It was a Friday morning, a day Caleb always looked forward to. While his wife was at work, he'd usually have the day off from the Emperor's Coven. Usually on his day-offs he'd be bored fast since he didn't have anything to do. But today was an exception.

He heard some crying and smiled instantly. "I got her." Caleb assured his wife.

"I know." Willow smiled as she laid in bed.

Once Caleb got out of bed, he quickly put on a robe and strolled to a bedroom with the letter K stuck to the door. When he walked in, he saw the one thing he was most excited to be doing today. In that crib was none other than his five month old daughter, Kaitlyn Park. She had very light skin, green eyes just like her mother, a bit of blonde hair just like her dad and a small pointy nose.

"Good morning to you too." Caleb said, picking her up and patting her on the back, but she kept crying. "What's the matter? Had a bad dream? Or did you have an accident?" He sniffed her to make sure she didn't have an accident but luckily, she didn't. "It's okay Kaitlyn, I get bad dream sometimes." She continued crying and Caleb just gently shushed her and patted her on the back, gently. "There, there." Caleb's gentle soothing made Kaitlyn calm down. "There we go."

He then heard a small sound which coming from the door. He saw his wife, Willow, smiling and folding her arms at him. "I love seeing you be such a dad."

"I know." Caleb smiled as he approached his wife and kissed her on the lips. "Plus, I like making you happy."

"Awww." Willow cooed. She rubbed her daughter's hair, which was her way of saying good morning.

"You should get ready." Caleb suggested. "I'll make us some breakfast."

"You're not even going to change?" Willow asked.

"My day off." Caleb replied. "I get to spend all day with her." He then kiss his daughter's head, whom was moving about.

Later, Caleb was making some griffin eggs on toast for his wife and for himself. He was whistling as he flipped the eggs in the pan while using his magic to pour himself some tea for him and Willow. Plus, some milk for his daughter whom was on her high chair, already anticipating her food.

Caleb looked behind and smiled at his daughter. Ever since the day she was born, Caleb had never fallen in love with anything as quickly as Kaitlyn. A perfect blend of him and his wife, yet her own different person entirely. Some say he gets a little obsessed with his daughter, but Willow gives it leeway since he did live his life without any love to be given.

"I can't wait to spend all day with you." Caleb said to his daughter. She made a little cooing noise that made Caleb chuckle. "I know I say it all the time. But it's true." Kaitlyn made another cooing noise. "I love ya too."

"Are you pretending that your daughter is talking again?"

The sudden voice of Darius made Caleb flinch and drop the spatula to the floor. Luckily, he managed to catch it before it could hit it. He turned to the window and saw that it was a crow phone.

"Darius. What is it?" Caleb asked. "It's my day off."

"It's mine as well but Emperor King wants in today."

Caleb was surprised by that shocking statement that he almost dropped the frying pan. "What for?"

"According to sources, some Belos supporters have been spotted around town. Causing havoc saying they prefer the old ways."

Caleb sighed with annoyance. "Do they keep forgetting the Day of Unity and what it almost did to them?"

"I have no idea. Right now, Emperor King wants us at the palace. Can you be there?"

Caleb didn't like to refuse orders but he also didn't want to leave his daughter. How would Willow react? "Alright, I'll be there."

"Alright. Be there." The crow phone flew away while Hunter turned around to see his wife standing there.

"So I suppose your work schedule got in the way?" Willow asked.

Caleb sighed. "Yeah. I was looking forward to spend time with her."

"I know you were." Willow said. "But, maybe this could be a good opportunity for her to get to know some of her other relatives."

Caleb raised an eyebrow. "Meaning….."

"Why don't you send them to my dads?" Willow suggested. "They don't spend a lot of time with their granddaughter so, this could be some kind of opportunity for them."

"But I really wanted to spend time with her." Caleb admitted.

"I know." Willow kissed her husband on the cheek. "If you want, you can drop her off." She whistled for Clover, her Palisman, who flew to her side and transformed into staff form. She opened the door to their home and smiled at her husband and daughter. "I love you both." She got on Clover and flew off on her.

Caleb sighed sadly as he stared at his daughter. He rubbed her hair, causing her to coo very loudly. He smiled at this beautiful creation he and Willow made together. How could he leave her?

His Palisman, Flapjack flew to his shoulder and started tweeting in his ear. "You think I'm gonna break my promise to her?" Flapjack tweeted. "I'll protect her! I am her dad after all." Flapjack tweeted as he shook his head. "Look, she won't have to know. She will never know. Besides, it's a few Belos supporters. They're a bunch of wackos. They can't be that bad."

