Two Worlds, Two Souls

Chapter 9: Beyond the Ruins

Angel's Point of View:

"Truly?" The gasp that escaped me as I looked to Toriel in shock was to be expected. I never thought I'd hear the words that she expressed to my sister and I would ever come out of her mouth.

"We can leave?" Frisk seemed to nearly squeal in delight as she bounced next to me in excitement. "But we can come back too, right?"

Toriel seemed to beam at the desire to return to our first home in the underground. "Of course, just call me to let me know of your arrival and I will unlock the doors into the ruins. Let's use the next day to prepare you two for your journey. It is quite cold outside of the ruins as you approach Snowdin, compared to smoldering in Hotlands. I've adjusted a few clothes for the two of you to wear for those appropriate weather climates. Shall we try them all on?"

"New clothes?" Frisk looked quite eager as she pulled on both of our clothes. "Can we?"

I waved at her to head toward Toriel's bedroom. "Go on."

Frisk took off toward the older female's room, eager to see what the woman had pulled aside for clothing. I was eager myself. I knew Toriel had been working hard on clothing for us in-between us spending time together and exploring the ruins. It would be sad to change that pattern, but I was eager to find a life for us down in the underground, beyond the ruins.

Upon entering her room, I saw a variety of clothes that had been set out on the bed for us to look through that Toriel had worked on. I had a feeling that we wouldn't be taking all the clothes, but a good few outfits. My eyes were drawn to the pile that Toriel had left on the right side of the bed where a dark red, button up, plaid shirt sat at the top of the pile.

I felt my heart skip a beat. I loved plaid.

I hurried over to the pile of clothes and carefully looked through them. Toriel didn't seem to have as many style choices for me as I saw my sister did, yet I was grateful for what was there. There was a few plaid shirts, some short sleeved or long sleeved that I could use to layer with some sleeveless shirt under them. I had a few pairs of jeans and shorts that were there to try on along with some hand knitted socks that I could only guess Toriel made herself. There was also a baggy sweatshirt that was left on the bed, a faded black one that I didn't truly care for much. Beyond that was a rich red jacket that truly caught my attention. It resembled a zip up hoodie with thick, fluffy white material on the inside to keep me warm, a white fur looking hood with the red color everywhere else.

I was enthralled with it.

The jacket was the first thing I tried over the nightdress I still wore, as my sister and I had simply not cared to dress out of those clothes. We'd yet to even have breakfast, but that was something we would do after the excitement had calmed down. I knew Toriel had some leftovers that I'm sure she wouldn't be apposed of us finishing off so late in the day.

Moreover, the jacket that had been left out for me was a perfect fit. It was beyond comfy and instantly reflected my own body head back at me. I was beyond thrilled with the way it felt and covered me up. I quickly looked around to see if there was anything else to try on beside the shirts and pants, and quickly came across some hiking shoes that were beside the bed. I hurried to place on a pair of socks before pulling them on and lacing them up. Unfortunate, they were slightly too big for my feet, but they were most likely the best kind of shoe I could use in order to travel with. They seemed tough on the exterior, and just from first glance, they appeared water proof even if I bet they weren't very cold resistant. It would be better than having my old (destroyed) sneakers on my feet in that snowy biome outside the iron doors.

I swiftly tried on the other clothes before I noticed that a few essentials were not included. It seemed there were no other bras or underwear for me, but I truly expected that. I hardly figured that Toriel would have the clothes she already had for us, anything else was a bit of a stretch. It would be something I'd have to shop for separately.

I'd also have to look for some small ones for Frisk soon… she was already twelve and hadn't shown many signs of beginning her womanly cycle. I've always been worried about going over that with her and her first time, and I had a dreadful feeling it was going to happen soon…

Call it big sister intuition, but I could certainly tell it was going to happen in the worst possible way and when I wasn't there or when there were many males around…

"How are you doing, my children?" Toriel knocked on the door lightly before joining us. She eagerly looked between us as we happily were covered in many of the clothes that she had made for us or had altered that were already here. "Oh Frisk, that shirt looks lovely on you. It seems purple really is your color."

I glanced over to my sister and noticed that my sister was sporting a new pair of jeans and a turtle neck top that was stripped of a mid-tone blue color and a similar shade of purple. She was overly happy with the style, and that had always been her own. She loved clothes like those back when she was younger and our parents were still with us.

I knew any shirts like that would be ones she'd like.

