Two Worlds, Two Souls

Chapter 67: Watch Your Words

Angel's Point of View:

"Just for the record, even if we do have a plan, I don't like this." I scowled as Frisk and I were led by Sans toward the secret recording studio. We had agreed to Mettaton's stupid insistence on being shown to the underground. I wasn't a fan of the spotlight and I hated being displayed before others like a prize to be won or ogled at. I did that enough when I lived above the surface.

I kept a trusty bottle of echo flower essence at my side. After the emotional fallout I had only a day prior, the liquor was the only thing that kept my fear and extreme emotions at bay. It was only a matter of attempting to act like myself and not appear like I'd had too much of the brew. Sans warned me that if I needed any of it to try and take small sips. If I took too much at once, apparently, I fell over to exhaustion.

"Duly noted, Precious." Sans grinned from where he led us down to the secret employee entrance below Metatton's hotel. The normal recording studio for her shows were in Hotland, but due to the secrecy of it all, we were traveling to another of Mettaton's locations for this "interview". At least she was of understanding that we couldn't be seen by all of the underground just yet.

From what we were told yesterday, this would be a pre-recorded session that would be aired later that day after we had left the area. Though Sans had said that he managed to sneak in a camera on my shirt so that Undyne, Papyrus and Alphys could keep an eye on us. Sans would be with us so nothing crazy would happen. He had an emergency button to press if I showed him a signal to call in the guard to break us out. While Mettaton knew that Undyne was our ally, she didn't know about the other ten members of the guard were on our side.

I was really looking forward to meeting Vinnie's partner in the guard, Ryu.

Leading us down some decerped hallway, Sans knocked on a door at the end of it where an employee looked through the gap to us.

"Ey!" Sans grinned at him. "Mettaton's special guests are here to see her."

The employee looked past to the two of us and Frisk and I dropped the hoods of our cloaks before the employee's eyes widened. They stepped away just as we heard the deadbolt on the door be pulled away and the door squeaked open. An employee that was a cat like male led us inside while he causally smoked a cigarette.

"Sup, man." Sans grinned at the male. The cat man causally waved at us before shutting the door after we traveled through. He locked the door and stood against the wall.

"I'll lead you guys in, just give me two secs to finish my break."

"No problem, BP."

The male sank his shoulders. "Can't you not call me that? Especially in front of the human ladies?"

Frisk, the ever curious and devious child glanced to Sans with a grin. "What's it stand for?"

The cat sank his shoulders. "Come on man-"

Sans wiggled his boney brows at her. "Burger-Pants."

My sister was quick to fall into giggles at the mention of the name. I rolled my eyes at their pettiness before approaching the male. His gaze was downcast, he couldn't even look me in the eye.

"Frisk, stop that this instant. You too Sans."

Both of them snapped at attention at my tone. Facing me, the infuriated glare in my eyes was all they needed to see in order to know I was stressed and not pleased at all. I already reached for my bottle to take the first sip. They better cool it before I lost it.

Frisk knew the look well and paled slightly. "Yes Sis."

Sans only shrugged at me. "Sorry Angel."

With a sigh, I turned to our newest companion. "What's your name?"

He blinked up in surprise, showing me wide eyes that reminded me actually a lot of Whisk. "Uh... its Wher."

"Its nice to meet you, Wher. Thank you for meeting up with us." I held out my hand for him to shake as I stood before him. He stared at my hand for the longest time before he slowly reached up to shake my hand.

"Its... uh... nice to meet... you too?"

"I suppose you must work for Mettaton?"

"Yeah... I'm supposed to lead ya to the recording area. Mettaton is gettin' it ready with his most favored fans to watch."

"Wait, what?" I narrowed my eyes before turning to Sans. My hands twitched over the bottle for another sip that I attempted to resist since I'd just had one. "That wasn't part of the deal."

Sans of course kept his calm facade on his face, but I knew that he was irritated by the anger in his soul I felt. "Yeah... that wasn't what we agreed to... Shame on Mettaton."

Poor Wher stood next to us with a shiver to his figure in fear. I quickly tried to calm myself and turned back to him.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you, I know this isn't your fault." I sighed and attempted to hold back my anger. "Go ahead and finish up your cigarette and we'll head in. We need to speak with Mettaton before the show."

