Two Worlds, Two Souls

Chapter 86: Being Caught

Angel's Point of View:

"The amount of information we got from that intense fight you had was absolutely bewildering!" Ra was infatuated with watching the video footage of myself using such drastic amount of my magic near two weeks ago. "The amount of magic you have Miss Seeley is absolutely mind blowing!"

"Okay..." I sighed, Sans and I sat across from him and Alphys in the research lab near the barrier. We had to have our good friend, the head royal scientist of the underground, to make sure the other doctor stayed on track. "How does that help with releasing the underground?"

"W-well... y-your powerful s-soul c-could b-be used w-we think t-to make a-a spark."

"A spark..." I turned to look at Sans. "You've told me about that before... Isn't that a baby soul?"

"Yeah... that's right." Sans narrowed his sockets at the two scientists. "How the hell ya plan to do that? Not ta mention, how immoral it sounds ta use a baby soul, regardless if its human or monster created."

"N-no, no!" Alphys waved her hands quickly. "W-what w-we want t-to do is... more l-like a-a c-copy o-of A-angel's soul. W-with A-angel's s-soul b-being s-so p-powerful... w-we t-think s-she m-might b-be a-able to g-grow a-an ar-artificial soul, o-or c-clone soul, o-off of h-hers. I-it w-would t-take t-the place o-of the s-seventh s-soul that w-we re-require t-to b-break free."

"Okay... that doesn't sound like too bad of a plan..." I hummed. "But how do I do that?"

"W-with t-this." Alphys pulled out some sort of small device in her hands that looked a lot like a black star. There were glass bits on the edges of it that glittered in the light and turned yellow when it touched Alphys' hand. Sans gave the device a once over before his eye lights narrowed. "I-it's a m-magic g-gatherer. W-we've been s-studying a-artificial s-souls f-for years a-and t-this d-device h-helped m-make o-one a decade a-ago."

We watched the device for a few moments before the woman passed it over for us to hold. The second it left her palm, no longer was it yellow in color, but rather red. I could only assume it was trying already to gather my magic. A bright red could be seen that caused all the scientists in the room to watch carefully.

"W-with you p-permission… c-can I-I attach i-it? I-I n-need to p-place it o-over y-your soul."

"Sure, I guess."

I handed back over the device as Alphys held it between her claws. I watched the woman carefully pull away part of my shirt so she could attach the device to my skin. She used some sort of intense glue or tape for it to remain attached to my skin. Once she had it in place, the device beeped quickly and there was an annoying… sting I suppose I could call it on my chest? It was a small form of discomfort which Sans picked up on quickly.

"Precious? Ya good?"

"Yeah… it just stings a little."

"T-that's n-normal." Alphys noted quickly while she fiddled with the device a moment longer. "Y-you feel t-the pull o-of m-magic on y-your soul. I-its g-going t-to grab a b-bit each m-minute to b-begin a n-new s-soul."

"Yes!" Ra quick was to say before pulling up many charts and notes that were taken about myself. I had no idea what was going on as I looked at them, but I knew I could ask Sans' later. "It normally would take a couple years to gather enough from the few times we'd practiced with this science. However, with the magical power you're at, we estimate this more so to take only about three months!"

"Three months? That's it?" I blinked and turned my attention to my partner. Sans appeared stunned at the same time. He watched carefully at the device on my chest. "How?"

"Shit… it already gathered one percent?" Sans muttered.

My eyes narrowed. "It has?"

I didn't get this technical crap at all…

"Y-yes… t-that's what h-happens w-when y-your s-soul is so p-p-potent." Alphys commented softly. She finally pulled back her fingers once the device was tightly set to the skin of my chest. "Might even be less than three months if it's yer potent soul. Yer a human after all. This is the first time we have one ta work with." Sans chuckled before he stood. He held out a hand to help me stand. "Ya ready ta head out? Don't look like there's anythin' left for us."

