EPOV

As we ran the treaty line looking for any signs of Victoria, I started to hear someone's thoughts. As they got closer I recognized the voice as Paul Lahote, the hot-headed member of the pack.

"Stupid girl probably broke her hand. Should know better than to punch a wolf." His mind flashed to two girls walking off with Bella, while Bella cradled her wrist to keep it from moving and one of the girls saying it was broken.

Bella got hurt because of him. I needed to get out of here before I ripped the werewolf's head off and broke the treaty Carlisle worked so hard for. I ran for home knowing my family wouldn't be far behind since we didn't do well around the wolves. Jasper was always the one to stay back since he had better control of his feelings. I felt envious of him. He had the woman he loved for the rest of forever.

"That Mutt hurt Bella. Upset her and she felt she had to defend herself and punched him. They think that she broke a bone." I explained when Rosalie and Carlisle caught up to me.

After we got home, Alice leaned against the wall, she had a vision of Bella and my anger grew.

"Alice what do you see?" Carlisle asked.

"Bella. She's at the clinic in La Push. The werewolves must be far enough away that I could see her. Her hand is broken. She punched one of the wolves."

"Go Bella!" Emmett shouted, lifting a fist to the air like he was cheering on his favorite sports team.

"Emmett, do you not even see what's happening?" Alice scolded. "Those wolves are dangerous. She spends one afternoon with them and she breaks a bone. And what did the dog do to deserve her punch to begin with? Bella is not a violent person so it must have been really bad. She isn't safe there. She can't protect herself from them."

"Not only that but I can't stand by and watch him manipulate her into being with him with some ancient magic." I added to the conversation. "She thinks she is stuck with him and I need to prove to her that she isn't before she's forced into something she would never agree to." I was pacing back and forth, something Esme was not fond of. I'd once paced for so long that I made a trench in the floor and it had to be replaced which made the room look great but Esme preferred the original hardwood.

/Oh Edward, I wish you wouldn't pace./ I heard her think. "Edward, dear, one crisis at a time." Esme said, placing a hand on my shoulder to still me. "Today we deal with Victoria. When the threat of her disappears, we can revisit the notion of saving Bella from Jacob and the pack of newborn werewolves."

"Nothing she does with him is anything she would do normally. He's changing her. You heard the way she spoke to us, complete and utter disrespect. That is not like Bella at all."

"I hear you Edward," Alice replied looking frustrated. "Not being able to see her future has me troubled. How can I see if the decisions we make to keep her safe from Victoria are the right choices when I can't see anything while those wolves are near her?"

"That is exactly what I mean. No offence Esme, I understand your point but I feel that with the wolves clouding Alice's visions that it is more dangerous for her to be with them. We could get lucky and Victoria strike when we are the ones looking after Bella but the second they find out she's in trouble, they're going to appear. We need to get her away from them, for her safety."

"I have to say that I agree with you Edward." Carlisle agreeing was good. That meant the rest of the family would be behind us. "While Bella may not want us there due to the imprint pull, she will be much safer away from the wolves so we can better predict our success and while I know nothing about imprinting, maybe being away from the wolves will make her think for herself again."

"We need a plan." I had to get Bella away from the unpredictable wolf cubs before something really bad happened. "Maybe turning her instead of leaving would have been the right choice. She's defenseless. As a vampire she'd at least be able to stand her ground. What do we do?"

"Easy." Emmett said, smiling. "We kidnap her at night when the wolves aren't around."

"That's a horrible idea. I'm going to go hunt." Rosalie shook her head before walking away. But was it a horrible idea?

"Actually that might be our best bet. Take her while the wolves are all on the reservation and she's under our care. Where she belongs."

I could hear Alice's mind spinning at the possible futures she was working through based on decisions she would tell us. Then she smiled. "Yes. If we wait until tomorrow night, 6 P.M. Charlie will leave for the night and we get her out without any trouble. We can hide her at the cabin and we'll be able to keep her safe from Victoria there."

"Then it's agreed?" Everyone nodded.

Rosalie POV

I stuck around long enough to hear the plan from outside the house then took off into the woods. I decided to take a swim and ran toward the ocean, hoping to give myself the best possibility at success. Going up against someone who could see all your moves before you took them was dangerous but this had to be done. Swimming gave no chances for visual markers so Alice had to go through every single possibility to find out exactly where to go to find me at exactly the right time. I headed to the treaty line and got lucky. There was one of the members of the pack roaming along the beach. I was within distance of him so I knew Alice couldn't see what I was doing.

I swam to shore and stepped out of the water, the wolf went on offence and growled at me. "You can understand me still, right?" whoever it was nodded their massive wolf head. "Ok, so Alice probably knows I'm here already so I don't have much time. Edward thinks the imprint bond is controlling Bella's emotions and making her choose things she wouldn't normally. He also thinks that getting her away from the pack is her best chance because then Alice could see what was about to happen." The wolf tilted their head. "He's angry because he heard your thoughts about her punching you and Alice had a vision of Bella at the clinic. You broke her wrist which is probably his main reason. Edward's made a plan to kidnap Bella because he thinks it will keep her safe from the pack and from Victoria. Tomorrow, 6 P.M. while Charlie is gone from the house. You need to stop it from happening. They won't be happy I told you."

I left without giving them any more information and ran. I ran all the way to our cousins in Alaska. No way was I letting Edward read my thoughts. It was bad enough that Alice's vision would now be blurred, though hopefully she didn't try looking again just yet. Usually if the vision was only a day or two away, not much of anything would change. If I could save Bella from this life, allow her to live and have a family, I would.
