powerful Bug type pokemon migrate there. There might even he a chance that Julia could catch a glimpse of the mythical pokemon said to rest in the shrine of the forest.

She thought about asking for permission to enter the Dragon's Den and she could probably get in without too much of a hassle, but the amount of time she would have to wait for permission would probably end up making the trip there more trouble than what it was worth.

There was also Mt. Mortar which had many strong trainers inside of it. However most of the deeper caves there were blocked off. Ever since the Johto League had been moved to that mountain peak several years ago. The winding caves inside made it very easy for inexperienced trainers to get lost, leaving the path from Ecruteak City to Mahogany Town open. This pokemon in that path weren't nearly as strong as Julia would have liked. The only other location was the Dark Cave but nobody cared for it or liked it very much.

This left the Ilex Forest as the only reasonable location left. As Julia entered the forest she was quickly able to take in the fresh, clean air. Even though there was a rather decent number of trainers there hunting for Bugs.

Since she had only five pokemon on her current team, catching a strong Bug wouldn't hurt. The moment that thought sparked in her mind, a large blue figure whizzed past her. The figure looked rather beefy.

Julia followed the figure deeper into the forest, noticing a large horn atop the head of the Bug. Once the figure noticed Julia was following it, it turned to fight.

'Seems he doesn't want to run anymore.' Julia's Gardevoir said telepathically.

"Well that's good because I needed the training. Froslass, let's go!" Julia proclaimed, sending out her Ghost type pokemon.

"Froslass, use Shadow Ball!" Julia commanded, scanning the wild pokemon with her pokedex.

'Heracross, the Single Horn pokemon: It's proud of its thick horn. In Alola, its biggest rival is Vikavolt, which it's always fighting with.'

The Shadow Ball struck the Heracross, who didn't even flinch at the attack. It tried retaliating with what would have been an extremely powerful Close Combat if Froslass wasn't immune to Fighting type attacks.

"Now, Ice Beam!"

Heracross was blasted away from Froslass with an icy blast. This attack seemed to do a bit more damage than the one before, but Heracross still stood strong. The Single Horn pokemon sped forwards Froslass with its left arm glowing a dark purple color.

The Snow Land pokemon tried to avoid the attack but she was completely overwhelmed by H eracross who smacked it away with an intense Throat Chop.

"Woah, its way too fast!" Julia said in shock. "Wait! Maybe I can... Froslass, use Thunder Wave!"

Heracross tried going for another Throat Chop but flew right into the jolt of electricity Froslass sent out, paralyzing it and slowing it down more than enough for Froslass to avoid the strike.

"Now follow up with an Ice Beam!"

Froslass held her hands out in front of her and blasted Heracross with a charged Ice Beam attack. The Single Horn pokemon was stunned after the attack and was down to one knee.

"Now's my chance, I could use a pokemon that strong!" Julia said, tossing a pokeball at the weakened pokemon.

Her heart raced as she watched the pokeball shake. Her face turned red as she held her breath but returned to its normal light tone when the pokeball clicked and stopped shaking.

"EEEEK! I got it!" Julia squealed. Her joy quickly dissipated when she looked around and realized nobody was around her. She was completely alone and surrounded by trees. There was only one thing that stuck out though: a small shrine with a gold and silver ball firmly planted in the center of it.

When Julia looked at the shrine, she found herself slowly approaching it as if it was calling out to her. Once she was close enough, Julia sat in front of the shrine and reached her hand out to it..

A small green hand pulled Julia into a light green portal. For a moment Julia didn't even know what was happening. She looked up and saw what was pulling her arm.

It was a small, green pokemon with a head that Julia honestly thought looked like some kind of onion. The pokemon's head itself had two antennae peeking oit from the top.

As the two traversed through the portal, Julia tried calling out to the pokemon, though in the instant it brought her into the portal, it let her go...

Julia was returned to the Ilex Forest but something felt... off to her.

"You've kept up this chase for a decade, why won't you just die?!"

This voice sounded familiar somehow but Julia just couldn't figure out how.

"I don't plan to!"

Another voice she recognized, but... Why couldn't she tell exactly who they were?