"O-of course..."

Poor Wher shook as he sucked harshly on his cancer stick. Quickly did I realize that it wasn't actually a cigarette, but rather some form of pot or some similarity in the underground. The smell bothered me, but it relaxed the male before he got a light haze to his eyes.

"Okay... let's go..."

We were led deeper into the recording area. I saw Sans checking his phone while we followed through on the manmade path. He was keeping in touch with Alphys and Undyne during all of this. They were closing in on the studio to bust in at any point to help us if we got overwhelmed.

I really owed them a lot once we were done with this mess...

The hallway we were led down opened up to a large room where five rows of chairs sat for the private audience. They all sat quietly or trying to get a look at the room labeled with Mettaton's name. We were led to another room that had "humans" listed on it and were led inside. Once in, we pulled off our cloaks and handed them over to Sans. We didn't trust Mettaton, Sans would hold our things until we were done with the insanity.

"Um... do you need a minute to change or get ready?" Wher questioned as we sat among the room and saw the flashy clothes that had been left.

"No, we're as dressed as we plan to be." I took a steadying breath as I was on the sofa. Frisk was next to me while Sans stood just to the side. While he and I didn't mind this Wher person, we didn't trust Mettaton to burst through the door in the middle of us doing anything. Not to mention, looking at the clothes that sat here, they looked like a kids' dress up party, like something Frisk would have done in the past.

True to my thoughts, Mettaton came bursting through the door only a short few minutes later. Still dressed in frilly and colorful clothes that surrounded her metallic body, she twirled before stopping before us.

"Ah! Darlings! You made it!" Mettaton approached us, showing a large smile on her screen before twirling again, before standing before her employee. I could hear her gears whirling before her screen became red. "I can smell the smoke on you, you stupid cat! Were you smoking on the job again?!"

"If he was, I didn't see it." Frisk instantly said to the robot, cutting her off before she could say more.

"I didn't see him smoking anything either." I jutted into the conversation before Mettaton could disregard my sister's words. "There were others smoking on our way here, perhaps it got caught in his clothes?"

Mettaton sucked in a deep breath before she backed away from her employee. "Fine, it would see that you have some souls looking out for you Burgerpants. Keep your nose in line or you will be in trouble again."

I raised an eye brow at the behavior that Mettaton was showing. Clearly the woman didn't sense the anger or distrust from any of us. I quickly glanced over at Frisk to actually see the girl secretly video-tapping the exchange between them. Poor Wher shivered under the gaze of his boss while she turned away and flashed us a bright smile. Her little popular puppets for the night.

I carefully took another sip when I felt my fingers twitch.

"Anyway darlings! Are you ready to go?"

"I thought you said that no one was supposed to be here besides your crew to record us?" Frisk was quick to voice her aggression in place of me while I got myself sorted. If I took a sip, she would take over until I was calm enough to answer. I always needed a minute or so.

"Whatever do you mean, darling?"

The idiot was playing dumb.

"The group of people you have out there! I know they're not part of your work!" My sister nearly snarled at the woman. "You think we couldn't see them? We only agreed because you said it would be private! You lied! We're not going to stay if they are!"

"Oh! Those are my special... production crew! They mimic an audience to help with stage fright! I thought it would help you!"

"You really think I'm going to buy that bullshit?"

Normally I'd chastise her for using such foul language. However, in those moments. I thought it was appropriate.

"Seriously? You really think we're going out before all those people? Get rid of them or we need do the recording in a separate room. Or else!"

"Or else what?" I raised an eye brow at the tone that Mettaton used, putting her hands to her hips.

"Or else we'll leave and you won't have your interview! You think we can't?"

"While I don't doubt you could walk out of here, your sister has hardly said a word." Mettaton showed a sly smile on her screen. "Perhaps she wishes to stay?"

"No, I do not with any kind of crowd out there." I narrowed my eyes at the female. I'd had the few moments I needed to function. "Forgive me for not being the most pleasant mood. Frisk knew that I wasn't feeling well and spoke for me. And she's right. If those people are there to watch us when you clearly told us it was to be a private interview, then we're leaving. Sans?"

The skeleton lifted himself from his seat and walked over to us, still the ever-present grin on his face when he was feeling not so pleasant as he looked.

