Uravity barely had time to track down Pinky and Red Riot before she got the call from Hatsume.

"Get back to the lab, QUICK! Something's happened!" Hatsume said before hanging up the phone.

Uravity paused and stared at her phone. There was panic in her voice. A panic she remembered feeling a few months ago when she was at U.A. Fearing the worst, the three heroes raced to Hatsume's lab. Along the way, Pinky called Creati and DynaMight. Neither asked the Acid Hero any questions before racing off.

Pinky had updated her hero costume significantly. She wore her crop jacket with a pink 'P' badge on her shoulders and a purple padded crop top underneath. She wore fingerless gloves with open palms. Instead of a one-piece suit, she wore unique pink and lavender cargo pants. She wore an updated version of her acid-proof shoes, opting for a sleeker design.

Red Riot's updated costume was a homage to his Tokyo costume. We wore dark steel gauntlets and a tank top. His pants and waist cape remained the same as his U.A. outfit. His steel frame mask had scratches and dents all around it.

Creati updated her outfit as well. Replacing the leotard, she wore a more modest top revealing her mid-drift and slight cleavage. The top was not as form-fitting as her previous outfit. Instead, her costume had more depth with armored padding on the shoulders and around the chest. She wore shorts that revealed more of her legs while keeping her modesty. The color scheme remained the same as before.

While Uravity's costume didn't change from before, her grappling hook bracers were slimmer, and her belt was similar to her Liberation War belt. The suit had armored padding, and her boots did not come up to her kneecaps like before.

When they arrived at the lab, the heroes burst into Hatsume's office. One of the hanging monitors had an old news broadcast showing a train derailment. DynaMight's eyes widened. "What the fuck?!" He exclaimed.

"Did that just happen?" Red Riot asked.

Abigail Winters shook her head. "This just popped up, but this footage was from 12 years ago. A train derailment just outside of Atami," she said. "We jumped online as soon as we saw it, and we confirmed that it didn't happen in our history until a moment ago."

"Which means that it just happened in the past," Hatsume said.

The heroes all turned to each other. Uravity gulped and stepped forward. "Hatsume...were we on that train?" She asked.

The pink-haired inventor slowly nodded. "You were saved by Deku's Blackwhip. A major event like one of you dying would've thrown the whole timeline into orbit, so I'm thankful that didn't happen," Hatsume said.

"But we still have a problem. The Discord Organization claimed responsibility for the attack, and we found out that they kidnapped someone. I hope you're happy with who you have, Ochaco, because doing the time jump now is critical if we want to save the timeline," Abigail said.

"Who did they kidnap?" Creati asked.

Hatsume told them the name of the kidnapping victim. The heroes in the room gasped before turning to Uravity.

The Anti-Gravity pro hero turned to her old classmates. She smiled and turned to the two inventors. "We're ready," she said.

Abigail smiled. "Right, so we need an advanced guard. Two heroes have to go first and open a portal in that timeline. Once we have a secured connection, everybody else will come through," she said as she approached the Time-Cycle. "Installing another seat wasn't doable, so this is what we can do."

Uravity nodded. "I'm going through first. Bakugo?"

DynaMight shook his head. "As tempting as it is to see a multiverse, I'd rather storm through. You need Ponytail to lay the groundwork before we pass through."

Uravity turned to Creati. "Momo?"

Creati turned to the others. She looked at Uravity and nodded. "Count me in," she said.

Pinky and Red Riot approached Abigail. "Do you have any heals? Just in case someone is injured when we get there?" The Hardening Hero asked.

"I have a few cases ready to go. I also have more Anti-Nomu serum for you to take. I can only hope that the Chaos King didn't distribute the drugs before we destroy them," Abigail said.

Red Riot nodded. "We'll take them down," he promised.

Pinky nodded. "So...when are we going?"

Hatsume giggled. "Good one," she said.

"W-What?" Pinky wondered.

Thankfully, Abigail understood. "You can leave immediately, but there are concerns with time travel in this thing," she said. "First off, it's a lot like riding a motorcycle, which means balance is everything. With the stabilizers we installed, the risk of falling off is minimal-"

"But not zero," Hatsume said.

Creati face-palmed. "When the destination is selected, the Time-Cycle will create an optimal pathway for you to follow. You cannot circumvent this path in any way. If you do, you'll be at the mercy of the multiverse and the unstable conditions that inhabit it," Abigail continued. "Contrary to popular belief, the multiverse isn't just a collection of parallel universes. The multiverse is a massive collection of infinite realities organized and connected by massive amounts of energy. These realities are finite and possess barriers that protect them from the energy that flows through them."

"And these connections are safe ways to traverse these universes?" Creati asked.

Abigail nodded. "Once you arrive, the Time-Cycle will establish the connections between our periods. All you have to do is create a portal, and you'll have reinforcements to fight against the Chaos King," she said.

"Just...be careful. Time travel is an incredible and dangerous thing. By traveling to where the universe was, you're essentially flying into uncharted waters," Hatsume said in a sober tone. "If you fall off the path, you could be lost to the multiverse. The energy flowing through the space would tear you apart and scatter you into an infinite amount of realities."

Red Riot flinched. "Well...that sells the experience for me," he said.

Pinky nodded. She turned to Creati and Uravity. "You guys ready to go?"

Uravity nodded. "Let's go save the past," she said.

Abigail Winters smiled. The two heroes approached the Time-Cycle. Uravity took the driver seat while Creati sat in the back. Both seats were padded and big enough so they would feel comfortable. The handlebars looked a lot like a regular motorcycle's setup. There was a small monitor between the bars and a simple arrangement of buttons and switches behind it. The Janus Stone was on full display and was visible on the monitor.