"And you Angel, it seems you found all the plaid shirts alright." I grinned at her with no shame as I tried them on and set them to the side to pack later on.

"I've always loved that style clothing, it's very comfortable and easy to layer if needed." I sifted through a few more things before I looked back at the kind woman who'd taken care of us all this time. "I'm sorry to ask more of you Toriel, but you don't happen to have any items for 'that time of the month' do you?"

"Oh! Yes, I have a few of those, I entirely forgot. Forgive me." Toriel moved over to where her bed was and reached into a hidden drawer under the covers to pull out a bag for me. I saw it was tampons and I was grateful for them, I'd gone through a cycle or two while down here and I knew it'd be a few weeks before I'd start another one.

Frisk visibly shrunk away. "Are those for when I bleed for the first time? It always sounds so scary…"

I hurried over and pattered her head for comfort. "The first time will be the worst since you will be experiencing it for the first time. After that, it will become a bit easier to work with, or at least you'll be more familiar with it. There are some times where I can fly through it and you don't even know I'm having it. Others I'm struggling to hide it because of how painful it is. I normally would keep some medicine to help on the worst days, but eventually, you can fool a lot of people into thinking your fine." I showed her the bag of tampons I had in my hands. "These little guys keep you from ruining so many clothes."

My sister flinched at that. "That's so gross…"

"Well, part of being a girl. If you were a guy, it would be an entirely different story." I sighed and looked back to all the clothes. "Let's go ahead and pack a few outfits so we have some choices for when we get out there. We can't just wear one outfit all the time."

My sister looked between all the clothes and then hesitantly at me. "How are you going to fit them all in a bag? There's too many."

"Well, for starters, I don't plan on taking everything. There's a few things I'll leave behind so that anyone else that manages to fall down here will at least have something. And second, as Mother used to say, 'I could fit fifty pounds in a twenty-pound sack if given the chance'."

My sister looked at me skeptically. "I don't believe you."

"Then how about a wager, dear little sister?" I smirked as I prepared for this competition. "Set aside all the clothes you want to take and I'll pack it, if I can't do it before the end of the hour, you get the last slice of butterscotch cinnamon pie, as well as well as three truths or dares you can use against me, even about the subject of Sans. But if I win, I get all those things that I could use against you instead."

That certainly caught her attention and sealed the deal as she held out her hand to a competition she didn't think entirely through before agreeing. "You're on."

I shook her hand back and we turned back to Toriel as our witness. "Now Toriel, please be our judge and witness as the third party."

"Oh dear…" It seemed that Toriel knew exactly what was going to happen as well as she agreed and stood by the edge of the bed. She pulled out two backpacks for the two of us and while my sister placed out the things she wanted, I began to store all the clothes I wouldn't be using into the bag, other than one outfit for tomorrow and the jacket and boots. A few shirts I didn't care for and the sweater I'd left behind for some other person.

Once my bag was done and set to the side, my sister left out a large amount of clothes that looked to be more then what the normal sized backpack could carry. She had left an outfit to the side like I had for when we would leave tomorrow. I would tell Sans so he could meet us at some time and we could gather more information.

I grinned, looking at the challenge before and knowing I'd do it well.

"Alright start the timer."

Later That Morning

"NO!" My sister sobbed as she watched me eat the last piece of pie before her eyes. Sitting next to us by the basement stairs were both of our backpacks filled to the brim with items and food Toriel had helped us pack after our competition was over. Like I had thought, I'd filled out the bag of Frisk's with all her clothes in no time with room to spare and she couldn't believe it.

Now I had three truths or dares I could use at her whenever I wanted, and I was so looking forward to those.

"Better luck next time baby sister." I grinned at her while I ate. The creamy dessert was something I'd miss while we were gone as well as the company of the motherly monster.

But we couldn't hide away. I wanted to freely walk out between these people and be someone they weren't afraid of or try to kill. I hoped I could convince them for safe haven from the humans above.

My sister pouted at me. "You cheated!"

I raised an eye brow at her before turning to Toriel. "Did I cheat?"

"Not in the slightest." Toriel chuckled before she held out her arms to hug my sister. "Child, you should be wearier of such a sweet deal. Your sister knew before the competition started that she would win, now she holds such power over your head. Be more careful in the future."

My sister was still not pleased, not until I shoved the final bite of pie into her mouth. She squealed in surprise before I stood.

"Best get some sleep, Frisky. We'll be leaving bright and early tomorrow."