"N-no, we're all set!" Alphys gave a smile before stepping back to look at the computer. She began typing away feverously while Sans assisted me to my feet. "N-now l-let us know i-if y-you r-r-really are hurting. I-I h-hope i-its only a-a small d-discomfort… a-at w-worse…"

"Okay, I will. Have a good day."

And with that, Sans teleported us back home. Once we were in the warm confines of the kitchen, still smelling the pancakes I'd made that morning, I sighed.

"It's good to be home."

"Yeah, ya feelin' okay?"

Careful and gentle hands carefully touched my arms and upper shoulders. Sans didn't touch the area where Alphys had attached the device to my chest. He watched it with some hesitation before I leaned forward to press our foreheads together.

"It's alright, Darling. I'm fine." Carefully I lifted a finger to the device. It didn't hurt when I touched it, but just gentle pulling on it almost seemed to make the device suck harder at my magic. "It's just a light sting. Long as I ignore it, I bet I'll be fine."

"Ignore it, huh?" Sans raised a boney brow at me. "Wanna clue me in?"

"I could…" I giggled at him before sneaking in a kiss. "But I think you'll be busy."

"I will be?" Sans had the nerve to look surprised at that. Though I felt his arms snake around my waist to pull me closer. "Who says?"

"Oh, shut up and kiss me."

Frisk's Point of View:

"There is absolutely no way that you're gonna lose MK! This is an amazing project that you've been working on for years!"

"Yeah, dude. What are you worried for?"

"This simply will be the best! Look at how well its changed things for you!"

All of us were gushing at MK's most recent project with the help of his robotics class. The kid finally, and I mean finally... had a set of arms to use as his own. It had been many years and practice coming for the armless lizard boy. It was a new attachment that went into prostatic stubs that he had connected to his nerve tissues. He actually had arms then! It was so cool to see him able to grip something or write for the first time. Everything was new for him since he'd never had arms or hands before, so he was having us help him with all the bugs.

He was going to continue to work on them and improve them since they would be his ticket to a scholarship into one of the best collages in Hotland. It was always his dream to help out other people that were just like him. He wanted to make prosthetics more affordable for everyone as well as more common.

That was probably one of the most selfless dreams I'd ever heard…

"Thanks, you guys..." MK blushed under all the praise we were giving him. "So, who's place we going to today?"

"Mine!" I raised my hand quickly. "Angel promised to make spaghetti tonight! And we can play video games since we got out so early!"

"That sounds fun!" Sophia giggled. "Didn't Sans make all those cool games we play all the time?"

"Yes, he did~"

"And I can test out how my hand eye coordination!" MK's eyes glittered at the fact that he would actually be able to play games with us. Normally he'd just have to watch if it wasn't a ball or something he could kick around with his feet. He could actually play with us.

Was it bad that I wanted to beat his ass...?

Another victim against Frisky...

"That would be cool. You know those games like the back of your... well hand." Jay noted. "Now you get to experience them yourself instead of playing through us."

"That sounds so cool!"

And just like that, we made it back to the house. A giggling gaggle of teens that were eager that our spring break vacation in April was stared early. We hurried over to the front door that I raced to open.

"Angel! I'm hom-" I paused the second I swung open the door just in time to see my sister and Sans making out at the kitchen sink. Damn it, I think I saw some glowing tongue! "HOLY SHIT!"

The two of them flew apart from one another. Angel gripped the counter top while Sans landed somewhere by the table. Both of them looked up in astonishment to see it was me with wide eyes along with all my friends.

Then my sister's eyes turned red. "Frisk Seeley! Did you skip school?!"

"No way! We got out early!" Three heads poked in the doorway to look at my embarrassed sister and Sans. I wiggled my eye brows at them. "So... how long has then been going on?"

"Oh my God..." Angel held her face in her hands. "Of course, you had to find out..."

"Shit, do any of the others know?!"
The blushes on their faces told me all I needed to know.

