Hey guys. So, we're here with the final chapter of season two and holy shit this took a lot longer than the first one did. So, a couple things that I'm going to say at the end so for now, enjoy.
There were few things Ezra enjoyed more than moments alone with Sabine. Yes, of course a big part of that is have privacy to express their love for each other but it was more than that. It was just being her presence that made Ezra feel a lot better about everything and if he was being honest with himself, having so little time together alone lately was making this moment all the better.
It never occurred to him before because he and Sabine have never really been separated for a prolonged period of time. Which might be why they were acting so desperately, making what is usually a fun and pleasurable moment seem so... savage.
There was a wet slapping sound echoing through the ship followed by tough grunting and high-pitched moaning. Ezra stood at the foot of the bed, completely naked, his hands gripping the bent hips of Sabine as she lay standing on all fours on the bed. This was fucking Ezra realized, they weren't making love like they usually do, they weren't even having sex, this was just plain fucking. The bed mattress was certainly being put to the test as Sabine was continuously being pushed down. Beads of sweat were running down both their bodies as they moved, acting on pure instinct he raised his arm applied a hard spank right on her right cheek "AAHH" she let out a small yelp but didn't even stop moving.
Still thrusting forward, he reached forward and grabbed her arms and pulled them backwards, the only thing keeping her from collapsing onto the bed was him holding her arms, her breasts bouncing with each thrust. Pulling her backwards towards him but the action caused her knees to slip off the bed and his manhood slipped out of her. Neither spoke, they just moved. Sabine turned around to face him and with shaking legs she jumped into his arms, he just ignored the bed and turned around with her in his arms.
"Gah!" she snarled as he slammed her back into the wall of the ship. Before she could even protest however he entered her again with a gasp. He lowered both his hands and cupped her cheeks keeping her up, she wasn't going to let me get away with everything though. Wrapping both arms around his neck, she pulled him in towards her and when he was close enough she latched her lips onto his neck and sucked, practically biting his neck causing a grunt of pain from him. But neither of them stopped, not for a moment "Give it to me" she snarled into his ear, their sweaty heads rubbing off on each other "give it to me, cum for me" Ezra's response to that was an increase grunting "yes, yes, Harder, harder..." her legs seized "AAAAHHHH!" she screamed as she felt the built-up tension release in orgasmic bless when she felt his cum fill her.
It seemed that spent up the last of Ezra's energy as his legs buckled and both of them fell to the cold metal ground of the Tempest. Though Sabine landed on top of him, she slowly rolled off and they both lay there, staring at the ceiling panting for breath "wow" he said.
Beside him, Sabine could only slowly nod "why... why was that so..." she failed to find the words.
"Maybe because we waited so long?" he guessed turning his head to look at her "I mean Sabine, since I fell out with Kanan. We've spent a lot of time apart and then when Able joined the group..." he tried to explain but trailed off when he had to take a couple of deep breaths and he assumed she got the point.
"Huh, I guess ever since we started having sex. We haven't really... stopped" she said with a wave of a hand, the palm landing on her slim stomach.
"It makes sense I guess" turning on his side, he turned to face his loved. Sabine herself found a smile appearing on her face "I really have missed you" he said.
Reaching out a hand she cupped his cheek and gave a gentle caress "you too" leaning up she gave him another kiss though this time it was much gentler, though when they both pulled away a look of almost concerned awkwardness appeared on her face "we both really need a shower" she said.
He pulled back for a moment before looking down at their bodies, they were both drenched in sweat and to be honest still... leaking. He looked back up to her "the only functional showers are on the command ship and the Ghost"
Laying her head back on the cold metal floor Sabine continued "so, how do we get over there without telling everyone who looks at us what we've been doing?" she asked, out loud more then to him.
Though before he could answer, the sound of someone hailing the ship was heard. Sitting up, Ezra turned to the pilot's chair and a small red light could be seen on the right of the right chair. Standing up not even trying to cover his modesty and Sabine made no move to hide the smirk on her face as she starred at his rear. Pushing the button and expecting the call "this is the Tempest"
"Tempest, this is Phoenix home" Sato's voice came in through the ship's speakers "where are you? The Ghost came back immediately but Captain Syndulla said you and lieutenant Wren stayed behind. Where are you?" he asked.