Later at the palace, Caleb, now in his black guard uniform and carrying Kaitlyn in a baby carrier into the meeting room. This was a strange sight for many of the Coven Heads since the black guard was meant to scare Belos supporters not humour them. Ever since the Day of Unity, 6 of the 9 Coven heads were either killed or disbanded. The last three members that were alive and well were Darius, Eberwolf and Raine Whispers. The other members included Gus Porter, head of the Illusions Coven; Taryn Overmyre, head of the construction Coven; Roctor Louse, head of the Healing Coven; Juneifer Rock, head of the Potions Coven; D'Yana T'Airece, head of the Plant Coven; And Dave, head of the Oracle Coven.

"Uh…..This is awkward." Gus whispered to Darius.

"I agree." Darius said. "You sure you don't want a babysitter?"

"Dave's brother, Steve could handle it!" Dave interjected while pointing at himself. "I don't know why I pointed at myself. I'm Dave, not Steve."

"Quiet Dave!" Everyone yelled.

The yell unfortunately was making Kaitlyn stir and appeared she was about to cry. Caleb quickly motioned to everyone in the meeting room to quiet down because she was asleep. Luckily, she soon calmed down.

"All rise for Emperor King." The guard's declaration made everyone stand up to show respect to King. King was only small when he became Emperor of the Boiling Isles, now that he is older, he has grown quite a bit with him being a Titan and all. He was now the size of a basketball player and needed some size improvements for his stuff, like his throne.

The Titan took a seat on his throne and eyed his subjects. "Good morning everyone. You may sit." Everyone sat down while King just stayed standing up to show his commanding presence. "Now, as some of you are aware, there have been sightings of Belos supporters in the area." Captain, if you may."

The captain of the Coven scouts drew a magic circle, causing a holographic projection of a building with a graffitied image of Belos on.

"As you can see, this image is scaring people who are traumatised during the Day of Unity and inspiring those to turn against me." Emperor King explained. "Now, I suggest we….." Emperor King then sniffed the air and cringed. "Find the source of that awful smell."

It wasn't just King whom was smelling it, but the Coven heads and the guards were as well. "Uh, whatever that smell is, keep it away from me." Darius demanded.

"Gus, did you fart again?" Raine asked.

"Me? No!" Gus responded. "I swear it wasn't me this time, Whispers. Eberwolf?" Eberwolf shook their head and motioned to Caleb.

The black guard sighed and sniffed his daughter and realised that she has had another accident. "Excuse me. I have to change her." He gets out of his chair and runs out of the room to change his daughter while the Coven Heads and the Emperor watched on unsure of how to react.

"This is why I never had kids." Said Darius. "A: Germs and B: Too much time."

Later, Caleb walked out of the bathroom with his daughter having had a fresh change. Despite the fact she did it at a wrong time, he couldn't help but laugh at how embarrassing it was. "You couldn't do it after the meeting was over?" Kaitlyn cooed. "Well, good thing Emperor King only executes little monsters that are nothing like you." He then stopped once he noticed Raine and Gus in front of him. "Um…..Emperor have a task for me?"

"Yeah, to help you." Gus replied.

"You sure you don't want anyone taking care of her?" Raine asked. "Is she causing stress for you?"

"Not at all." Caleb replied. "I'm just glad to be spending time with her. Plus, I think it's time she got to know what daddy could do." He kissed her forehead, causing another adorable coo.

Instead of being infatuated by the cuteness, Gus and Raine stared at them with concern. "Honestly Caleb, we're not only concerned about you, but the baby as well." Raine said.

"I agree with them." Gus replied. "I mean, I'm adopting a kid very soon and I wouldn't take them anywhere near my job. Far too dangerous!"

"Come on." Caleb responded without any regard to their concerns. "I'm not gonna hurt her." Flapjack tweeted in his ear. "Flapjack, I got her, okay?"

"Caleb, just send Kaitlyn to her grandpas or grandma or aunts or her uncle Gus." Gus pleaded.

"And not me." Raine requested. "I'm not properly trained."

"Nah, you two are not awesome parents like me." Caleb then waved. "Byeeeeeeee." Caleb then disappeared causing Gus and Raine to sigh in annoyance.

"I thought he stopped with that." Raine said as they shook their head in disappointment.

"Should we tell Willow?" Gus asked.

"I think fate has something worse in store." Raine responded with a smirk.

"I don't like that smirk." Gus said.

"I'm not planning anything!" They assured Gus, already sweating. "I'm not lying! I swear!"

"Oh, I believe you." Gus said before walking away. "You're far too soft and too much of a nervous wreck!"

They narrowed their eyes at Gus. "Hey! I was a huge help during the Day of Unity."

"By cutting contact with your ex?" Gus' retort made them shake their head before following the Coven Head.

Meanwhile, the Black Guard was patrolling Bonesborough for any signs of Belos followers. He was perched on a rooftop, watching Boscha on the crow phone to someone while holding what appeared to be her son and not giving him attention. While he watched on, he continuously patted his daughter on the back waiting for her to burp.