"W-wait!" Mettaton jumped before us. With arms waving wildly, she blocked out path. "Okay! I'll... I'll do something about the crowd so they're gone. Don't leave!"

I narrowed my eyes at her. "You have five minutes."

With a frightful look to her eye, Mettaton turned on wheel and rushed from the room. Wher actually looked as he had been slapped with how quickly she rushed out of the room.

"What the hell..."

"I suppose that she's never been told off like that before." I sighed and leaned back in the seat I was in. Turning to my sister I patted her shoulder. "Thanks, Frisky."

"I see why you didn't wanna come Sis. She's pushy and rude..." Frisk pouted from her spot beside me. A heated breath came from her as she deflated a bit. "What's her problem? We don't need her. We can leave at any point."

"She's probably hopin' that ya girls get dragged inta the spotlight and get addicted or somethin'." Sans shrugged from where he stood just before us. "Just keep focused and we'll be outta here soon."

In the meantime as we waited, I turned to poor Wher who stood in the corner. "Wher? Is she always like that to you?"

"N-no! The b-boss is great!"

An entirely frightful looking grin appeared on his face as he tried to save face for his boss. It was entirely too obvious that he was pushed around constantly from the way he instantly shrunk away from her in a moment's notice of her yelling. That was abusing her power as a leader of her company.

"Okay." The cat seemed to sigh and relax a bit turning away from us for only a second. I quickly leaned over by my sister's ear. "Did you get that recorded?"

She flashed me a grin and nodded, knowing better then to speak at the moment when Wher turned back. Frisk instantly pretended she was showing me something with her phone to fool the poor male while Sans watched, returned to the chair he was in.

We didn't have to wait long before Mettaton returned. The robot female returned to the room in record time with a form of sweat or moisture build up on her form. She wiped it away quickly before composing herself before us.

"Alright Darlings! The room is vacant! Sans shall be your only audience!"

"Very well then." With one problem taken care of, I rose from my seat to follow said robot. Frisk was quick to my side and Sans led up the as the last of us. "Where do you wish for us to be?"

"Right this way, darlings!" Mettaton rushed out into the now vacant room with a single stage for Frisk and I. The crew ran around with three cameras to film us. It appeared as if we would be sitting across from Mettaton with a table between us. "You two will sit here while I'll be sitting across from you on the other side. Sans, you can sit right there in the front row darling!"

Our friend nodded and teleported himself to said spot. He watched with a critical eye, but for those who didn't know him as well as others, he just seemed to be causally enjoying all the shit that was going on.

I couldn't think he actually was. He knew how stressed I was. I had fucking liquor on me to calm me down and keep me from lashing out…
Just as soon as we had taken our seats did the tacky music that Mettaton played during all of her shoes blast over the loud speakers. It echoed off the walls and production I could see was running around quickly to hand us microphones to speak into. Frisk and I both watched as the star of the underground began to look into the camera and prepare her beginning of the show.

"Hello my darlings! And welcome to a special episode of 'Talks with Mettaton'!" The robot danced before the camera and the crew kept their three cameras on them, not yet focusing on ourselves. "And today! We have such an amazing episode for you all! I have two special surprises! One of them was listed in last episode that I was going to try and find the two human girls that were rumored to live in Snowdin! And guess what, my beauties? I found them! They are interviewing with me today! In a private interview!"

The music kept going and fake clapping could be heard as a sound over due to no audience being there. I could only assume that was a blow to Mettaton's ego, but I wouldn't let her push me.

"Now then, also to go with such an amazing episode, I have some secret that I haven't shown yet to anyone! My human resembling form! The great Doctor Alphys has been working on it for the last two years and it is finally complete! Are you all ready to see it?"

Again, cheering was blasted from a sound board. I took and glanced at Frisk who had her face scrunched up at the sight of Mettaton wrapping herself up in what fake popularity she had.

"I really think this is stupid Angel…"

"This is why I didn't want to come here…"

"Ready darlings?" With a wave of Mettaton's hand, misty smoke was introduced to the area around Mettaton to show a button be flipped on her metallic body and the form began to morph and change. From the body came an actual human resembling form. I even saw some sort of wig or hair on her head. I actually was a bit surprised by that as I glanced through the mist. Frisk and I watched on hesitantly with Sans only the short distance away in case we needed anything.