"But it's so early!" Frisk pouted at me. She then thought about it for another moment and an evil grin appeared on her features. "Wait… are you getting up early so you can talk to Sans?"

"Well, I for one would like to be well rested before we move to another location, at the same time as it would be nice to have a local guide us." I sighed as I stepped away from her, but I turned around for one final moment before heading into our bedroom. "I would be mindful of what you say now little sister, I hold three little powers over you now."

Frisk seemed to stew on that for a moment to see if there was anything else she could get away with without aggravating me enough to use one of the said three acts against her. When she figured out she couldn't, Frisk sulked and turned away from me, infuriated.

I could only chuckle at her as I got ready for bed. Tomorrow was going to be a new day, a new adventure, and one that I was eager and fearful of.

The Next Morning:

It was early that next morning that I would meet up with Sans like I normally did. I was praying incredibly hard that this wasn't one of the days where he didn't show since I was eager to meet him in person in a short amount of time. Sans and I always met early in the morning, normally around four or five am before any others would wake before going about our days. I know that Sans often came by during the day or evening to do his comedy act with Toriel to keep her spirits high, but today was the day that all would change.

"Please be here…"

I knocked at the door to see if I would get any response. When nothing came, I sighed and leaned against the door, sliding to the floor to wait and see if he'd come. It was times like those where I'd sing just to pass the time and also give Sans a heads up that I was actually there instead of not.

Back in the earlier times that I'd met him, I used to bring work with me, such as books to read. However, Sans normally would show up shortly after I arrived so it made little sense to start something I knew I would be knee deep in before he'd even get there. If I had something smaller to work on, I would do that instead, but more often than not, my voice was the best indicator that I was here or not.

"I let it fall, my heart, and as it fell you rose to claim it. It was dark and I was over, until you kissed my lips and you saved me," I sang softly, letting the notes remind me of the past and feeling the burn of a memory through my thoughts. "But there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew. All the things you say they were never true, never true. And the games you play, you would always win, always win…"

Singing always reminded me of my mother. It was of my connections still to her even after she'd passed all those years ago. She'd always been a lively sort, one for fairytales and romance. Her life basically was one with us all, only a few bumps in the road that would make her think otherwise. She had always been too kind for our world, but always reminded me that people could be kind, and it was their choice to be bad.

Yet, as we sat in the underground and had suffered for the last five years without her or our father, I slowly began to doubt that. Those memories though, I still treasured them simply because they came from my parent. It was one of things I remembered she stressed to me a lot when I didn't get along with most people.

I had been kind like my mother, more of a pacifist and a non-fighter, I liked to see the best in people before I would make rash decision, using the ability I had. I was like no other before me. My soul was incredibly sensitive, I could feel the slight changes in everyone depending on what their end desire was, their souls would all speak to me. Before they could even come close, I would either run (the more likely option) or speak (the less, nearly non-existent, option.)

Others of my own kind had been nothing but cruel after we lost our parents nearly five years ago. The only one we could and would trust showed signs of never waking up, and we were placed into one terrible situation after the next until I took my sister and ran. It was dreadful having the police constantly on your tail; I just hoped that things would be a bit more lax as we roamed into the underground.

"Awe, were ya bonely here without me Precious?" I lifted my head as I heard the male voice I was used to on the other side of the door.

"Sans, good morning." I giggled lightly at his joke. I always enjoyed it when he would make me laugh that early in the morning; truly waking me up. I thought it would do the same for him to hear laughter. He always seemed so addicted to it with how often he crake a bad joke in my direction. "How are you?"

"Doin' good Angel. Just stretchin' the ol' bones this mornin'." He chuckled before I felt him move close enough that he was standing on the other side of the door.

I couldn't stop myself from turning toward the door. "Sans, I have exciting news!"

"Ya learned how to be punny?"

"I wish," he still had me in a giggly mood, but I was still too excited. "Sans, Toriel agreed to let my sister and I leave the ruins."

That stunned him into silence.

A few beats passed before I heard him speak again. "Really?"

"Yes! We're all packed and ready to go, but I wanted to let you know too, and maybe… ask for a tour guide from a good friend?"

That got a little chuckle out of him. "Ya sure ya wanna come out here? It's not as nice as in there."

"Yes, I want to make a life for my sister and I down here. I have no plans of returning to the surface-"

"Ya know, I find that really hard ta believe." Sans cut me off with a small bite to his voice. "Ya really have no desire ta go back? What's the reason?"

I let out a sigh and hugged my legs to myself. "…we're runaways Sans."