Two men dashed into the clearing, the first wore a red metallic suit and helmet. He had white hair that went down below his shoulders, flowing out of his helmet. The suit had insectoid wings coming out if the back making the man look like a human Scizor. He was holding a pair of Sai in his hands, the weapons seemed to be electrified by some power in his hands.

The second man wore navy blue synthetic armor suit with a metallic visor covering his eyes and parts of his head. His hair was black and in a style that resembled Jack's. He held a katana in his hands that looked to be self-made but incredibly sharp.

The man in red noticed Julia and grinned devilishly befote speeding towards her.

"Not so fast! Gallade, stop him!" The blue man responded, he threw out a pokeball but Julia didn't see the pokemon being sent out.

Suddenly, Julia was in the arms of the Gallade, which somehow reached her from where the man was, which was about six or so meters away at least. The Gallade looked at Julia, its eyes going wide for a moment as if it apparently knew who she was.

'W-What?! It... can't be!' Gardevoir said in shock.

The Gallade then looked over at its trainer, sending him a telepathic message.

"What?!" The man said in shock, he had the red man pinned down and with his sword up against his neck. The moment he looked away from the red man, the latter took the chance he had and kicked the navy armored man away from him.

"Bad move, Jack!" The red man taunted as he flew away usong the wings on his suit to escape.

"Jack?!" Julia said in shock.

"Damn! He got away again!" The man said, before turning his attention to Julia. He approached her and dropped down to one knee to get a better look at her. Julia wished she could see for sure if it was Jack but his visor blocked his eyes.

"Julia... Is it really you?" He asked. The man's visor retracted away from his eyes and went around his temples. Upon seeing his face Julia's suspicions had been confirmed.

"Jack...it is you... What's happening?!" Jack sighed as he got up to his feet, he looked like he witnessed a miracle and saw an unspeakable horror at the same time.

"Alright..." Jack said softly, he hesitated as if he wasn't sure of what to do about this situation. "It's best if I bring you back to my base so I can explain. The police will probably be here soon and we don't need problems from them right now."

Jack took out a remote and pressed a button on it, in the span of several seconds, a Genesect shaped aircraft sped towards the clearing. It was large enough to hold at least three people. Jack recalled Gallade back into its pokeball and offered Julia a hand inside. She got into one of the seats as Jack controlled the aircraft towards Mt. Silver, landing it in a small cave towards the side of the mountain facing the Johto region.

All the while, Julia's head was being wracked with questions: how did Jack get so much older? Who was that man he was fighting? Why did that strange pokemon grab her? So many questions but no answers...

Jack's base was surprisingly high tech for being within a mountain. There was a large monitor and keyboard, on one if the walls were several pictures of the main group during their travels and their time at the Vermilion Academy.

In a way, the base reminded Julia of the secret base of a comic book character she used to read about called 'ZubatMan'.

Jack took a seat by the monitor and got a drink for himself. Julia was a bit surprised to see Jack co pletelt down the drink she noticed was alcoholic...

"Alright..." Jack began, finishing his drink. "I know I said I'd explain as much as I could but honestly right now I'm as lost as you are. What were you doing in that clearing? How'd you get there?! Where have you been?! How...how have you not aged?"

Julia thought for a moment before answering.

"I... don't know how I got there... I was training in the Ilex Forest for the Pokemon League Tournament, then I caught a wild Heracross. After that I felt...something pulling me to the shrine there. Then when I got close this strange pokemon dragged me into a portal and then you and that other man found me. But...what do you mean 'how have I not aged'?" Julia answered honestly, Jack could tell she was becoming more and more afraid with each passing moment and he couldn't blame her.

"The League Tournament..." Jack responded. "Yeah, I remember now. You said you were going to train there but..."

"But, what?"

"You disappeared... Your sister and I went to go search for you. We even convinced as many people as possible to help look. Friends, family, anyone who was willing to help looked for you. Of course, not every one of us was willing to let go of the opportunity to become Champion of Kanto." Jack explained.

"H-how long have I been missing?" Julia asked, she almost didn't want to hear the answer, being able to see how different Jack was since the last time she saw him, which for her was about a day...