"Use the monitor to input the year you want to go. The Janus Stone will scan you and reach into the void. If there is a solid connection, which there will be, it'll lock onto where that person or object is. Hold down on the brakes and rev the engines to build power. Release the brake, and the energy will be released, creating a portal for you to drive through," Abigail said.

"Focus on the path that the Time-Cycle gives you, and you should be in the period where Deku is with no issue," Hatsume said.

Creati smiled. "Thank you, girls," she said.

Abigail nodded. She turned to get some distance from the time machine, but she flinched and turned a full 360. "Oh, before we forget!"

She turned and walked to her desk. "I'm glad you guys like your updated suits, but we also made a new one for Deku!" Abigail said. She grabbed a silver suitcase and tossed it to Creati. "Give that to him when you rescue his ass!"

Hatsume's standard grin widened when she saw the suitcase. She was about to give the specs on it, but Abigail reached over and covered her mouth with her hand. "Let it be a surprise!" She exclaimed.

The cover only lasted a second before Abigail's expression changed, and she snapped her hand back. "GROSS! You licked me!"

"You touched my butt!" Hatsume retorted.

"YOU NEEDED HEALING!"

Hatsume waved it off. "Anyway, your suits all have updated specs based on your recent inquiries. Yaoyorozu, your suit specs are in the right pocket of your shorts, so you can create another set if you need to. The same goes for everyone," the pink-haired tinkerer said. "Deku's suit is also lightly armored and updated from his Suit Omega. This should be the final version of his suit."

Abigail nodded. "Thanks to SHIELD Technologies, the material is stronger than All Might's Golden Age suit. We gave it the personal touch he always liked," she said.

Uravity smiled. "Thanks. I'm sure he'll love the upgrade," she said.

"He better!" Hatsume said.

The two heroes settled on the bike. Creati placed the suitcase on her lap and created a harness to keep it close to her stomach. Abigail came over and showed Uravity how to turn on the Time-Cycle. With the press of a button and a few flicks of some switches, the machine roared to life. The monitor lit up with the current date on display.

Uravity put in the date of the train accident and hit 'lock.' The Time-Cycle's monitor and the Janus Stone started to blink several colors before settling on red. The anti-gravity hero turned to the tinkerers, and they both gave her a thumbs up. They were ready to go.

The tinkerers stood by the remaining heroes. "As soon as they disappear, be ready to fight. For them, it'll take a few minutes to get to the past, but it will be near-instant for us. As soon as the portal opens, jump in," Abigail said.

"A fight?" Pinky wondered.

Hatsume nodded. "That train explosion meant that villains hit it, and that could mean they are still in the area. Deku may need your help to stabilize things," she said.

The heroes nodded. Abigail turned to the time-travelers. "Hit it!" She called out.

Uravity nodded and revved the engines. She held down the brakes and let the Time-Cycle charge up. Red crackles of energy surged around the machine and through the two heroes. The smiles on the tinkerers didn't falter as the machine charged 100% power.

The monitor behind the handlebars turned green. "Release the brakes and blast off! Good luck, heroes!" Abigail called out.

Creati gave a thumb up. Uravity released the brakes, sending the two heroes into the nearby wall. Before they could hit, they burst through a wall of energy, sending red electrical sparks into the world. They disappeared in an instant.

When you pass through the energy barrier of the universe, you bypass space as a whole. In no time, the Time-Cycle burst through the other side of Mei's Lab before shooting into the air. The cycle reached impossible speeds as the two young heroes found themselves outside of Earth in a second. In 10 seconds, they exited the Solar System. In 30 seconds, they exited the Milky Way Galaxy.

In 2 minutes, they burst through the outer limits of their universe, passing an infinite number of galaxies on the way out.

Once they burst through the universe, the ride started to feel smooth. Creati had her eyes closed when they passed through a blue supergiant, so when she opened her eyes after feeling the cycle slow down, she felt her breath leave her body.

The Multiverse...a collection of universes held together by strands of energy. The shape she saw reminded her of a spider web. Blue energy enveloped the collection and seemed to be moving like the clouds in a storm. Each universe looked like a bead of light, and there were billions of them just within her line of sight.

She turned to look back at the universe they came from. It had shrunk from her view until it became a bead like all the others.

Creati looked down to see the Time-Cycle driving on a road of blue energy. "W-Whoa...this is incredible!"

Uravity smiled. "Deku and I got this view 13 years ago, and it's unforgettable. The ride feels different because we're driving this time, instead of just sliding between universes," she said. "Congratulations, Yao-Momo. You've become a Dimensional Traveler!"

Creati giggled. "And time-traveler," she said.

"Oh yeah...I guess we're time-travelers now..." The smile on Uravity's face grew.

Creati's eyes wandered to take in as much as she could. She gasped as she saw a bead of light appear in the distance. A strand of energy connected it with another bead. As that happened, two beads near it disappeared, breaking a strand of energy.

It took a minute for the Everything Hero to register it, but when she did, she felt an "Oh..." escape her lips. Two universes had died in front of her while another was born.

She sighed. The Multiverse was a strange and beautiful place. As she surveyed the space, she saw more universes die while others appeared in their place.

Hello there, everyone! This chapter was a quick little filler while I get the other chapter done. I initially had the idea of this being a story on the future and the present, but I feel this is better. I'll have the nex chapter out soon. In the meantime, I'm still trying to figure out Into the Fire but I should have another chapter out soon.

I have an author's announcement in the next chapter. It's a current events page. Just a heads up.