As the smoke cleared away, I saw that a metallic form was there that resembled a human shape, but would never pass as a human in general. Her so called 'skin' looked metallic, arms and legs shined under the glow of the stage light with narrow fingers that reminded me of a female body. I could see defined hips as well with black leggings and pink heeled boots on the lower half.

However, as I glanced upward, the body form changed. A broad chest was presented, much like a male. With both silver and pink plating over them that led to a silver looking face. It was gender neutral, Mettaton's face could be either male or female. The hair the slipped down over her face was wavy and black, cut off just below her chin.

Was that for ratings? To be partnered or paired with either gender?

I knew we should have never done this…

Another sip was taken from my bottle.

"I hope you all like my new form! I was trying my best to make things as compatible and comfortable for our human friends! I hope you all enjoy! And now, onto our introductions!" Mettaton stepped backward to allow the cameras to see us for the first time, I could only imagine the looks on people's faces as they saw us for the first time if they'd never seen a human before. Granted… many of those in the underground knew of us. We were getting better about being seen around.

"Please! All of you welcome Angel and Frisk the humans to our world!"

More clapping could be heard and it took all that I had in me to place a smile on my face and wave to the camera. My sister tried to be the better of the two of us and give a lot more energy, calling out "hi" to the camera and waving much more energetically than myself.

"Darlings, it's wonderful to have you here on my show! Thank you for accepting my invitation."

"We appreciate the opportunity, and thank you for keeping this private." I kept my words slow and clear. There were a few sips of echo flower essence in me already, I had to keep up the appearance and make sure I didn't sound drunk. "We're still not accepted by the entire underground yet. We want this to be as easy and safe for everyone involved."

"Yes, yes. Of course, Darling." Mettaton showed a sly grin, much more noticeable in this form and something that made me nervous. "Now, myself and our lovely audience have sent in questions ahead of time to ask you. I hope you don't mind if after we ask you some basic questions, perhaps we could ask those as well?"

"Long as they're not too personal." Frisk said quickly, swinging her legs under her chair and leaning forward a bit. Then she looked over at me in question. "Right Angel?"

"Yes Frisk, that's right."

"Alright Darlings, the first question I have for you is how did you end up in the underground?"

"Hiking trip gone wrong, we'd fallen into the mountain when part of the cliff we were walking on fell below us."

Of course, we weren't going to tell them the real reason we fell. It was none of their business.

"Yeah! Angel dove in to save me when I fell in." My sister turned to me with a big grin. "Thanks Sis."

I carefully ruffled her hair, that moment brining some calm to the storm inside me. "Of course. I was going to save you, you nut."

"Oh!" Mettaton nearly fell out of her seat. "The sisterly love! It's so precious! Aren't they folks?"

My sister giggled at the robot, no doubt taking in some of the energy. But she knew better than to get too wrapped up into it. This was just a show. "Thank you!"

"Now girls, its rumored that the two of you tend to stick closer to the Snowdin region, is that true?"

"We have a home there, yes." I nodded my head slowly. "We've become friends with the town and try to involve ourselves to assist when we can. We've been slowly integrating ourselves for quite a while now."

That perked the woman's interest. "How long have you ladies been here?"

"Um… like a year?" Frisk turned to me for confirmation.

I nodded. "It was a year in July."

The woman gasped. "You've been here so long?! And I've only heard about you recently?!"

"We've been careful with who we revealed ourselves to as to not frighten anyone and slowly attempt to gain their friendship." I paused before reaching over to take Frisk's hand in my own. My sister didn't even fight me as I did. "We understand that there are many monsters who are still afraid or mad at our kind. Of course, I understand that. Many of our people were cruel enough to imprison you all down here, we know that would leave a bitter taste in anyone's mouth. We didn't want anyone to think that we didn't care or didn't realize that. Perhaps after this interview more people will be a bit more accepting of us? That's what we're hoping for."

"Such a kind thing you both are doing… so selfless!" Mettaton wiped a fake tear from her eyes. There was no way it was real, I'm sure it was all an act. "Such a sweet thing you're both doing!"

"I guess…" Frisk shrugged, not sure how to reply.