Jack himself looked as if he had just been slapped in the face by a Hariyama. He buried his hands in his face as he sighed deeply.

"You've been gone for a little over ten years..."

Those words made Julia's blood run cold. Somehow, she had been transported ten years into the future, but to everyone she held dear to her heart she went missing for ten years. That's when another disturbing idea made its way into her head

"What happened to the others? To Diego, to my mom, to my sister?! And what happened to you...?" Julia asked, she looked as if she was ready to burst I'm to tears in any moment.

"After about a month or so most of the search party gave up on their search, last I heard they went to follow their dreams. Diego ended up staying in the tournament. He eventually won and became the Champion, he wanted to help right after but he became too busy to leave the Indigo Plateau."

Jack stopped himself, before mentioning Julia's family. He knew he had to tell her, but before he continued he had to look away as he couldn't bear to look Julia in the eye...

"Reneé and I never stopped looking for you after everyone else gave up. For the next year, the two of us searched Kanto and Johto for you. Even going as far as Sinjoh Ruins just to be sure... But after that year ended, we both lost every lead we had... We gave up... Eventually Reneé just shut herself from the world in your old home in Silver Village, she won't speak to anyone. As for your mother...she unfortunately passed away shortly after your sister and I gave up on our search. When she found out you were missing her heart broke...

Upon hearing this revelation, Julia fell to her knees and broke down in tears. Her friends, her family, they tried so desperately to find her, but there was no way they would he able to. She didn't even deliberately try to cause all of this heartbreak, that pokemon brought her to this time period. For what reason though?

Jack tried to console Julia, but after over a decade of not seeing this girl, he didn't really know what to say. All he could do was place a hand on her shoulder. Julia pulled Jack into a hug, tje man was taken aback but gently patted her shoulder.

Julia sobs eventually stopped, Jack let go of her and went back to his monitor, typing something...

An icon appeared on screen, resembling an animated girl's face.

"Jack, you there?" A woman asked, she sounded like she was in her late teens.

"Yeah, I'm here. They got away again, Sunny do you have any info on where they might strile next?" Jack replied.

"Again?"

"Well I got a little sidetracked helping a friend in need."

Julia smiled a little, even after so many years, Jack still saw Julia as a friend.

"Well when going over every location, they seem to be planning something involving high-frequency radio waves. If thisbis the case then they'll most likely be planning a on the Goldenrod Radio Tower." Sunny explained.

"But what about their raid on the Pokeball Factory in Kalos last month."

"That's something even I haven't figured out yet. I'll let you know when they pull something."

"Who's she? Who's they?" Julia asked.

"That's Sunny, she helps me gather any intel about when and where any problem tales place. As for them, its Team Dark Star. I've been hunting them for ten years, stopping their plans for as long as possible. Truth be told, even if you hadn't disappeared I'd still be after them. After what happened that day at their base with those monsters they used to battle, I've been tracking them down, making sure they never caused any serious destruction." Jack explained.

"So that guy you were fighting..."

"That was Typhoon, about a year ago Team Dark Star began to use cybernetic armor enhancements based on specific pokemon. Typhoon's armor is based on Scizor but all of the admins have an armor enhancement."

"But what about the rest of your Pokemon? Fearow could have been able to keep up with him in the air, right?"

"Maybe it would have, but... Team Dark Star isn't satisfied with just trying trying to psychologically scar me anymore. They're willing to outright kill me, and they've gotten dangerously close a few times. The only reason I'm still still alive today is because most of my pokemon sacrificed themselves for me. If you don't believe me, just take a look behind you." Jack said.

Julia looked and saw various photos of Jack and the pokemon he used throughout his time in Kanto. As she looked over the photos, she noticed that they became more and more spread apart in terms of the time they were taken, and how there was less pokemon in each passing photo. The most recent photo taken was just Jack and Gallade, scars all over both of them...

Julia was about to say something, but Sunny spoke again. She sounded much more panicked.

"We've got trouble! They just broke into the Radio Tower and are storming up to the director's office!"

"That's my cue! Let's fly, Sunny!"

"Wait, I'm coming too!" Julia said, her voice full of determination but also showing a hint of fear. Jack didn't want her coming with him but he had no time to argue with her.

