In the Human Realm, Caleb and Willow were both watching a movie in the living area. They were laying on the couch sitting close to each other with some popcorn on the floor.
The two of them decided to have a movie night together in the Noceda household as a way to spend their third date since Caleb was kind of a little tired to be going out for a date. Plus, he wanted to show Willow some movies he liked in the Human Realm.
Luz suggested he'd go for something romantic since it is a date but he claimed to know his girlfriend and wouldn't do the romantic stuff, but considered the option anyway. But when Willow arrived she surprisingly picked a horror movie called Star Beast. A movie about a crew of space truckers stuck in space with a creature of unknown origins. But so far, nothing was happening in it.
"Huh, I thought the Star Beast would show up." Willow said.
"Yeah, this is a slow movie." Caleb said. "All I'm getting is that they're just a bunch of jerks."
"I mean, that and…..what was the weird metal space ships called again?"
Caleb shackled. "Spaceships. You just said what they were."
Willow chuckled at her realisation. "Oh yeah."
"Then again, I think it's more of a slow pace scary movie, where they build up the tension." Caleb explained. "So it means that thankfully, the jump scares will be very predictable."
"Why is that human looking into a foreign egg?" Willow asked. "You don't know what it could be."
"Oh boy, the alien is going to pop out of the egg and latch to that guy's face. The jump scare is going to be rather…." Caleb screamed just as the jump scare happened and latched on to Willow for safety, who gave a small flinch.
The star beast itself, had grabbed the strange British man and was holding him close to their face, ready to kill him.
"Woah!" Willow reacted. "That was intense." She smirked and kissed Caleb on the forehead. "And I thought you said you saw the jump scare coming."
"I thought I did." Caleb said, terrified. "I didn't expect it to come from behind the man!"
"To be honest, it did kind of scare me." Willow admitted. "I mean, that star beast is quite scary looking."
"I know." Caleb said before he realised that he and Willow were a lot closer than usual and the two began staring at each other. Willow also realised this and began blushing.
Luckily to Caleb, there was no hint that Willow was finding this uncomfortable, plus her touch was making him feel safe from the movie. He shuffled upwards and gently wrapped his arm around Willow while not turning back to the movie which sounded like they got to a gory scene.
It was at this moment, their necks began shifting forward bit, but they kept pulling back, wondering if they actually wanted it. But the looks in their faces tell them, yes they want it.
The two closed their eyes and began leaning in to each other. They were doing it slowly just in case they wanted to pull back. But to each other's surprise, their lips actually met. The kiss was slow and gentle as they tried to make it last as long as they could.
They were so deep in to the kiss that they didn't hear Luz walk down the stairs, stop, covered her hand over her mouth to stop herself from screaming, waving her arms around like crazy, smiling like crazy and gently tip toeing back upstairs to let the two have their romantic moment.
After a few more seconds of bliss and ecstasy, the two of them pulled out and began staring at each other lovingly in the eyes. "Wow." Caleb reacted.
"Holy moly." Willow reacted.
"I can't believe we just did that."
"I can't believe I said holy moly."
The two stared at each other before laughing at how awkward the situation was that they still couldn't pay attention to the movie.
They soon stopped laughing and began staring at each other, still stunned about sharing what was their first, ever kiss.
"Well, that happened." Willow said.
"How was it?" Caleb asked.
"I…..I…..I mean, it was….unspeakable." Willow replied. "I honestly have no words."
"Are you kidding me?!" Caleb exclaimed. "That was….Amazing!"
"I didn't expect you to be an amazing kisser." Willow said.
"I may have been practicing." Caleb admitted.
"He just watched whatever romantic movie Mom was watching." Vee said as she slithered past.
"I mean, I wanted to get it right!" Caleb argued.
"Well, you did." Willow said. "Look, this is going to sound weird but can we at least try again? I feel I didn't do well."
Caleb smiled. "I felt you did well. But, I was just looking for another excuse to kiss you, so." Caleb leaned in with Willow and the two began kissing each other again.
"Come on you two, there are people here." Vee complained while Willow and Caleb continued. The basilisk sighed. "How come I'm the only child who doesn't have a girlfriend?" Vee slithered away with a tub of ice cream in her hand.
Caleb and Willow continued kissing until they realised that the movie they were watching was still on. "Oh! The movie!"
"Oh yeah." Willow responded.
She and her boyfriend turned to face the screen of the movie where a lot of interesting stuff was happening. The star beast was chasing the crew down through the vents while a woman with a flamethrower wondered around trying to catch a glimpse.
"I'm gonna nuke this sight and take off from orbit." The woman declared.
"Hey Caleb, what's the name of that actress playing the main character?" Willow asked. "She's pretty cool."
"Her name's Kaitlyn Adeline." Caleb replied.
"Kaitlyn? That's a really nice name." Willow said as she snuggled up to Caleb, continuing to watch the horror movie.
