At the Park residence, Willow was walking around her bedroom, tapping her fingers together nervously. She had been like this for the last 16 minutes as she waited for someone to come along. Just then, Amity walked into her bedroom looking mildly annoyed.
"How long does it take for one of your dads to usually trust someone who has wronged someone close to them?" Amity asked.
"Which one was it?" Willow asked.
"Harvey was giving me a look that said 'I don't forgive you.' Uh, I thought people would be over it." Amity said. "So, what was so big you had to call me instead of Gus?"
"Amity, there's something I've been holding inside of me." Willow replied. "I haven't told anyone about it for a while because I'm scared that people would think I'm ridiculous or say 'Willow, why would you want to go out with them?!' But, I can't hold it back any longer. I've been hiding it for 6 months and I think I've been doing a dang good job at it but-"
"Willow, spit it out." Amity interjected. "What is it? Just take a few deep breaths." Amity started to do the breathing method Willow's Dads taught her when she is agitated.
Willow took deep breaths with Amity, whom was counting to four with her fingers. "Okay. Amity, I went to you because well….No offence you fell in love with someone unlikely and I thought it'd be best if I told someone with similar experiences."
Amity's eyes were open. Is Willow implying what she thinks she's implying? "Have you fallen in love with a human?"
"No." Willow replied.
"Then who's the lucky witch? Or demon? Or….Whatever strange creature?"
Willow rubbed her arms awkwardly in place. "Well…I am in love with….." Willow took a deep breath. "I'm in love with Caleb."
Amity looked surprised by what Willow said at first before laughing. "You had me worried for a second. I thought you might have fallen in love with your plants."
"What?!" Willow exclaimed. "You're not even worried?"
"No. Why would I be?" Amity asked.
"Because you had that little rivalry, he was the Golden Guard and…..You were hesitant about him living with your girlfriend." Willow replied.
"You were right, I was." Amity replied. "But when I've been seeing Luz, she usually talks about how he's doing. Plus, he's doing well there."
"I hope so." Willow said sadly.
"You seem kind of unsure." Amity remarked. "Is there anything wrong with him?"
"No. Caleb is one of the sweetest people I've ever met." Willow replied. "But, he still has a few issues he needs to sort out. He keeps having mild panic attacks when he sees something that reminds him of Emperor Belos. I don't know if I can handle a relationship like that."
"Willow, sometimes relationships are strange." Amity said. "I'll be honest, I kind of had doubts if me and Luz would work since we're from two different worlds but we've been going out for a year and every moment with her are some of the best moments of my life."
"But this isn't about two different worlds, it's about his health." Willow replied. "Maybe, I should give it some time before going in."
"Okay Willow." Amity responded. "Just take your time. I understand. I took my time with Luz."
"You mean, you fumbled like an idiot and turned red like a tomato?" Willow retorted.
"I still took my time, though." Amity argued.
"Ookay, whatever you say."
"You know Willow, despite there being some things you might consider problematic if you two do end up together, I think you'll be amazing." Amity said. "He might need someone like you."
Willow smiled. "You think so?"
"A Blight intuition." Amity replied. "If Edric and Emira were right about me and Luz then I'm right about you and Caleb."
Suddenly, they heard a gasp coming from outside Willow's bedroom door. "Huh? Did you hear something?"
"Dads?!" Willow exclaimed. "Which one of you is listening?"
"Uhh….Gilbert?"
"Yeah, Harvey?" Gilbert asked his husband. "Why are you listening in?"
"Dad!" Willow exclaimed.
"We'll leave you alone!" Harvey responded from behind the door.
"I only just got here, what's going on?"
"Willow's in love."
"Aww!"
"Go!" Willow demanded.