"Ugh, alright then, come on."

The two hopped into a sleek jet that was ready to fly. As the strapped themselves in, Sunny's icon appeared on the side of the windshield.

"You'll be travelling at Mach Six speeds so I'll have to strap in our guest accordingly."

Julia's seat suddenly engulfed her in a cocoon of seatbelts and straps that covered most of jer body, leaving her with just her face poking out.

The engine blasted on as the jet prepared to take off. Even Jack looked a bit nervous as he put his visor down over his eyes just in case.

The jet took off in a blaze, Julia now looked thankful for being so tightly strapped and was amazed at how Jack looked very nearly unaffected by the speed. Julia then felt something latch onto her back as the floor of the jet and the seat were suddenly retracted, leaving her free falling.

Julia was about to scream in panic, but the object that was on her back opened, revealing itself to be a parachute. She gently floated down onto the roof of the building close to the Radio Tower, Jack ran down the side of the Department Store and used his cybernetic suit as an enhancement to his physical skills and leaped onto the roof Julia was on. He looked over at the pokemon center, his visor flashing blue for a moment.

"Damn, they've taken the center hostage! I can't let you stay there... Looks like we have no choice, you'll be staying with me. But stay behind cover amd keep a strong pokemon nearby. You still have your Froslass, right?" Jack asked, to which Julia nodded. "Good, since it's a Ghost it'll be immune to the bullets and melee weapons they'll use. Plus it'll defend against any pokemon they might still use."

Julia was rather shockes at how calmly Jack stated that. Pokemon had been used as weapons in some cases but Team Dark Star was now willing to resort to true terrorism in order to accomplish their goals.

Jack sent out his Gallade, the only pokemon he still had alive, and carried Julia piggy-back style. The three leaped into one of the broken windows, Julia got off of Jack and sent out her Froslass to defend herself.

A small group of Team Dark Star grunts surrounded them.

"Gallade, take them out!" Jack ordered, unsheathing his katana. Julia prepared herself for a fight. The last thing she could compregend seeing was Jack and his Gallade charging at the grunts. She didn't exactly see what happened, but whatever occured resulted in half of the grunts unconscious with their own cyber armor sliced off and the other half was trapped with Gallade's Psycho Cut attack, used an a way that resembled small, purplish-pink knives. Tuese knives were deeply wedged into the wall.

"What... Just happened?" Julia asked.

"Don't worry about it. We need to keep moving."

The two went through two more floors of grunts trying to stop them, but Jack and Gallade managed to dispose of them without much difficulty. However when they went up to the floor directly below that of the Director.

Several TDS grunts charged for Julia at a speed she had no way of reacting to. Jack was forced to intervene when even he was caught slightly off guard at the fact that he was not the primary target.

"Gallade! Stop time!"

The horns on Gallade's chest and back began to glow in a navy blue and white energy before the energy exploded outwards, corrupting time itself to make it stop completely. The second after Gallade did this, he placed a hand on Jack's arm, its horns glowing again, this tine allowing Jack to move in the stopped time. The two attacked the grunts while they were defenseless in the frozen time, however they could not get rid of them all as stopping time took a heavy toll on Gallade's energy.

The Pokemon collapsed to his knees as time resumed again.

"Gallade!" Jack called out in worry, most of the grunts were taken down but ine was still able to hit Jack. This hit wasn't nearly enough to take Jack out but it did knock a device off if his belt. As Jack fought the grunt, Julia picked up the device and recognized it as Jack's old PokeNav.

In a moment of hope and curiosity, Julia got an idea. She wasn't sure if it would even work but she had to do something to help Jack.

She sent out a message from Jack's PokeNav to herself...and to Diego and her sister. Julia's hope skyrocketed when she received the message and looked over it to be sure.

'in goldenrod city radio tower'

'need help'

'please hurry'

It wasn't much but it was all she could do to help.

In an office situated in the Indigo Plateau sat Diego, the current Champion of Kanto. He had grown a beard and was much more muscular than he was in his youth. He had finally reached the level of success he always dreamed of, but he was alone. He wore a neat yellow dress shirt and brown dress pants with black loafers. The depressed look on his face made him appear as a lowly salaryman.

