Inside the Emperor's castle, Caleb was sitting on the throne where his uncle used to sit looking disappointed with the sobbing child in front of him.

"P-p-please, don't hurt me!" The girl pleaded.

"You shouldn't have failed me." Caleb said to the Golden Guard, whom was crying in front of him.

He stood up and began to approach them. "My liege, please!" The guard took off their mask to reveal a girl with long black hair and a few scars all over her face, including her right eye. "P-P-please don't hurt me!"

"I'm afraid it's too late for that." Caleb said as he approached the girl and placed a hand on her face.

"P-P-Please, father! I'm begging you!" Kaitlyn pleaded.

"Do it again." Caleb requested. "Your begging satisfies me."

Kaitlyn began crying her eyes out. "Pleeeease!"

"Uh….If only your mother was here." His hand then shape changed into a spear and raised it down to her face.

But then, Caleb shot out of bed as he began panting. He looked around the room he was in and it appeared to be his and Willow's bedroom.

He knew it was to be true when he saw his wife sleeping by his side as well as a family picture of him, his wife and their five year old daughter, Kaitlyn.

He held on to his chest to control his beating heart and then sighed. "Uh…another nightmare." He got out of bed and walked to his daughter's bedroom where she was sleeping on her bed.

He approached the sleeping form of his daughter, whom had already gotten a gap in her tooth just like her own dad and her hair a bit long and messy, a mixture of him and his wife.

He smiled as he stroked away a bit of hair on her forehead. "Kaitlyn Park, I had an awful nightmare. And….I hurt you." She gave small movements like she was about to be awakened, but Caleb quickly stroked her gently to let her rest. "But, I will never hurt you. You are one of the most important things in my life and I'd be the most cruel and uncaring person alive if I was to hurt someone as precious as you. You mean so much to me Kaitlyn and me and your mother can't wait to see what you'd grow up to be."

Kaitlyn then stirred and woke up from her dad talking a bit too loudly. "Daddy?"

Caleb gently shushed his daughter. "Hey, it's okay. I was just checking up on you. Go back to sleep now."

"Okay." Kaitlyn yawned before going back to sleep.

He watched her sleep for a few more minutes just to make sure she is safe and sound while stroking her head. He soon decided to leave her alone and go back to his own bedroom to sleep peacefully with his wife.

But when he got inside, his wife was already up looking concerned. "You had another nightmare?" Willow asked.

"Least I didn't scream this time." Caleb said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Do you wish to talk about it?" Willow asked as her husband sat down on the bed and began cuddling her.

"Nah, I just want to go back to sleep." Caleb replied. "But Willow, I need you to promise me one thing."

"What's that?"

"If I ever show signs of becoming my uncle, if I begin to do stuff he'd do, take Kaitlyn to the Human Realm and make sure she never gets back." Caleb requested.

Willow was shocked with what he said. "Caleb…."

"Willow, promise me!" Caleb pleaded. "Please, I don't wish to hurt her. I care about her more than I do myself and I'd do anything to protect her. Promise me, please."

Willow sighed. "Okay Caleb, I promise." She reluctantly said.

The two then laid on their backs to try and get some sleep, but Caleb's fear of hurting his daughter came to his mind while Willow was scared for her husband's worries to get worse.

"I will protect her." Willow said to herself.

"I will protect her." Caleb said to himself before finally sleeping.
