Chapter 25 -A New Pair of Shoes pt1-
"This isn't fair! Why does she constantly get to attack me, mock me and get away with it? She deserves it!" Trixie snapped at her mother. Both of her parents were rather mad with the 10 year old who was getting mader and mader. Splinter could only smile from a distinct watching as her godchild was dealing with the consequences of her actions. She could only purr from her location behind her parents were the twins which both of them were standing there quite. Elizabeth just shook her head at her 10 year old daughter.
"Oh sure because the sweetest girl in school decided. To suddenly become a school bully even though everyone knows her as the sweetest girl in school. It's not at all like she's in the news constantly. Just because you lack the ability to talk to people doesn't mean you have a right to take out your frustrations on other people. And by the way I did take your sketch set and no you're not getting it back. On top of that you're going to her house 2 every week to do chores. For the next 3 months and if you mess this up you won't like the consequences. You can go to your room now."
Trixie was frustrated beyond belief. After everything that Jessica had put her through this was what she got. Finally taking back revenge the girl and her possy which protected her like a Queen Bee. Not that heinous woman deserved it. Trixie was frustrated in more than one way. From pink hat stealing her wealth, to the lack of popularity, to not being able to do what she wanted. And now being punished for something that witch deserved.
She slammed her door shut, tears were falling from her eyes. He was going to pay and that was a certainty. "That's it. I wish lava would fall on Timmy Turner's house and melt it away! I'm tired of his evil and sinister jokes. I want my old life back. I want my money and popularity! And most importantly I want Jimeny and Jessica to pay for everything they've done to me!" Splinter just looked at her godchild and anger flared up as she was sick of it.
"That's it!" Splinter snapped at her godchild and transformed into her full form. Holding out her wand the entire room glowed red with the furry that was inside the fairy. And Trixie back was leaned up agaisnt the door in terror. "I've been patient with you the last couple months, but I'm sick of this. I'm sick of your behavior. It wasn't Timmy that took your wealth from you, it was me! In an attempt to teach you a lesson one that has clearly gone over your head. So it's time for Trixie Tang for you to learn what it's like to be another person. What it's like to be poor. It's time for you to see through the eyes of another and walk a mile in their shoes."
Trixie couldn't even bellow out as the entire room flashed red. It was silent in the room for a moment and she woke up, but it wasn't her room. Looking around Trixie noticed several things first and most importantly she wasn't in her room. It was roughly the same size as her bedroom. The walls were a brilliant blue which blended really well with the blue ascetic. "Where am I?" Suddenly appearing was her godmother who was smiling at her wearing her usual french style clothing. "And what happened? What's going on?"
"It's quite simple," her godmother pointed towards a giant mirror in the room. Getting off of the squeaky bed she walked over towards it. Trixie looked in the mirror and the horror on her face emerged. "And yes hun all of this is real." Standing in front of the mirror the color from her face had drained well, not technically her face. Standing where she was supposed to be was the boy in the pink hat. She moved her hand and Timmy's hand moved instead. "And yes sugar bun I did this on purpose. It will only last 24 hours. In other words you are going to experience an entire day as Timmy Turner."
Trixie just stared at the giant buck tooth, "Does he ever floss these things? On one hand cool testosterone on the other hand eww."
"Enjoy yourself hun," with that Splinter transformed into a goldfish and slipped into the fishbowl. "Don't forget you have to eat breakfast." Trixie frowned at this, what was worse? Her godmother being behind it or the fact this was more proof of their collision.
Unsure of what else to do, Trixie slowly made her way downstairs. Moving the pink hat that was now perched atop his head. His place was rather sad to be in with a sense of emptiness. It was bigger than her family's home when they were poor; Trixie moved into the kitchen. Trying to see what the Turner's had to eat, and was sorely disappointed. Nothing, but burnt food and sugary cereal. "Okay then well I see you have nothing." Splinter popped up a moment later as a backpack and looked at her godchild, "I guess I'm having cereal."
"You know you could always make a wish," Splinter said. "Well so how do you like being a boy? Also since mama did get you into this mess just to make sure nothing goes wrong. Mama will be by your side. Just till the end of the day and no hun I won't take a no for an answer. Cause you're not technically you."
"Whatever," with that she grabbed the bowl and pulled down the best looking box. None of which were too particularly interesting; after finally getting the bowl filled Trixie spent the next 5 minutes digging through drawers. Trying to find a spoon before finally filling her bowl "So all I have to do is survive the entire day as Timmy Turner? Well this is going to be easy."
"You say that now," Trixie sat down at the table and started to eat her food. Slowly taking in Timmy Turner's house whose body she was currently inhabiting. One thing Trixie did miss was her old home. Why did this one feel so empty? On top of that, where was his parents? "Something on your mind?" Splinter had transformed into a backpack that was next to her.
Before she could speak, a woman's voice startled her, "What are you doing Tommy?" Trixie looked up to see a woman around middle age wearing a blue shirt, white pants; brown hair, blue eyes and rather plane looking woman. Which Trixie gessued was Tim's mother. "What are you doing Tommy? The bus is about to arrive and you're still in the house."
"Uhhhh just eating breakfast mom," Trixie said. Trying to hold her tongue at the woman. "Why can't I just take a ride to school instead of taking the bus? Please." She asked, but the woman didn't even give him another shot. Grabbing him by the arms, Trixie was thrown out of the house. Without so much as to say Trixie walked over to the school bus where a bunch of kids had gathered. Not one of them could Trixie name, but they seemed familiar. Splinter reappeared as the backpack in his hand and right on time the bus pulled up. "Well that explains a lot."
Finding a decent spot not too close to the front of the bus, but not near the popular kids. Trixie slipped into it, "Look I get it. Can I please just go back to normal?" Which only got an eye roll with an audible no. Clutching Splinter close to his chest Trixie looked out at the window. But pushed some annoying thoughts away there was no way he was going to admit defeat. "You know something, this opportunity has given me some useful information on pink hats. And I'm still going to get my revenge against you for this and him."
"Dude, who are you talking to?" Looking up Trixie looked to see the two kids that were always talking too. One of them would've been cool if he'd spend less time around losers and more around other rich kids. And then it was the blonde kid who was always eating out of trash cans. "Timmy, are you okay? You seem rather…different today. Did something happen?"
"Uhh of course not what do you losers want?" Trixie asked. "Can't you see I'm busy brooding and plotting my revenge?" Both the blonde kid and the prodigy looked at one another and then back at him. "Look, I don't want anyone near me."
"And where are we supposed to sit?" The blonde haired kid asked.
"I don't know or care just not next to me," Trixie scooted over away from them. Only for both of them to sit right next to him which only flustered Trixie. Why did people never listen to him? Trixie frowned as the school bus pulled up to the curve. This was going to suck.