He heard a soft beeping sound from one of the drawers of the desk and found the source of the beeping: his old PokeNav. He never used it, as he had a newer model that he used for his work, but somehow it was still charged.

He looked over the message and raised his eyebrows in surprise.

The twins' old home in Silver Village now looked like a shell of its former self. The windows were boarded up, the paint chipped and greying. On the inside the wallpaper was peeling and it was a wonder how Renée survived as long as she did.

But there she sat, at the kitchen table eating a rather depressing meal of berries and water. There were two other plates laid out, as if Renée was eating with her family.

"Do you think Aunt Cynthia will visit again, mom?"

...

"I hope so too, maybe we can all have lunch together!"

Renée was snapped back to reality with the beeping of the PokeNav. As she read the message, her demeanor changed to a more serious tone.

Back at the Radio Tower, Jack and Julia had finally reached the roof. A large antenna towered over them, and four people standing at the base of the antenna: Singularity and his wife as well as Typhoon and Meridia.

Typhoon still had his red armor on, Meridia had rose-gold colored armor with wings that resembled a Beautifly and Andromeda wore a dress that resembled a Celesteela. Curiously though, Singularity wasn't wearing any type of armor, just a large trench coat.

Julia then noticed something, none of the TDS members wore the mask she always saw them wearing in her time. Instead they were all either wearing similar visors as Jack had or just nothing to cover their face at all.

"Y'know Jack, even after all these years I'm still surprised you bother to try stopping us." Singularity sighed.

"Well I can't just let you turn this world into hell, now can I?"

"Tch, deal with him."

The three TDS members in armor charged at Jack, who raised his weapon to survive as long as he could. Gallade readied himself as well, while they were ready and willing to fight, the two looked as though they knew that they would not be able to survive. Against just one of them, the two might be able to beat them, but there was no way they could win when outnumbered.

"So you're dying today and you brought some kid with you to die too, so much for playing the hero." Typhoon taunted.

"You really think I'd let that happen?"

The powerlines down in the city cent out a lightning bolt up to the radio antenna, charging it up for a brief moment before sending out another lightning bolt right at Typhoon. From the wake of the lightning bolt stood Diego with his Raichu.

"What?!" Typhoon said in shock.

"So he called in backup? What happened to all that bravado you had for the past few years?" Meridia added.

"Hey, Jack, long time no see. These guys giving you trouble?" Diego asked.

"Just a little bit." Jack replied, his spirit lifted a bit when he saw his old friend, but he was mostly confused.

"Don't you dare ignore me!" Meridian screamed, she and Andromeda rocketed towards the duo, the latter moving extraordinarily fast due to having rocket boosters within her armor.

She would have made contact with the two men, but an Arcanine slammed into her using its Extreme Speed. The attack caused Andromeda to veer off course and slam into Meridia. The two were sent off into the woodland area between Ecruteak City and Olivine City, generating an explosion.

"Am I too late?" Renée asked, she arrived by riding on her Arcanine.

"Nah, I'd say you're right on time." Diego replied.

The sound of screaming caught everyone's attention, Typhoon's armor had been short circuiting and shocking him, leaving him stunned and trapped in the spot Diego zapped him in.

"Boss! Boss, help me! Please!" He screamed, gathering as much energy as he could to reach out to his employer.

"Well... Unfortunately it seems that my plan here is a bust." Singularity sighed. "I was hoping to alter the radio waves in a way that would cause all pokeballs within the vicinity of the Kanto and Johto regions to explode. But with what just happened it looks like that plan just went to hell."

"So you're going to give up?" Renée asked. Singularity simply laughed maniacally.

"Dear, you must not be very bright." Singularity opened his coat, revealing an assortment of syringes containing grey and brown liquid. "No, you've essentially incapacitated my entire group and killed my wife and highest ranking member. I now have nothing... But I refuse to go down without a fight! You've left me with no other option than to force me to fight until my last breath!"

The villain grabbed the syringes and injected himself with the liquids. His body began to pump up and swell with muscles at an insane pace, his height doubled and his skin looked more like stone.