That made him pause. "Runnin' from what?"

"Everything? Everyone? Take your pick, no one wanted us for good reasons. So there was no reason to stick around. I'm actually happy with the events that led us down here. At least no one would dare to come after us in fear of the barrier…"

"It can't really be that bad up there… is it?"

Sans' voice… it sounded so sad and desperate in that moment, but he was trying to hide it from me. I could feel it though. I could feel how upset he was to hear that.

I couldn't lie to him, it my own situation that was bad, not the world. It was my perception.

"No, the world itself is beautiful. It's just my own judgment that's changed Sans. The people up there that are after me and my sister are what make it such a dangerous place, though… I guess it would be the same for you guys if you ever managed to make it up there, humans are split on how they feel about monsters and integrating them into society. It's been a conversation going on since your ancestors were sealed away a hundred years ago…"

Sans paused unsure how to speak back. "It's just… yer situation that makes ya not want to go back?"

I sighed. "Sans, let me put it this way, I have more friends and family down here then I do above."

I felt his soul become angered at that. It only lasted for a second before he composed himself and let out a deep breath. I blinked when I felt that, I didn't think he could get mad…

But I should have known better, comedy always comes from a dark place…

"Then I guess I gotta be a good friend and show ya a skele-ton of fun down here."

And there Sans had turned around an entire situation from where we were having a serious conversation into a humorous one. I was laughing once more, though trying to prevent it from being too loud and waking Toriel and Frisk again.

There would be plenty of time to laugh out loud when I met him for the first time, one my first friends in the underground who liked me for being myself, not judging from my past mistakes.

"So, will you be a guide for me and Frisk when we leave here?"

"I'd be quite the bonehead if I didn't."

"Ha!" I laughed. "You and your puns!"

Sans snickered from the other side of the door. "But ya find them punny."

"That, I do." I smiled. "On a more serious note, can you be here around nine in the morning? That's about… three or four hours from now?"

"Pap and I'll be out on patrol anyway. Sure, I can be here."

I frowned slightly. "And you said Papyrus will try to capture us… but it's not really an issue, right?"

Sans snorted at that. "Nah, ya just leave Paps ta me."

"Okay," I sighed at that. "I'll trust you on that Sans."

"Alright, now let's go over the plan…"

Later That Day

Hours later, my sister and I stood at the same door I would sit and talk to Sans every now and then that Toriel planned to unlock for us. She was still hesitant about us going, but was happy that we wanted to return back every now and then. She was thrilled that we would not forget about her.

Yet, how could we? She saved us from near death and nursed us back to help. Even after knowing her for only a few months, she was so kind… She was someone we'd never forget.

"Are you sure you two are ready to go?" Toriel asked us softly while I made sure my sister's and my clothes were fitted right to keep us warm before we walked out of those doors.

Frisk was in the outfit she'd fallen in love with yesterday. Light blue jeans covered her legs while her blue and purple stripped turtle-neck covered her body. Over that she had a warm jacket of white color and thick white boots to go with it. Purple gloves were on her hands to keep them warm and her blue back pack over her shoulder. She had a dark blue hat covering her head which held down her messy brown hair.

I on the other hand had on black jeans, a maroon sleeveless shirt over the top of me and the red and black plaid over that. However, both shirts were covered by the red fluffy jacket I'd found and the brown hiking boots I had on to protect my feet. I didn't have a hat, so I simply had braided my hair to the side of my head and pulled up my hood to keep me warm. I'd invest in a scarf later on to keep from losing my body head around there. My faded black bag was over my shoulders while we prepared to leave our first home.

"I'm ready!" Frisk snickered as she wiggled her eye brows at me. "I'm ready to meet the mystery monster Sans who has my sister's attention."

"Enough Frisk or I'll use a dare on you."

"Bleh!" Frisk blew a raspberry at me and I narrowed my eyes before my sister squealed and hid behind Toriel.

"You won't be able to do that for long you little rascal!"

"Girls, easy now." Toriel tried to calm us, but she was laughing at our antics. "We're supposed to be saying good-bye."

My sister pouted over at her. "Sorry Tori…"

The motherly monster sighed before she smiled at her. "It's alright. Now remember to call me every night and tell me of your adventures. And if you can't call me, at least leave me a message."

"We will." I walked back over to her and quickly pulled her into a hug. "Thank you so much for everything you've done for us. You have no idea how much we really needed someone like you."