"Oh my God! I have to call Papy! And Undyne! And Alphys! And Tori!"

"You will do no such thing!"

I squealed as I raced from the home. Summoning my magic in moments, two chains surged out of me and grabbed onto one of the buildings before yanking me in the air. Hurling me forward, I was riding on the chains of my magic while Angel raced after me. She was hot on my heels and it wouldn't take long for her to catch up to me. I had seconds to act. I pulled my phone out and called Papyrus' contact.

He picked up after three rings. "Frisk! You know that I am on patrol-"

"I saw Sans and Angel kissing and they're chasing me!"

The silence on the other end of the line before I heard the line cut. I kept flinging myself away from Angel who was dangerously close to grabbing me at one point. I just had spotted Papyrus on the Snowdin Forest path and gunned for him. His jaw had dropped to the ground when I arrived. He was fetching it as I danced around the body of my best friend.

"AH!" Papyrus outright screamed while I laughed behind him. The laughter that escaped me was maddening.

"Papyrus!" My sister whined. "Please calm down!"

Just when my sister was focusing on him, I hurled my chains and flew out again. That time calling Undyne.

Angel's Point of View:

We were out in the back fields were echo flowers were grown in Waterfall. Scattered among the talking flowers, we both sighed.

It was peaceful...

It was calm...

It was warm...

Sans was on me in an instant. The frustration of the day was getting to us that we were craving each other's touch. I pulled away a few moments later to curled into his body. My nose dug into the fabric of his jacket. The softness feeling familiar in this unusual situation.

We had been found out much sooner then what we had been planning. I didn't even think that Frisk would get out of school so early. I forgot that we were near the end of the school's time before summer break...

We didn't think about locking the door or moving up into one of the bedrooms. It was only noon. We weren't expecting anyone to come by when Sans and I were home for lunch.

It was just... so easy to kiss him. Once we'd done it for the first time, it was too addictive not to.

Any time after we'd gotten together, we took every moment when we were alone to be touching. I didn't know why it was so addicting, but just holding hands, hugging, or even going as far as making out... it was all I could do to keep myself sane without it.

It was only when we'd know we'd been alone for a few days that we attempted to be sexually active.

"Well, this has been a hell'ova day." Sans snorted from beside my ear.

"Yeah..."

The two of us ended up sitting on the ground in the midst of the flowers. Sans pulled me before him so I could lean back against his ribs. He loved leaning forward to place his skull on my shoulder. I wasn't sure what he liked about it, but I knew he loved to weave his fingers into mine that rested on my abdomen.

"So... ya wanna camp out here for the night?"

"That might be better than going home..."

Curling into what warmth he provided, Sans and I only could look at the scenery. Neither of us wanted to go home. I was honestly hoping that the others would forget about what had happened.

Though I knew that wasn't likely to happen.

"Angel? Sans?" We both groaned as we lifted our heads and look in the direction of the voice. Granted, we were both surprised to see it was Toriel and Asgore. The king and his former queen were walking in casual clothes with a couple members of the guard only a short distance away from them. "What in the world are you two doing here?"

I glanced back at Sans, a tad surprised. He shrugged at me before we turned back to the royal couple.

I raised an eye brow at them. "We could say the same for you two."

"Ah... well..." Asgore nervously rubbed the back of his head while Toriel only rolled her eyes. "We are taking some time together to enjoy the flowers. They are lovely this time of year."

"It seems the two of you are closer than you have been in the past." Toriel snickered behind her hand as she looked at our figures together on the ground. "How long has this been going on?"

Sans groaned from behind me. One of his hands leaving my own in order to rub the back of his skull. "The night Asgore accepted 'em."

"Goodness!" The king chuckled. "That was not all that long ago. But I am very happy for the two of you."

"Thanks."