"Simple pokemon are easy for you to defeat, but what about a man with the DNA of Machamp and Rhyperior at his disposal?! I can easily break your bodies. I will destroy everything or you will destroy me, there is no in between!"

Singularity charged at Jack at almost the same speed as his wife when she charged at them. He proceeded to grab Jack and lift him up by his neck.

"And I'll start with the biggest thorn in my side!"

The man launched Jack towards Olivine City with his newfound power, then leaping towards him to finish him.

"Jack!" The three screamed, Typhoon had given in to his injuries and passed out. Diego used his Raichu to turn into electricity again and send himself to Olivine City as a wave of electricity. Renée jumped onto her Arcanine, Julia barely had any time before Renée called for her pokemon to use Extreme Speed again. Gallade used its psychic power to enhance its leg strength and speed in order to run as fast as he could to the port city.

Jack was still flying over Olivine City when Singularity caught him in midair and prepared to slam him into the ground. Seconds before the two would have hit the ground, Diego and his Raichu managed to zip by and grab him, saving his life. Renée's Arcanine stomped Singularity into the ground before getting to the men's side. Julia slipped off of Arcanine, a bit shaken up but otherwise unharmed.

"You all just don't know when to die, do you?!"

Gallade was last to appear, leaping at Singularity and slashing his back, causing the man minimal damage but disorientating for a moment.

"Oh you just love to disappoint me..." Singularity growled, looking over at his enemies before seeing Julia. "I'm going to tear you all apart, starting with you!"

The TDS boss charged for Julia before Jack stepped in and parried the attack.

"I thought I was your target?" Jack asked. "You two, make sure he doesn't get anywhere near Julia!"

Jack lured Singularity away from the city, constantly keeping his eyes on his opponent. At the mention of Julia, Diego and Renée looked and saw Julia still standing by Arcanine. Renée began to cry as she ran to embrace her twin sister. She and Diego listened intently as she explained everything that happened to her up until that moment.

Singularity punched the ground in order to trap Jack in the crater that the punch formed.

"Damn it!" Jack cursed, left with no other option but to fight. He swung the sword but Singularity caught it with just one hand.

"Nice knife." He said, tossing the sword away, causing it to become lodged within the crater. Jack then attacked Singularity with a barrage of punches, which apprared to do little to no damage. Once Jack stopped, Singularity simply dusted off any dirt Jack put on him with his attack before going to punch him.

Jack caught the punch and locked Singularity's arm using his own arm and proceeded to continue punching the man around his kidney, actually managing to cause a bit of damage. Singularity stumbled back, allowing Jack to get in a wicked punch to the jaw.

Singularity retaliated with a heavy punch to Jack's chest, blowing Jack away several feet and knocking him down to the ground. He was about to break his chest with a hard elbow when Gallade arrived and knocked Singularity away with a a quick Psycho Cut.

As Singularity got up, Gallade began to take Jack's place in the fight, allowing his trainer to go and retreive his sword.

Gallade fared about as well as Jack did, dishing out very low damage but at least being able to cause any damage at all. Once Jack had his sword, the two ran around Singularity in an attenpt to disorientate him, swinging at him a few times.

After Julia had finished explaining her situation, they headed over to the fight. Singularity had just grabbed Jack, torn open his visor and threw him skyward. Renée's Arcanine caught him and brought him over to them.

"Jack, are you alright?!" Renée asked.

"His raw power, its unreal!" Jack replied.

"Is there anything we can do to help?" Julia pleaded.

"From what I've felt, his weight has increased exponentially, he can jump incredibly far as well. But, he can't control where he lands once he's in the air."

"So if we can knock him in the air, we might be able to get some damage on him?" Diego wondered.

"Exactly, and he also told us he injected himself with Rhyperior DNA, so if we can knock him into the water we might finally get rid of him." Jack responded.

'i can't hold out much longer!' Gallade told Jack.

"We don't have time to waste! I'll have Gallade stop time for just long enough for us to unleash everything we have to try and launch him into the water close to the Whirl Islands." Jack stated.

"Right!" The others responded, their confidence growing a bit now that they had a plan.

"Gallade, stop time!"