"Alright, next question. This was actually one of my audience members who wanted me to ask you. What is a normal day like for the two of you?"

"Well… I have a job that allows me to work from home, so I'm able to work while teaching Frisk." I commented vaguely. "Due to the before mentioned circumstances, she can't go to a typical school just yet. But I'm hoping one day she can. Until them, I'm her teacher."

"Really?" Mettaton seemed intrigued by that before turning to my sister. "And what do you think of that Frisk?"

"I mean, we've been doing it like that for so long, its normal." She shrugged her shoulders. "I'd like to go to public school though, make friends and hang out with them besides after school. But it's not safe just yet. So, Angel does all she can to make it up to me, she's like a mom and a best friend."

I smirked at her. "Even when I get mad at you when you eat too many sweets?"

She pouted at me.

"Oh my! You're such a protective older sister!" Mettaton giggled. "With someone like you around, who needs others?"

"Perhaps I'm all she needs, but I know she needs to be around other children her age to grow." I rubbed my fingers over hers to try and keep myself calm and from taking another sip. "I want her to have the best chance to grow, and I know one day we'll be there. We just have to be patient."

"Oh..." Mettaton turned to the camera for a brief moment as she sobbed, taking a tissue to wipe away the tears that fell. "What a caring sister you are! Don't you all think so?"

And it was at that moment that one of the producers waved at Mettaton with a hand signal of some sort.

"And my beauties! That's it for the first half of the show! Stay tuned after the commercial break for more information about our lovely human girls that stumbled into our world!"

Later that Day:

"Yer holdin' up great." Sans tried to encourage me once we were away from Mettaton. We were back in our dressing room at the moment, allowed a moment to breathe. It was a break for everyone. From what Frisk had caught wind of while she was roaming about a few minutes ago, that flashy entrance of Mettaton's took a lot of energy out of her new body, so it needed to charge. It gave us a moment to compose ourselves. Frisk was fine, but I was a mess.

I couldn't wait to go back home. I hated this.

And perhaps I would put away that entire bottle so I could sleep…

The door to our room squeaked open and Frisk snuck her body back inside. She her faced was a strange combination of frightened and as if she had won the jackpot. She must have seen something she shouldn't have seen…

"Frisk?" I blinked at her before she tripped over her own two feet to shove her phone into Sans' hands.

"Video! Mettaton! Wher! Scream!"

She panted while she tried to get out the words. She bent over her knees, unable to speak any more. In her moment of rest, Sans went into the phone of the girl and looked at the most recent thing she was on. His eye sockets widened in shock before he looked back at Frisk.

"Damn Kiddo, ya got hella lucky with this one." Sans snickered. "I'll send it ta Al ta add it our finale."

I sighed. "I don't want to know."

"Don't worry Sis, it's a good thing." My sister stuck out her chest proudly. "I'm helping someone!"

"I'm sure you are. Just… don't tell me about it right now."

Sans chuckled lightly, and I could feel the light humor in his soul. It was nice to feel after all the hesitation and anger in today. "Don't worry Precious. We got it."

I nodded my head and sat back down in my chair. Even though I'd hardly done anything that day, I felt emotionally exhausted. I kept looking around every corner for if something bad was going to happen, and I kept sipping on the echo flower essence.

And I had too much in my system.

The world was becoming quite dizzy, even as I sat down my world didn't stop moving. Sans and Frisk looked like they were moving away from me, no matter how many times I blinked to try and bring my focus back to center. My stomach wasn't too bothered, but I worried my speech would be affected.

I was just too rattled…

"Sans?" My boney friend and my sister stopped what they were doing when they looked at me again with a hand to my head. "I think I had too much…"

His socket's widened and he raced to grab my bottle. Opening it, I can only assume he cursed when he saw how little of the liquid he'd given me was left. "Shit… ya went through more than I planned on Precious. How you feelin'?"

"Not good…" I grabbed his arm and leaned toward him a bit. "Everything's spinning…"

"Yeah… ya hit yer limit." Sans' boney fingers I felt against my chin as he pulled my head up to face him. I couldn't stop blinking and he had to be the one to hold my head up. "Gotta take ya home."