He then arrived to a store where he was talking to the storekeeper by trying to gain information out of them. But it was hard since his daughter kept trying to reach everything for the store. Luckily, he brought her rattler which kept her distracted.

He then started patrolling the air which was a bad idea because Kaitlyn kept crying before throwing up. Caleb looked down to see where it landed before flying away as fast as he could.

He was also seen strolling along the streets where a lot of the bystanders were cooing at the baby he had in the baby carrier. He then heard a rumble and hold his stomach.

"Huh, I'm hungry." Caleb said. "How about you Kaitlyn?" The baby made a noise. "Good thing you are." Flapjack then tweeted in his ear, looking annoyed. "Come on Falpjack, I was going to feed you. I didn't forget you."

Later at a small cafe, Caleb was eating a sandwich while Kaitlyn was in a high chair drinking her milk. As he ate, Caleb pondered where those Titan Belos supporters are. So far, he was coming out empty handed. Lack of footprints, lack of fingerprints, nothing. Not even a witness testimony. He took off his mask so he could get some eye-to-eye contact with his daughter,

"What a day we're having, huh Kaitlyn?" Caleb asked his daughter. "I mean, first I had to come into work even though I promised to spend the day with you and now, we came out empty handed." He placed his hands on his cheeks and sighed. "We only have two more hours until mommy is done with work."

Caleb then looked forward and noticed that Kaitlyn had her hands on her cheeks just like her dad. He grinned at what she was doing. And made a grin which Kaitlyn tried to copy. He then pulled a funny face which Kaitlyn copied. The Black Guard then stuck his tongue out with Kaitlyn doing the same thing.

He chuckled. "Aww, you're really becoming me, ain't ya? Wish you could help daddy in some way."

Kaitlyn then picked up her bottle and threw it over her dad's head, landing on a small woman, whose little squeal sounded familiar to Caleb. He then chuckled while giving a strict look to his daughter. "Kaitlyn Adeline Park. You shouldn't do that."

He then got off his chair to pick up her bottle and wipe the milk off of the patron. "I'm really sorry about my daughter ma'm."

"No, it's fine. I assure you." The small woman turned out to be none other than Kikimora, whom had her face painted like Belos' golden mask. She and Caleb froze at each other's eye range, which caused the Black Guard to back up a bit.

"Kikimora!" Caleb then grabbed Flapjack, whom turned into staff mode as his owner clenched hard on him. The Black Guard then put his helmet back on and narrowed his eyes at her. "So you're the one, aren't you?"

The former Emperor's Coven member chuckled. "Of course Black Guard. Who else would admire the Emperor so dearly? You should have stayed beside him."

"If I did, then every witch would have been dead." Caleb said. "Plus, all that blood would have been on my hands as well."

"Think about what good you have prevented Hunter. What good did you prevent by stopping the Emperor?" Kikimora asked.

Caleb smirked. "I'm already living in a great world. Whereas you are stuck in the past."

"Enough chit chat, Hunter." Kikimora said as one of the hands guarding her eyes opened. She used her magic to make Kaitlyn fly about which was causing her to only try and reach out for her daddy.

Caleb noticed this and gasped. "Kaitlyn!" He then kicked Kikimora in the face, sending her crashing through the wall. He quickly caught Kaitlyn and put her back in the baby carrier. "I got you Kaitlyn. Everyone, evacuate the premises." To his surprise though, everyone already had. He then turned to see Kikimora readying her magic.

The biped demon fired some purple fire which Caleb quickly deflected back by spinning Flapjack, causing it to shoot back towards her. But she was too quick and moved out of the way of the fire that was about to set fire to a nearby pet store.

Luckily, Caleb teleported in front of the fire and caught it in his hand before directing it back at the witch, who quickly used a trash can kid as a shield.

"Oh poor, poor Golden Guard." Kikimora said. "You still have much to learn." She threw some more fire at Caleb, who quickly hit them by using Flapjack like a baseball bat.

She was about to fire another flame ball, but Caleb teleported behind her and kicked her in the head. Kikimora grumbled in anger that she used her magic to conjure a fireball so huge that Caleb looked terrified by it.

"I'm afraid you leave me no choice, Golden Guard." Kikimora said. "Now you must die."

"You wouldn't kill a baby, would you?" Caleb asked.

"I tried killing plenty of children before." Kikimora replied. "A baby is just nothing but weak. Which would make it easy."

"You'll see how strong she is." Said a voice.

"Oh really?" Kikimora then shook her head to realise that there was a second voice. Before she could turn to see who it was, she got trapped by an army of vines.

This sight made Caleb smile while Kaitlyn made what sounded like a cheer. "D'Yana! Thank goodness you're here. Thanks for the assist."

