Alice POV
"Jasper, I need to go shopping for the prom. I'm hoping that Angela will be alright around us by then. Would you like to join me?" I danced around the house, cleaning up a couple things Bree left lying around in her haste to leave with Edward for her mother's funeral.
"Of course, my love. Where would you like to shop?"
"There is this beautiful boutique made for weddings in Seattle, it has a one of a kind mermaid gown in a blush color that will look perfect on me." I already saw myself in it a week ago, right up until the point where Bella, Angela, and Jessica walk in with their dates, then everything is a true surprise.
"As you wish." Jasper loved quoting The Princess Bride. Though he'd never admit it to anyone, he was a hopeless romantic.
I walked toward the garage but a vision brought me to my knees.
"Alice? What is it?"
"Bella."
I could see the large group of newborn vampires running through the woods before hearing a howl and everything went black. Then it shot to Bella, her truck broken down and Victoria pressing her into the ground, and Riley hiding in the shadows.
"We have to go, NOW!"
Jasper and I each called another member of the family as we ran through the woods. They managed to meet up with us just before we got to the treaty line. Edward also joined us, having just made it home from the funeral, leaving Bree at the house.
"Treaty be damned. Bella's going to die if we don't hurry." I heard the same howl from my vision and everyone nodded. "I'll take care of Bella, you guys go help the pack. Keep them away and I'll be okay, no wolf is near her. I can protect myself as long as I can see." They nodded again and ran toward the sound of the howls while I ran toward the road.
Before I made it there though, I was met with a wolf, I assumed Jake.
"I can't see things with you here. Be careful, it's just Victoria and Riley."
He barked and we ran faster.
When we arrived, Victoria had Bella pressed up against her truck and was about to bite her. Jake attacked her and I attacked Riley, catching both off guard but they fought well. Jake had a hard time keeping up with Victoria's speed and I had to concentrate to fight Riley, who wasn't very skilled but had newborn blood running through his veins.
I heard Jake yelp but I couldn't afford to be distracted.
After a moment of fighting, a scent I recognized hit my nose, Bella's blood. Riley and Victoria were distracted though so I took my shot. I ripped Riley's head clean off his body and tossed it away, I quickly tore apart his body, flicked open a lighter and set his body ablaze.
I turned toward Victoria who'd halted her assault on Jacob's body and turned toward Bella. I took my chance, coming from behind her and in that moment of distraction, I was easily able to rip her to shreds, sending her piece by piece into the fire created by Riley's body. When all of her was burning I turned back and grabbed Riley's head and tossed it in too.
When I knew it was all over, I ran to Bella's side, and covered her wound with my hands, hoping I made it in time.
"Don't you dare die on me Bella. I will change you if I have to and I know how much you'd hate me if I did. Please don't die."
I was about to pull out my cell phone since I no longer heard fighting in the distance but before I could, Carlisle, Jasper and two wolves appeared on the road.
"Help! She's lost a lot of blood, and I think he has broken bones."
The two wolves phased back into their human forms and I recognized them as Sam and Jared, quickly getting shorts on and rushing over to their fallen brother. They pulled Jacob up into their arms and Carlisle said to bring them to Jake's which was the closest. I ran with Bella in my arms and Carlisle ran to the medical clinic on the reservation and grabbed some supplies.
"What happened?" Jake's dad asked, "I felt something inside me and… why are you here? Where's Jake?"
"He's right behind me. We were caught off guard by the newborns. Bella's lost a lot of blood. She needs a transfusion."
"Bella, honey?" Charlie asked, gripping her hand tightly. I felt for him, having my own child ripped from my hands, I could imagine the pain he was feeling and wanted nothing more than to make sure she made it through this, for everyone's sake.
Carlisle walked in the house behind me, not caring to knock. "There was the right medical supplies needed but they don't keep blood bags in La Push. When I'm done suturing her wounds, I'll have to bring her to Forks, I just hope she'll make it that long.