"But… but Frisk…"

"I'll be okay Angel. Sans and I have a plan, remember?" Frisk bound over to me to help Sans as he lifted me with his magic. "I've got this. We'll get Mettaton to leave us alone for good and help out a few other people along the way. You go rest, okay? Papy will keep you company."

A slow breath of air escaped me. "…okay."

There was a pull on my soul, and that only made the dizziness worse. I latched my arms onto Sans and stumbled, even as he held me. I felt careful hands settle under my legs and behind my back to carry me carefully, and most likely pass me off to Papyrus.

A flash of blue came over my vision and just like that, I was home. The smells, the colors, everything put me much more at easy as soon as I was in the environment.

"Pap! Ya around?"

"Sans?" Papyrus came over quickly from wherever he was, my eyes couldn't let me focus. Why was it still so spiny? "You're home early brother, is everything alri-oh my goodness! Angel?!"

"She had too much of the liquor. She ain't fit ta finish the interview." I felt Sans shift below me. "Frisk is gonna take over and I gotta rush back. Pap, can ya take her?"

"Of course." Another set of arms came under my body and I felt myself be pulled from Sans. My hands released his coat before grabbing onto Papyrus' shirt. Anything to ground me while the world just… why wouldn't it stop moving?

"Feel better, Precious. See ya Pap." I could barely see another flash of blue before we were alone.

"Let me set you down Angel. I'll fetch you some soup I was making and some biscuits. That should help pass along the alcohol."

I couldn't even answer him. I felt so tired that before he'd even set me down, I was asleep in the comfort of home.

Frisk's Point of View:

Sans came back within a few minutes of dropping off my sister with Papyrus. He would take good care of her while we were taking care of getting rid of the annoying robot.

We'd been planning for most of the night to take care of Mettaton. We wanted to take the stress off of Angel's shoulders. I knew she wasn't feeling well, emotionally anyway. And the added stress of Mettaton forcing her to reveal herself to the entire underground didn't exactly help in the grand scheme of things. She drank too much echo flower liquor and ended up not feeling well.

Now I was on my own before the camera.

Poor Wher got yelled at really badly by Mettaton earlier before my sister left. The poor guy was just helping some of the other production people with moving some stuff around. We told Wher earlier that if there was anything else he needed to do, he didn't have to focus on us. He seemed happy about that so he could get a few other things done, but apparently that's not what Mettaton wanted. She screamed at him for leaving our sides, even as the poor cat man tried to explain that we had told him it was okay.

I made sure to record that conversation. Sans had it send to Alphys so she could incorporate as a part of her plan. With what we had going down, Mettaton probably wouldn't figure out it was us for a while, and even if she did, she wouldn't want to speak with us since it would mean we'd make her life miserable again.

"Welcome back beauties!" Mettaton called out as I sat there myself before her. Sans was in the small area before the stage, watching me. We were just waiting for the right time to strike. If she respected what we had told her and she didn't ask any personal questions or push the issue when I didn't want to talk, then we wouldn't do it.

But Sans guessed that she would.

And Sans was always right.

"Unfortunately, poor Angel had to leave our studio due to not feeling too well after the first half. She has gone home to rest, but young Frisk has remained to finish up with the questions from all of you!"

"Sorry about that Mettaton, Sis hated to leave." I commented sweetly to the robot, even if I was infuriated at her for making my sister stressed. "She really wanted to power through it, but she couldn't in the end. A friend of ours helped her home and will take care of her until I get back home."

"Oh, you poor thing! So sweet and taking care of your beloved older sister!" Mettaton threw on a dramatic emotion to capture her audience while I calmly looked at her. But then her look turned a bit… creepy. "But…"

I tilted my head at her in confusion, but I saw her look. "But?"

"We can ask the more serious questions with her not here!"

It was as if she was ignoring the fact that Sans was right there watching us, or that my sister would see this later. I struggled to not show any signs of knowing or irritation before just smiling at her.
"What is it that you wanted to ask me?"

I tried to ask in my most Angel like voice, the sickly sweet that sounded kind but there was trouble brewing blow it. I was just waiting for Mettaton to do something stupid.

"One of our viewers asked a bit more serious question, revolving around a steamy relationship between your sister and another monster in the underground." Mettaton smirked at that. "Do you know anything about that or have any comments?"

