Bogo's Office

Twenty minutes later, the four mammals walked up to Bogo's office and found the door open. He looked over, as they approached and motioned them in. "Come in and close the door." Once the door was closed and they were all seated, Bogo reached behind himself, activating the privacy device. "Okay. Nick, Judy. You both probably already know why I've called you here. Mike and Lizz probably don't. The city council has approved the task force and actually expanded the scope. You two." Pointing to Nick and Judy. "Will be leading it, as you have been up to this point, and your initial slate of suggested mammals now below to you.

Your mandate includes the continued investigation of the anti-interspecies groups, and everything else you proposed. You will also be looking into Kit Services, and be the ZPD's contact point for reports of possible illegal activity within most government agencies. You will also be coordinating with a new, independent, non-partisan group that will forward items to your team, and if you find them to not be criminal, either because they are not, or because laws don't exist for what is happening. You will refer that back to this group, and they will work with you to craft possible laws for the council to review and pass."

Judy leaned back against Nick, rubbing her belly. "Calm down you guys." Looking up at Bogo. "Okay. That is amazing. But why are Lizz and I here?"

Bogo smiled, an actual warm smile. "First. This task force, led by you, will report directly to Ben, who will keep me informed. He is authorized to approve most actions, and knows when he will need to check with me first. Second, both you and Lizz are authorized, due to your new positions, to consult on this team while you are on maternity leave. This ensures that you will be up to speed when you do return to work fully. You will NOT participate in any raids, arrests, etc… Is that clear?"

Judy and Lizz nodded, Judy grinning as she responded. "Understood, Chief. The last few days have not been normal, even for us."

Rolling his eyes, Bogo snorted. "Yeah… Right. I have a list of possible officers to add to your list. You will also have access to ZBI resources. Though any access that requires assets will have to go through either myself or the ZBI director, depending on if you are using ZPD, ZBI assets, or both. Ben knows when he will need to ping one or both of us." Tapping a large information packet in front of him, "Everything is in here. When you two," pointing to Nick and Mike, "come into work tomorrow, your first task will be to figure out some work space for your team and then start making calls and bringing in your chosen team, as well as interviewing and selecting the new members based on the expanded mandate. Questions?"

The four of them looked at each other. Nick shook his head and responded. "Nothing at this time, sir. I'm sure we will have more once we get a chance to go over this information and discuss things amongst ourselves. I assume Chromest and Ghalt will still be members?"

Bogo nodded. "They will continue to operate as they have thus far and act as your sanity check once you have collected information. Ben, McHorn, and myself will also fill that role. Since you will have a wider mandate, you will need more resources to check your work. It isn't that I am worried about your work. Based on what Chromest and Ghalt have stated, you have done impeccable work thus far."

Judy nodded. "Thank you sir. We understand. As we are in interspecies relationships, you need to have extra eyes before any charges are brought so that the charges are unassailable by a defense lawyer. At least, no more than normal."

Bogo nodded. "Exactly."

Mike grinned and spoke up. "Thank you sir. It has been a long road."

Bogo smiled. "Yes, but you still need to finish your degrees before you can get promoted to Lieutenant, and you need to be at least an LT before you can be more than a Detective Junior grade. I'm sure your partners can drive you hard in that vein."

Mike smiled and nodded. "They already have, sir. Getting both Lizz and I hooked up with the same online university they used."

"Good. One more thing. I am empowering you to make any arrests you need to, up to and including precinct captains. Yes, I saw your draft list, and it terrifies me that we have that many officers still as members or having participated in such activities."

Nick looked down and sighed. "That list still needs to be parsed, sir. However, in the case of Captain Jergov, we have hard evidence that he directly participated in the murder of at least four inter-species couples and did his part as a precinct captain to cover up more."

Bogo closed his eyes and took a slow breath, rubbing his brow and the space between his horns. "And there is the first migraine. Okay. Do you have any idea where you are going to set up shop?"

"Not yet sir. Had not expected it to be approved so easily."

Bogo nodded. "Well, with us being able to take Thearance and Meadowlaw off the council due to their involvement, the Mayor was able to get the rest of the council to realize that some things needed to change. Your proposed task force provides that. There are enough items that you can probably give the inter-species part to other members and lead directly some of the other things, providing insulation to the evidence and charges."