"Like Hell. Use me, we have the same blood type." Charlie offered and Carlisle worked quick to set up a system where Bella was directly given blood from her dad, a risky move but given the circumstances, her best bet at survival.
Just then the door burst open and Jake was carried inside and set on his bed, already having phased back to his human form though I wasn't sure how since he was unconscious.
"Jacob?" Billy said, and I noticed then that the old man was standing. I knew adrenaline from your child being in danger was powerful but I didn't know it could do that. "How many were there?"
"18, but they caught us off guard. Came through the river so we couldn't smell them." Leah said, walking in the door behind Sam and Paul. "Not including the two that were at Bella. Victoria and Riley."
"And they're all dead?" Charlie asked, trying to focus on anything except the blood draining from his body and into an unconscious Bella.
"Every last one, Chief. It's finally over, now we just have to make sure everyone gets better and life will hopefully return to normal." Leah replied.
"Alice?" Carlisle called, and I realised I had zoned out, something uncommon for a vampire, especially me, to do. "Bella needs a lot more blood than Charlie can handle giving, and he'll need some too after this. Can you keep an eye on things here while I go get some? I also need to grab the portable X-Ray machine. I could hear something when she was carried in. I think there might be a broken rib or two.
"Of course."
/Later/
Carlisle hooked both Charlie and Bella up to blood bags and Bella was given an IV. Bella did end up having a broken rib but not much could be done about that, she just needed time. When he was done, he headed in to Jake. From the sounds of things, Jake wasn't doing so hot. I could hear a lot of bones being reset. He came back out and looked at me.
"I'm going to head home and get something to eat. I gave Jake a morphine drip as well as an IV. The morphine is maxed yet he's still feeling a lot of pain. I explained to Billy what to do when the bags are empty. Charlie," Carlisle said, turning to face him, "When that blood bag is empty, you should be good. You might be a bit dizzy so stay seated for a bit but Alice will remove it. You should have something sweet to help your blood sugar levels but you'll be good to go shortly after."
"I won't be going anywhere regardless." Charlie said, giving Carlisle a lopsided smirk. "Thank you for everything. Go take care of yourself now." Carlisle nodded and headed out the door.

First beach was filled with decorations in a warm sunset orange with pink accents. Beautiful orange daylilies and bright pink tulips were weaved around posts that were stabbed into the sand, while fairy lights with small clips like the kind you hang laundry drooped between each post with photographs of mine and Jake's lives together, moments I never knew had been captured on camera.
Our first dance after Phoenix. Our date with Angela and Paul. A zoomed in photo of us on the Ferris wheel from down below, me staring at Port Angeles from the top while Jake's eyes looked at me, full of love and wonder. Prom, graduation, Jake's graduation. And another photo from on top of the Ferris wheel. As I walked closer to see what made that one different from the first, I was spun around into Jake's arms.
"Mrs. Black." He said, placing a hand on my cheek and another on the small of my back. "You look absolutely delicious."
"Why Mr. Wolf, what large…" I glanced down at the bulge in his pants, then back up, peering at Jake through my lashes. I smirked and his face became the epitome of sexual angst.
"You don't fight fair."
"I never said I did. Now, I have a rehearsal dinner to attend. Will you be joining or do you need to go take care of a… not so little, problem?"
Jake growled at me, pulling me into him and lifted one of my legs so I could feel his erection right where it ached. A moan involuntarily left my throat.
"Woman!" He growled, breathing in my scent.
"One more day, baby. Just one. It will be worth it to wait. All that pent up sexual frustration, our honeymoon is going to be amazing."
"We won't make it to the island at this rate, I'll take you on the plane. I'll probably take you on the aisle if you keep dressing this way."
"Just wait until you see my wedding dress." I winked, lowering my leg from his side, "I'll see you at the tent." I walked away from Jake, not seeing the look on his face. I closed my eyes before walking through the large tent on the grassy area above the beach that I envisioned our future home on. I pushed through the tent door and opened my eyes.