I was actually not expecting that…

As much as I wanted to say everything under the sun and reveal Sans and Angel's relationship to the world, I knew better than that. It wasn't fair to them.

Plus, I didn't like Mettaton.

"Steamy relationship? What are you talking about?" I blinked at her in confusion. "My sister doesn't like anyone. She spends too much time with me for that. Where did you hear that from?"

Mettaton looked stunned by the information I just placed before her. Her face was stunned. She was not expecting that answer from me. Did she honestly think I'd rat out my sister?

I hated her even more…

"Oh… well, my apologies." Mettaton actually had the decency to look ashamed of asking that question. It took her a few moments to recover before she filtered through her cards, most of them probably about my sister and Sans. "Then perhaps we could talk about this instead? One listener actually wanted to know if they could send you some baked goods they made."

"Oh, that was nice of them." I smiled sweetly at her. "Can they send them here? Or your studio?"

Mettaton blinked. "What do you mean? Wouldn't it make more sense to tell them where you live?"

"I'm not supposed to give out our address. Sis said so, so that anyone who wants to hurt or harass us can't find us."

I wasn't about to give out my address out on nationwide television…

"Oh… yes… it wouldn't be good to give your address, that makes sense."

Strike two, Mettaton…

"Oh, let me try this question!" Mettaton paused as she pulled another card from her stack. "Tell me Frisk, a listener wanted to know if you had anything you wanted to vent about with your life, or your family that you think is unfair?"

"Vent, like when I'm mad?" I blinked at her, pretending to not know what she was talking about. "But I'm not mad?"

Mettaton almost seemed to smirk as she thought she'd finally gotten a question I would answer. "But has your sister ever frustrated you before? Or anything about your situation? Sometimes its relieving to just… let it out."

"Well… yeah, of course."

"You can vent those here! We… or I, can be a great listener if need be."

"But I told, I don't have anything to be mad about." I narrowed my eyes at her, pretending like I had 'figured it out'. "You want me to say bad stuff about my sister and trash talk her on TV?"

Mettaton instantly began to back pedal. True sweat protruding from her brow. "No, no! That's not what I mean!"

"Well it certainly came across like that! You've been trying to take advantage of the fact that I'm here alone now without Angel since she's not feeling good to ask all these rude questions! Her love life, our personal address, and then to trash talk her?" With a glare to the robot, I crossed my arms and legs before sitting back in my chair. "I'm not answering any other questions."

The dying sound that came out of Mettaton was hilarious, I had to keep myself from laughing at her mortified face. She wasn't expecting that. Her hands began to twitch as she sat across from me, cards falling from her hands. As I looked at them all, they actually were blank. None of them were written on, just a prop to convince me they were made by people.

It was in those same moments that a flash appeared and a projector screen appeared on the wall behind us. Mettaton blinked in surprise, watching it intently before I followed suit.

I had to keep up the act after all.

Just before Mettaton could ask who started that up, an image appeared on the screen. One of the robot in her old body breaking and entering into Alphys' lab to steal the footage of us. The video showed her breaking into the building when the good doctor wasn't there and also when she cackled at herself when she copied over the footage and stored the disk in her body.

I faked a gasp and a surprised look. "You STOLE from someone!? You BROKE into their house?!"

"No!" Mettaton screeched out. "I would never!"

"Then what the hell is that?!"

Then the next footage appeared of Mettaton berating her employee on national TV. Poor Wher was harassed, yelled at and even hit. I didn't notice it with his rich fur covering most likely whatever wounds Mettaton gave him.

"You're ABUSING him?! How could you? The kitty man! Poor Wher!"

And that was when I flew from my chair to find the poor guy.

While I was gone from my chair and out of the picture, I could hear the gears in Mettaton's body going wild and grinding in retaliation. It took all of three seconds for her to explode.

"WHO THE HELL PUT THAT UP THERE?!"

Then the building shook.

The royal guard was already there.

"Wher!" I found the guy at the back hidden behind as many people as he could. "Come on! We gotta go!"

"Wha-" The man was so stunned as I grabbed his hand and yanked him up into a standing position. "What?"

"Come on! We're leaving before the royal guard takes this place down!" He still couldn't comprehend and I couldn't get him to move. "Sans!"