The sound of grunting was heard and Ezra turned around to see Sabine starting to get up "the spiders did some damage the Tempests thrusters, we had to land in order to fix it" he lied as she landed on the bed, her back resting against the headboard.
"Mark your location, I'll send a crew of mechanics to help" ever the good commander said.
"No don't" he said back quickly but calmly "the damage isn't bad and me and Sabine are good mechanics, we'll have it sorted in a few hours. Besides, it's been too long since we had some time to ourselves. We'll be back at base soon" he said, smirking to Sabine who couldn't help but smile back. Though it was more of a smirk, a certain smirk that he loved so much. Placing one hand on the top, she raised one leg and moved the other aside giving him a great view of her.
"...I understand" Sato said "very well, I'll leave you to it, but I want you back by sunup"
"Roger that sir" he said before hanging up the com. Once done he slowly started to walk towards her "round two already?" he asked.
"Different this time" she said as he hit the edge of the bed and started walk on his knees towards her "we've done the hot and heavy" grabbing her ankle he pulled her towards him, when she was right underneath him he fell forwards, his hands landing on either side of her head "right now" she reached up and cupped his cheek "just love me" she said.
"Sabine" he leaned down and gently kissed her "I don't think I'll ever be able to say no that"
There was a darkness around him, illuminated only by the quick bright lights of blaster fire. His lungs where heaving as he breathed, tasting blood in his mouth. His legs were shaking as he stumbled forwards, his feet almost sinking into the mud underneath him. He couldn't even hear himself think as all around him was the sound of screaming, blaster fire, the quaking of heavy machinery.
With blurry vision, he looked across the ground and saw his sabre almost buried in the ground already. Reaching out with his hand the force came to his aid and his weapon flew into his hand, he activates the purple blade just in time to block a blaster bolt that would have hit his face.
Looking forward, he was met with an imposing sight. The sky was grey as heavy rain smashed the ground around him, nearly a dozen star ships fought in the skies. Directly in front of him, an imposing black temple with glowing red outlines was waiting. There must have been hundreds of people in full armour manning its walls but that didn't matter. None of it mattered, this war is going to end today, one way or another. Blocking another bolt, he turned around to look behind him, a sinister smile came onto his face.
He could gaze upon a sea of bodies that would stand with him. Hundreds of different coloured light sabres waved through the air, even more blaster bolts flew over his head and impacted different points of the temple and above them all where dozens of different vehicles and walkers delivered even more damage. Raising my own sabre above my head, I let out a primal roar. I didn't know if anyone could hear me above all the carnage, or even if it was the force itself but many heads turned to face me.
Using the force as my power, I raised my arm out just in time to grab an enemy fighter that strayed too close to the ground. Under my power, the smaller ship froze mid-air and began to collapse in on itself. It might have been the pilot inside the ship that screamed or it could have been someone right next to me. But it didn't matter, he turned around and threw what was left of broken ship at the temple and it crashed against the stairs in a ball of fire.
Without another word I ran forward, blocking bolts of different colours as I did so. When someone got close to me, I swung my weapon, though I had to aim for joints due to the armour plates being too strong for a sabre to get through. When others where more armed than a blaster, I had to deflect weapons of silver but I was a master with the blade that knew no equal and they all fell before me.
It was hours of fighting, I worked my way through every corridor, every room, every outside walkway. I left nothing but a mountain of corpses in my wake, I realized then just how much blood my hands held. With a heavy breath I walked up the final steps the battle still raging behind me. As I walked up the final steps, the figure of the one I wanted to fine was waiting for me.
Standing in front of a large floating dais in the shape of a pyramid glittered with red Sith ruins. Flying off of it was red lightening, above them, the top of the temples structure began to raise into the air. The force was heavy around them, whatever he was doing was strong in the dark side but that just brought more questions than it did answers. He wasn't a force user, and he kills any force user he comes across so how could he do something like this.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" the figure asked turning around to face him. When he did turn, he could see him fully. He wore the armour of his people, his mask and armour plates held a golden tint to it. A long spear was held in his hand placed against the ground and pointing into the sky above. On his back rested a red cloak that fitted under his armour plates "All around us, war and carnage in its purest form" he continued.
