A/N: a kind of short one-shot I have wanted to write, post 6x18, this isn't the original dialog, I changed it a bit for my own use. drop in a review when you finish, please!
She hated this.
You don't belong here
Fuck it.
This isn't you
She doesn't care, she doesn't give a damn, doesn't he understand! She likes it the way it is.
Logan.
He's nice to her, he says he loves her. What could be wrong with that?
He sleeps with other girls
A tear fell, then another.
Logan walked into the room; he asked if she was crying.
Of course not, she assured him, forcing a smile, she had something in her eye.
Logan nodded.
He knew her. He would never nod casually, as if nothing is going on, when she looked like this.
Logan walked over and kissed her on the cheek, smiling.
Fuck him.
This isn't you
His voice kept repeating in her head.
More tears.
Logan didn't notice, he was on about the night out with the guys, Colin, he explained, sat down next to a blonde chick (oh, how she hated that word, chick, but she was used to it now, how could a girl be referred to as a type of bird!) and started hitting on her, apparently when she turned to him, he recognized her… he just went on and on, that Logan, didn't he see that she was crying.
She was sobbing now.
Hard.
You don't belong here. A voice kept reminding her.
She wrapped the Egyptian cotton around her and fell back on the pillow, Logan was using the bathroom, she allowed herself to cry freely, whimpering loudly every time she heard that voice.
This isn't you…
This isn't you…
Logan came back out. He wanted to know what's wrong.
She dismissed him, knowing he would never understand.
She was going to burst.
He sat down beside her and stroked he back.
She shivered, his touch was no longer warm.
He slipped his hand under her shirt, running his fingers on her bare back.
Was he making a move on her while she was crying.
She told him to stop.
He said he was just having fun.
Fun? Fun? She was crying for god's sake. She wanted to scream, but she didn't.
She got up from the bed, getting away from him.
He followed.
You don't belong here.
This isn't you.
Then who the fuck is me?
I want my mommy. She said out loud.
She could tell Logan was trying very hard not to laugh.
Now, she was mad.
She went to her phone, dialing the number she learned by heart from that little piece of paper she discovered in her room after he left.
"Hello?"
"Hi"
"Rory" he said it, as if sighing in relief.
"Yeah, I changed my mind"
"Good" he said, she could hear him smiling through the phone.
She couldn't help but smile herself.
For the first time in months.