Judy nodded. "We will make sure all work we do is unassailable, sir."

"I know you will." Leaning back in his seat, Bogo looked over the four mammals in his office. "There is also the request that you add ZBI agents to consult with. You wouldn't happen to have any you'd prefer?"

Nick laughed. "Oh, that's easy, sir. I'm sure the Director complained about it to you already. Skye and Savage. Our counterparts on that side of the agency divide."

Groaning with a nod, Bogo sighed and rubbed his hoof down his face. "Yeah. He complained about it. They seem to be just as much a pain in his tail as you are mine. Please, while you are at this, please; I'm begging you, do not locate some society shattering conspiracy to cover up some near-history source of non-evolved mammals used to feed predators in the past." Nick and Judy glanced at each other nervously and Bogo growled and slammed his hoof on the desk. "Okay. Spill. What do you two know?"

J: Crap. Do we tell him?

N: Well, he already knows we know something. Wouldn't be surprised if he suspects it himself. He's not an idiot.

M: What are you two talking about?

N: Things Judy and I know about because of the data we have from the Helketta, Cheth, and other sources.

L: Oh hell. You're kidding, right?

J: Nope. I'll leave this to you, Nick.

N: Thanks. No… Really.

Bogo glared at the four of them. "Knock that shit off! Do not do that while in my office."

Nick chuckled nervously. "Sorry sir. Just deciding how much to tell you. Do you really want to know?"

"No! I do not want to know, but I need to know."

Nick took a deep breath. "Okay. So, from writings available to us through our associations with groups like the Helketta, as well as the deeper old writings in our families histories. We know for a fact that there were several sources of protein used by predators as recently as three hundred years ago, that were not fish or birds, and were not intelligent. Much of that was raised by prey farmers, much as Judy's family provides most of the chicken eaten in the region.

The description of the animals appear to be non-sentient versions of several larger rodents and a species of goat. According to the writings, there are also probably other species of non-sentient mammals that live in remote regions and are probably used as food sources for tribes of mammals that have not yet been contacted by our civilization. Such as in the Amazonia Jungle. Some of the poisons and herbal medicines the Helketta had were developed from things they learned from just such tribes. The writings include descriptions of the animals the predator tribes were eating, and it was not members, most of the time, of the nearby prey tribes."

Shaking his head, Bogo nodded. "Figures. When that comes out… Okay, I'm adding a new aspect, but this stays between the five of us. I don't even want Ben hearing about this. I want you to determine where any such farms were, and what those animals were. If there are live specimens, you will bring in the ZBI who will bring in experts to study them and why they are not sentient like the rest of us."

Judy nodded. "Yes sir. We will also have to be careful about who in the ZBI we bring into this, as we know there are still prey supremacists in their ranks too."

Bogo nodded with an exhausted sigh. "Right, and the last thing we need is for them to get such a cudgel against predators. We need to reveal their existence and then that it was prey raising them to feed the predators, with evidence."

Judy nodded with a chuckle. "Well, my family was one of those farmer groups, sir. Once our chicken farm was large enough, we stopped, but the records and the remains of that effort are still on our property."

"Of course it is. Keep that in your back pocket until needed, but you will drive that investigation as well, and we will coordinate a careful reveal that doesn't result in more schism between predator and prey. That your family did that may just help when the reveal happens."

Judy nodded. "Sounds good, sir."

Nick smiled. "One last thing, sir. The inclusion of the media. Are you going to have us manage that, or will we be adding a press liaison?"

Bogo squinted. "Good thinking. Vette someone, get them approved by Ben, and then add them to your team. I'm sure you will be able to keep them busy. I need you to be ready for an announcement of the Task force, which will obviously not cover all of the aspects you will be looking into, in two weeks."

"Can do, sir." Nick gave a lazy salute to which Bogo rolled his eyes and Judy elbowed him in the ribs.

"Okay. All four of you. Get out. Review the packet and get back to me with any questions and your chosen additions. I also need to know what prosecutor and defense council mammal you are adding to your team officially. Keep in mind that they will be working directly with you on things and as such will need office space as well."

The four mammals saluted and quickly left his office after he turned off the privacy device. After a quick stop by Ben and getting the needed contact information for him to use for the task force. All four mammals, new badges, ID's, and uniform insignia in paw, headed out of the precinct, grins on all their faces. With silent agreement, they climbed in the car and made the quick trip to Therus for a late lunch.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Therus—Lunch.