Then, from from under the ground, popped something that Caleb didn't want to see. It was Willow looking angry and with her arms folded.

"Ah, Willow?!" Caleb reacted with surprise. "Uh…Thanks for the assistance. But I-"

Willow then snatched Kaitlyn out of the baby carrier while still glaring at her husband. "Home, now!" Willow demanded very angrily.

Caleb hung his head down in shame. "Yes captain."

Willow summoned Clover and flew off on her with Hunter following behind on Flapjack. While Kikimora was still trapped in the vines.

"So I'm just going to be stuck here?!" Kikimora asked angrily. "Is no one gonna cut me loose?! I'd accept anyone! Heck, I'd even go for a new Coven Head!" Kikimora sighed. "I should have just blown the palace to smithereens."

Later at the Park residence, Caleb was sitting on the couch waiting for the mouthful his wife was about to give him. But for the last two hours, Willow had only been silent as she stared out the window and watered her plants. Once they got home, Willow put Kaitlyn down for a nap, still very angry about what her husband did.

Bur Caleb couldn't take the silence any longer and sighed. "I'm sorry."

Willow took a deep breath. "You know what happened when I found out you took our daughter to work?"

"No."

"When Harper showed me that Penstagram post, I had to leave early due to my husband taking our daughter on his Black Guard patrol!" Willow exclaimed quietly.

"I….I…I just wanted to spend time with her." Caleb explained.

"You should have been aware of the dangers!" Willow scolded. "I mean, you fought Kikimora! She could have burnt her!"

"You think I was going to let that happen?" Caleb asked. "I would get hurt before her!"

Willow took a deep breath. "What you did today was probably the stupidest thing anyone had ever done! It was sweet that you wanted to spend time with our daughter, but I told you to send her to my dads!"

Caleb looked away from her with a hint of guilt on his face. "I just…."

"What, Caleb?!" Willow asked angrily. "Why did you wish to disobey me besides wanting to hang out with our daughter?!"

Caleb then shot off the couch. "Because I wanted to prove I was a good father to your dads!" That statement made Willow freeze. Instead of angrily asking what he meant, she just stood to let him patiently explain. "A couple of months before you gave birth to Kaitlyn, I heard your dads say something that made me hurt. They were worried I wouldn't be a good dad simply because of my upbringing. So, those days where I got to spend time with her aren't just days where I get excited to spend time with her, but days where I can prove to your dads that I am a good father despite my upbringing. But I guess I've been a pretty lousy parent."

Willow sighed. "That was a rather lousy move. But, it is a mistake. You know, your mom told me something before Kaitlyn was born. She told me that parenting isn't easy. Sometimes, a parent is going to make a mistake but eventually, we learn from that mistake. Caleb, I'm still a little mad that you did something reckless, but you're still learning and I'm still learning. I haven't made any major mistakes like that to her yet, but even when I do, I'll learn."

"Okay, I get it." Caleb said. "I'll not take Kaitlyn to my work even when I want to spend time with her."

"Plus, she will have to go to school when she's older." Willow pointed out.

"Yeah, I know." Caleb said.

"So, I think you're going to have to get used to the idea of us not being around Kaitlyn all the time." Willow said.

"I mean, I'm not around her on Mondays or Wednesdays to Thursdays and Saturdays." Caleb pointed out.

"Besides those days." Willow said. "How about Caleb, we go somewhere together? Because ever since we had Kaitlyn, we haven't had any time to ourselves."

"I mean, it sounds good." Caleb said. "But something is telling me I just can't leave Kaitlyn."

Willow smiled. "It will only be for a short time. In the meantime, she could stay with one of her relatives. While we go to….." Willow then pondered where to go. "Huh, I've been so caught up in trying to help you that I hadn't thought of a destination."

"Um….You know, I was thinking we could take Kaitlyn to the Dominican Republic when she's older." Hunter said. "You know, our honeymoon destination?" Willow just gave her husband a smirk, making him realise what he said. "But, I guess we can go while Kaitlyn is with one of her relatives."

Willow smiled. "That place is beautiful. Okay, we'll go this weekend and send Kaitlyn to her aunt Luz and aunt Amity. Heck, it could be a good time for her to know them and her cousin."

Caleb smiled. "I can't wait. I'm sorry for today."

Willow shrugged her shoulders. "That's all over. Let's get to sleep before Kaitlyn wakes up." Then like that, Kaitlyn was heard crying her eyes out. This made Caleb chuckled while Willow sighed. "I got her. You get yourself to bed." And so, Caleb got himself to bed while Willow went to sort out her daughter. Despite that very stupid thing he did today, Caleb was looking forward not only for the trip to the Dominican Republic, but to learn more about being a parent.