My hands clenched in anger as I heard his words "And I thought you ran out of ways to make me sick" he snarled; his voice being filtered by the helmet he wore "You think all of this is beautiful?" he asked even though he knew the answer.
"How is it not?" the figure raised his arms outwards, gesturing to all the blood and death around them "Don't pretend you don't love it yourself, all those who look to you to lead them, the feeling of accomplishment with every victory, the feeling of strength after every death. They even have a name for you now, don't they? Revan"
He turned his body to the side, still facing his enemy and pointed his purple blade at his foe "you can say whatever you want, it changes nothing. This ends today, here and now"
Rather than get angry or vengeful at him. The figure simply laughed "Hahahahaha, yes. I couldn't agree more. Come to me then. The Ultimate against Raven. Mandalorian against Jedi" he pointed the spear at him and readied himself "Let us see who is the worthiest of their strength"
Without another word he charged forward, and a purple light sabre met the golden Basker.
His eyes shot open, the bright sun hit him and he had to squint in order to bare it. Though when he regained focus he found himself in the bed alone, sitting up he could see that Sabine was sitting at the pilots' controls, pressing a few buttons. The hum of the engines came to life and he felt the ship vibrating as it slowly started to raise. Rolling up off the bed, not even bothering to look for his clothes "what? You didn't want to warn me?" he joked as he walked across the ship towards her.
She looked over her shoulder and smirked upon seeing him "I was going to wake" she said though a small part of him didn't believe her "besides you looked like you could use the sleep" she frowned slightly when he stopped right behind her "tossing and turning, you nearly knocked me out the bed" she commented.
"yeah" he said calmly as he wrapped his arms around her chair, including her neck and leaned in to kiss her head "very weird dream... or force vision" he admitted.
Her face became alarmed at his words, and she turned around in the chair, forcing him to let go as a result "are you sure?" she asked.
He let out a breath and stretched, placing an arm on the back of the headrest "it seemed like it, very real"
"What happened?" she asked.
He frowned as he looked, trying to remember as best he could "it was a battle. But... I wasn't me. I... I could have sworn" he trailed off.
"What is it?" she pressed on.
"I think I saw Mandalore the Ultimate" he announced.
"What!?" she shouted almost standing up from the seat but the ship rocked as a result and she was forced to sit back down in order to pilot "are you sure?" she asked quietly but there was a tone of awe in her voice.
"I think so" he said turning around and looked across the ground for his clothes, knowing that they'll be at the base in a minute or two "it was a battle, a big one. I had a lightsabre, I was fighting Mandalorians and when I reached the top of this... Temple I guess" he reached down and grabbed his clothes before getting dressed "and I saw him, he looked just like he did in the old stories, legends, murals, he had golden armour, red overlays. A spear, it had to be Basker cause it held up to the sabre I was using" he explained, looking forward he could see the base in the distance.
"wow" was all she seemed to say and when the Tempest rested above the base "do you think it was Malachor?" she asked as the landing gear was extended.
He slowly shook his head, though he did do it unsurely "I don't know, but if I was who I think I was. Then it must have been" he said as the ship jolted as it hit the ground.
"Ok" Sabine said as she span around and stood up "we'll need to talk about this later but for now" she looked over his shoulder and at the mess they made the night before "we should really clean-up"
Being completely honest he found himself nodding and you could smell the sex in the air "A shower would be nice as well" he added and she nodded back at him.
The sight of sparks flying around the workshop stopped, taking a deep breath Ezra leaned back in the chair he was in, take the goggles off his eyes and gave them a rub. He's been in there for a few hours now and he didn't want to take a break and ruin the routine. Thankfully it took less time than last compared to when he first did this, understandable now that he knows what to do.
Placing his work on the table in front of him, he couldn't help but smile. Four individual talon gauntlets rest on the table. Two based around clone armour and the others based around Sabine's own wrist guards. Being honest it did make him feel a lot better to know that they would have these, the added weapons would be very useful and something he didn't think the enemy would see coming.
Picking them up he made his way out of the workshop and into the open air. A good thing about having a base is that you have room to build new things, one of which was a large cargo container that had been converted into the shop. Rasing a hand to his face he blocked the sun from his gaze for a moment before he ignored it and continued onwards towards his destination.
When he arrived, he smiled at the sight. It had been a few days since the spider situation had been delt with. The base was mostly set up and it gave a lot of people some free time, Sabine decided to use hers to catch up on a hobby she's nearly forgotten about.