Toriel hugged me back just as tightly before she allowed me to step back and take a good look at me. "I'm so happy to hear that, my child."

"Hug me too!" Frisk bound toward Toriel in a powerful leapt that startled the two of us and threw us to the ground. Both Toriel and I cried out in surprise, but within seconds we were laughing and hugging one another. Who knew my sister had such strength underneath her small body?

"I'll miss you too Frisk…" Toriel hugged her tightly while my sister rolled on top of our motherly figure we'd come to love.

Once our hugging session was deemed over, we rose to our feet and Toriel walked to the side of the door. There was a large lever there that she manipulated with her magic as well as her own strength which made the large doors begin to move, as well as shifted part of the entire ruins. My sister and I watched in amazement as light began to enter, glittering in from the crystal on the ceiling outside. Snow slipped into the door and blew at us quickly, marking the entrance to the snow biome that we knew was down there.

I turned one more time to face Toriel before I reached for Frisk's hand. She took it quickly, also worried about this new area for us. She and I slowly stepped outside of the doors and we saw them begin to close behind us. Frisk and I turned worriedly back, watching as Toriel came into view for a few final moments for us to wave at her with longing smiles before we were separated, the door had closed once more.

On the outside of the door was exactly how Sans had described the view to me a few times. Snow was constantly floating down from the space above where I could barely make out glittering crystals that seemed to produce the said white substance. Before us was a path that showed no footprints of who'd been there before. Forest trees of spruce and pine varieties marked out the path before us that seemed to lead further down a mountain side. I couldn't see any towns from there, but Sans had said to follow the path up to the sentry station, only a mile or so up the path, and that was where we'd meet.

"Sis?" I turned to look down at my sister who worriedly looked back at me. She was nervous about the land that stood before us and the long path of being accepted by all the people of the underground that we'd have to face from now on.

My free hand that didn't hold her own I used to rub her cheek. We always had been very affectionate with each other.

"It's okay Frisky. We just need to head up the road and meet up with Sans. We're looking for a sentry station about a mile or so up the road. Sans said it was made of wood, so we're looking for something that's going to be brown or some similar color to that, okay?"

She leaned into my touch and nodded. "Okay…"

My sister and I then dared to walk forward, following the path that Sans had described to me. The snowy trail left nothing much to follow except the narrow space between the trees. My sister and I blindly followed the path with no experience such as Sans had to know where we were going.

After a few minutes of walking, I noticed that there was a branch on the ground in our path, barely covered in a fresh blanket of snow. My sister and I stepped over the discarded branch easily enough. A few feet after it, we heard a snap and we both turned around.

The branch was broken.

"But…" My sister was at a loss for words. She worriedly looked at the branch fearfully before turning to me, her hand clenching my own. I glanced back in general and felt around with my soul. I soon caught the feeling of Sans. He was nearby, but I kept feeling him moving at an incredibly fast rate.

I blinked as I tried to follow where I could sense his soul. Could he teleport?

It actually wouldn't surprise me if people down here had that kind of ability, so I wasn't incredibly surprised. I knew Sans could feel that I was looking for him. Perhaps he kept moving around to play with my sister? I just hoped he didn't spook her too much.

A particularly powerful gust caught us by surprise in the tundra and forced my sister and I to return to our way down the path.

My sister and I steadily walked down the path were nothing appeared until a small chasm appeared below us with a simple bridge to cross it. Above it stood a wooden beam that looked almost like a gate, if the bars weren't so wide that we were able to walk through with ease.

I felt Sans' soul finally stop moving, appearing behind us. We heard the crunching of snow behind us, but my sister was too petrified to move. She shook in place while I stood, kept my grip on her hand strong so she knew she wasn't alone. We were together, and nothing bad was going to happen.

"Human…"

My sister squealed and dove into my side, afraid to look.

"Don't ya know how ta greet a new pal? Turn around and shake my hand."

She shivered against me, but she followed the instructions given to her. As soon as she turned and held out her hand, I heard a farting noise go off and Sans' laughter filled the small area around us. The wind died down and all I could hear and feel was him and his soul.

My sister glanced back blankly at him behind me before she giggled. The farting noises continued before I glanced back slightly to see my sister's hand holding a hand made of nothing but bones, reminding me of the skeleton models we had in school, but without any of the screws holding together the pieces. I also could barely see the blue fabric of a jacket that seemed to cover the arm of the skeleton hand.