Gallade's chest horn began to glow as it sent out a wave of energy that distorted everything around it until everything was frozen in time except for the heroes.

"Now let's hit him hard!" Diego boomed. "Golduck, use Psychic!"

"Arcanine, use Dragon Pulse!"

"Heracross, use Close Combat!"

The four pokemon attacked Singularity as hard as they could at an angle that would send him upward and backwards before hitting him with a heavy spike to send him into the water for sure.

'I can't keep this up anymore!' Gallade said.

"Alright everyone, that should be enough." Jack said. Everyone stopped attacking and stepped back. "And time resumes."

Everything began to move again, especially Singularity, who's body crunched when all of the attacks affected him. He was launched diagonally backwards into the air, screaming in confusion and anger.

"WHAAAAAAAAAT?!"

The spike attack finally affected him, causing him to crash into the water. He felt his body burn, the DNA of the Ground type he now had inside of him had just sealed his fate. He sank to the bottom, unable to swim upwards due to his mass and now rapidly decreasing strength, using the time he had left cursing the people who just beat him...

"It's over..." Jack sighed, sitting on the ground. He then gasped as he saw his Gallade beginning to slowly fade away.

"Gallade!" He called out.

"It ain't just him..." Diego said, as he also began to fade away. Even all of the buildings began to fade away...

"W-what's happening?!" Julia asked in fear.

"It's time for you to go back to your own time." A voice said. A green light floated down to Julia and revealed itself to be the Mythical pokemon; Celebi.

"Back to my own time?"

"Thats right, I brought you here to send you a message." Celebi said. "While it also had the effect of taking you out of the timeline for ten years, I wanted to show you how much of a threat this 'Team Dark Star' is."

"But you removed her from the timeline!" Renée shouted.

"Yes...and I'm sorry for causing you this pain, but I am going to send you back. Doing so will cause this alternate time to be erased though." Celebi explained.

"So you'll send her back to the exact time and day you originally took her?" Jack asked.

"That is correct."

"But you're going to be erased!" Julia responded.

"It's alright." Jack said. "That just means that everything bad that I told you about, everything that happened today, won't happen in your future."

"It means Mom will still be alive, and since you never vanished she and I won't live the way we did." Renée added, she handed Julia a Moon Stone and gave her one last hug.

"Hmph, I wonder if Jack will ever admit he thinks you're cute in your timeline." Diego joked. Jack shot him a look for a moment before laughing with him. Both stopped laughing and turned to Julia, who was now blushing madly.

"Anyway, you better go, make sure your future is better than this one." Jack said, Julia smiled as she waved everyone goodbye and left with Celebi to the present.

Julia was flashed back to her own time, she knew for sure that she was back when she heard trainers trying to catch some of the migrating bugs.

Julia looked at the Moon Stone that Future Renée gave her and smiled.

A very attractive woman saw Julia and walked towards her. She was tall and had dark skin, her hair was pink and went down to her lower back. Her hair color matched her outfit, which consisted of a black jacket and black pants with pink lines at various parts.

"Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to be Julia, would you?" She asked.

"Y-yes I am, who are you?" Julia replied.

"Oh, where are my manners? My name is Lorraine Mistrial, I'm a personal friend of your mother and aunt, they asked me to give you this.

Lorraine handed Julia a letter, which she began to read silently.

'Hi sweetie! You probably wanted to train by yourself but your Aunt Cynthia heard about you training for the tournament and called for one of our friends to help you train. She might not look it, but our friend is actually one of the best trainers in the world. See you soon, love mom.'

Seeing her mother's note made Julia smile and want to cry, but she suppressed her urge to cry and smiled at Lorraine.

"Your mother and Aunt are some of the nicest women I've ever met and Cynthia is one of my toughest rivals. Battling with her niece should be interesting. Come at me with everything you've got my dear!"

The two of them got their pokeball ready to battle. Julia silently vowed to herself that she had to become stronger to make sure the people closest to her would never have to go through the things their cuture counterparts went through. She also had to make sure Team Dark Star had to be stopped, if their plans in the future were that bad even with Future Jack stopping then whenever possible, what could they be planning now?