As of the moment she was hanging from some climbing wires that were latched on to the top of the Tempests wings, two different types of paints in her hands and much like himself she seemed lost in her work but almost done as well. He had to admit, much like usual it looked a lot better now.
Before the Tempests whole ship was a dull grey, in fact now that he thought about it. Why did it take so long for her to get started? Shrugging at the question, he had a look at her work. The ship as a whole was now a collection of blues and golds and a new logo seemed to have been made. Not that he could argue, on each wing. Smack bang in the middle of both was Sabine's favourite callsign. A star Phoenix. Something which he added mentally, had talons. Appropriate.
Knowing that she wouldn't be stopping until it was just right, she was OCD like that but he wasn't complaining, the primary blue colouring with golden outlines was a really good combination, hell if he ever got some really Baskar armour again, he'd have it painted to match the ship. Shaking his head of the thought, he moved forward and when he was standing just underneath her as it looked like he placed on the final touch on her sign but he opened his mouth to get her attention. She pulled out another can of paint from the belt she wore around her waist and started to go over it again.
Letting out a small roll of the eyes he decided that he would just come back later, it wouldn't do any harm to let her loose herself in her art for another hour or two. Heading towards the command centre of the base, when he entered, he found a handful of personal going about their business. Though he did find the one he was looking for.
Able had his hands placed flat on a small table as he looked down at a data pad "Able" he said getting the clones attention as he made his way over.
"Sir" the clone quickly turned and saluted his captain but he was quickly put at ease.
He smiled at the solider and then presented him with his new weapons "at popular request" he smirked "since we're the Talons, I've spoken to Sato that's callsign now. You get a pair" he added.
And that was true, while the ship was called the Tempest and that wasn't changing. Their callsigns were now Talons. Himself being Talon-1, Sabine Talon-2 and finally Able who was Talon-3. As of the moment Talon-3 was slipping the new weapons onto his wrists and making sure they fit and thankfully they did "the design is different from my own" he started to explain "the most important thing you may have noticed by now is that small extended plank that goes about halfway down your hand. That's the important part, when you flick your hand backwards, that will... SWISH..." he cut himself off as a small red blade came to life. Able looked to him and didn't even look a little sheepish at his interruption, too happy with the weapon he now has "that will turn it on, but it will also protect your hand from the blade itself. Flick your hand up again in order to turn it off" que the blade switching off.
"Thank you sir, I'll start training with them immediately" he nodded back gratefully.
Ezra smiled at him before turning around to leave, though when he started to make his way to the Tempest, a sight caught his eye. On the left of him, clearly visible was the wall sensor markers though at this point he was more inclined to agree with some of the others around the base and call them spider sticks. Behind them was one of the afore mentioned spiders, rearing on its back legs. Trying its best to move forward into the base but...whatever it was the sensors gave off seemed to keep it away.
Walking forwards towards it, he stopped just short of the sensor line. The spider stopped moving and starred back at him, rising his hand out towards the animal. He did something he hasn't done in a while and tried to make a connection with it. He reached out with the force, he left all those around him, he could feel the force in the air, in the ground, in himself and when he felt it within the spider in front of him. He closed his metaphorical hand around the animal and tried to find a way in.
Unlike with animals in the past, it was like these things seemed to know what he was doing and really really didn't like it. The connection he just formed with the spider was ripped away from him and he was almost pushed over by the move. Stumbling backwards but being able to keep hit footing, Ezra couldn't help but frown in anger at the spider who seemed to give him the stink eye before turning around and walking off. He himself couldn't help but look down to the hand he used to reach out with "well, that's new" he mused.
"it's good to see the base is coming along so well" a familiar voice hit his ears. Turning around Ezra was surprised to see Ashoka standing behind him with her hands on her hips and a small smile on her face.
'I must have been in that workshop for longer than I thought' he thought to himself, which must have been true is she made it to the base without him being told "Yeah, had a few hiccups along the way but we got here in the end" he said calmly but not too enthusiastically.
"From what I've been told" she crossed her arms "you've been having hiccups long before that"
He couldn't help but roll his eyes, he really didn't want to hear this from her as well "you gave me the choice, I made it" he remined her, sometimes it was hard to forget that she was right next to Kanan when he was told what he would have to choose between.