My holler grabbed the skeleton in blue's attention and he teleported to me. With a wide grin, he rubbed the top of my head.

"Damn great job, Kiddo. Knew there was a reason I called ya the mighty terror." Before anything else could happen, he latched his hands onto both of us. "Now let's get the hell outta here."

We were gone in a flash of blue light, no longer in the studio and taking the poor abused cat man with us.

Witch's Note:

Okay, wow! What a chapter! But I know some of you have mixed feelings about this section of the story and that's more then fine. This is the one that I was most worried for posting. Mettaton's section was written so differently than the way I've seem 'her' written in the past, so I'm sure it feels weird at the same time as moves very quickly. The pacing is a tad different due to the nature of Mettaton in this story and the way I perceived her. As much as I love the way some people portray her, I felt I had to have someone at least be not so friendly and perhaps even against the girls that wasn't an OC that I'd made up, but an actual main character. I hope you all can understand and perhaps forgive me for that if perhaps this isn't how you pictured Mettaton.

Oh! Before I forget, Mystic Girl is feeling better and is back! Anything you wanna say to the crowd Mystic?

Mystic Girl: I'm baaaaacccccckkkk bitches!

Me: Oh God…

But anyway, enough of my rambling! Let's move onto reviews!

MysticBoywastaken: You and your sister feel the same way! And as for the food… you have Mystic Girl and I a bit more intrigued, but we need more info. We're both hard core sweet tooth foodies at heart. Tell us more, please!

Mystic Girl: Yeah, I seriously have to hear about this! Sorry, but the spinach and liver cookies? That was a stretch I'm afraid, brother…

Dasansi: Its okay to be honest with us. Don't worry if the comment feels half assed or anything. Like I noted above, this was the only section of the story I was really worried for, and even reading it to Mystic Girl for the first time she'd shown some hesitation as well.

"Mystic Girl: Yeah, I couldn't quite put my finger on it like you did, but it did feel… different… I had to point it out to Halloween so she'd be aware for what could happen with you guys.

Me: Exactly. And there's been a few minor editing here and there, but its mostly remained the same. So please, continue to be honest with us. Its okay, the constructive criticism is helpful. Neither of us mind.

Thechaosmaster: Oh Chaos! So glad you liked the chapter, but hold your horses for me if you could. Asgore will get his chapters soon enough. I think you'll like them a lot! But I refuse to give out any hints! At least not yet… XD

Mystic Girl: Oh come on you sorry excuse for-

Me: Mystic, I'm glad you're feeling better and everything, but you're the reason that hints get given out.

Mystic Girl: EXCUSE ME?!

Me: (Ignoring her and returning to your response.) And there's no reason to be scared! But you do have to be understanding in the fact that you could gather a lot of both positive and negative attention to your story. It comes with putting yourself out there. When I first started writing, I had a reviewer who constantly came to my story just to say it was garbage. They were an anonymous reviewer, so there was little I could do. I couldn't report them since there was no way to track them. And if I deleted their post, they just would place it again. But keep in mind this happened many years ago during some of the first stories I'd written when I was much younger, tender, and not knowing what could happen.

Even this lovely story that you all know and love has gotten a few small comments of negativity. People who sadly weren't kind enough to just not say anything. But don't let that get to you. Many times its just they have nothing better to do but be a bully. Ignore them, you'll know the people that matter when you see their reviews. Okay?

Oh! And did you see I reviewed your story? I just left a final review before I posted this chapter! I hope those detailed reviews helped! And I'm a little pissed with myself in the last review that I didn't react to Sans finding out about Flowey. Sorry about that. I was a bit all over the place and forgot to write about it!

RoseCentury: You go girl! Tell your hubby to get all that candy and sweets! You and the babies need it! Or at least some of it. Staying healthy is good, but you need your cheat days every now and then. I know I cheat plenty…

Mystic Girl: Cheating isn't bad every now and then! I give you days to cheat!

Me: Yes, I know that. Most of those cheat days are during the summer when I work my ass off and can get away with it. Its been a hard winter…

Wow… what a day! I'm gonna go get some rest folks. It's been a tough week for me with my own medical issues and that of my grandfather's. I'm gonna try and get back to work on the second story. I still have a lot of chapters to write… Love all of you and see you next week!