Entering Therus, they couldn't wipe the grins off their faces. Clair looked up with a smile. "Hey y'all! What's got ya so happy?"

Nick chuckled. "Hey, Clair. We all just got some great news. We'll all have the usual burritos and if you drag Fin out here we'll share the great news."

Giving Nick a grin and a nod, Clair turned and walked into the kitchen. "Finny! Nick, Judy, and their friends are here again, and they have some news. Four burritos, and then get your tail out here cause I want to know what their news is!"

Fin's deep voice responded "Damn it woman, I'm right here. You don't need ta yell!"

"Says the mammal with ears as big as he is, but can't hear the dryer buzz."

"I ain't used to it! I still think we should be living in the van. It's cheaper."

"Finny, love. I am NOT living in that van. Not when we can actually afford an apartment. If it bothers you so much, maybe we can move to a different place? Now, get their burritos done and get out here. You have Terry and Fiona to cover for you. You are just in there messing around with recipes anyway."

"Fine. Fine! I'll have them done in a second!"

Judy yelled into the kitchen. "Terry! Fi! I'll tell you guys, but you have to promise not to say anything until you hear it on the chats. I get to tell mom and dad first!"

A new voice yelled from the back. "We all know your foxed knocked you up. That ain't news at this point."

"Not my news, Terry. If you are a good brother, I'll let you come out here and be part of me telling mom and dad."

A brown rabbit buck with gray splotches slightly shorter than Judy steps out. "Seriously, sis. What could possibly be such a big deal?"

Following him is a rabbit doe with chocolate brown fur and a single blotch of black on her nose. "Judy!" She pulls Judy into a hug, shoving past Terry to get to her. "It's been so long. Thank you for getting us this job. Finnick is an amazing chef. We've learned so much already."

Nick chuckled. "Don't let him hear that, it'll inflate his already exploded ego. What do you think keeps those ears inflated."

A deep bellow from the kitchen. "I heard that, Red. Watch it or I'll give you a veggie wrap with kale in it."

Nick shivered and his ears flicked. "Okay. Sorry bud."

A moment later Fin came out with 4 burritos. "Help me with these ya blasted bouncers!"

Terry grabbed two of the burritos lightening the load. "Sorry, boss. Though you really shouldn't call us that."

"Yeah. Yeah. "It's kinda insulting. Well, don't be slacking off." Setting his burritos on the table next to where Terry put his. Nick, Judy, Lizz and Mike quickly dug in. "Now… What's this news that is so damned important?"

Nick grinned and swallowed his bite. He then pulled out his badge and showed it to Fin. "Lieutenant Nick WildeHopps, Detective, at your service!"

Judy pulled out her's after setting down her burrito, which was already half gone. "Damn I was hungry. Lieutenant Judy HoppsWilde, Detective." Looking at Fi. "Sis! I made Detective!" The grin no her face threatening to stretch from ear to ear.

Fi grinned in response. "That's amazing, sis. Congratulations! You going to call mom now?"

"Once I finish eating. These kits are not letting me go long without food."

Fin nodded with a smile. "Congrats, Nick. That's actually pretty awesome for you."

Lizz and Mike pulled out their badges as well Mike speaking while Lizz ate. "We got promoted too. We're now Detectives as well, but since we're still Sergeants, we have to wear our uniforms, unless partnered with a more senior detective."

Lizz pointed to Nick and Judy as she finished her bite. "Bogo has swapped us for now, so I'm partnered with Judy and Mike and Nick are staying partners for now, so we get to wear civvies as well. Not just that, but now we can build up some case work while we finish our degrees so we can get promoted."

Clair grinned at the group. "Congratulations to all of you. We're doing really well ourselves. Fin and I have talked to that fox baker friend of yours, and we've got it worked out. He'll be picking up the space on the end for his storefront and the middle one for his actual bakery. The corner unit between Therus and where he will be is going to be turned into a sandwich and coffee shop where we both contribute. It is going to work out really well for both of us."

Terry grinned. "Yeah, and because you hooked us up, sis. Fi and I will be running the coffee shop, we have Germani and Lexi coming in next week to start training as cooks here for Therus, and Jakes construction company is going to be doing the fix-ups since he already did the upgrades for Gid's shop back home."