Her face didn't harden, it was weirdly neutral "I didn't give you that choice" she placed her hand on his chest "I just didn't object to it and gave my opinion"
"Which was for it" he countered crossing his arms at her.
"It was" she didn't argue "and the more I listen to what you've been doing, the more worried I get for you"
He would have thought that would have been sweet, if he wasn't so annoyed "What I've been doing?" he asked sarcastically as he started to pace in front of her "oh I don't know Ashoka, I mean it's only killing Inquisitors left and right, securing allies, building a team, following leads. But no, it doesn't matter how much good I do for the cause, does it?" he stopped and looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
Ashoka didn't answer immediately, she just stood there though this time there was a small frown on her own face, not anger necessarily but defiantly something "what really matters is how a jedi chooses to win" she said.
He couldn't help but give her a shrug "good thing I'm not a jedi anymore, isn't it?" the rhetorical almost had a sense of humour in it "is that why you're here? To show me the error of my ways?"
"I think I'm the last person that can give a lecture on leaving the Jedi order" she admitted as her eyes fell to the ground for a moment "I'm not worried because you left the order, there is no order" she took a step towards him and Ezra stopped his pacing as he watched her move closer "I'm worried that you're not going to stop" her hand touched his shoulder and it was a firm hold, he almost wanted to slap it away but he did remember that she was being peaceful, if a fight broke out he didn't want to be the one to start it.
"Why would I stop?" he asked in an agitated voice, his hands strongly gripping the guards he had yet to give Sabine "since I started doing this on my own I've been getting stronger and stronger, being able to do more and more"
She looked at him sympathetically "you should stop because if you don't now then you never will" she let go of his shoulder and walked past him, looking at the vast deserts in front of them "the dark side, it'll pull at you, it'll call to you. It's just a little a first, a whisper in the back of your head, a little more anger in a fight than you're used to" she turned around and looked right at him "then it's more, you'll start to like it, you'll find a reason to justify using it" she took one final look at him, this time the anger was easy to see "I've seen it happen before, you have no idea the pain you'll bring to those around you. You have no idea what it is you'll become when it's all done"
The words where hard to ignore, he didn't know if it was because they came from her or because she was the second jedi to tell him. But it did make sense, as much as he hated to admit it. Though when that thought went into his mind, the other parts started to argue with it "what does it matter?" he found himself asking "'when it's all done'" he quoted "Ashoka, when it's all done this war will be over, the empire will be over, and the galaxy will be free. In the face of all that, what does it matter what I become?" he asked, his voice sounding harder.
The face she pulled at him almost looked like genuine confusion mixed in with a little worry "it matters because you could find yourself there. You could be at the emperor's door, beaten everything he's thrown at you and maybe even beaten him to but then he makes you the offer. Join him, he'll teach you more about the force then anyone could and because you've been using the dark side, you won't be able to say no"
"That's enough" he interrupted her "you don't know me Ashoka, so stop pretending that everyone is the same. I am responsible for my own choices, the force does not control me, it never has and it never will" he stepped forward, they were right in front of each other. Only an inch or two separating them, but they weren't face to face. They were looking over each other's shoulder, like they were hugging without touching "I don't know what happened to you and frankly, I don't care. You can say you know this from personal experience, it happened to someone you knew or hell, you could have caused it to happen to someone else. It doesn't matter, I'm not going to stop until the work is done" he took a step back and without a word, he turned and started to head back to the base.
"And no matter the cost" she called after him, causing him to turn to look at her over his shoulder "no matter the sacrifice you may have to make in pursuit of the power you seek?"
The rustling of the wind was heard between them, for one moment, he almost thought she would attack him. That it would be for the best to end the threat now, before he could grow stronger, but he put that away. This wasn't her style. If she was going to fight him, he couldn't see it being an ambush.
All he did was give her a small shrug while looking at her from over his shoulder "this is the way" without another word, he turned and made his way back to the base. He couldn't wait any longer, he needed to get to Malachor before she could try and stop him.
Ok, torches and pitchforks down. I know I said that this chapter would be the end but then this build-up just got longer and longer and this last little talk between Ashoka and Ezra just seemed like the right point to end it. Anyway, let me know what you think in the reviews.