"Ah, the whoopee cushion in the hand trick, always funny." He chuckled at that before I saw his hand be pulled away and I fought the urge to race around to see him. "So, yer a human, right?"

"Um… yeah?" my sister answered him curiously.

"That's hilarious!" Sans boasted before I saw him stuff his hand into his pockets. "Name's Sans, Sans the skeleton. And ya must be Frisk."

My sister's eyes lit up in realization before she looked around to see my smile at her. She grinned at me deviously. "So, this is the mysterious Sans? Angel?"

I didn't say anything to her, trying to hide the ugly red in my cheeks from embarrassment. "Come on Precious," Sans commented with a humorous tone. "No hug for yer darlin'?"

"Oh my God!" Frisk squealed, toppling over to get away from me before I could smack her. "You flirt with him too!?"

"I do not!" As she ran and hid behind the male we were arguing about, I finally turned to see the one I'd been wanting to see for the last couple of months. A skeleton was the one who greeted me (that I was already aware of, yet slightly unnerved by it at first), but his cheeky grin was what pulled me. Porcelain colored bone was what I saw while eye socks that led to black nothingness in his skull looked back at me with the smallest white dots for eyes (that I could assume was his magic making them to see.) He himself was covered in black shorts with a single stripe down the side of his pant legs, showing off his legs from his knees downward. His feet were covered in pink slippers with white socks covering his feet of all things. A simple white tee-shirt and a blue jacket that seemed to be almost identical in style to my own covered the top half of him, though I could see that there was some faded stains into the sleeves from something red or brown, I could only assume was condiments of some sort.

He was even more fitting of the imagine of him then I imagined…

For all the time that I'd known him, I was seeing him. I was finally seeing him and placing a face to a name. After my initial shock of seeing him for the first time and truly accepting him as a skeleton, I was once again drawn in by his features, his soul and his voice.

My lord, what was wrong with me?

I felt myself get so emotional as I stood before him, actually ignoring my sister as she pranced about and teased me, but I was so lost while looking at him that I couldn't think properly.

"Knock, knock."

I couldn't help myself.

Sans tilted his head at me. "Who's there?"

"Orange."

"Orange who?"

"Orange you glad to meet your new friend?"

Sans snickered at that, but he gasped in surprised when I launched forward and hugged him tightly. His clothes made him soft, but he felt so small underneath them all. A few moments ticked by as I held him to me before he held me back, gripping me back also in such a tight manner that I'd done to him.

He smelled like cinnamon…

"I hope you liked it, I've been looking for the perfect joke to try and greet you with." I smiled into the side of his hood that hung over his shoulders. I couldn't help but breath in that scent he had on him from body wash or something another. "I'm not very good at them like you, but I hope I wasn't too bad."

"Nah, it was prefect Angel." I felt him chuckle against me, and I had so many questions to ask him, but I refrained from doing that in order to just enjoy the feeling of his soul being so close, one that I'd truly gotten used to in the last few months. Besides Toriel and my sister, he was the only one I felt close to.

I was startled from my moment when I felt something cold hit me in the face. I jumped back from Sans and he seemed startled as well, our moment ruined by the tiny terror that was my sister with another snow ball in her hands.

"Angel and Sans, sitting in a tree~!"

"You little-" I cut myself off from swearing just moments before I hurried myself at her. My sister squealed and we danced around Sans in an attempt to either escape or catch the other with the poor male in the middle.

The victory was so much better when I slugged her with a snowball only a moment later that left Sans and I laughing our hearts out, even if my sister was snickering the entire time.

Witch's Note:

Hey guys! How was that? Gotta love those moments between Sans and Angel! God, don't they make me swoon! I hope you all are enjoying this just as much as I am! This is one of my favorite chapters in the beginning of the story.

But as I'm sure many of you know, a new character is popping up in the next one! Do any of you know who it is? Mystic Girl does, but I'm fairly certain a lot of you all know them too. Can't wait to see them in the next chapter and how the girls react to them!

And now! Onto responding to our lovely reviewers.

RoseCentury: Sorry about that. My mistake. Hope you guys are still loving the story though!

ShunGod: Wow? Really? How sweet of you! I'm so happy to hear that! I always saw Toriel as overly concerned motherly figure who just… needed the time to come to terms with what the girls (or just Frisk in the game) wanted to do. I think it's more realistic for her to welcome them back on occasion then just abandon them entirely. But that's my take on it.

Love you all and see you next week! Please don't forget to review! Please! Mystic Girl and I both love to hear your thoughts, questions and wonders!