Judy grinned. "That's amazing." Just then Judy's phone rang. Looking at it, she frowned. "It's my parents. What is with them and their ability to know when to call?" Answering the line on muzzletime, and seeing both Bonnie and Stu. "Oh, hey! It's my parents!"

Bonnie smiled out of the screen. "Hey, Bun Bun. You have something you need to tell me?"

"Yes I have news, and I was going to call you in a few. But, how can you even know that I have news? I have had Terry and Fi in sight and neither of them have pulled out their phone."

Bonnie chuckled. "Oh, that's easy, dear. We follow that lovely cheetah that you work with. He posted that you and Nick both got a promotion?"

Judy laughed and glanced at Nick who was just shaking his head. "Well, I guess we didn't tell him not to spread that around. Yes, Nick and I have been promoted to Lieutenant and been made Detectives." Unable to suppress a squeal. "I'm a Detective, Mom! This is so awesome!"

"That's great dear. Does that mean your job will be safer?"

Judy shrugged. "Relatively speaking. We will be assigned cases and have to track down the criminals after the fact, gather evidence, and build the case against them. When we go to take down the criminals, there is always some risk, you know that. But, we will be far more likely to have backup."

Nick leaned over. "Don't worry, Bonnie. You know I will do all I can to keep her safe. Especially once the kits are born. They are going to need their mother."

Bonnie smiled. "I know you will, Nick."

Stu butted in. "Nick. I know we haven't been on the best of terms, but now that I have gotten over myself. Now that I have thought things through. I realize that you really are exactly who, and what, Judy needs to keep her safe. No other rabbit, hare, or other prey mammal could protect her the way you do."

"Thank you, Stu. I love her more than anything."

"I'm finally starting to understand that, and I am again sorry for how I have treated you."

Judy butted back in. "Thank you, dad. It's good to hear. Perhaps when we come down for the holidays you and Nick can spend some actual quality time, just don't play poker with him unless he is teaching you how to clean out your poker group."

Stu laughed. "Yeah. I watched him clean out several cops during that poker night. Before you saved that poor fox that had been framed. I think that is what finally, really, got through to me."

"That's great, Dad. Well. We need to go. I have food I need to finish. Turning the phone around. Fi, Terry, say hi."

Terry and Fi wave to their parents, Fi speaking. "Hey mom, dad. We're doing great, loving the new job and really learning a lot. Love you."

Judy turned her phone around. "Love you guys. Talk soon."

Bonnie and Stu both waved at the phone and then hung up. Judy looked to Nick with a smile. "Well. It really seems like Dad has changed."

Nick nodded. "Them coming out when they did seemed to have been the perfect thing. Now." Checking his watch. "We have an appointment, and I think you two do as well, no?" Nodding towards Mike and Lizz.

Mike checked his own watch and nodded. "Yep. We should head out. Don't want to keep the doctor waiting."

Fin, and the rest wished them well and to not be strangers. The group then climbed back into Lizz's car with Mike driving and headed to their mutual appointments. Thirty minutes later, they were parking in the lot of their specialist office.

Doctors Appointment - Monday Afternoon.

Getting out of the car, the four mammals enter the clinic that sits just inside the Rainforest district. Slipping into the front door just as the scheduled rain started falling. The kudo behind the desk looked up and smiled. "Ah. You're all here. Excellent! I will let doctor Reddilis know you are all here."

Judy grinned and waved as they moved towards the seats in the waiting room. "Thank you, Janice."

A few minutes later, the Red Panda, Doctor Reddilis, came out. "Oh, great. You are all here! Excellent! We're going to do some ultrasounds for both ladies today. I understand you are friends. Do you want to have your friends join as well?" With grins and nods all around, they agreed and followed the doctor into the back and into a larger exam room so everyone could fit. "We will do you first, Judy. Since the larger machine I will need for Lizz is currently in use next door."

Judy nodded. "Okay." With Nick's help, she gets up onto the taller table and lays down, pulling her shirt up and pushing her leggings down slightly.

The doctor smiled and pulled out the tube of gel, squirting it on the wand and on Judy's belly, causing Judy to hiss. "Ah! Cold." Then chuckling. "I was even prepared for it, and still."