"That would explain why my phone has been... 'blowing up' as I believe Frisk and Papyrus would call it?" Toriel pulled out the device to look at the messages left for her. "It would seem that Frisk is on quite the hunt to find you two and gather details."

I scowled at that. "Well, she can wait."

"Sans," The king's voice carried over the air that left the both of us sitting up a bit straighter. "I believe that there's some paperwork that I left on the third floor I need you to work on. It may take you a couple days to finish, would you kindly get started on it?"

And with that the king left us. He nodded softly back to Toriel and the two of them continued on with their walk. We were both so stunned by the comment that I looked around me to glance at my boyfriend.

"Sans? What did he mean by that?"

"Heh... thanks Fluffybuns."

Sans let out a snort before I felt myself whisked into the air. I couldn't suppress the squeal as I latched onto my boyfriend's jacket in fright.

"Sans!"

"Hang on Angel, Fluffybuns is lettin' us crash at his place."

And just like that we were in the castle. The same grey stones along with beautiful tapestries were surrounding us in the large room with a massive bed. Sans carefully set me down on the silky sheets rubbing his hands over my arms.

While he kept his grip on me, I looked into his sockets. Nearly glowing was his single eye with magic that pulsed. He was feeling some intense emotions. And I had a feeling I knew what those emotions were.

Just looking at him already had me like a puddle of goo. I knew what was coming, and I couldn't lie. I really wanted what was going to happen, to happen.

"I don't feel like goin' home, Precious."

"I don't either, Darling." A shaky breath left me as he leaned in close. "So, kiss me already."

Witch's Note:

Uh oh…. Hahaha! They got caught! And by Frisk of all people? Now that's just plain mean…

I love it!

So, what about all of you? How did you like this chapter? Or how about an amazing fact that friggin MK is so smart that he built his own arms?! That's amazing! And will come in handy with the shit I shall put his best friend through!

But anyway, let's move onto some reviews!

Shadow8Phantom: Yes! Shadow, that's exactly what I was going for! This was another part of why I wrote this story the way I did. I wanted to remove the entire 'reset' feature from this story not only to try a new type of magic, but also to have Sans have a happy ending for once. I've seen the way that others write him in a 'reset' story, and while written so well, its scary to see what the resets do to him. Horrifying even. I wanted to avoid that and do a much more mellow, but still dramatic in its own way, story.

And yes, definitely wanted to avoid the… sanscest.

Thank you! I'll keep all of you posted!

Thechaosmaster: Oh my! What senses you have! You're sensing something coming? Perhaps? Perhaps not? Who knows? There's still a Flowey out there and a barrier preventing us from seeing the world above! Will that happen in the last six chapters? Who knows?

Also, hope you love the little lovely moments I put in here! I couldn't resist! XD

Commander: Okay then, Commander. I just need you to first sign this document that illustrates that if anything beyond the normal means of Mystic Girl's character come about from her eating all the candy you give her, its your problem and not mine. Thank you very much!

(Once I have secured your signature, I hold out a dish of finely crafted delicacies for my best friend to munch on.) Oh, Mystic! Delivery for you!

(With a maniacal grin, my best friend bound over to me, taking the candy of her favorite variety and scarfing it down without a moment's hesitation. A few moments of peace followed as she rubbed her tiny tummy before the end of the world began. Her body began to vibrate and I took a few steps back.)

Me: Have fun!

Not A Shady Guy: Its okay Shady! We understand. Life is horrendous! I know I've been going through some stressful times right now where I haven't been able to do much writing and it's driving me mad… Don't worry about it and just get back to us when you can. We'll see you eventually! Its always great to hear from you since you've been here since almost the beginning if I remember right?

Alright, another one down and six more to go! (Internally cries) I can't believe how close we're getting folks! With six weeks left, a lot can happen! Stay out of trouble and don't forget to send ideas in if you haven't yet or haven't given them all! I plan to start posting right after this story finishes! So, I need some stuff to work with!

Love you all and see you next week!