The doctor nodded with a chuckle of her own. "Doesn't matter what you do, it's always cold." Turning the machine on, she placed the wand against Judy's belly where the gel was, and began to press gently and move it around. After a few moments, she managed to get some images up on the screen, she would hold still for a few moments, do something with her free paw, and then move the wand again, repeat.

Smiling down at Judy. "Okay. I can tell you how many, what sex, and some details, even show you some pictures if you want."

Looking over at Nick. "Do you want to know?"

Nick grinned. "I really do. But first, are they still healthy doc?"

The doctor nodded. "Based on the last blood work, and what I am seeing here, yes. So you do want to know?"

Nick nodded. "I do, but I leave the decision to Judy."

Judy laughed. "I do as well. Some ultrasound photos I can share with family would be amazing."

With a grin, the doctor moved her wand around again. "Okay, give me a few moments to get some good profile and muzzle shots. They're all in a good position today." After a few minutes the Doctor turned on the second monitor on the unit so that those in the other part of the room could see what she was looking at, while Judy and Nick shared her monitor. "So, here we have boy number one. Clearly taking after his father, but you can see the shorter muzzle and tail indicates the mothers influence. Boy number two clearly takes after mom, but you can see the longer tail and more angular, narrower and longer muzzle than a bunny showing daddys influence.

Next we have the first girl. Again, she takes after her pappa, while her sister." Switching the image. "Well, you'd think she was a bunny, if it were not for that longer tail. From what I can tell, you have two sets of twins. That is based off of their positioning and that they share the same placental sack. So your vulpine boy and lapin boy are twins, and your vulpine girl and lapin girl are also twins. This is something to be expected with such a diverse pairing as yours. The genetics just end up sorting out in such a way that you end up with twins, with one twin taking after the father and the other after the mother."

Nick grinned as he accepted the photos over onto his phone. "That's amazing." He quickly builds a text group with Judy, Bonnie, Stu, and his mom, as well as Clair and Ben. He then posts the photos with the caption of Two sets of twins! Two boys and two girls!

The immediate pings, about seven of them in the space of two seconds, indicated that the grandparents and potential godparents had seen it. A high pitched sound reached them a few moments later and made all of their ears twitch as Nick looked at Judy. "You don't think that was Ben?"

"Could be. I suppose we'll find out if he exploded…" Judy's phone rang and she glanced at it, seeing it was Bogo calling, she answered. "Hey, Chief."

They could all hear the answer as she held the phone away from her head and her ears fell. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO BEN? HE LET OUT A SQUEAL THAT BROKE WINDOWS AND THEN PASSED OUT WITH A GRIN ON HIS FACE." Nick quickly wrapped his paws around his muzzle to keep himself from laughing out loud. Judy swallowed hard as Lizz and Mike held each other and silently laughed into each other's shoulders. "WELL?"

Taking a deep breath, Judy brought the phone closer. "We just got sonogram photos of the kits and he was included in the text group."

A much quieter Bogo, but still easily heard. "Oh… And I wasn't included, why?"

"Because we knew Ben would show you and Patricia. Happy to add you to the group if you want."

"No, that's fine. I'll get them from him when he wakes up."

"Sounds good sir. Warning. Lizz is going to get them next and will be sending the pictures out, and Ben will be in the group."

The groan Bogo gave was very audible. "Oh gods. Okay. I'll have to take his phone. Thanks for the warning." He then hung up.

Judy looked up at the others. "Well, it seems that was Ben."

They all fell out laughing uncontrollably, the doctor slightly confused until Ben was explained to her, at which point she just grinned.

Once they got themselves under control, Judy and Lizz switched and the doctor got set up with the larger machine while Nick helped Judy clean the Gel from her belly fur. After working the machine and the wand for several minutes, doing her exam of the cubs, the doctor smiled. "Okay. They all look healthy as far as I can tell, and that matches with the last blood test you did. So. Same question. Do you want to know sex and number?"

Mike and Lizz nodded to each other. "Yes. And please, give us pics like you did Nick and Judy."

The doctor nodded. "Okay. Give me a few minutes to confirm and get some good images." About five minutes later, she started working the position of the wand with one paw and hitting a button on the console with the other. She then put away the wand and handed Lizz the wipes to clean up her fur. "Alright. So, there are three cubs in there. Two boys and a Girl. You are a bit closer, both of you being predators, so they all look much more like you. From what I can tell, the boys may be twins, but it is a bit harder to tell as all three share the same placenta, which while unusual, is not impossible."

"That's amazing!" Mike's tail wagging so fast his entire body was shaking. He leaned down and gave Lizz and passionate kiss.

Blinking a moment after the kiss that surprised her, Lizz grinned. "It is."

Turning on the other monitor on the unit, the doctor then started to show the photos. "As you can see, they all look to be a close to fifty fifty mix of both parents."

Nick leaned forward just as she forwarded to the next image. "Doc, can you go back one real quick?"

"Sure." Cycling back a photo.

Nick pointed at the other monitor. "Judy, am I just seeing things?"

Judy looked at where he was pointing. "No. I see that too. Doc, upper left corner. Is that one of the other two cubs?"

The doctor zoomed in and gasped. "Oh my goodness!" Reaching over she hit the intercom. "Delinn! I need you in number four!" Looking over the mammals. "It's possible you may have more cubs in there than the three."

Mike blinked and looked to Lizz, who blanched. "Doc?"

Pulling the machine back over to Lizz as a deer entered the room. "Well, we're just going to have to confirm. It may be that I am not able to see all of them because I'm simply not big enough to get to everything from this side. Delinn will therefore help me confirm."

The Deer looked over the mammals present. "Oh my goodness! Doctor, you didn't tell me your patients were these two couples! So it is true, they are together and having each others young?"

The doctor nodded. "They are. Wolf, Tiger hybrids and even more unique, Fox, rabbit hybrids. All healthy as far as I can tell. However, if you see here, there may be another cub in there." Pointing to Lizz. "That I wasn't able to see. So I need you to run the system and confirm."

The deer, Delinn grinned. "I'll be happy to!" A few moments later, Lizz's belly was covered in gel again and the Deer was manipulating a wand sized for her. "Okay. Lets see who we have in here." One hoof on the console, the other on the wand, Delinn moved around, taking photos, and redoing the exam. Once finished, she spent a few more moments capturing a few extra photos of the cubs and then shut the machine down. "Yep. There were two more in there than you thought. Hiding behind the three. They would have come as quite the surprise I'm sure when you gave birth. Could only see them from the one side, that's why I spent so much time over there, as the other three obscure them from other angles.

I'll defer to doctor Reddillis for confirmation, but they look like healthy hybrids to me, with a nice, even mix of traits from both parents. One male, one female." Displaying the pics on the monitors." Looking to doctor Reddillis. "The council is going to be thrilled with this."

Doctor Reddillis nodded, then her eyes going wide. "Yes. I'm sure they will be… Council of doctors who want to support and normalize inter-species couples."

Delinn nodded, her own eyes going wide. "Oh. Yes, right… That council."

All four parents eyes narrowed, even as Mike accepted the images onto his phone and posted them to the chat group he had started. All of their ears twitching again a few moments later as if a shrill shriek echoed across the city. Judy getting another text and laughed.

"Yeah, Bogo got called into a sudden meeting and wasn't able to get the phone away from Ben, so that was him again."

The four of them laughed for a good minute as Mike's phone pinged with responses from his parents, Lizz's mom, her brothers, and his. Finally as Lizz finished cleaning off the second application of gel, the phone pinged again. Ben had finally recovered and was gushing over how adorable they all were, just copy/pasting the messages between the Nick/Judy and Lizz/Mike threads.

Nick finally muted his phone. "It's going to take Ben a few hours to get it out of his system. Now, Doc. One more question for you. Any estimate on when our mates will be giving birth?"

Doctor Reddillis shook her head. "I'm afraid not. Best I can give you is anytime between now and two weeks from now. If we get past that, I'm going to be looking at inducing. Your bodies may not know when they need to take that step, so we may end up helping them along. But not to worry, you and your young are still quite safe."

Judy nodded. "Thank you doctor. That is reassuring."

"Hybrids always take longer to bake, to abuse a euphemism. However, they're healthy, you are healthy, and so the best strategy is to wait. Just make sure you call me the moment you do go into labor so I can meet you at the hospital. We don't want some general obstetrician that doesn't understand the needs of your unique births causing issues."

They all nodded and then headed out, making an appointment for the following Monday to check in. That time being a phone appointment, at which point they would decide on potential inducement and scheduling that.
